The Calimo Cabin

Sophie looks out of the front window of the Calimo cabin and sighs as she sees snowflakes starting to fall from the sky. There is already a large amount of snow on the ground, so the last thing she wants is for more snow. And, she knows that it might be more difficult to get home, or for the text message Meggan sent to Logan to go through. She had hoped to use the time at the cabin to tell him that she is pregnant with his baby.

"It is snowing again," she tells Meggan as she turns around to face the woman that will be her child's grandmother.

"I guess that means my message to Logan might be even more delayed," Meggan sighs back to her. "Do you want me to keep the fire going?"

"I think that's a good idea," Sophie nods back to her. "Do you want me to pop outside and get some more firewood so it is dry by the time we need it?"

"Yea, that sounds great," Megagn replies to her. "I'll put another log on now."

Sophie moves to the door and grabs her jacket, which is hanging on the hook next to her. She zips herself up and then leaves the cabin. She doesn't have to go far, as there is more wood logs on the porch. Thankfully, it is covered, but being outside, the wood is still damp from the snow. She grabs five logs and moves back to the door.

Once she's inside, she freezes when she sees Meggan pouring herself a glass of wine at the bar. "What…what are you doing?"

"I'm having a drink," Meggan looks back at her with a sly grin on her face. "Do you want one?"

Sophie shakes her head no as she sets the wood down by the fireplace. "No…I…I didn't realize there was alcohol at the cabin?"

"Have you seen your mother? She always has a drink in her hand," Meggan chuckles to her. "I'm teasing. There is some alcohol here, but I brought my own. It's fine, Sophie. It's snowing, we aren't going anywhere, we might as well pass the time with a drink, right?"

Sophie hates the scene unfolding; the entire reason she hasn't been able to tell Logan that she is pregnant is because he has been drinking. When she agreed to come to the cabin, she never thought that Meggan would bring her own alcohol, but she realizes that it makes sense since she is an alcoholic, but she still doesn't like it; not one little bit.

Dominick's Townhouse

Frederick storms up to the front door of Dominick's townhouse and starts banging his fist on the door. He is furious that Felicia is missing from the Victors mansion, and he is sure that Dominick had something to do with it.

"Dominick!" he yells as he continues to pound his fist on the door. "Dominick! I am not leaving here until you open this damn door!"

After he went to check on Felicia the previous night, Frederick realized that she was not in her bedroom. He searched the entire mansion, and the grounds, but she was no where to be found. At that moment, Frederick realized that Dominick must be behind the disappearance of his wife.

"Dominick!" he yells again, before he tries to turn the door handle, and to his surprise, it's unlocked. He moves inside and rushes into the living room, but there is no one inside. "Where are you, you son of a bitch?"

"Hello? Who is here?" a voice calls out at the front door. Frederick and sees Bryce moving into the living room. "Frederick? What…what are you doing here?"

"I could ask you the same thing," Frederick glares back at him. "I'm looking for Dominick! Where is he?"

"I…I'm not sure," Bryce replies to him. "I…I got a message from him asking me to come lock up because he had to leave quickly. Why? What is going on?"

"That son of a bitch has my wife!" Frederick yells at him. "So you have to tell me where he is, and you have to tell me right now!"

The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino

Daisy and Andrew's engagement party is still in full swing at the party as friends and family of the couple circle and enjoy food and beverages provided by the restaurant. At the bar, Jacob looks over and sees Stephanie approaching him with a glass of champagne in her hand.

"Don't you look dashing tonight," she purses her lips together as she comes up to him.

Jacob chuckles back to her. "Well, thanks, you look beautiful yourself," he replies to her.

"Thanks. Is Cassie here? Should I be worried about talking to you?"

Jacob chuckles back to her. "She is here, yes," he nods back to her. "And no, I told her she was out of line when she threatened you."

"You did?" Stephanie asks him in surprise. "How did she take that?"

"She wasn't happy, but I think she will be fine now," Jacob tells her. "I told her that I can be friends with whomever I want."

Stephanie smiles back to him. "I appreciate you defending our friendship," she tells him as they hug quickly.

Just then, Cassie comes up to them and clears her throat. "Hi Cassie," Stephanie tells him. "I'll give you two some privacy, but enjoy the party."

"See you soon Steph," Jacob waves to her before he looks back at Cassie, who is clearly annoyed.

"I…" Cassie shakes her head back to him. "I can't believe that woman!"

"Cassie, just relax, like I told you, we are just friends, nothing more."

"It better stay that way, or that woman will answer to me," Cassie looks back at Jacob with intent.

"I saw the latest reports and designs about the upcoming launch, and I have to admit, everything is looking really great," Tyler smiles to Jeff and Victoria as they are huddled in a corner talking about the project of the luxurious bath line that Jeff and Victoria have been working on at Robertson Enterprises.

"Thanks," Victoria smiles back to him. "Jeff and I, we've really enjoyed putting this together. I…I think it will be a bit hit."

"And we can't wait to see the reaction from the public," Jeff chimes in. "Because this is so different for the company."

"I have to admit, I was skeptical about you two working together," Tyler chuckles to them. "But the two of you, you are a dream team."

Jeff and Victoria look at each other and try to hide the chemistry between them. The truth is, they have been sleeping together for weeks now, and they, still, can't get enough of one another.

"The launch is almost ready," Victoria tells Tyler. "We should have a meeting to finalize the details and then prepare for the company to skyrocket."

"I'll drink to that," Tyler toasts their glasses before he takes a sip of his champagne.

Robbie grabs another glass of champagne and happens to see Victoria, Jeff, and Tyler talking. He arches his eyebrow as he takes a sip of his drink, wondering if they are planning something at Robertson Enterprises; he knows that if they are, Roboto will have to be prepared to counter them.

He finishes his champagne and sets the glass down. After the events that transpired at the New Year's Eve party, where he got drunk and slept with Madeline, the last thing he wants to do is over consume champagne again.

"Not having another champagne?" Kim asks him as she moves up to her former husband.

"Nope," Robbie shakes his head back to her. "Trying to learn from past mistakes."

"That's commendable," Kim looks back at him. "Don't beat yourself up too much, Robbie. You have the beautiful son to be thankful for."

Robbie smiles back to her. "I don't know how you do that," he admits to her. "You're clearly hurt by Madeline having my child, and yet you are happy for me at the same time."

Kim feels her eyes swell with water. "I know how long you've wanted to be a father, that's why I am happy for you. You…do deserve this."

She moves her hand up to her eye to prevent a tear from falling down, which Robbie gasps back to her. "What's this?" he asks her as he looks at her large diamond ring on her finger.

"Oh," Kim looks back at him. "Tyler and I…we are engaged. We are going to be married," she reveals to him as, suddenly, Robbie craves another glass of champagne.

Max peers into the crowded room before he takes a sip of his champagne. His mind is racing over the fact that he and Abby, recently, discussed the idea of contacting Lukas and Donovan to help Olly with the adjustment of learning that he and Abby are his biological parents. Shortly after, Lukas arrived and said goodbye to Olly, as he left town. Max, still, wonders if he should reach out to Donovan.

As he takes another sip of his of champagne, he happens to see Donovan standing on the other side of the restaurant. He finds himself moving over to Donovan.

"Good evening," Max says as Donovan looks back at him, seeing Max for the first time since he took Olly out of the Richardson estate. "Enjoying the party?"

"I suppose I am," Donovan looks back at him. "How is my son?"

"That's kind of why I am here," Max admits to him. "I…I know me taking Olly out of the mansion with the help of the police was extreme…"

"It was," Donovan agrees with him. "But, it was going to happen sooner than later. I've…I've been trying to give you space with him, but, my God, I miss him."

"I get it," Max replies to him. "And he misses you too. The fact is, Olly, he is having a hard time adjusting to all of this."

"I can't imagine," Donovan shakes his head back to him. "Lukas and I, we are the only parents he has ever known."

"That's why I'm here," Max reveals to him. "I…I was hoping you'd stop by my place, so you could see Olly, and, uh, maybe, help him with these changes and adjustments. What do you say, Donovan? Will you come by and talk to Olly? Will you help him?"

Robin and Cory are slowly dancing on the dance floor while a romantic song is playing. Cory leans back and looks into Robin's eyes before he leans in and kisses her softly on the lips. When they part, the song stops, and they move to the side, each grabbing another glass of champagne.

"This is nice," Robin tells him as they take a sip of their champagne. "Just us getting reconnected, you know?"

Cory chuckles back to her. "I couldn't agree more," he tells her.

"I am curious about something," Robin admits to him. "Have you heard from Penny since she went back to her farm?"

"Only that she arrived and is safe," Cory tells her. "But she wanted space to get over everything that happened, and I have to respect that. She knows she can reach out to me when she is ready too."

"That's nice of you," Robin nods back to him. "You know, when I went to say goodbye to Penny, she said something to me, something that I haven't been able to forget."

Cory arches his eyebrow back to her. "What did she say?"

"She said," Robin begins to tell him. "That she is grateful that you two had one final night together. What…what did she mean by that Cory? What was Penny talking about?" she asks him as Cory gulps heavily back to Robin.

Nicholas peers into the busy restaurant, which is still filled with family and friends enjoying the engagement party. He finishes his champagne and then sets the glass down on the bar.

"I need to get out of here," he tells himself. After everything that has happened the last few weeks with Melissa stopping his wedding to Andy by revealing that Jarrod, the man Nicholas believed was dead, is alive and well. He wants to go home, take a warm bath, and just try to relax, since he is high strung. "I still need to figure out what to do about Jarrod."

As he packs his belongings, he recalls how Andy told him that he ran into Jarrod, who was asking how close Andy and Nicholas had become. Nicholas wonders if Jarrod still has feelings for him, despite faking his death for years.

"I don't care," he tells himself. "I want to go home and try to put this behind me."

As he turns to leave, he freezes when he sees Jarrod moving into the restaurant, as he didn't realize that it was closed for a private junction.

"Nicholas," Jarrod says as he moves up to him. "Hey…can we…can we talk?"

Chris stumbles up to a waiter and grabs another glass of champagne, and he quickly drinks it down. He's clearly had enough of the bubbly beverages, but he is trying to numb the shock of what he thinks he has figured out. He goes to set his empty glass down on a tray, but he stumbles again, and the tray of glass shatters to the ground, causing the crowd to gasp out in shock.

Daisy, Andrew, and Trenyce rush over to him in concern. "Chris, are you okay?" Daisy asks her ex-husband as she helps him up.

"I'm fine!" Chris yells back at her before he looks at his family. "This is all a fucking mess! This entire Albertinah situation is a mess!"

"We know," Trenyce tries to tell him, as the rest of the party goer's start to come around.

"You know what I don't understand?" Chris stutters his words to his family, feeling the effects of his alcohol. "How that DNA test said I was the father of Tinah. Do you have any idea, Andrew? Or Daisy?"

"Why would we know?" Andrew asks him in confusion. "It must have been a medical mix up?"

"Really? A mix up? Do you really think Stephanie would allow a mix up, because I sure as hell don't!"

"What are you saying Chris?" Trenyce asks him in confusion. "What do you think happened?"

Chris looks at Daisy with intent. "Daisy," he looks at her. "Did you change the paternity test results? Did you want everyone to think that I was Tinah's father?" he asks her as Daisy feels the blood drain from her face.
