the back booth of the coffee house with a coffee in front of him. The latest Katy
Perry single is playing in the background, but Andy is not focusing on music,
but rather his admission to Kim that he is worried that he might lose Nicholas
now that Jarrod is back in town. He knows that Nicholas has been confused about
what his future holds, which Andy understands since Jarrod returning has turned
his life upside down. He looks up from his coffee and happens to see Jarrod
moving into the coffeehouse. He can't help but wonder what Jarrod's thoughts are
about being back in Nicholas' life again. He waves to Jarrod after he orders,
which catches Jarrod's eye. He moves to the back booth. "Andy, hi,"
Jarrod says as he sits across from him. "How've you been?" "Alright,
I suppose," Andy replies to him. "I
I heard about you and Nicholas
meeting to talk. How did it go from your end?" Jarrod nods back to
him. "I think it was a great conversation," Jarrod admits to him. "I
was able to explain to him what happened and he, seemingly, understood and sympathized."
"That's great to hear," Andy forces a smile on his face. "If
I ask you a question will you be honest with me?" "Of course."
"Now that you're back in Nicholas' life, what do you want for your future,
Jarrod?" Jarrod gulps before he takes a sip of his coffee. "I
kissed Nicholas," he reveals to him as Andy's open wider in surprise. "And
I asked Nicholas if he could forgive me and move beyond what happened. Because
if I had it my way, Nicholas and I would get back together and live the rest of
our lives together. I know that's not want you want to hear, but it is true."
"I get it," Andy replies to him. "Nicholas is a great guy,
it makes sense that you'd want him back." "I don't mean to hurt
you," Jarrod tells him. "But I still love Nicholas and would love to
be with him again." | |

The Calimo Mansion
Shane
moves into the living room of the Calimo mansion and sees Sophie sitting on the
sofa with a blanket wrapped around her while she plays a game on her IPad. He
can only imagine what she is thinking and feeling after everything that occurred
while she went to the Calimo cabin with Meggan; she went out for a walk, despite
a blizzard happening, and she fell, which resulted in her having extreme hypothermia.
What no one knew, other than Sophie, is that she was pregnant at the time, and
the ordeal caused her to miscarriage. "How you doing, Soph?"
Shane asks as he moves closer to the sofa and sits next to her. "Can I get
you anything?" "Nah, I'm okay, thanks though, Shane," Sophie
replies to him. "I'm
I'm just resting and trying to not dwell on things
"
"You mean the baby? Your mother told me about the miscarriage."
Sophie feels her eyes swell with water. "It
it doesn't seem fair,
you know? I didn't even have the chance to tell Logan, or my parents, before the
baby was taken away from me." "I am sorry," he whispers
back to her. "Losing a child is never easy. I've seen it more times than
I care to admit because of working in the hospital." "How are
you able to stay so positive being a doctor?" Shane chuckles back
to her. "Because while seeing people go through terrible events, you also
see how strong human beings are and the will to survive. Can I share something
with you?" "Sure." "I had a patient, who was
younger than you, and she miscarried a child," Shane reveals to Sophie. "And
you know what? Last week, I helped her deliver her third child. So, while she
went through something horrific, she was able to pull through and now, she is
the mother to three boys. My point is, you are in pain right now, and rightfully
so, but there will be a light at the end of this tunnel, you just have to trust
it." Sophie smiles back to him as a tear falls down her cheek. "Thanks
Shane, I needed to hear that." The Pink Flamingo at the River
Rock Casino
Max sits at the bar of the restaurant with a cocktail in
front of him as he thinks about how the previous day he went to the hospital to
check on Sophie, but he overheard the doctor discussing that she had a miscarriage.
He was shocked because he and Sophie hadn't been together in weeks because he
was so focused on the custody case. He realizes that it means that Sophie must
have been with another man, which is a hard pill to swallow. "While
I'm fighting for my son, she slept with someone else?" he asks himself as
he takes a sip of his drink. "I guess we were never that close to begin with?"
"Looks like we had the same idea," Natasha announces to Max as she
moves up to the bar. "I need a drink like nothing else." "Rough
day?" Max asks her as Natasha sits next to him. "If you consider
my husband telling me that he wants to move out classifies as a rough day, right?"
Natasha chuckles to him as she orders a drink and then looks back at Max. "And,
I'm sure you've heard about Sophie." "I have," Max nods
back to her. "How is she doing?" "She's at home, thank
goodness," Natasha replies to him. "She will make a full recovery, which
is all that matters." "I will need to stop by and see her."
"She'd like that," Natasha replies to him. "Did you hear, about
the baby, I mean?" "I did," Max whispers. "My heart
goes out to her. I know what's like to lose a child." "I forgot
about that," Natasha tells him. "Thank you, by the way." "For
what?" "Being there for Sophie," Natasha says. "She
needs all the support she can." "And how about you?" Max
asks her with an arched eyebrow. "How are you doing with Shane's decision
to leave the mansion?" Natasha takes a long sip of his drink. "This
will help," she chuckles to him. "I don't know how, but I will have
to find a way to get him back; I can't lose him, not over this." The
Lawson Estate; Cheresa, Dawn, Abby, Ethan, & Georgina's Home
Abby
opens the front door to the Lawson estate and moves inside. She is having a great
morning as she was able to take Olly to school for the first time; since Donovan
spoke to Olly, he has been coming around to having her and Max being more present
in his life, which makes them very happy. They have known that the transition
period was going to be difficult since Olly believed that Donovan and Lukas were
his parents. She moves into the living room and pauses when she sees Ethan
with some suitcases next to him. She sets her purse down on the sofa uneasily
and looks back at him. "What's going on here?" Ethan looks back
at his bags before he looks back at Abby. "I've made a decision," he
replies to her quickly. "Dominick is out of town, and we don't know when
he will be back." "Okay? What does that have to do with you
and these bags?" Abby asks him quickly. "I'm going to move out,"
Ethan reveals to her as her eyes open wider in surprise. "I'm going to move
into Dominick's townhouse with Georgina for the time being." Abby
feels the blood drain from her face. "But why? Where is this coming from?"
"We've been talking about this," Ethan admits. "I am tired
of feeling like a second fiddle in this transition period with you learning that
Olly is alive. And so while you continue to have this learning curve, Georgina
and I will stay at Dominick's." "I don't want you to go,"
Abby protests. "Especially not Georgina!" "I am going to
be with her," Ethan says back to her. "If she stays here, she will be
alone with the nanny every time you're with Max and Olly, and that's not fair."
"Ethan, please
" "You know where to find us,"
Ethan looks back at her. "This is for the best, for now, Abby, but it doesn't
mean we can't get through this
I think it's best if we just have some space
right now." Abby feels her heart break inside her chest as Ethan
grabs some of his bags and leaves the living room. She covers her mouth as tears
fill her eyes, wondering if she and Ethan will make it through this, and how she
is going to handle losing another one of her children. Roboto
"Have
you seen the latest numbers from Robertson Enterprises after the RELax launch?"
Kim asks Robbie as she moves into the main office at Roboto. She is holding some
files in her hands, which are reports showing her how success the bath line has
been for their rival company. She knows that they will have to work together to
create a new line that will help regain some market share that they have lost.
"I was going to look at that this morning, but I've been pretty slow
moving today," he admits to her as he moves to the bar and pours himself
a cup of coffee. "Oh? Long night?" Kim asks her former husband
quickly. "You can say that," Robbie admits as he takes a sip
of his coffee as he recalls how he heard Madeline having a nightmare, and when
he spoke to her, she told him that he belonged with Kim and she tried to leave
the mansion. Once she calmed down, she admitted that she was struggling and would
try to get some help. "What's going on, Robbie? You can talk to me."
"It's Madeline," Robbie sighs back to her. "She's
.she's
not doing well, to the point that she is trying to push me away." "What?
Kim gasps back to him quickly. "Do you have any idea of what is going on
with her?" "I
I don't know for sure," Robbie continues
to sigh. "I suspect it is a form of postpartum, but without getting her a
diagnosis, I can't be sure." "I'm sorry Robbie," Kim tells
him as she moves closer to him. "I know that you're thrilled to have a son,
finally, but it has to be difficult to see Madeline go through this."
"It is, but I am determined to help her," Robbie looks back at her.
"I won't let her go through this alone." The Calimo Mansion
Tyler
waits in the foyer of the Calimo mansion as he waits for Rosario to fetch Madeline
for him. He hasn't been able to stop thinking about the secret that Madeline shared
with him: that she stole Kim's baby the night of their car accident. She induced
Kim's labour, kept baby Bobby in another room, and when Kim woke up, told her
that she miscarried. From that point, Madeline has been raising Kim's baby as
her own, but has been struggling with some twisted form of postpartum as a result.
"Rosario told me that you were here," Madeline says as she moves
downstairs. "What brings you by?" "I had to see you,"
Tyler admits to her in a whisper while they hug quickly. "I
I haven't
been able to stop thinking about what you told me, Maddie." Madeline
looks at him in surprise as they exit their embrace. "You
you told me
you'd keep that secret." "And I have
so far
"
"Tyler, please," Madeline pleads with him. "You can't tell
anyone what I told you." "I'm trying, but my God, it's killing
me Madeline," Tyler admits to her. "Having to lie to my fiancé
it's
torture." "You know why you have to do that," Madeline
reminds him. "If you tell Kim the truth, you will lose her." "Do
you even want to be a mother to Bobby?" Tyler asks her quickly. "Because
the other night, you could barely look or touch him, and he's supposed to be your
son!" "Yes, I'm struggling to connect with him," Madeline
whispers back to him. "But I will get better. I have too
I have no choice."
"We do have a choice though
" "No," Madeline
shakes her head back to him. "This is our future, Tyler. You have to keep
this secret. You have too." The State Prison
Cheresa
sits behind some plexiglass in the vistors area of the state prison. She takes
a deep breath as she is waiting to see someone; she just hopes that her visit
will finally get her some answers that she needs as she is still trying to determine
what could have made Dawn snap and go crazy. She knows that Daisy suggested
that Tara brainwashed Dawn while she was working on her report for the hospital.
Cheresa knows that it would make sense, since everything odd started happening
after Dawn was visiting the jail. It is when Chantel disappeared, and Dawn claims
she killed Chantel; it is also the time when Dawn started receiving the threatening
text messages. It was more shocking to her to find out that Dawn had been sending
herself the text messages in hopes of keeping everyone off her own trail for killing
Chantel. "I will find out what is going on with you Dawn," she
whispers to herself. "Your future, our future, depends on it." Suddenly,
she sees the inmate that she is visiting approaching her seat on the other side
of the plexiglass. Cheresa picks up the phone. "Hello Tara,"
Chersea says to her kidnapper. "It's been a while, but I think we need to
have a talk, don't you?" Next on One Day at a Time - Max
confronts Sophie - Cheresa and Tara have a heated discussion - Leah and
Jeff face off | |
