At another table,
Trenyce and Chris sit across from one another with some appetizers in front of
them. Trenyce is looking over her phone and sighs heavily at what she sees. She
puts her phone down and looks back at Chris and forces a smile on her face; the
last thing she wants to do is spend her time worrying about this issue while she
is having lunch with Chris. For the majority of the last year, her and Chris were
on the rocks because of her affair with Andrew and the fact that he fathered Albertinah.
Thankfully, Chris has agreed to try to put that all behind him after he realized
he still loved her after Dawn attacked her. "How was your morning
today?" Trenyce finally breaks the silence between the two of them. "Pretty
slow, actually," Chris sighs back to her. "Being an independent contractor
can be quiet sometimes; I'm hoping once the holiday hangover leaves, I'll be more
in demand." "You're great at marketing, I know that you'll be
busy in no time," Trenyce smiles back to him. "Thanks for agreeing to
have lunch with me today. It's nice to see you without there been some drama hanging
over us." "You can say that again," Chris chuckles to her.
"I did mean it when I said I want us to work on our relationship Trenyce,
but I have to be honest with you, I don't think it will be that easy."
"I know that it won't be easy," Trenyce sighs back to him. "The
fact is, I betrayed your trust, Chris. Just know that I will do anything I can
to get us back to where we were." "That's the thing," Chris
explains to her. "We can't go back, Trey. We can only go forward. We will
never be the same people or same couple as we were. And we both have to accept
that." Trenyce uneasily nods back to him. "I'll do whatever
I have too to make us work." "Do you mean that?" he asks
her as she nods back to him. "Alright, because I was thinking about something
and wanted to get your opinion
" "Uh, sure? What is your
idea?" "Couples therapy," Chris reveals to her as they
lock eyes. "I want us to go to therapy together, Trey. What do you say? Will
you go make our marriage work?" "Of course," Trenyce says
as she reaches over and grabs his hand. "I'll do anything, Chris. And if
you think this will help us, this is the most important thing for us."
The Victors Mansion; Frederick's Lair
Frederick opens the door
to the Victors mansion and scurries inside with a suitcase in his hand. He is
freshly back from Rome, Italy, as he decided to return home because he thought
trying to find Dominick and Felicia in Italy was like finding a needle in a haystack.
He still has his private investigator on the case, and he hopes that they will
uncover a true lead, and then he can head back to Italy. He sets the suitcase
down and makes a beeline towards the living room. He is desperate for a scotch
before he will take a shower. The long flight has left him drained and he just
wants to relax. He freezes, however, when he moves into the living room and sees
Daisy sitting on the sofa looking at her phone. "Daisy," Frederick
says with an arched eyebrow. "What
what are you doing here?"
Daisy stands up and looks at her father before she crosses her arms over her
chest. "Thank God you're here," Daisy looks back at him with intent.
"I need your help, Frederick, and I can't take no for an answer."
Frederick looks back at his daughter with curiosity. "You have my intention;
what can I do for you, Daisy?" The Richardson Estate; Meggan,
Logan, & Donovan's Home
Logan looks at the screen of his phone
and sighs in disappointment. He had hoped to hear from either his mother or Sophie,
but neither one has reached out to him. He knows that Sophie is still going through
a lot because of her miscarriage, but he had hoped that they could be there for
one another. Instead, he hasn't heard from her in weeks and he doesn't know where
they really stand right now. He runs his hands through his hair and moves towards
the bar as he wants to have a vodka. "Do you really need a drink
at lunch?" a voice calls out from behind Logan. He turns around and sees
his father standing behind him. "Dad, what are you doing here?"
Logan asks Jeff
quickly as he puts his hands in his pockets. "Do I need a reason
to see my son?" Jeff asks him with a chuckle. "I have to admit that
I am concerned about you; I don't like seeing you moving to the bar at this hour
of the day." "Dad, please don't lecture me," Logan sighs
back to him heavily. "I'm fine; I'm going through a lot right now and just
wanted a drink. No harm, no foul." "I know but after everything
that your mother has gone through, I don't want you going down that same path,"
Jeff admits to her. "Meggan has been battling alcoholism for years."
"I know that but there's good news on this," Logan looks back at
Jeff, who arches his eyebrow. "Mom, she went to rehab." "What?"
Jeff gasps back to him in shock. "When did this happen?" "Right
after Christmas," Logan explains to him. "I think after Sophie's ordeal
she realized that she had to get help. I'm expecting her to be back in a few weeks."
"That is the best news I've heard in a long time," Jeff smiles back
to him. "Now if I can convince you to not drink so much, everything would
be right in the world." The Sugarbowl In the back
booth of the coffeehouse, Leah and Bryce sit across from one another. Leah has
a hot chocolate in front of her while Bryce has a large coffee on the table. They
have agreed to meet this afternoon because they have agreed to work together to
break up Jeff and Victoria. They are both still reeling from learning of their
affair, which happened at the RELax launch party. Leah, in particular, was furious
with Jeff for carrying on an affair behind her back, especially with the woman
that has set out to destroy her. "How have you been feeling about
our plan?" Bryce asks his mother. He almost can't believe that he and Leah
are as close as they are; for months, they were at odds because Bryce felt like
Leah, and Jeff to a lesser degree, were pushing him, and Ethan, to be a family,
when they just learned that they were his parents. "I would feel
better if we had some concrete," Leah looks back at him with intent. "We
know we want to break up Jeff and Victoria, but we have no ideas on how to do
that." "I think it will be more difficult than what we first
thought," Bryce sighs back to her. "Why do you say that?"
"Because," Bryce replies to her. "If this was just an affair,
it would have ended when it was exposed. Jeff would have been desperate to get
back together with you; the fact that Jeff thinks they have a future together
means that they have feelings for one another." "Please stop
talking, I think I'm going to be sick," Leah rolls her eyes back to him.
"But that makes sense. There seems to be a
connection
God I hate
this
between them." "Which will make this more difficult,"
Bryce tells her. "Whatever we come up with, it will have to be something
that can break that connection. So, we have to start thinking about what that
could be; what could we do that will break them up for good?" The
Young Mansion; Nicholas & Jarrod's Home
"Jarrod, are you here?"
Nicholas calls out as he moves into the living room of the Young mansion. After
he chose to be with Jarrod, and not Andy, he moved out of Andy's condo and back
into the Young mansion. They have been living together ever since as they try
to navigate their relationship again. Jarrod appears from the staircase
and looks at his lover. "I'm here, in the flesh," Jarrod grins back
at him. "You're home early." "Yea, I just had lunch with
my sister, Robin," Nicholas says back to him. "And I wanted to see you."
"I will have to see Robin again soon," Jarrod moves closer to him.
"I would love to reconnect with her." "I'm sure she'd love
that too," Nicholas smiles back to him. "How was work? You'll
have to fill me in on what you're doing now," Jarrod chuckles to him.
"My career journey has been complicated and definitely a conversation
for another time," Nicholas tells him. "How was your morning?"
"It was good, I too saw a friend." "A friend? I didn't
realize you had friends in town already?" "Yea, Donovan Moretti,"
Jarrod replies to him quickly. "We met by accident but he seems like a cool
guy." "I know Donovan," Nicholas replies to him. "He
is a nice guy. I'm glad that you're making connections." "I
could use another type of connection," Jarrod purrs as he moves closer to
Nicholas. "Since you're home early, why don't we take advantage of our time?"
"I love the way you think," Nicholas says as he kisses Jarrod's
lips passionately. Twin Peaks General Hospital
Cheresa moves
into the cafeteria of the hospital and grabs an orange juice from the fridge.
She pays the cashier and moves into the dining hall. She is at the hospital in
hopes of seeing Dawn, but visiting hours in her ward don't start for another 30
minutes. She is still rattled by the fact that Dawn was moved from the holding
cells at the police station to the mental ward at the hospital; she knows that
Simona went on vacation, but she had hoped to be informed by that. Cheresa
happens to see a seat open so she sits there, causing Stephanie to look over and
see the younger woman. "Hi," Stephanie smiles at her. "How you
doing today?" "I will be better once I see my girlfriend,"
Cheresa replies to her before she takes a sip of her orange juice. "She's
at the hospital?" Stephanie asks her as Cheresa nods back to her. "I
hope she gets better. If you need anything, I'm a doctor, I could try to help."
"I appreciate that," Cheresa smiles back to her. "I'm Cheresa
Lawson." "Stephanie Clarke," Stephanie replies to her.
"It's nice to meet you, Cheresa." "Likewise, us sisters,
we need to stick together." "That we do, that we do," Stephanie
chuckles back to her. The Cascade Apartments; Cassie, Jacob, &
Carter's Home Jacob, who is only wearing grey sweatpants, rushes into
the kitchen in the small apartment that he shares with Cassie and Carter. He opens
the fridge and grabs a bottle of water, which he opens immediately and takes a
sip of it. He is reeling from the fact that after he and Cassie had sex, she suggested
that they have another child. It was the last thing that he thought she was going
to suggest. "There you are," Cassie comes out, wrapping her
naked body with a cream-colored silk robe. "You got out of bed quickly, Jacob.
Did
did I say anything wrong?" "No, of course, not,"
Jacob looks back at his wife. "It's just
your question threw me for
a loop." "You mean wanting to have another baby? Why does that
surprise you?" Cassie asks him quickly. "I love you, I love our family,
I love our son; I
I would love to have another child with you, Jacob."
"You made your point very clear," Jacob nods back to her. "And
I understand the piece about your age; it
it makes sense." "Then
why did you rush out of the room? What's going on with you?" "Do
you want me to be honest?" "Of course, I do! We can tell each
other anything, Jacob," Cassie moves closer to him. "We married; please
talk to me." Jacob sighs and looks back at her. "The truth is,"
he begins to tell her. "I
I don't know if I want another child. Not
today, not tomorrow, maybe not ever," he says as Cassie feels the blood drain
from her face. The Claus House; Leah & Paige's Home
Paige
sits in the living room with her large belly present. She is very-pregnant as
her baby is due in a couple of weeks, but her mind more so on the fact that Will
has served her with lawsuit papers in hopes of stopping her from giving their
child up for adoption. The fact is, Paige wants to give the child up because she
doesn't feel like she is ready to handle being a single mom. Had she not discovered
that Will is still in love with Eva, she might have thought they could have raised
the child together, but the fact is, he is in love with her, and she doesn't want
to have a child in this environment. She knows that there is another family out
there that can give her child a better home. She slowly stands up when
she hears the doorbell ring. She isn't expecting anyone so she isn't sure who
could be visiting her. She opens the front door and gasps when she sees Will standing
outside. "Will, what are you doing here?" she asks him as he
moves into the foyer as Paige closes the door behind him to keep the cold, winter
air out of the house. Will shrugs back to her. "I
I don't know,"
he admits to her. "I
I don't like where things are right now, Paige.
I was hoping that we could talk and just try to
I don't know
come to
an understanding?" "An understanding?" Paige shrieks back
to him. "You are suing me to take away my decision over what to do with my
body? What kind of understanding do you want?" Will sighs back to
her. "I wish I knew, but when I think about you, and us, Paige, this isn't
what I want to remember," he admits to her. "I guess I was hoping that
we could talk as adults, as former lovers, to try to make sense of this."
"Here are the facts Will; you slept with me despite having feelings for
another woman, a woman you still have feelings for," Paige grills him. "And
despite the fact that you fathered my child, this is my body and I can do whatever
the hell I want with it; you don't get a say in this! If you can't understand
that, then I'll see you in court." "I am that baby's father,"
he reminds her. "I should have a say!" "No! That's where
you're wrong, especially since you're in love with Eva!" she says as she
suddenly puts her hand on her stomach. "Ahhhh!" "Paige,"
Will rushes up to her in concern. "What is it? What's wrong?" Paige
looks up at him in concern. "My water just broke
I'm in labour!"
