Previously on One Day at a Time
- Logan drove a snow mobile to find Meggan and Sophie, who were trapped in a blizzard. Meggan was able to call 9-1-1
- Trenyce attacked Dawn, who knocked Trenyce out. Daisy, however, got Dawn's gun and told her that the nightmare was over
- Madeline stunned Tyler by revealing that she lied to Kim about miscarrying; the truth is, Bobby is Kim's son and Madeline has been raising him!
- Cassie revealed to Stephanie that she knows her secret: she is a transgendered woman!
- Cory admitted to Robin that he and Penny had sex
- Paige told Leah & Jeff she wants to give her baby up for adoption

Twin Peaks General Hospital

Logan paces back and forth in the waiting room of the hospital as he tries to wrap his head around everything that has happened in the last few hours. He, finally, received a text message from his mother telling him that she and Sophie were going to the Calimo cabin and they had hoped he would join them. Meggan had wanted some time away to cope with Lukas' decision to leave town. Logan, despite the blizzard, drove the cabin, but when he arrived, the cabin was empty, but he also saw a few bottles of alcohol that Meggan had consumed. He realized that the women must have left the cabin, which is shocking to him considering the snowstorm.

He knew that there was a snow mobile in the shed, so he was able to use that to get around he grounds, and, thankfully, he found Meggan and an unconscious Sophie. At the same time, using the emergency feature on his phone, Meggan was able to call for help. It was still about 45 minutes before the ambulance arrived at the cabin; in the meantime, he got Sophie and Meggan by the fire, but Sophie remained conscious.

Now, he is just waiting for an update on Sophie and Meggan's health. "If anything happens to Sophie, it will be my fault," he whispers to himself. "Please God, don't let anything happen to either of them, please let them be okay."

The Calimo Mansion

Tyler feels the blood drain from his face as he listens to Madeline explain that she has been raising Kim's baby as her own because she lied to her about having a miscarriage after their car accident earlier in the year. He finds his head spinning at the revelation.

"I…I don't understand any of this," Tyler finally breaks the silence between them. "How is this possible?"

"I…I told you that this was shocking," Madeline looks back at him. "But it is the truth."

"How?"

"The night of the car accident," Madeline explains to him. "Kim was unconscious in her car, I pulled her from the wreckage."

"Yes, I know that! Get to the part where you took her child!"

"Keep your voice down," Madeline warns him quickly before she looks over to ensure that Bobby is still sleeping. "After I got Kim out of her car, I took her back to the Calimo cabin, and that's when it hit me. She was pregnant and I knew that if I acted quickly I could remove the child from the uterus and hide him or her from Kim. She was far enough along that the baby would be need a lot of love and attention, but I could do that."

"So, you what, induced labour?" Tyler asks her in shock, still reeling from the news.

"Yes," Madeline replies to him. "It was very simple. I delivered the child pretty seamlessly, and cleaned everything up before Kim came too. When she woke up, I told her that she miscarried and that's why she would feel some soreness. The truth is, however, I had Bobby upstairs, he was fast asleep and he was so small."

"My God," Tyler gasps back to her. "Do you have any idea the pain that you put Kim through? Do you have any idea what she's been through thinking that she lost another child?"

"That's why I left town," Madeline continues to tell him. "I needed space, but I also needed to give myself time to pretend that I could have been pregnant with Robbie's baby. The fact that Bobby was premature worked in my favor as to why he is so small still."

Tyler glares back at her. "This is insane, Madeline! I…I can't believe that you stole Kim's baby!"

"You can't say anything, Tyler, you promised me!"

"I…I know what I said," he looks back at her with intent. "But I don't think I can keep this secret, Madeline. I…I have to tell Kim that her son is alive!"

"If you do that, you will lose Kim," Madeline warns him. "That's why you will keep this secret, Tyler. Because if you don't, Robbie and Kim will reunite and your entire future will be up in smoke."

The Tower's; The Penthouse; Cory's Home

"It looks like the snow is finally starting to ease up," Cory tells Robin as he moves into the living room of the penthouse that he lives in. Earlier, he finally admitted to her that he and Penny had sex the night of their dinner date. Robin, naturally, was devastated, but hasn't left the penthouse yet because the weather was too bad, and she didn't want to drive.

"Thank God," Robin sighs back to him. "It seems like this has been one of the heaviest snow falls we've had in some time."

"It's true," Cory looks back at her. "Look, Robin, it's late, if you want to sleep here so you don't drive home, that's cool with me. I…I know my news earlier was pretty shocking, so if you want to sleep in the guest room, I get it."

"I will go home," Robin stands up from the sofa. "The fact of the matter is Cory, you told me that you loved me and yet, behind my back, you slept with Penny. I…I need time to get over that betrayal."

"I get it," Cory whispers back to her. "Just know that I never meant to hurt you, and I am sorry."

Before Robin can respond to him, Cory's cell phone rings. He arches his eyebrow wondering who could be calling him at this hour. "Hello," he says into his phone. "What? Is she okay? My God, yes I'll be right there."

"What is it? What's happened?"

"It's Sophie," Cory looks back at her with intent. "She's in the hospital; I have to get there now."

Twin Peaks General Hospital

Paige steps off the elevator and makes a beeline towards the waiting room. She heard from Logan about what happened at the cabin so she came to support her half-brother while he waits for news on Meggan and Sophie. As she walks towards the waiting room, she happens to see Will at the nurses station, so changes her course and heads to see him.

"Hey Will," Paige says as she moves up to him. "Are you looking after Sophie or Meggan? I…I just got here after Logan called me."

"I've seen them, yea, but you'll have to wait for the doctor to give the family the update," he replies to her quickly. "I can't share medical information without the family present."

"Okay, I just hope they are okay."

"How are you? How are things with the baby?"

Paige pauses and looks at her growing stomach. "Everything is on track," she admits to him. "But I have made a decision."

Will arches his eyebrow back to her. "What kind of decision?"

"I've decided to give the baby up for adoption," she reveals to him as Will looks back at her in surprise. "After everything that has happened between you and I, I don't think I should raise this child, but I am too far along to end the pregnancy all together. So, I will give it up for adoption to a family that wants a child."

"I…I don't know what to say," Will admits to her. "I wish you had spoken to me about this first."

"It's my decision," Paige informs him. "I'm just telling you out of respect. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to find Logan."

Meanwhile, in Stephanie's office, her heated confrontation with Cassie continues to unfold. Cassie just revealed that she knows that Stephanie is a transgendered woman, meaning she was born a man, Stefan, and she is threatening to tell Jacob if she doesn't back off her husband.

"I'm warning you Cassie, get out of my office, or I will call security," Stephanie warns her. "And for the record, I don't think Jacob would care about my transition; we are friends, that's all. I don't know how many times I have to tell you that!"

"Fine," Cassie nods back to her. "Jacob might be supportive, that's fair. But what about your patients? Do you think they'd care? I'm just telling you, Stephanie, that if you don't leave my husband alone, I will make your life a living hell."

"I won't let you bully me," Stephanie sneers back at her. "Now, get out of my office, before I throw you out!"

Cassie giggles back to her. "I'm leaving, but remember what I said…Stefan. I will ruin your life if you want me too."

Daisy and Cheresa wait outside of a hospital room still reeling from everything that happened. Daisy realized that Tara must have brainwashed Dawn, which is why she had been acting oddly. Daisy shared this with theory with Trenyce, and they used an app to find Dawn's location. They raced to the Lawson storage locker, where they stopped Dawn from killing Cheresa, who was tied to a chair in the locker room. Trenyce attacked Dawn to stop her from shooting anyone, but Dawn was able to knock Trenyce out. Daisy, however, got the gun and tied Dawn up. Once that happened, Daisy untied Cheresa and they called 9-1-1, where Simona arrested Dawn. They came to the hospital the hospital because Trenyce was injured by Dawn.

"This is taking too long," Cheresa whispers back to Daisy. "We should have heard something about Mom, don't you think?"

"It's been a long night," Daisy replies to her. "We've actually only been here about 10 minutes, Cheresa. It just feels like longer."

"I can't believe that Dawn was going to kill me and all of us," Cheresa's lower lip quivers. "How could she do that?"

"I think it was Tara's fault," Daisy reveals to her. "I think Tara must have brainwashed her when Dawn was working on her report."

"It would explain a lot," Cheresa tells her. "Because she admitted to me that killed Chantel; the woman that I fell in love with, would never hurt anyone."

"We will get Dawn help, and until we do, she's in police custody," Daisy says back to her. "We are all going to be fine."

"I hope so," Cheresa lets a tear fall down her cheek. "I just want this nightmare to be over."

Frederick slowly opens the door to Meggan's hospital room and moves inside. Meggan looks over at her father and gets a small grin on her face, as she wasn't expecting him to come by and support her.

"I heard about what happened," Frederick tells his daughter as he moves up to her. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm fine," Meggan replies to him quickly. "I just hope that Sophie is okay."

"How long do you think she was outside?"

"Long enough," Meggan sighs back to him. "If anything happens to her, it will be my fault."

"Why would you say that?" Frederick asks her. "You didn't force her to leave the cabin."

"No, I didn't," Meggan uneasily looks back at him. "But the truth is, she left because of how much I was drinking. She was uncomfortable and I didn't care. Oh, Dad, what have I done?"

"You'll get through this," Frederick grabs Meggan's hand and squeezes it. "You always do, and now, I'm here to help you, with anything."

"Where is my daughter?" Natasha asks as she storms into the waiting room and sees Cory, Paige, and Logan huddled together. Cory rushes up to his former wife and pulls her into a hug. "What happened?"

"Sophie and my Mom were at the cabin," Logan moves up to Sophie's parents, who exit their embrace. "I'm not sure why, but Sophie left the cabin."

"She left in the blizzard?" Cory asks him in surprise. "Something must have happened…"

"My mom had been drinking," Logan reveals to them. "So maybe Sophie needed a break? I don't know. What I do know is that when I got to the cabin, no one was inside. So, I realized that Sophie and my Mom must have left the cabin, despite the snowstorm. So, I used the snow mobile, and I was able to find them. Sophie…she had been knocked conscious."

"How long had she been out in the snow?" Natasha asks in horror.

"I don't know," Logan admits, as Stephanie moves into the waiting room.

"Hi everyone," the doctor announces. "I'm Sophie's doctor."

"How is she?" Cory asks Stephanie quickly. "What is going on with our daughter?"

"She is experiencing extreme hypothermia," Stephanie reveals to him. "I'm taking her into the operating room shortly."

"A surgery? What kind of surgery?" Natasha asks her quickly.

"It is a blood rewarming procedure," Stephanie explains. "We need to get her warm as soon as possible, so while we rewarm her blood, we will have her covered in heating pads, in hopes of getting her back to a normal temperature."

"Do whatever you can to save my daughter," Natasha pleads her with. "We can't lose Sophie, we can't lose our daughter," she says as Cory grabs her hand and squeezes it.
