The Calimo Mansion
"Are
you sure that there's nothing I can get you, Mom?" Sophie asks Natasha, who
is looking out of the French doors into the garden from the living room of the
Calimo mansion. Natasha turns to look at her daughter, with red eyes as she can't
believe that Shane was arrested at their wedding. "No, darling, I'm
fine," she tells her, as she can see Louie moving to the bar to get himself
a drink. "I think I need to go speak to Louie, if that's okay."
"Of course," Sophie hugs her quickly. "Just remember that I
am here if you need anything." "Thanks baby girl," Natasha
forces a smile on her face. Natasha moves past her daughter, which leaves
Sophie alone. For a quick moment, Sophie feels a touch faint. She puts her hand
on a chair to stop herself from calling over. "What is wrong with me?"
she asks herself quickly, before she gets herself together and scurries away.
Twin Peaks Law Courts
Nicholas and Andy walk next to one another
on the steps of the Law Courts as they are there to be married by a Justice of
the Peace. They decided to have a smaller wedding recently because they didn't
want Melissa, who is back in Twin Peaks, to try to ruin their wedding. However,
they are worried about how the day will unfold since they were at Shane and Natasha's
interrupted wedding. "Are you still sure this is a good idea?"
Andy stops Nicholas and turns to look at him as they reach the foyer of the building.
"After the wedding we just witnessed, or didn't witness, I am worried that
Melissa will try a trick." "I want to marry you, Andy,"
Nicholas smiles back to him. "My mother has no idea that we are going to
get married today. I
I don't think we have anything to worry about, Andy.
Unless, that is, you're having second thoughts." Andy leans forward
and kisses him on the lips. "I still want to marry you more than anything
else in the world," he tells him as their lips part ways. "Let's get
married, and let's make sure nothing, and no one, stops us." The
Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino Eva moves into the restaurant
desperate to get a drink after she witnessed the blotched wedding of Natasha and
Shane. She offered her support to her daughter, but Natasha claimed that she needed
some time alone, so Eva left, and now, wants nothing more than to have a strong
drink. She, also, can't help but think about the fact that while she was at the
wedding, Dominick sent her a text message telling her that he, or the Robertson's,
don't want her help in trying to get Felicia away from Frederick. She wishes that
there was something that she could do to get back in Dominick's good graces.
As she waits for the server to come, she happens to see Will sitting at the
bar. She arches her eyebrow as she recalls seeing Will before the wedding, and
he admitted that his entire future might be changing. He was cryptic about what
was going on, but she is certainly curious. "Looks like we had the
same idea after that disaster of a wedding," Eva chuckles to him as she sits
next to him at the bar, and then orders a scotch. "How is Natasha
doing?" he asks her before he takes a sip of his drink, which is a whiskey
sour. "She is in shambles," she admits to him. "She has
no idea what is going to happen, and this man, this guy who claimed to be Shane's
father, he was so angry. I
I have no idea how they will resolve this."
"Seems like everyone is having issues right now," Will chuckles
back to her. "You and I are odds, you and Dominick, me and Paige, Shane and
Natasha
" "You know that I am sorry about what happened
between us, right?" Eva admits to him before she takes a sip of her drink.
"I never meant for you to feel like I used you, Will. The truth is, I care
a great deal about you, I always have, and I always will." "But
Dominick has your heart, right?" "I love him, yes," Eva
nods back to him. "But that doesn't mean that I don't have feelings for you.
That will never change." Will smiles back to her. "I wish I
was enough." Eva caresses his cheek and leans in and kisses him softly
on the lips. "You are enough, you always have been," she whispers to
him. "You just have to start believing that." ***
At a table in the back of the restaurant, Paige sits with some herbal tea
in front of her. She is trying to calm her nerves down after she told Leah and
Jeff about her pregnancy earlier in the day. Her parents were shocked by her admission,
which she isn't surprised by; telling them was easier than she thought, but they
did have a lot of questions, but she told them she would explain in due time.
Now, she is waiting for Dominick to arrive, so she can tell him the news, since
she doesn't want him to find out from someone else. Her table is far away from
the entrance of the restaurant, so she hasn't seen Will, or Eva, sitting at the
bar. "Do you know how much I love getting invited to a late lunch
with my beautiful granddaughter?" Dominick smirks as he arrives at the table.
Paige gets up and hugs him quickly before they sit across from one another.
"Hi granddad." "You look beautiful today, you're glowing,"
Dominick notes back to her. "Whatever your secret it is, I hope it is a Robertson
product." Paige chuckles back to him. "You're so sweet,"
she tells him. "Today, this is all natural. I haven't felt like putting much
makeup on lately." "That's not like you," Dominick replies
to her quickly. "What is changing your mind on this?" "It's
why I wanted to see you," Paige admits to him. "I saw my parents earlier
and shared some news with them, and I needed to share it with you." "I
hope everything is okay?" "I am fine," Paige smiles to
him. "The thing is
I am
I'm pregnant. I'm going to have a baby,
granddad. At least, I think I am." "You think?" Dominick
asks her quickly. "The truth is," she whispers back to him.
"I don't know what I'm going to do about this baby, but I have to make up
my mind sooner than later." "So this is what you were talking
about the last time we had lunch?" he asks her as she nods back to him. "Well,
my darling, my advice to you is the same; follow your heart, it will not steer
you wrong, but I am excited to be a great grandfather." The Tower's;
The Penthouse; Cory & Penny's Home
"It sounds like the wedding
was a nightmare," Penny chuckles to Cory, who is making two vodka spirtz
at the bar in the living room of the penthouse, where he lives and Penny is staying
with him. Cory just returned home and filled Penny in on the interrupted wedding
that left Shane in police custody. She can see how dashing he looks in the tuxedo
that he is wearing, even though his bowtie is gone; she, still, hasn't told him
that her vision came back after they had sex a few nights earlier. "I
checked in on Sophie before I left the mansion," Cory admits to her as he
moves to the sofa and passes her the drink he made. "She was going to see
how Natasha was doing, but she looked rattled, to say the least." "I
can't imagine what they were going through." "It is probably
for the best that you stayed back," Cory chuckles before he takes a drink.
"How are you feeling today?" "I am great," Penny tells
him with a nod. "I
I haven't been able to stop thinking
"
"Oh yea? What has been on your mind?" "What do you
think?" she chuckles to him. "You and I, and how we, finally, reconnected
the other night. I
I needed that so badly." Cory smirks back
to her. "I could tell, it was great for both of us," he tells her. "But,
I've been meaning to talk to you." Suddenly, Penny can hear the front
door opening. She knows that Robin has a key to the property, so she leans forward
and kisses Cory again. He gets swept up in her passion, and Robin, moves into
the penthouse, and is shocked by seeing Cory and Penny sharing a heated lip-lock
in the penthouse. The Sugarbowl
In the back booth of the
coffeehouse, Robbie sits across from Madeline, who has the baby stroller next
to her, as baby Bobby is fast asleep. Robbie is still reeling from the fact that
Madeline has returned to town and revealed that she gave birth to their son while
she was away. "I certainly hope that Shane and Natasha can navigate
what this means for their future," Madeline tells Robbie before she takes
a sip of her latte. "How are you feeling about the wedding not happening?"
"I, mean, I feel bad for Nat, of course," Robbie replies to her.
"But I want to give my sister space to figure out what she wants to do next."
"That's fair, and it gives us time to talk," Madeline tells him.
"You were pretty shocked when I came back to town with Bobby; how are you
feeling now?" Robbie chuckles back to her. "I am still shocked,"
he admits to her. "I have thought that you were pregnant, we only had sex
once on New Year's; to think that we produced this adorable baby boy, yea, I'm
thrilled but still wrapping my head around it." "I know it was
a shock, but I'm hoping that we can co-parent him together, Robbie," Madeline
tells him. "I know that I need to get back to work, with Shane being arrested,
maybe the hospital will need me back? I don't know, but I don't want to just be
a mother to him, and having you helping me with him, would achieve that."
"I will do anything for my son," Robbie smiles back to her, as Kim
and Tyler move into the coffeehouse. They, immediately, see Madeline and Robbie
together, and look at one another. "Is that a baby carriage next
to Madeline?" Kim asks Tyler. "It looks that way," he responds
to her. "What
what do you think that means?" "I don't
know but I intend to find out," Kim says as she starts to walk towards the
back of the coffeehouse. The Calimo Mansion
"How is
that expense bourbon you're drinking?" Natasha asks Louie as she moves up
to him in the living room of the Calimo mansion, which is now empty as the guests
have left the mansion since the wedding didn't happen. "It is fine,"
Louie tells her. "I haven't had one aged this well in a very long time."
"You shouldn't be drinking it at all, not after what you just pulled."
"You came to see me to get the truth, remember?" Louie asks her
quickly. "I just found out where you were from and I took action to make
my son pay." Natasha's hand slaps Louie hard across the face. "If
anything happens to Shane, so help me God, you will answer to me, Louie, because
you, you've opened a can of worms that should have been shut a long time ago."
Twin Peaks Police Station
Shane finishes explaining the events
that lead to his mother's death after his football all of those years ago to Simona.
He just hopes that she now understands that what happened wasn't murder, so he
shouldn't be addressed. "I will have to pull the police report to
confirm that the moose was the cause of death from your mother," Simona replies
to him. "Because if that was in the police report, I would be baffled as
to why your father believes that you killed your mother." "Because
he's a hurt man that never got over the loss of his wife," Shane sighs back
to her. "It's why I ran away from my past life; my father has treated me
horrible ever since that day, even though I didn't do anything. But, detective,
I have to ask, what happens to me now? Am I free to go?" "I'm
afraid not," Simona reveals to him. "Not until I confirm the details
of that police report, until then, you will have to remain in jail with a pending
murder charge." Next on One Day at a Time - Donovan lashes
