The Cascade Apartments
Jacob sighs heavily as he reads the text message from Stephanie, asking him
to get Cassie under control, as she is upset that Cassie kissed him at the engagement
party when she knew that Stephanie was watching. Jacob hates that he feels like
he is being put between his friend and his wife; he wishes that Cassie would understand
that he is just friends with Stephanie and nothing else is going on. "You're
looking at the screen with far too much intent," Cassie tells him as she
moves into the living room and passes him a cup of coffee. "What are you
reading?" "A text from Stephanie," Jacob reveals to her
as Cassie rolls her eyes to him. "She is upset that you kissed me last night
when you knew she saw us. She wants you to stop playing these games
"
"I am not playing games!" Cassie hisses back to him. "That
woman is getting on my every last nerve!" "Cassie, babe, look
at me," Jacob puts his hand on his wife's leg. "You're my wife, I love
you, nothing is going to change that." Cassie smiles back to him
before she leans in and kisses him on the lips. "I love to hear that, Jacob,
I really do." "Good, do you believe me?" "Of
course, I do." "Then I'm going to say this one final time, Stephanie
and I, we are just friends," Jacob looks into her eyes. "And that is
something you have to get used too, because I will not let you dictate to me whom
I can and can't be friends with. So, please, enough with these games you're playing,
because you're going to lose more than the game if you keep this up."
The Sugarbowl
"This is somesnow storm, huh?" Kim tells
Tyler as they sit next to one another at the window seat of the coffeehouse, with
two coffees and some pastries in front of them. They had been at the engagement
party together the previous night, and when they woke up this morning, they felt
too lazy to make breakfast, so they found themselves at the local coffee shop.
"You know," Tyler looks back at his fiancé. "Weather
like this never feels good to me. It brings back so many memories of
"
"The ice storm?" Kim finishes his sentence as they lock eyes with
one another, knowing that during the ice storm a Robertson Enterprises semi-truck
smashed into Kim's vehicle which left their son, Blake, braindead. "I can't
help but think about it too." Tyler smiles back to her. "Have
I told you how much that I am glad that we have reconnected, Kim? We
we've
been to hell and back together, and that's part of why this feels so good."
Kim leans over and kisses him softly on the lips. "I couldn't agree more,"
she winks back to him once their lips part ways. "And that's why I agreed
to be your wife." Behind them, Robbie approaches them with a coffee
in his hand. "I
I'm sorry for interrupting," he announces as Kim
and Tyler turn and look at her former husband. "Tyler, Kim told me the good
news, congratulations." "Thanks man," Tyler smiles back
to him, knowing that it must be salt in the wound to Robbie knowing that he is
marrying Kim. "Kim has made me the happiest man in the world." "She
told me last night at the party," Robbie tells him. "I am
I am
in a very good place right now with Bobby being in my life, so I can only ask
the same for Kim. But
if you hurt her, you will answer to me." "Don't
worry about that," Tyler grins ack at him. "I have no intention of hurting
the woman I love. I did hear that you have a son now, so congratulations to you."
"Yea, thanks," Robbie uneasily nods back to him. "He's the
best thing in the world. I'm
well, never mind." "No, what
is it, Robbie?" Kim asks him in concern. "Is something wrong with baby
Bobby?" "Nah, he's fine," Robbie shakes his head back to
her. "It's his mother that I'm worried about. Something is going on with
Madeline, and I, for the life of me, can't figure it out, but I have too, for
my son's sake," he reveals to her as Kim and Tyler uneasily look at one another,
wondering what could be going on with Madeline. The Calimo Cabin
Sophie slowly walks down the stairs of the Calimo cabin, wrapping her robe
around her waist tighter as she does. She stops at the base of the stairs and
looks out of the window; more heavy snow is falling from the sky, which means
the chances of her getting a cell phone signal are slim to none. She sighs because
she had hoped that Meggan's text message to Logan would have gone through and
he would have been able to come to the cabin. She still wants to tell him that
she is pregnant with his child, especially since what happened the previous night.
She thought Meggan had taken a glass of wine to a bubble bath, so Sophie took
the chance to dump the rest of the wine down the drain as she didn't want Meggan
drinking. However, Meggan stopped her, and took the bottle from her. Sophie got
rattled and went to bed, but she knows that she will have to explain herself to
Meggan this morning. "Well, good morning," Meggan announces
as she comes out of the kitchen with a coffee in her hand. "There is bacon,
eggs, and coffee in the kitchen if you'd like some." "Thanks,
I am hungry," Sophie looks back at her. "And there is Irish
Cream for the coffee, if you wish, I'm having some in mine," Meggan reveals
to her as Sophie looks back at her in surprise. "You never stop drinking,
do you?" she asks her in a huff. "You know, that's part of the reason
why I was going to dump that wine last night; you
you drink way too much!"
"Don't you dare start with me, little girl," Meggan looks back at
her before she takes a sip of her drink. "You, you mind your business, do
understand me? And if I ever, ever, see you threaten my liquor supplies again,
this little trip of ours, it won't end well." "You're threatening
me now?" "I'm warning you," Meggan glares back at her.
"You mess with my booze, and you mess with me, and that is not something
you want to do." The Davenport House; Trenyce, BJ, & Tinah's
Home
Daisy sits in her car holding her phone. She was up all night
waiting to hear back from Cheresa, who had left her a voicemail expressing concern
about Dawn. Daisy had told Cheresa that she thought something might have happened
while Dawn was visiting the prison for her report that she was working on the
hospital. She called Cheresa back, but she still hasn't heard back from
her, which is unlike Cheresa. She knows that if Cheresa was truly worried about
Dawn, she would have called Daisy back immediately. So, this morning she
drove to Trenyce's house and she has been waiting about 10 minutes now trying
to gain the courage to go and knock on the front door. Memories of the previous
night at her engagement party to Andrew are haunting her, where Chris asked her
if she switched the DNA test results to show that Tinah was his, not Andrew's,
child. Daisy admitted the truth, which caused Andrew to rush out and Trenyce slapped
her. "But if Cheresa needs us, Trenyce needs to know," Daisy
whispers to herself. "She'll understand that this is more than just our fractured
relationship; she has too." Daisy opens the car door and rushes to
the front door, desperate to get out of the heavy snow fall. She rings the doorbell.
Trenyce opens the door and glares back at her Aunt. "What the hell do
you want?" "It's about Cheresa," Daisy replies to her.
"Please Trey, let me in, your daughter
she might need us."
The Dockside Storage Units Cheresa looks at Dawn in horror
as she just admitted that she was the one that kidnapped her and tied her up in
the chair in the locker room. Cheresa's mind tries to figure out why Dawn is doing
this. "You
you did this?" Cheresa's lower lips quivers
in fear. "Why? Dawn why did you do this to me?" Dawn chuckles
back to her. "God, has anyone told you that you're noisy? Does it matter?
I did it! Okay! I did it!" "Yes, it matters!" Cheresa yells
back at her. "We love one another! Why
why would you do this? Tell me,
Dawn! I demand to know! I demand to know what the hell is going on here!?"
