The Lawson Estate; Abby, Cheresa,
& Dawn's Home
"I just can't believe that Tara is back in our
lives after all this time," Abby sighs to Cheresa as they sit together in
the lavish living room of the Lawson estate. Next to them, a large Christmas tree
is twinkling as the holiday is right around the corner. Cheresa just finished
telling her sister that she visited Tara in the state prison and she admitted
that she brainwashed Dawn, which caused her to kill Chantel, send herself threatening
text messages, and attack Trenyce. "And that she was able to brainwash Dawn.
Do you have any idea what she did, exactly, to Dawn?" "It all
happened when Dawn was working on the report about how inmates are handling their
mental health," Cheresa explains to her quickly. "The times that Tara
was alone with Dawn, she was able to brainwash her." "My God
that woman is insane," Abby shakes head back in shock. "What are the
next steps?" "Well," Cheresa sighs back to her sister.
"I will have to tell Simona what I've learned because this proves that Dawn
shouldn't be punished for crimes because she wasn't in her right state of mind."
"I hope Simona listens because she has a history of doing whatever she
wants to do," Abby chuckles to her. "But Cheresa, how are you going
to get Dawn back? How are you going to de-program her?" "I have
no idea," Cheresa admits to her. "I will have to talk to a doctor, I
suppose. Maybe I could call Dad?" "He should be home for Christmas,"
Abby agrees, thinking about how they miss Greg
this time of the season. "By the way," Cheresa arches her eyebrow
back to him. "Where are Ethan
and Georgina? I thought that they'd be here." Abby gulps back to
her. "They moved out," she reveals to her. "And trust me, I am
doing everything I can to get them back, because Cheresa, I can't lose another
child; I won't let Ethan just take my daughter away from me." The
Calimo Mansion
"It's beginning to look a lot of Christmas in here,"
Robbie says as he moves into the living room of the Calimo mansion and sees Madeline
putting one final decoration on the large Christmas tree. The fireplace is crackling
with some flames as soft Christmas music plays in the background. "That
it is," Madeline chuckles to him as she looks back at Robbie. "I've
always loved this time of the year." "That's good," Robbie
says as he moves closer to her. "You know, maybe Christmas came at the perfect
time?" "Why do you say that?" Madeline asks him quickly.
"Well, you've been feeling down lately," Robbie reminds her. "You
tried to push me away the other night, remember?" Madeline nods back
to him as she recalls how she had a nightmare because as a voice was tormenting
her about the fact that she stole Kim and Robbie's baby and has been raising him
as her own. It is why she hasn't been able to connect with baby Bobby because
she knows that he is not her child. She has been trying her best but deep down
this is the root cause. That being said, she will continue to keep her secret
because she wants to be a family with Bobby and Robbie. "Of course,
I remember," Madeline tells him. "And you're right, maybe this time
of the year will help me get out of this funk." "I hope so too,"
Robbie smiles back to her. "It is our son's first Christmas; this should
be a joyous time of the year for all of us." "I want that,"
Madeline smiles back to him as she gets tears in her eyes. "More than you
know." ***
Sophie walks down the hallway of the Calimo
mansion. She is carrying a glass of water, which she wanted as she gets settled
in her bedroom. She was there earlier when Max showed up and gave her flowers;
she thought the gesture was sweet until he revealed that he knew that she miscarried
during her fall at the cabin. Sophie, then, admitted to him that Logan would have
been the baby's father, which left him reeling. As she walks past the
primary room, she peers inside and happens to see Shane packing a suitcase with
some clothes. She finds herself knocking on the door and moving inside. "Shane,
what's all this?" she asks as she moves closer to her former stepfather.
"Are you going on a business trip or something?" "Uh,"
Shane stops and looks back at Sophie. "No, I'm not. I'm
I'm leaving
the mansion." Sophie's eyes open wider in surprise at his revelation.
"Why would you do that?" she asks him as she moves closer to him. "Christmas
is right around the corner, and I know it's your favorite time of the year."
"It is but
I guess you'll find out sooner than later, but I told
your mother that I was moving out," Shane reveals to her quickly. "So,
I'm just packing a few things and I will come back tomorrow to get more of my
belongings." Sophie sighs as she sits on the side of large bed. "Let
me guess, this has to do with your father, Louie?
And him having you arrested at your wedding to my Mom?" "It
does," Shane tells her. "But I don't really want to rehash all of that."
"I understand why you're upset," Sophie looks back at him. "My
mom went to Detroit and, basically, brought Louie to Twin Peaks; I understand
why you'd be upset with her." "I appreciate you understanding
that," Shane replies to her. "I just think that some time apart will
do us all some good." "Earlier you gave me some advice,"
she reminds him. "And, so, if you don't mind, I will return the favor."
Shane chuckles back to her. "Alright, I suppose that is fair."
"I know my mother can be a handful," she begins to tell him. "And
I know that this was a situation where she overstepped
" "But?"
"But," Sophie giggles back to him. "She meant well, I believe
that. And so, at the end of the day, don't throw her, or your relationship away,
over something like this. My mom, she loves you, more than anything else in the
world. If you feel like you need time, take it, but I think you would be foolish
to lose a woman that loves you this much over something like reaching out to your
father." The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino Natasha
sits at the bar of the restaurant with a martini in front of her. Her mind is
racing over the fact that Shane is at home packing his belongings so he can move
out; she wishes that she could make him realize that she never meant to bring
Louie back into his life, and she certainly didn't mean for Louie to demand that
he be arrested for killing his mother. She really wanted to find out about Shane's
past before they got married, but that has seemingly backfired, and he remains
furious with her. "Looks like we had the same idea
again,"
Max chuckles as he moves up to the bar and sits next to Natasha, having just encountered
her a day before at the same location. "Martini hour?" Natasha
takes a sip of her drink before she looks back at the younger man. "Shane
is moving out as we speak," she reveals to him. "So yes, I am here to
calm my nerves since I am losing the man that I love with all my heart."
"I'm sorry to hear that," Max sighs back to her before he takes
a sip of his fresh whiskey sour that the bartender places in front of him. "Is
there anything I can do?" "No, but I appreciate the offer,"
Natasha purses her lips together. "How about you? Did you go see my daughter?"
"I did," Max nods back to her. "And she told me that Logan
Richardson was the father of her unborn child." "Yea, sorry
that I didn't say anything," Natasha tells him. "I didn't think that
it was my place." "It's fine," Max says as he takes a sip
of his drink. "It just hurts, you know? I
I thought Sophie and I were
good together. I dealt with a lot of her insecurities, and the minute that I am
wrapped up in my life, she goes and turns to another man." "I
can't excuse what Sophie did, but I do know that mistakes happen," Natasha
replies to him. "Do you think you can forgive her? Or that there is a chance
for you two to reunite?" "I haven't even thought of that,"
Max admits to her. "I am still in shock about the pregnancy, the miscarriage,
and that she was with Logan." "I suppose that is fair,"
Natasha tells him before she finishes her martini. "Look at us; Christmas
is right around the corner and here we are drowning our sorrows! So much for 'tis
the season!" Max chuckles back to her. "You should get another
one and we can continue this," he winks back at her. "Because right
now, you're probably the only person whose company I can handle." Natasha
smiles back to him. "Alright, I'll get another, but only if you're paying."
"Deal," Max tells her. The Davenport House; Trenyce,
BJ, & Tinah's Home
Stephanie pushes Trenyce in a wheelchair closer
to the front door of her house. Trenyce was just discharged from the hospital
following her attack by Dawn. Stephanie agreed to escort Trenyce home, which she
was pleased by. To Trenyce's surprise, her sidewalk has been freshly shoveled
from the snow, which makes her think that the nanny must have completed that task.
"I can't thank you enough for helping me home," Trenyce tells Stephanie
as she opens the door and pushes Trenyce into the foyer. "It is my
pleasure," Stephanie replies to her. "I was finished at the hospital
for the day anyways, so it wasn't out of my way." "Well, I really
do appreciate it," Trenyce says back to her. "Being a mother of two,
I could use all the help I can get." "I thought I heard voices,"
Chris announces as he emerges from the living room with Tinah in his hands and
BJ walking next to him. "Welcome home, Trenyce." "Chris?
What
what are you doing here?" a startled Trenyce asks him as BJ rushes
into his mother's arms. "Hey little guy, how are you?" "I'm
good Mommy!" BJ replies to her. "We missed you!" "Oh
baby boy, I missed you too," Trenyce smiles as she kisses his forehead. "Please
tell me you've been a good boy while I was away?" "Yes, always
Mama!" "Good boy," she says as she looks back at Chris.
"What are you doing here?" "I'm home," he tells her
as he smiles back to her. "I want to put our family back together Trenyce,
and this time, I don't want anything to ever come between us again."
Trenyce feels her eyes swell with water as she had thought that her marriage
might have been over once the truth about Tinah came out. To hear Chris say that
he wants to reunite is almost too much for her to bear. "You
you
mean that?" "I do," he leans down and kisses her on the
lips. "Welcome home baby." The Tower's; Floor Ten; Andrew
& Daisy's Condo Daisy looks out at the expansive skyline and takes
a deep breath as she takes in the view. She just heard from Cheresa, who gave
her an update on Dawn and Tara; Daisy is relieved that her theory that Tara brainwashed
Dawn turned out to be true, because now they can focus on getting Dawn the help
that she needs. What Daisy is also thinking about is her relationship with Andrew,
which has been strained since the truth came out that she switched Albertinah's
DNA test results to show that Chris, not Andrew, was her father. At the
time, she was worried that if the truth came out, she would lose Andrew. Immediately
after, however, she was consumed with guilt, especially after she saw how devastated
Andrew was after learning that Chris was the father. Soon, however, Albertinah
became ill, again, and Andrew was forced to donate more bone marrow to save her.
At the time, Stephanie ran more tests and it confirmed the truth that Andrew was
her father. Of course, Chris asked Daisy if she switched the test results
at her engagement party to Andrew, and she finally admitted the truth. Andrew
stormed out and she only has seen him when they were at the hospital together
waiting for news about Trenyce. "Can you ever forgive me?" she
asks herself as she looks at a picture of her and Andrew in happier times. "We've
been through so much together, this
this can't be the end of us."
Just then, the front door to the condo opens and Andrew appears. Daisy looks
at her fiancé and gets a sly grin on her face. "Hi," she manages
to say. "Hi," he replies to her as he moves closer to her. "I
heard that Trey went home today." "She did," Daisy nods
back to him. "Thank goodness; we can start putting this nightmare behind
us." "I suppose so," Andrew sighs back to her. "Look,
I know we haven't seen a lot of one another since the night of our party, and
it's going to stay that way, Daisy. I
I need time and I need you to give
that to me." "I
uh
of course," she stumbles over
her words. "Whatever you need." "Thanks," he says.
"I just came to get some stuff and then I'll head back to my hotel. And Daisy,
I don't know if or when I'll be ready to talk, so yea, I don't know what else
to say." "There is nothing to say," she whispers back to
him. "Just know that I am sorry, so very, very sorry." Robertson
Enterprises Tyler stands in Victoria's office next to Jeff as he passes
her a file folder with the most recent numbers from the RELax launch. He is still
very impressed that the launch has been so successful; after months of planning,
the luxurious spa line has put Robertson Enterprises back on top, which was the
goal. "These numbers are truly outstanding," Tyler chuckles
to them as Victoria looks at the numbers. "I can't tell you two how proud
I am of the work that you've done." "We couldn't have done this
without Trenyce," Jeff replies to him quickly. "We have to thank her
as well, when she's ready to come back to work." "Absolutely,"
Tyler tells him. "And look, I don't know, exactly, what is going on between
the two of you, and I am not happy that you've cheated on my sister, but despite
that, you two made a great team on this project." "Thank you
for recognizing that," Victoria replies to him quickly. "Because we
are a good team, we worked well together on this plan, and whatever is happening
personally doesn't impact our business." "Agreed," Tyler
says. "Look, I have another meeting, but keep up the great work."
Victoria stands up from her chair as Tyler leaves the office and looks at
Jeff. "Looks like we are a huge hit, huh?" He chuckles back
to her as he wraps his arms around his waist and kisses her. "In business,
yes. Personally, I am not sure. Everyone is furious with us." "Who
cares what anyone thinks?" she asks him. "How'd it go with Leah?"
"Oh God," Jeff groans. "It was the dramatics you'd expect.
But
I did say something that surprised her." "What was
that?" "I told her that I could see myself having a future with
you," he reveals to her as Victoria looks back at him in surprise. "That
is if you'll have me?" Victoria chuckles before she leans in and
kisses him. "I think that could be arranged," she winks before they
kiss again. Next on One Day at a Time - Simona asks Sophie a
