The Richardson Estate; Meggan, Donovan, & Logan's Estate

A new day is just starting in Twin Peaks. Despite the sun shining into the living room of the Richardson estate, the temperature outside is still cold as winter is still in full force. It is one of the perks, if you will, of living in a mountain resort town. Meggan moves into the living room and spies Logan about to add some Irish cream to his coffee cup. She sighs at the sight as she has realized that, possibly, she has been a bad influence on him and his drinking. She knows that he is grieving the loss of his unborn child, which is why he is drinking even more than usual.

"It is early for you to be having a drink," she announces to him, as Logan rolls his eyes back to her.

"Oh mother, goody," Logan hisses back at her. "So, let me guess, you're going to lecture me on my drinking habits? Pot meet the kettle!"

"I know I can't talk because my drinking…it has been a lot lately," Meggan admits to him. "But that is going to stop, Logan. I…I need to get my drinking under control."

Logan looks back at her in shock. The last thing he expected her to say is that she was going to get her drinking under control. "What does that even mean? You're going to have one bottle of wine a day instead of two?"

"I…I don't know," Meggan says as she gets tears in her eyes. "But I want you to tread carefully, Logan. One day you're having one drink and the next it's five…"

"I don't have a problem like you."

"I didn't say you did," Meggan replies. "But just be careful, that's all I'm asking."

The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino

Donovan moves into the restaurant looking to grab some breakfast before he heads into the offices at Robertson Enterprises. He has a million things to do because Christmas was very busy for them because of the successful launch of RELax. In some ways, he still can't believe that Victoria and Jeff started an affair while they were working on the campaign together; after all, his sister was married to Jeff's son, Bryce, for a while, and he knows that Jeff was with Leah, who hates Victoria. He was, however, glad that he was able to spend some time with Victoria and Jeff over Christmas because he can see that they do have genuine feelings for one another.

As he waits for the hostess to give him a table, he scans the restaurant and feels a lump grow in his throat when he sees Sergio sitting a table. Across from the police detective is another very attractive man. They are smiling and laughing with one another; it is obvious to Donovan that Sergio is on a date with someone else.

He sighs heavily as he knows that he, recently, took Sergio out on a dinner date in hopes of mending the gap between them. Sergio is still having trust issues with Donovan because he found out that he slept with Lukas during the custody trial. What is upsetting to Sergio is that Donovan lied to him about it for weeks.

"I can take you to your table now," the hostess tells Donovan.

"Ah, thanks, but I'm actually leaving," Donovan tells her. "I've lost my appetite."

He storms out of the restaurant wondering if there is anything he can do to get through to Sergio, or if he has lost him forever.

At a table, Stephanie sits by herself with some blueberry pancakes in front of her. She is having some breakfast before she heads into the hospital for her shift. As she takes a bite of her food, she can't help but recall how when she was the restaurant a few days before Christmas, she saw Cassie, who reminded her that she knows that she has transitioned. She hates that Cassie is blackmailing her into staying away from Jacob; he is one of her best friends that she's had since she came to Twin Peaks.

"If only there was a way for me to counter this attack," she whispers to herself before she takes a sip of her coffee.

She knows that Cassie has had a long, sorted history of doing unexplainable things to various people. She can't help but wonder if there are more skeletons in her closet. If there was a secret in Cassie's past, Stephanie realizes that she could use it to counter her blackmail scheme.

"I guess I need to find out what you could be hiding," Stephanie tells herself. "Because I won't let that bitch ruin my life."

At yet another table, Bryce and Leah are sitting across from each other. They agreed to meet today because they didn't connect over Christmas, but Bryce is eager to find out if Leah will help him try to find a way to break up Jeff and Victoria as they are both still rattled that they have hooked up with one another.

"How was your holiday?" Leah asks her son before she takes a bite of the bacon that is on her plate.

"It was quiet," he admits to her. "I popped over to see Ethan and Georgina while Abby was visiting Olly. It was nice."

"You weren't with Frederick, were you?"

Bryce gulps back to her. "No," he reveals to her. "Right before Christmas, he got me and Meggan together to tell us that he was leaving town for a while. I…I actually called Dominick to tell him because I got the feeling that Frederick was going to try to find him and Felicia."

"You don't think he knows that they are in Florence, do you?" Leah asks him in concern.

"I don't know how he would have figured that out," Bryce says back to her. "But I wanted Dominick to know because I know they are trying to figure out what is going on with Felicia."

"Did he say how she was doing?"

"Only that she was getting back to her normal self every day," Bryce smiles back to her. "So, I guess, I did the right thing about getting Felicia away from Frederick. He…he must have been drugging her or something."

"He's been obsessed with my mother for years," Leah sighs. "So yes, you did the right thing."

"I'm glad then," Bryce chuckles. "So, I wanted to see you because I wanted to find out if you have made up your mind about Jeff and Victoria; will you help me break them up or not?"

"I'm in," Leah nods back to him. "Whatever we can do to break up that union, you can count on me."

"Good," Bryce says. "Because I have an idea."

"I'm all ears…what is this idea?"

"The money that went missing from your laptop from Robertson Enterprises," Bryce begins to explain to her. "We have to find proof that Victoria was behind that; if Jeff learned that Victoria set you up, there's no way he would stay with her."

"I like it," Leah nods back to him. "But how are we going to prove that? Tyler had an entire team at the company looking into it."

"I don't know that part yet," Bryce sighs. "But this it the key to their undoing."

The Sugarbowl

In the back booth of the coffeehouse, Kim and Andy sit across from one another. Andy has a large black coffee in front of him as he is trying to get over the hangover that he is currently nursing. After Nicholas decided he wanted to give his relationship with Jarrod another chance, Andy fell off the wagon on Christmas day. He is trying to act as normal has he can with Kim because the last thing he wants for her to realize is that he has fallen off the wagon; he wants to keep this a secret as long as possible.

"I wish you had called me and told me about Nicholas," Kim tells her brother before she takes a sip of her latte. "I would have come and spent Christmas with you."

"It's all good," Andy waves his hand back to her. "I…I needed the time alone, if I am honest. The last thing I was feeling was festive and was not in the Christmas spirt."

"That is completely fair," Kim looks back at him. "How are you doing with all this?"

"I…I don't know," Andy admits to her. "I am numb. A couple of weeks ago, Nicholas and I were going to be married, and now…it's a mess."

"I am so sorry," Kim replies to him. "You know that I am here if you need anything, I am here for you…"

"I know, and I love you for that," Andy says. "What about you, how was your Christmas?"

Kim gets a sly grin on her face. "I…I don't have to get into that if you're feeling this way…"

"No, I want to know. It will make me feel better. Please, talk to me."

"Okay," Kim grins back to him. "Tyler surprised me with a gift that I wasn't expecting."

"A man who can still surprise his partner? He's a keeper!"

Kim chuckles back to him. "We took the Robertson private jet to Vegas … and we eloped! I'm a married woman!"

"What?" Andy gasps back to her in shock as he hugs his sister. "Congratulations! I am so happy for you; after everything you deserve this."

"Thank you," Kim tells him. "I am happy. I am so very, very happy."

Behind them, Robbie stands frozen. He had come into get a coffee as he was on his way to Roboto, and he couldn't help but overhear Kim's news to Andy. He feels his heart break inside his chest; Kim, the woman he really loves, has remarried, so any chance that he has to get her back is officially gone. He quickly grabs his coffee and rushes out of the Sugarbowl.

Roboto

Natasha sits behind the large desk in the CEO office of Roboto as she is reading her emails. She can see that Robertson Enterprises had a great Christmas season because of the RELax launch. She knows that she, and her team, will have to come up with something that will help Roboto get back on top; she hates that they outperformed them this season.

"We will get back on top," she whispers to herself. "Daddy would want that, he wouldn't settle for anything less."

Before she can say anything else, the door opens and Max comes rushing into the office. "Natasha, hi," he says. "I have some of those initial prints that you asked for."

Natasha slowly stands up and looks at Max. Immediately, she is taken back to a few nights before Christmas, when she and Max ended up in bed together. He was still feeling down about Sophie sleeping with Logan, and she was upset by Shane's decision to move out of the mansion; one thing lead to another, and they ended up comforting each other.

"Thanks, I'll take a look and give you some feedback," Natasha tells him as she closes the office door. "I'm glad you're here, because I think we need to talk."

"Sure," Max looks back at her. "I'm guessing this has do with what happened between us?"

"It does," Natasha nods back to him. "And the truth is, Max, while that night was amazing, it can never happen again. Our affair, it can only be a one-time thing and no one can ever know."

Max chuckles back to her. "I'm glad we are on the same page because I feel the exact same way," he tells her. "Considering how my mother feels about you, if she ever learned about this, all hell would break loose."

"Good, then no one will ever know," Natasha smiles back to him, relieved that they are on the same page about keeping their fling a secret.

The Calimo Mansion

Sophie looks out of the French doors that lead into the garden of the Calimo mansion. She has a large sweater on and is sipping on some tea. She is still struggling to get over the fact that she lost a baby at the Calimo cabin, but she also can't stop thinking about the fact that she saw Max and Natasha sleeping together. She went to Max's apartment in hopes of extending an olive branch because she slept with Logan behind his back, and instead she saw her mother on top of him.

"Sorry, I don't mean to interrupt," a voice calls out from the entry way of the living room. Sophie snaps back into reality and sees Meggan approaching her. "Rosario told me you were in here."

"Meggan," Sophie looks back at her as she sets her tear down. The last time Sophie saw Meggan, she told her to get help for her drinking or she would press charges with Simona in connection to the miscarriage. "I am guessing you're here because of my ultimatum?"

"Yes, it is," Meggan nods back to her. "I haven't been able to think about much else."

"Alright, let's hear what you have to say."

"I'll do it," Meggan whispers with a huge gulp back to her. "I'll get help with my drinking; I…I realize that I have a problem and I need to get this under control."

Sophie looks back at her in surprise as she wasn't expecting Meggan to admit this. "Really?"

"Yes," Meggan tells her. "I've booked myself into rehab and I will get sober. I…I just hope that you can forgive me."

"This is a good first step," Sophie says back to her. "And I will keep my word, I will tell Simona that the events at the cabin were an accident."

"Thank you," Meggan says as a tear falls down her cheek. "I want to be better; I will be better, and I owe that to you."
