The Pink Flamingo at the River
Rock Casino Sophie looks at her phone and realizes that she has to
head back to the Calimo mansion as Natasha has planned a family dinner. She hopes
that the dinner goes off without a hitch as she knows that her family can have
a lot of drama. As she stands up to leave, she happens to see Logan and
Meggan at the bar, drinking together. She sighs heavily as she knows she has tried
to tell Logan, a few times, that she is pregnant with his baby, but he has always
seemingly had a drink in his hand when she went to talk to him. The last thing
that she wants is to tell Logan about the baby while he is under the influence.
A short time ago, she suggested to him that, perhaps, he is drinking too much,
and Logan lashed out at her for the suggestion. She hates that this is, seemingly,
coming between her and her friend, but she can't deny that she is worried about
the amount that he is drinking. "Somehow, I will have to tell you
about this baby," she whispers to herself as she puts her hand on her belly,
while she hears Logan and Meggan start to laugh with one another, before they
both take another sip of their drinks. The Sugarbowl
Leah
sits at in the back booth of the coffeehouse with a peppermint tea in front of
her. She is thinking about the fact that she and Bryce met with Dominick earlier
in the day to tell him their plan on how they want to get Felicia away from Frederick.
Dominick did give them a couple of suggestions to tighten up their plan, which
they took to heart. Something, though, is still not setting well with
Leah. She knows that she was with Dominick when Eva
approached them and suggested that she help them with Felicia. Dominick, however,
has refused to allow Eva to help them, because he is still upset with her for
not telling everyone months ago that Felicia was wit Frederick. Instead, Eva allowed
the Robertson's to continue to believe that Felicia was dead. "I
I
still think that Eva could help us," she whispers to herself before she takes
a sip of her tea. "If I ask Eva to help us, will Dominick be furious with
me?" She shakes her head back to herself. "I don't care if he's
upset with me," she continues to tell herself. "This is about saving
my mother, and I have to do anything, and everything, I can to get Felicia away
from Frederick." She pulls her cell phone out of her purse and dials
a number. "Eva, hi," she says into her phone. "It's Leah, do you
have time to meet with me? It's important; it's about Felicia." The
Park
In the park, Paige sits on a bench that overlooks the flowing
river. Her mind is lost in the rushing water as she is still trying to decide
what to do about her pregnancy. The last time she saw Will, he was upset with
her when she admitted that she was still deciding what to do about the pregnancy.
The fact remains, though, she is torn because her and Will will never be together
again, because she knows that he is still in love with Eva. "You
look lost in thought," Will says as he comes up to the bench. He had been
on an afternoon jog when he saw his former lover sitting by herself. "Thinking
about our baby?" Paige looks up at the sweaty man and nods back to
him. "I still don't know what I want to do, but I am running out of time."
"I've made my side pretty clear," Will sits next to her. "I
think we should talk about this and come to a mutual decision." Paige
uneasily locks eyes with him. "The thing is, Will, I
I don't want you
to have any part of this child's life. If I decide to keep my child, I don't want
you involved in their life." Will feels the blood drain from his
face at her words. He can't believe that he is going to be a father and now, Paige,
is telling him that he won't be in the child's life. "You
you
don't mean that
" "I do," Paige firmly stands by her
decision. "If I decide to keep this child, you will not be a part of his
or her life, and that is something I will not change my mind about."
The Lawson Estate; Cheresa, Dawn, Abby, Ethan, & Georgina's Home
Cheresa continues to pace back and forth in her bedroom as she wonders where
Dawn is. Dawn had come home to have a nap, but when Cheresa went to check on her
girlfriend, she was missing. Considering all of the threatening text messages
that Dawn has been receiving, Cheresa is worried about what could be going on
with her. "This doesn't make sense," Cheresa whispers to herself
as she runs her hand through her long hair. "Where could you have gone, Dawn?
And why haven't you responded to any of my text messages or phone calls?"
She feels like she has a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach wondering
if Dawn is in some type of danger. "What can I do to help you?"
she asks herself as she continues to fret. She moves to the end table on Dawn's
side of the bed and opens the drawer. She has no idea what she is looking for,
but she feels like she has to do something to try to help Dawn. As she
riffles through the drawer, she picks up another phone that she finds. With an
arched eyebrow, she looks at the device. "What is this? And why do you have
another phone, Dawn? What is going on?" Bar Code
Lukas
and Clayton sit across from one another in the bar, each with a beer in front
of them. They are meeting to discuss Clayton's stunning question for Lukas to
leave town with him. "Have you given any more thought to the idea
of us skipping town together?" Clayton asks him with a giggle before he takes
a sip of his beer. "I have," Lukas nods back to him. "It's
been a welcome distraction from all of this stuff going on with Olly."
"I can only imagine," Clayton looks back at him. "I know that
losing your son hasn't been easy on you, or Donovan for that matter."
Behind them, Sergio appears, as he came into grab a beer after his shift at
the police station. He takes a seat at the bar, but he is able to hear the conversation
between the other two men unfolding. "It has been the worst thing
I've ever gone through," Lukas admits to him. "And that's why I have
been considering leaving Twin Peaks with you, Clayton. But before I agree to this
I
I
have to be honest with you about something." Clayton arches his eyebrow
back to him. "Alright, what is going on? What do you have to be honest about?"
Lukas sighs back to him before he takes a sip of his beer. "I
I
slept with Donovan," Lukas admits to him, as Sergio's eyes open wider in
surprise at the bar. "It was during the trial, you and I, we had been seeing
one another, but it was still new. We
we just had this big victory in court,
and one thing lead to another
" Clayton looks back at him in
shock. "Let me get this straight?" he asks him with intent, as Sergio
stands up and rushes out of the bar, furious with what he just overheard. "You
and Donovan slept together, only a few weeks ago, and this is the first time I'm
hearing about it?" "That's right," Lukas nods back to him.
"Now that you know the truth, Clayton, does that change your mind about us
leaving town together? Do you still want to leave town with me?" The
Calimo Mansion
In the nursery, Madeline peers into the crib and sees
baby Bobby fast asleep. She gets a smile on her face at the sight of her son looking
so comfortable. She knows that Robbie has been concerned over the fact that she
has struggled to pick up some of the basics of motherhood, but she is hoping that
she can still be a mother to her son. "I will make this work,"
she whispers as she caresses his face while he sleeps. "I don't have a choice,
do I? No, no, I don't, because I am your mother, and nothing will ever change
that." She stands up and takes a deep breath before she exhales.
"And Robbie is right, if I am struggling with any sort of postpartum, I should
look into help; it might help me be the best mother I can be to my precious little
son." ***
Downstairs, Robbie moves back into the living
room to grab a glass of wine while Natasha's dinner party is finished being set
up. He is so glad that Natasha has been so welcoming to his son as he, and the
rest of the family, are still in surprise that he is a father. As he pours
a glass of wine, he can't help but wonder about Madeline and how she is coping
becoming a mother, as he knows that she claimed she was struggling to get used
to it. He also hopes that, if she does, have postpartum that she can seek out
help for it. "What's all this?" a voice calls out as they move
into the living room, having seen Rosario hustling back to the dinning room. Robbie
looks up and sees Kim moving into the room. "Kim," he says looking
back at his former wife. "Robbie," Kim looks back at him with
a gulp. She still feels awkward about the fact that he has moved Madeline and
their son into the mansion where they all live, but she knew that this was bound
to happen: she couldn't stay away from him forever. "How are you?"
they both say in unison before they chuckle to one another. "What's going
on?" she asks him back. "What is Rosario up too?" ***
A
short time later, the dinner party begins starts as Rosario finishes putting the
final food items on the table. Natasha then stands up and looks at Jacob, Sophie,
and Shane, who are all seated at the table in an awkward silence. "Robbie
is just checking on Bobby, but we can begin without him," she tells her family.
"I
I wanted us to get together for a meal so we can be reminded that
we are a family, and despite some of our issues, we all love each other very much."
Natasha locks eyes with Shane before she raises her glass to a toast. Sophie,
then, starts to pick at her roast beef as she is still thinking about Logan and
Meggan and how they are always drinking; she still has no idea how she is going
to tell him that she is pregnant with his baby, and to get through this dinner,
she wishes that she could have a glass of wine. Across from her, Jacob
sits and takes a long sip of his wine. He is thinking about how he ran into Stephanie
earlier and she revealed to him that Cassie threatened her; he has no idea what
his wife was thinking, but he realizes that she crossed a line. He dreads the
conversation that he is going to have with her because he won't tolerate her speaking
to his friends that way. Natasha sits back down and looks at Shane. "Shane,
darling, how was your day at the hospital?" "Fine," Shane
coldly replies to her, still upset with her for bringing Louie back into their
lives. "Is that all you can say?" Natasha asks him as she sets
her fork down. "I went out of my way to make this lovely family meal, and
all you can is fine?" "What do you want me to do, Natasha?"
Shane asks her as he throws his napkin down and Jacob and Sophie uneasily look
at one another. "Pretend that everything is hunky dory because you put together
a meal? That's not how this works!" "I'm trying to build a bridge
between us, between all of us! We have become so fractured! I just want us to
go back to normal, the way we used to be," Natasha explains to him. "It's
going to take more than one fucking meal to do that," Shane yells at her.
"You know what? I've lost my appetite. I will see you around." Natasha
watches as Shane storms out of the dining room, leaving her alone with her children.
She, quickly, forces a smile on her face before she picks her fork back up. "The
roast beef is wonderful, isn't it?" Next on One Day at a Time -
