The Tower's; The Penthouse;
Cory's Home
Cory comes into the living room of the penthouse that he
lives in carrying a tray of tea and cookies. He sets the tray down on the coffee
table and looks at Sophie, who is looking at her phone. He smiles at the sight
of his daughter as he knows that she has been through a lot the last few months,
including her miscarriage. He invited her over today to check up on her and ensure
that she is doing okay with everything that is going on. "I have
some tea and cookies, if you'd like," Cory says as he sits next to her on
the sofa. "Thanks, but I am okay," Sophie looks back at her
Dad. "Are you sure? I know double chocolate chip is your favorite,"
Cory chuckles to her. "But I won't press, they are there if you change your
mind. How have you been, and be honest with me?" Sophie looks back
at him with a heavy heart. "I am getting better, I promise," Sophie
whispers back to him. "I still have some bad days, but that's to be expected,
right?" "It is," Cory nods back to her. "I know I've
told you this, but I lost a child once too, so I know exactly what you're going
through, Sophie." "I know, you and Robin
have been really great, thanks Dad." "I just want you to remember
that you have me, you have Robin, you have your mother," Cory tells her as
Sophie rolls her eyes. "Whoa, what was that? Why did you make that face when
I mentioned Natasha?" Sophie groans a little back to him. "Oh,
you know her, there's always something going on," Sophie tells him, but she
doesn't want to reveal that she saw her sleeping with Max. "Anyways, speaking
of you and Robin, how are you two?" Cory takes a bite of one of the
cookies before he looks back at her. He, recently, asked Robin out on a date,
but she admitted that she is still learning to trust him again. "We are slowly
getting back together, I have faith in that." "Good," Sophie
smiles back to him. "Because you and Robin, you belong together Daddy."
Robin's Townhouse "You will have to tell Dominique and
Oscar that I am sorry I missed them today," Nicholas tells Robin as they
sit across from one another in the living room of Robin's townhouse. Nicholas
needed to see his sister because he feels like his life is in chaos right now
and he wanted some advice. However, he knows that his niece and nephew are in
school, so he won't get to see them while he is there. "You know
I will," Robin chuckles back to him. "You won't believe how big they
are getting. I sometimes can't even remember them as babies!" Nicholas
giggles back to her. "That's what happens with kids, they grow up,"
he tells her. "How did you respond to Cory's date request?" "Oh
yea, that," Robin waves her hand in the air. "I told him that I was
flattered but that I was still learning to trust him. He seemed to take it well."
"That's a fair response," Nicholas tells his sister. "After
all, he did betray that trust when he slept with Penny." "Yes,
and I told him that actions speak louder than words," she says. "So,
he will have to earn my trust back, but I suspect he's going to do everything
he can do just that. How are things with you and Jarrod?" "Fine,"
Nicholas replies. "The truth is though, I'm very worried about Andy."
"Andy? Why? Is he not taking the breakup very well?"
"You
can say that again," Nicholas gulps heavily. "He's drinking again Robin;
Andy fell off the wagon after I went back to Jarrod, and it's all my fault."
Robertson Enterprises
Donovan sits behind his desk at Robertson
Enterprises and is typing furiously into his laptop. He is working on the upcoming
spring launch of RELax, which has fallen into his lap since Jeff and Victoria
have been preoccupied with Paige giving birth. Donovan doesn't mind the work though,
he has enjoyed this product line as it is fresh for the company. "Knock,
knock," a voice calls out at the door and Jarrod moves inside with a coffee
from the Sugarbowl in his hand. "I know how busy you are, so I thought I'd
stop by with a coffee for you in case you needed a mid-day boost." "That
was nice of you," Donovan stands up and accepts the coffee from his friend.
"Thanks, Jarrod." "That's what friends are for, right?"
he chuckles back to him. "How are things?" "Things are
actually looking up," Donovan admits to him. "Me and my boyfriend are
seemingly back on track, which is exactly what I wanted." "Hey,
that is good news," Jarrod grins back to his friend. "Congratulations
on that." "Thanks, how are things with you and Nicholas?"
Jarrod sighs back to him. "We are still getting to know one another again,
but Nicholas is pretty preoccupied right now." "With what? Work?"
"Andy," Jarrod admits to Donovan. "I guess his ex is a recovering
alcoholic but he fell off the wagon when Nicholas decided to come back to me."
"Oh my God," Donovan groans. "That isn't good. I've known Andy
for a long time, and Nicholas is right, he was sober for years." "Yea,
it's not a good situation, and of course, Nicholas is blaming himself for Andy's
situation," Jarrod tells him. "I
I don't know what to do or say
to help Nicholas through this." "You just have to be there for
him," Donovan coaches his friend. "Nicholas can't take the blame for
this, but I can see why he would. Just don't leave Nicholas right now, he needs
you." Jarrod smiles back at Donovan and nods his head. "I'll
do that, thanks Donovan." At the doorway, Sergio stands frozen watching
the two men interact. He can't shake the unsettling feeling in the pit of his
stomach at the sight. Barcode
Andy sits at the bar with
a double whiskey in front of him. Despite it being mid-day, Andy is at the bar
drinking the day away. Earlier in the morning, he was able to get an indefinite
leave of absence from the Twin Peaks Sun, so he can continue to drown his sorrows.
He still can't believe that a few weeks earlier, he and Nicholas were on the verge
of being married, only to have Melissa show up and announce that Jarrod was alive.
Now, Nicholas and Jarrod are living their happily ever after, and he is alone
and miserable. It is why he turned back to the alcohol, he just wants to feel
the numbness. "I'll have another double," he looks up at the
bartender before he finishes the whiskey in his glass. "Are you sure?"
the bartender asks him quickly. "You've already had two." "It'll
be my last one and then I'll call an Uber to go home," Andy tells him as
the bartender nods in agreement. Andy has learned that bartenders don't like to
over serve their clients, so he has to keep it in line. After he grabs his drink
he turns around and sees a blonde man sitting alone. He knows that he's too drunk
to sleep with anyone, but he finds himself moving toward the attractive young
man. "Hey, hows your day going?" Andy asks as he sits next to
him. Logan looks up from his vodka martini and smiles back at Andy. "It's
going man, how are you?" "Looks like we had the same idea of
day drinking today," Andy chuckles back to him. "Sometimes you just
need that midday hit, you know?" Logan replies to him quickly. "Trust
me, I know," Andy chuckles. "How about a toast to those midday hits?"
Logan raises his glass and they each take a sip of their drinks, each happy
that they have found someone to spend time with while they drink. The
Davenport House; Trenyce, Chris, BJ, & Tinah's Home Chris and
Trenyce slowly move into the living room of the house that they live in with her
children, BJ, and Tinah. She is grateful that Chris has been able to find it in
his heart to forgive her for her affair with Andrew, which produced Tinah. She
knows that he has taken a lot because BJ is a product of her sleeping with Brad
while Chris was in jail. She is starting to realize that Chris has been through
a lot because of her entanglements, so she is happy that they are still together.
"That was something else, huh?" Chris asks her, breaking the silence
between them. The two just finished their first couple's therapy session, which
he suggested as a way for them to get their marriage back on track. "You
can say that again," Trenyce agrees with him. "I didn't realize we'd
have to share so much." "I still feel good about this though,
Trey," Chris looks back at his wife. "I really believe if we want to
become rock solid again that this will help us." "I agree,"
Trenyce nods. "To be honest, a lot of what you said today made me realize
how grateful I am to have you in my life still." "Really?"
Chris asks her in surprise. "What did I say that triggered that?"
Trenyce sighs back to him. "Well, both of the kids were not fathered
by you," she explains to him. "I realize that I've made my share of
mistakes, and for that, I really am sorry, Chris. I've put through you a lot;
most men, they would have up and left me a long time ago." Chris
moves closer to her and kisses her on the lips. "But I love you," he
tells her. "And I want this to work." "Thanks, me too,"
she says as she pulls him into a hug, knowing that she is still keeping another
secret from him: she saw something disturbing on her phone the other day before
he suggested therapy together. She hasn't been able to shake it, but she also
hasn't found the right time to bring it up, but she knows that she has too because
if she has learned anything, it is that secrets will always come back to haunt
her. Twin Peaks General Hospital
Will steps off the elevators
on the main floor of the hospital and starts to make beeline towards Paige's hospital
room. He is back at the hospital, again, in hopes of convincing her not to give
their newborn son up for adoption. He knows that if she signs the adoption papers,
he won't be able to stop her from giving the child up, but he really wants to
be a father to his son. He hates the fact that he can't just raise the child himself,
but he will go to a Judge if she continues to be stubborn with her decision.
"Will, are you on duty today?" Shane calls out from the nurses station
as he sees Will walking past him. "I'm not, no," Will stops
and moves up to the Chief of Staff. "I'm here to see Paige and my son."
"Ah, yes, I heard Paige gave birth," Shane nods back to him. "Is
she still planning to give the child up for adoption?" "Yes,"
Will admits to him. "I'm hoping she won't, but I haven't had much luck in
changing her mind yet." "And you still have the lawsuit pending,
correct?"
"I do, but I am hoping it won't come to that,"
Will tells him. "Yes, I hope not either," Shane looks back at
him with intent. "Regardless of how this pans out, once the final decision
has been made about the baby, you and I, we have to have a serious talk."
"Uh, okay?" Will gulps back to him. "Am I in trouble or something?"
"Let's talk once you and Paige come to a conclusion, okay?" Shane
forces a smile on his face, before he walks away, leaving Will wondering what
is going on with his professional life. The Sugarbowl
"Thanks
for meeting with me today," Daisy tells Cheresa as they sit across from one
another in the back booth of the coffeehouse. Daisy had asked Cheresa to meet
with her as she wanted to give her an update on the situation with Frederick and
Dawn. "I knew that we had to talk, and it is rather urgent." "Of
course," Cheresa replies to her. "I am hoping that you were able to
connect with Frederick about Dawn?" "He just got back into town,
so I was able to connect with him, yes," Daisy tells her. "He had left
for the holiday season." "I see, well, don't keep me suspense,
what did he say?" Cheresa asks her. Cheresa has been hopeful that Frederick
would agree to help Dawn ever since she was arrested for killing Chantel and attacking
Daisy and Trenyce. Dawn only did these horrific things because she had been brainwashed
by Tara; now, she is in a catatonic state, and Cheresa hopes that Frederick will
be able to bring Dawn back to her normal self. "He said he would
help me," Daisy reveals to her as Cheresa gets a smile on her face. "Under
one condition; I have to help him with something." "What? What
is it?" "That's the thing," Daisy looks back at her with
intent. "I don't know if I can do this request for Frederick; I think
I
think it might be impossible, actually." Roboto
Robbie
sits behind the main desk in the CEO office of Roboto as he reads some reports
on his laptop screen. As he reads the figures in front of him, however, he finds
his mind wandering to the fact that Madeline has seemingly disappeared. He remembers
New Year's Eve when she snapped and announced that everything was a lie; when
he confronted her about it, she admitted that she was in the midst of a break
due to her postpartum depression and she agreed that she would help. However,
the following day, he realized that she packed some of her clothes and she has
disappeared. He hasn't heard from her and he is worried about her, but also for
Bobby, as he needs his mother. "Where did you go? And why didn't
you tell me about this? Or why haven't you reached out to me?" he asks himself
in a whisper. "The longer you're away, the more worried I am." He
pauses when he hears his cell phone ring. He looks at the number and realizes
that it is one of the groundskeepers from the mansion. "Hi Jacques,"
he says into his phone. "Oh really? Yes, thanks for letting me know."
He hangs up the phone and runs his hand over his face. "Jacques was removing
snow from the driveway at the cabin and he saw a light on in the window,"
he tells himself. "It must be you, Madeline. You went to the cabin, which
means I'm heading there. I'm going to figure out what the hell is going on here
once and for all." Next on One Day at a Time - Andy and
Logan continue to drink together - Cheresa pleads with Daisy to help Frederick -
