The Cascade Apartments
"Thanks for helping me put the groceries away earlier," Cassie tells
Jacob as she moves into the living room of the apartment that they live in with
Carter. Earlier in the day, Jacob was helping Cassie with the groceries when he
confronted her about threatening Stephanie. Cassie told Jacob that she wouldn't
apologize for wanting to ensure their family unit is kept intact. "Yea,
of course, I want to do my part around here," Jacob says back to her. "But
I am also glad that we got everything on the table within regards to Stephanie."
"Yes, me too," Cassie sits next to him while she purses her lips
together. "Like I said, I will not apologize for warning another woman not
to mess with my man or my marriage." Jacob looks back at her with
intent. "Just remember that Stephanie and I are friends, Cassie. I am allowed
to have friends that happen to be female." Cassie uneasily nods back
to him. "Yes, of course you are," she tells him. "I just know the
way Stephanie looks at you, and I can read that from across the room. She has
designs on you, Jacob. I won't come between you and your friend, but I will remind
her, all the time, that you're a taken man." Jacob chuckles back
to her. "I will remind of that too, but believe me, Stephanie has never tried
to cross the line with me, not even once." "And she better damn
well keep it that way," Cassie winks back to him. The Davenport

"Wow, these designs are
amazing, Trey," Andrew smiles over to Trenyce, who is showing Andrew and
Daisy the latest designs that she has worked on for the upcoming launch at Robertson
Enterprises. Of course, she has sworn them to secrecy since the launch should
be a surprise to everyone, but she wanted her family's input on her designs.
"I agree with Andrew," Daisy looks over at her niece. "You've
outdone yourself." "Thank you," Trenyce beams back to her
family. "It has been so nice to focus on something other than Tinah and her
paternity." "I actually saw Chris earlier," Daisy reveals
to everyone. "His head is still spinning about that DNA test that you had
run and how it showed that he was the father, not Andrew." "We'd
all like to know that," Andrew admits to her as they lock eyes. "We
lost weeks of not knowing the truth, and creating more confusion for Tinah."
"I am just hoping that now that we know the truth," Trenyce looks
over at her family. "That we can all just pick up the pieces and try to move
forward, however that looks like." The Pink Flamingo at the River

Chris sits at the bar at the restaurant with a scotch in
front of him. His mind is racing on his recent visit with Daisy at the Sugarbowl
where he was saying that the DNA test that they had run on Tinah to confirm who
her father was is baffling to him because it proved that he was the father. However,
after Tinah needed another bone marrow transplant, Stephanie revealed that Chris
couldn't be the father, and confirmed that Andrew was her father. Daisy ended
up telling Chris that she was sorry, which left Chris wondering why she was sorry.
"When I asked Daisy about it," Chris whispers to himself as he takes
a sip of his drink. "She covered by saying it was the situation that she
is sorry about, but, I, I can't place it. It felt like there was more to it."
Chris takes another long sip of his drink. "But what could Daisy actually
be sorry for?" he asks himself. "I don't know, something about this
doesn't make sense; nothing about this situation makes sense! But I need to figure
this out, it could be the only way we all move on from this nightmare."

At a table in the back of the restaurant, Andy and Nicholas
sit across from one another with some dinner in front of them. Andy is pleased
to see that Nicholas is out and about as earlier he didn't want to leave the condo
as he as still feeling the effects of Melissa interrupting their wedding by revealing
that Nicholas' partner, Jarrod, is alive and well. After explaining that they
didn't want Nicholas to go through Jarrod's death, he ended up recovering from
HIV, Nicholas threw them out. "I happened to see Jarrod earlier,"
Andy admits to Nicholas they lock eyes with one another. "We had a good talk."
"How was he? How did he look?" Nicholas asks him quickly. "He
was fine, I mean as well as to be expected," Andy replies to him. "I
think he is realizing how much this lie hurt you and impacted you." "As
he should," Nicholas tells him. "What he and my mother did was disgusting."
"He asked me about you and I," Andy reveals to him. "I told
him about how close you and I are." "And? How did he take that?"
Andy shrugs back to him. "I think he was hurt," Andy tells him.
"But I think deep down he knew that you wouldn't be holding on to him forever."
"I don't know what to do about Jarrod," Nicholas admits to him.
"Part of me is thrilled that he is alive, but I can't get over this betrayal."
"I get it," Andy reaches over and holds Nicholas' hand. "You
have time to figure out what you want to do." "While you were
seeing Jarrod, I paid my mother a visit," Nicholas tells Andy. "I told
her to leave town and never come back." "That's not the first
time you've had that conversation with her," Andy uneasily chuckles to him.
"Do you think she will listen to you?" "I hope so,"
Nicholas sighs back to him. "Because I never want to see that woman again."
*** As Shane prepares to leave the restaurant, he happens to
see Natasha moving towards the front door. He sighs at the sight of his wife and
she is the last person that he wants to see. He just finished having a heated
conversation with Louie, where he told his father to leave Twin Peaks. "Oh
Shane," Natasha nervously smiles at her husband as she approaches him. "I
was just coming in for a nightcap, if you care to join me?" "I
had the same thought, but then I saw Louie inside and I had a change of heart,"
Shane reveals to her. "You saw your father?" Natasha asks him,
knowing that she asked him to talk to Louie in hopes of them finding some common
ground. "How did it go?" "As well as you'd expect,"
Shane tells her. "We had a heated conversation and it ended in me telling
him to go back to Detroit." "Oh Shane," Natasha tries to
reach out to his hand but he recoils from her. "I am so sorry."
"Natasha," Louie appears in the foyer of the restaurant. "You're
looking lovely as always." "Thank you, Louie," she looks
back at him before she looks over at Shane. "I heard you and Shane had some
words?" "My son thinks that I should head back home," Louie
nods back to him. "And, for once, I agree with him. There's nothing left
here for me, so I will be heading back to Detroit, as soon as possible."
"That is the best thing I've heard all day," Shane glares back at
him. "The sooner you're gone, the sooner I can try to get my life back on
track." *** At another table inside, Bryce sits at
a table with a whiskey sour in front of him. His mind is racing over the fact
that he was distracting Frederick earlier in the evening as Dominick an Leah went
to get Felicia out of the mansion. He got a text from Leah saying that it was
a success, but he hasn't heard anything further. He is dreading the moment that
Frederick realizes that his wife is missing, however, because he knows how much
Frederick cares for her. "I did the right thing though," Bryce
whispers to himself. "I had to get Felicia out of that home to see what her
true medical status is." "Hey, drinking alone?" a voice
calls out at this table. Bryce looks up and sees Ethan standing there.
"Hey man, yea, wanna join me? It's been a while since we've chatted."
Ethan sits across from him and orders a drink. "So, what are you doing
here drinking alone?" Bryce chuckles back to him. "Well, my
marriage is over," Bryce sighs back to him. "I've tried everything I
can think of to get Victoria back, but she wants a divorce." "I'm
sorry about that," Ethan shakes his head back to her. "I guess that
means that you'll file the divorce papers?" "Yea, I don't think
I have any other options," Bryce admits to him. "Anyways, enough of
that. How are things with Abby and Georgina? I need to stop by and see my niece
again soon." "We'd love that," Ethan smiles back to him.
"Being a father, it has changed my world; when I look at my little girl,
I see my entire life in front of me. She's the best thing that I've ever done.
I
I just don't think everyone feels that way." Bryce arches
his eyebrow back to him. "What do you mean by that?" "It's
Abby," Ethan reveals to him. "She's been very focused on Sonny since
she found out he's alive, and I
I feel like she's putting Georgina second.
And I don't like it, I don't like it at all." "Have you spoken
to Abby about this?" "I have," Ethan nods back to him.
"But I don't think she gets how serious this is, and I don't know how much
more I can take of it. But I won't raise my daughter in that type of environment."
"Whoa," Bryce uneasily chuckles back to him. "Don't do anything
crazy, Ethan. Abby just went through a custody trial, I don't think she could
handle another one." "Then she better realize how serious it
is that she is a mother to our daughter," Ethan takes a sip of his drink.
"Because Georgina is the main priority in my life, and she should be in Abby's
too." The Cascade Apartments "You really think
that we should call Donovan and Lukas to help us with Olly?" Max
asks Abby as they continue to face one another in the living room of his small
apartment. Earlier, Abby suggested to Max that they call the men that Olly still
sees as his father's after he rushed out of the room when they told Olly that
they were his biological parents. "I do," Abby nods back to
him quickly. "The truth is, Donovan and Lukas, they want the best for Olly,
just like we do. They should be wanting to see him adjust in the best possible
way, and so, yes, I think getting them on board could be a huge help."
"I have been so worried about reaching out to them," Max admits
to her. "The fact is, they were devastated by the judge's decision; I wasn't
sure how they'd react to seeing Olly or wanting to help us with him."
"Like I said," Abby looks back at Max. "They love Olly, they
will want to do what's best for him." Before Max can respond, there
is a knock on his front door. "Excuse me for a moment," Max tells Abby
as he turns and moves back to the door. When he opens it, he sees Lukas standing
on the other side. "Lukas." "Hi Max," Lukas says back
to him. "Can I come in? I
I need to see Olly, and I can't take no for
an answer," he says as he moves into the apartment and then locks eyes with
Abby and Max, who are wondering what Lukas is doing there unannounced. The
Richardson Estate; Meggan, Lukas, Donovan, & Logan's Home
"Answer
me, Donovan," Sergio glares back at him as the two men continue to face one
another in the living room of the Richardson estate. "Have you been playing
me for a fool all this time?" "No," Donovan shakes his
head back to him. "Of course, not." "Then what the hell
happened?" Donovan sighs back to him. "The day in court,"
Donovan begins to explain himself to Sergio. "We had just gotten our lawyer,
Josh, to get Abby to admit that Max Black, not Andrew Pherson, is Olly's biological
father. It was a huge point for us in the case because we painted Abby to be an
unfit mother. This
this was before Max entered the custody case, at the time
it was just us vs. Abby." "So, you had a victory in court? And
what?" "And when we got home, one thing just led to another,"
Donovan continues to tell him. "We never meant for this to happen, it just
happened. We got caught up in the moment, Sergio. It only happened once, and Lukas
and I realized it was a mistake. I'm
I'm sorry that I didn't tell you, I
should have. I was just so consumed on the trial and trying to keep my son."
"I suppose all of that makes sense," Sergio replies to him.
"So, now my question to you is, where does that leave us?" Donovan
asks him quickly. "Can you forgive me or have I ruined what we have together?"
