Jarrod
uneasily looks back at Nicholas as they continue to face one another in the restaurant
with two cocktails in front of them. He is glad that Nicholas has agreed to meet
with him because he knows that Nicholas was rattled when Melissa revealed that
Jarrod was alive right before Nicholas was going to marry Andy. Jarrod and Melissa
faked his death years ago and now, Nicholas is asking him why he thought pretending
to be dead was the better option instead of them working through his HIV diagnosis
together. "You're not saying anything," Nicholas finally breaks
the awkward silence between them. "Tell me, Jarrod, why did you want to fake
your death? If you loved me as much as you claimed too, why would you want me
to think that you were dead?" Jarrod feels his eyes swell with water
hearing the pain in Nicholas' voice. "I know what I did was awful,"
he whispers back to him. "The
the truth is
it was not easy for
me to do this, not at all. I can't make any excuses for what I did, I am not that
person." "I'm not asking for excuses," Nicholas replies
to him. "But I still need to understand what happened. My heart
it was
shattered, Jarrod." "I know, I know," he shakes his head
back to him. "At the time that I was diagnosed with HIV, there wasn't the
medical advancements that there is today. It was still, basically, a death sentence.
Remember, I started getting sicker." "I remember. I was right
by your side." "Yea, you were," Jarrod continues to get
choked up. "You went out to get some groceries or something, and your mother
stopped by. Melissa, she told me that I was being selfish for putting you through
my disease. She told me that it would be better for me to die sooner than later
instead of letting you see me go through the disease." "My God,"
Nicholas gasps back to her. "That woman has no morals." "I
still went along with it," Jarrod tells him. "I should have been stronger
and stood up to her; I should have told her that I wanted you by myside. Instead,
my insecurities arose and I listened to her. So, we came up with a plan to where
I would flatline, and she sent me to New York in an apartment, where she had medical
staff take care of me. You have to understand, when I left to New York, I thought
I was going there to die. I never thought that I would recover, and now, I am
undetectable. It's
.it's a miracle in many ways." "This
is so hard to wrap my head around," Nicholas admits to him, as he feels his
head spin out of control. "My mother
I hate her for what she's done!"
"I guess now that you know the story," Jarrod locks eyes with his
former lover. "My question is, can you forgive me? I am so sorry, Nicholas.
I really am. After all this time, do you think you'll be able to forgive me?" | |

The Calimo Mansion
Tyler
moves closer to Madeline and caresses her hand softly. He is visiting his friend
because Robbie had indicated to him, and Kim, and Madeline was struggling. He
just asked her what she is struggling with, because in his mind, she has everything
she has wanted: Robbie and his baby boy. "I am sorry to hear that
you're struggling, Madeline," Tyler whispers back to her. "But I want
you to remember something." "What's that?" Madeline's lower
lip quivers back to him. "Everything that we were working towards,
it's happened," he reminds her quickly. "I am engaged to Kim, we are
planning a wedding and we couldn't be happier. And you, you are living with Robbie
in this beautiful mansion, and you have his son. I know you said that you two
are fully reunited yet, but I believe it is only a matter of a time."
"I know all of that," Madeline looks back at him. "It's just
"
"It's just what? What is going on with you, Madeline?" Tyler asks
her, still confused by what she could be struggling with. "It's hard
to explain," Madeline admits to him. "It's a form of postpartum, I think.
But
" "Oh, I'm sorry," Tyler tells her. "I had
I
had no idea. Have you seen a doctor?" "No!" Madeline explains
to him. "It's not that simple
." "I don't understand,"
Tyler admits to her. "You have to explain this, Madeline. Because the more
we talk about this, the more I am completely lost as to what is going on with
you." The Richardson Estate; Meggan, Donovan, & Logan's Home
Logan
continues to pace back and forth in the living room of his family home as he continues
to wonder if his drinking has pushed Sophie away from him. He knows that he does
enjoy a drink but when Sophie suggested that maybe it was getting out of control,
he snapped at her and told her to leave him alone and to mind her business. Since
then, he hasn't heard from her, and he is worried that he upset her to the point
where she is ghosting him. He rushes over to his phone when he hears an
incoming text message. He hopes that it is from Sophie, but he realizes that it
is from his mother. "Heading to the Calimo cabin to destress from
Lukas," he reads the message out loud. "Sophie is coming with me; you
should join us?" He sighs to himself, realizing that the cabin doesn't
always the best cell service, which is why Sophie likely hasn't responded to his
messages. "Mom sent this message a couple days ago," he whispers to
himself. "I
I better head up to the cabin and make sure that everything
is okay," he tells himself as he rushes towards the door." The
Calimo Cabin
Heavy snowfall continues as Sophie walks around the grounds
of the Calimo cabin. She left the cabin to go for a walk because she couldn't
handle Meggan's drinking anymore; the fact that she brought alcohol to the cabin,
and has been drinking all day, every day, is a concern for Sophie. She has been
trying to tell Logan that she is pregnant with his baby, but every time she has
tried, he, also, has been drinking, so she hasn't felt like alcohol has been a
good influence on him, because of Meggan. "I
I had to get out
of there," she says as the blizzard continues. "But this storm is intense.
I
I don't think I can stay out here too much longer." She turns
around and realizes that the footprints have already been filled by the snow.
"Okay, which way back to the cabin?" she asks herself quickly. "This
is your family cabin, you know your way around here." "I'll
just turn around," she whispers to herself as she start to feel colder. "I
need to get back to the cabin." As she starts to walk, she doesn't
see a tree branch on the ground. Her foot goes underneath the branch, and Sophie
trips and falls! As she does, she hits her head on a rock, which causes her to
be knocked unconscious. Blood leaves the cut on her head, turning the snow around
her red, and slowly, her body starts to get covered in the falling snow. ***
Meanwhile,
inside the cabin, Meggan takes another swig of her red wine as she paces back
and forth inside the cabin. She looks at her watch and realizes that Sophie has
been gone on her walk for a long time now. She moves to the window at the front
of the living room and looks outside, seeing the blizzard continue to rage outside.
"She shouldn't be out there in this weather," Meggan tells herself
as she takes another sip of wine. "I
I should go find her and tell her
to come back inside. She can warm up by the fire." She finishes her
wine before she grabs her jacket and prepares to brace herself for the storm.
"Okay, if I was Sophie, where would I have walked too?" she asks
herself as she puts her toque on and opens the door to the cabin. The
Davenport House; Trenyce, BJ, & Tinah's Home "If this is
true," a panicked Trenyce looks at Daisy as she grabs her jacket and puts
it on. "Then we have to find Cheresa immediately; there is no telling what
Dawn could do!" Daisy nods back to her niece in agreement as she
just finished sharing her theory that she suspects that Tara might have brainwashed
Dawn while she was visiting her in the prison months earlier. This would explain
why Cheresa thought that Dawn was acting strangely and had been concerned about
her. Daisy knows that if her theory is correct, and Cheresa is missing, Dawn could
be behind it. "I agree, but how the hell are we going to find them?"
Daisy asks her quickly. "Like I said, Cheresa, she hasn't responded to any
of my messages or phone calls." "Have you tried Dawn?"
"It goes straight to voicemail as well," Daisy nods back to her.
"I
I don't know what else we can do?" "We could go
to Simona for help?" Trenyce suggests back to her Aunt. "The
woman that sent me to prison for a crime I didn't commit?" Daisy asks her
back with an arched eyebrow. "I don't trust her judgement, and to be fair,
Cheresa hasn't been missing long enough for the police to do something; and, by
then, it might be too late." "Wait, I have an idea," Trenyce
tells her as she grabs her phone. "I have Dawn on my 'Find my Friends' app.
I can see where she is." "Oh, great idea!" Daisy moves
closer to her to see her screen. "She's at the Dockside storage lockers,"
Trenyce reveals to her. "She took Cheresa to the same place that Tara held
her hostage!" "Come on, I'll drive," Daisy says as they
rush towards the front door, hoping that they will get to Cheresa in time.
The Dockside Storage Lockers
Cheresa, who is still tied to a
chair in the middle of the Lawson storage locker, looks up at Dawn in horror,
as her girlfriend just admitted that she killed Chantel. She can't believe that
this is happening; she doesn't understand what could have made Dawn snap like
this. The woman that she has been in love with for years is not a murderer, but
here she is, telling her that she killed Chantel, and that she wants to kill her
next. "What do you mean?" Cheresa tries to make her voice not
crack. "You killed Chantel? Why
why would you do that?" "Why
do you think?" Dawn sneers back at her. "She was trying to come between
us! I was not about to lose you, not to that whore." Cheresa shakes
her head in confusion. "This doesn't make any sense? You were getting those
threatening text messages? How were you getting those if they weren't coming from
Chantel?" "Oh my God, you're stupid," Dawn chuckles back
to her. "The burner phone you found in our room; there's an app on it that
allows text messages to be written and sent out at different times. I would write
the messages and send them when we are together, or when I knew you were about
to see me. I made it appear that Chantel was behind it, when she's been dead for
months already." "What has happened to you?" Cheresa asks
Dawn in shock by her admission. "Where did the Dawn that I fell in love with
go?" "I'm right here," Dawn smirks back to her. "And
now, back to our regular scheduled programming." "Dawn, please,"
Cheresa pleads with her. "You
you don't have to do this
.I
I
can't get you help." "It's too late for that," Dawn smirks
back at her. "It's time, Cheresa. It's time that I kill you!" Next
