Dominick's Townhouse
"I know you both wish you had been in court with me," Paige explains
to Leah and Robin as she pours herself a glass of water from the bar in Dominick's
townhouse. She is with her mother and niece and is filling them in on her trial
that she had with Will as he is trying to prevent her from giving her child up
for adoption. She turns to face them after she takes a sip of her water. "But
the truth is, Will got a last-minute court order, and so it happened so fast."
"You know that we both would have supported you," Leah tells her
daughter. "I hate the fact that you had to go through that alone."
"I wasn't fully alone," Paige moves some of her hair behind her
ear. "Ethan was representing me." "I didn't realize Ethan
had taken your case," Robin chimes in. "It warms my heart that
after everything you and Ethan went through together, you could reach out to me
to help you," Leah smiles back to her daughter. "And with him on your
case, I am sure that you will win the case. I believe the Judge will let you make
the final decision regarding the baby." "I hope so," Paige
smiles back to her family. "Enough of that talk, we won't know until the
Judge has made his decision. How are you two doing? Robin, have you and Cory reunited
yet?" Robin feels her cheeks flush as she thinks back to the previous
day when she and Cory, finally, made love again. "We
we are still taking
it slowly," Robin tells her family. "But I do believe we are on the
right track." "That's great news," Leah clasps her hands
together, thrilled by Robin's revelation. "Do I dare ask how you
two are coping with Jeff's decision to pursue this
fling
with Victoria?"
Robin asks next. Leah and Paige uneasily look at one another as they are
both still shocked by his decision. They have no idea what drove him into Victoria's
arms, but they continue to remain concerned. What Leah knows that the other women
don't, is that she and Bryce kidnapped Bryce and held him hostage for a couple
of days, until he agreed to get to the truth about Victoria framing her for the
missing funds from Robertson Enterprises months earlier. If he get the truth,
they hope that it will make him realize that Victoria is not the woman for him.
"I don't think I will ever understand the hold Victoria has had over
the men in this family," Paige sighs back to them. "First Bryce, and
now Dad. I should have known that woman was trouble the way she used me to break
up Dominick and Abby's wedding." "She is a viper," Leah
hisses back. "But don't worry, I am sure that Jeff's eyes will be open sooner
than later." The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino
At one of the tables in the restaurant, Cory and Natasha sit across from one
another. The former spouses agreed to catch up over lunch today because they wanted
to touch base on their daughter, Sophie, who is still going through a difficult
time as she suffered a miscarriage at the end of last year. "You
live with Soph, how do you think she is doing on a day to day basis?" Cory
asks Natasha before he takes a bite of his tuna tartar. Natasha sighs
before she takes a sip of her white wine. "She is very cold with me,"
she admits to her former spouse. "I am not sure what I've done to her but
she barely speaks to me." "Do you think it has anything to do
with the miscarriage?" Natasha shrugs back to him. "I wish I
knew," she says back to him. "I've tried to be nothing but supportive
of our daughter, so I am not sure what is going on with her." "Do
you want me to talk to her?" Cory asks her as Natasha shakes her head back
to him. "Alright, but if you change your mind
" "Thanks,"
Natasha purses her lips together. "I am just hoping that it passes. Which
I'm sure it, especially since Shane
and I are back on track. Hopefully having some happiness around will help her
get out of this funk." "I hope so too," Cory nods back
to her. "And for the record, I am thrilled to hear that news about you and
Shane. I know you had some tough times last year." "That we
did," Natasha beams back to him. "But true love always wins. Like you
and Robin, I hope?" Cory chuckles back to her. "We are getting
there," he winks back to her. "Slowly but surely." ***
At the bar, Will sits next to Josh as they each have a drink in front of them.
Will has a beer and Josh has a martini. They came to the restaurant once the trial
was concluded for the day so they could discuss the next steps. Will just hopes
that the Judge was able to listen to his side of things because the last thing
he wants is to lose his son. "How do you think it went, honestly?"
Will asks Josh before he takes a sip of his beer. "As well as to
be expected," Josh replies to him. "Look, I'm not going to lie, both
you and Paige both had compelling statements on the witness stand. We just have
to hope that the Judge took what we said about you wanting to be a father into
heart and stops her from doing this." Will sighs back to him. "I
hope you're right, I don't want to lose my son." "I know you
don't," Josh replies to him. "But I still want you to brace yourself
for the worst. I'm not anticipating anything bad happening, but just in case
."
"Right," Will gulps back to him. "How long do you think it
will take the Judge to come back?" "A day, two at the most,"
Josh tells him. "He knows that a child's future is at stake, so he won't
delay this." "Okay," Will nods back to him. "In a
say or two I'll find out my son's future
.and mine." One
Day House; Second Level Offices
Ethan sits behind his desk on the second
level of the One Day House. His mind is racing over how court went; he hopes that
he was able to present Paige's case to the Judge in the best light because he
knows that she doesn't want to lose her decision to make what should happen to
her child. "There you are," Abby announces as she opens the
door to his office door. "I've been thinking about you all day."
"You have?" Ethan chuckles as he stands up. "Good thoughts,
I hope?" "Of course," Abby moves up to him and kisses him
on the lips. "Cheresa actually gave me some good advice." "Do
I dare ask?" "It's nothing bad," Abby playfully swats his
arm. "I told her about our tiff and she told me that I should be upset that
you're doing your job and that we don't have to discuss it going further."
"That's all very true," Ethan smiles back to her. "Good,
cause I think that's what we should do. But, I am curious about how it went in
court." "It was intense and, now, the Judge is deliberating.
We should find out in a day or two, I'm guessing," Ethan tells her. "I
hope it goes your way, I really do." Ethan smiles back to her. "Thanks
Abs, I appreciate that. Heck, I love you so much!" Abby giggles back
to him. "I love you too, Ethan." "Then what are we doing?"
he asks her quickly. "What do you mean?" "Let's
get married, Abby. Let's spend the rest of our lives together?" The
Sugarbowl
In the back booth of the coffeehouse, Chris sits alone with
his laptop on the table. He is typing furiously into his computer as he is returning
emails. The perk about being an contractor is that he can make his own hours and
work when he needs too. The last few weeks, however, has been trying to secure
more contracts as he and Trenyce have realized that they are in a bit of a pinch
financially. The last thing Chris wants to do is not provide for his family, so
he has been trying to hustle more. "Damn it," he sighs to himself
in a whisper. "All three clients I reached out said that they don't have
any work for me right now but that they would keep me in mind in the future."
He runs his hand over his face disappointed in himself. "I can't let
my family down," he tells himself. "I have to find more work, I have
too." The Moretti Mansion; Florence, Italy
"How
was your walk to the market this afternoon?" Dominick asks Felicia as they
face one another, along side Eva, in the living room of the Moretti compound.
Earlier, Felicia, and her therapist, went to the market to collect some fresh
pasta that the chef is now preparing for their dinner. "It was lovely,"
Felicia smiles back to him. "The people here in Florence are so friendly."
"It helps that your therapist can speak to them in Italian," Eva
chuckles back to her. "They aren't always so nice to the tourists who can't
speak their language." "I consider myself very lucky then,"
Felicia replies to her. "What did you two get up too while I was away?"
"We actually had a pretty intense discussion," Dominick reveals
to her as Felicia arches her eyebrow. "It seems like Frederick is up to his
old tricks." "What has he done now?" a concerned Felicia
asks him quickly. "The short version of the story is that Dawn Black
requires medical attention," Eva explains to her. "And her family believes
that Frederick is the only one that can help her." "Then why
isn't he helping her?" Felicia asks. "He agreed too, on one
condition. That condition is that you have to return to Twin Peaks," Dominick
reveals to her quickly as her eyes open wider in surprise. "We wanted to
get your thoughts on this." "Leave Florence and go back to Twin
Peaks?" Felicia asks as she clutches her pearl necklace. "Where
where
would I stay? Not with Frederick?" "No, of course not,"
Dominick tells her. "You'd stay at my townhouse. But if you go back, we could
help Dawn." Felicia finds herself nodding back to him. "Then
let's go home," she says back to him. "I'm
I'm better now, and
not only would we be helping Dawn, but it would be so nice to the children again."
"Alright, it's settled," Eva looks at them. "We are going home!"
The Lawson Estate; Abby, Ethan, Cheresa, & Georgina's Home
Helen paces back and forth in the living room of the Lawson Estate, where
she and Adam are staying while they are in Twin Peaks. They returned to town once
they realized how dire Dawn's medical situation was; they still have a hard time
believing that Dawn was brainwashed into doing horrific things, like murdering
Chantel, and attacking Trenyce and Daisy. When they visited Dawn, they were both
stunned by her catatonic state. "You're going to burn a hole in the
floor," Adam finally breaks the silence with his wife as he looks over at
her from the sofa. "Sorry, I just can't help it," Helen explains
to him. "The fact is, I have never seen Dawn like that before and I am worried
that we might have lost our daughter forever." "We have to stay
positive," Adam says as he moves up to his wife and pulls her into a hug.
"We have to fight for her." "I'm trying, I am really trying,"
Helen gasps for some air. Before Adam can say anything else, Cheresa comes
into the living room. She had been with Daisy, Leah, and Bryce earlier to get
an update from them on Felicia coming back to Twin Peaks. If that happens, Frederick
will agree to help Dawn, which they all want. "Cheresa," Helen
looks at Dawn's partner. "What is the latest? Is Felicia coming back to Twin
Peaks?" "The family reached out to Dominick to tell him what
was going on," Cheresa explains to them. "We are waiting to hear from
him." "What is taking so long?" Helen shrieks. "We
have to help Dawn! We can't let this go on!" "We are doing everything
we can," Adam tries to calm Helen down. "Let's just try to stay calm
and positive." "I know it's hard, but Adam is right," Cheresa
agrees with him. "Us getting riled up won't help Dawn. And I believe that
we will hear back soon." "We need to do something," Helen
maintains her stance. "I can't lose Dawn, I won't lose my little girl this
way!" Robertson Enterprises
Donovan sits behind his
desk at Robertson Enterprises and continues to review the latest report on the
upcoming spring relaunch of RELax. He is hoping that the spring launch is as successful
as the winter launch was as the sales were through the roof. It would further
cement the company being at the top and keeping Roboto at an arm's length.
"You look busy and I shouldn't be here," Jarrod chuckles as he opens
the door to his friends office. "I can come back?" "Nah,
you're already here," Donovan stands up and looks over at his friend. "Besides,
I can use a break. After reading reports for too long, my eyes go blurry. You're
a welcome distraction." Jarrod flashes his smile back to him, which
Donovan reciprocates. "What brings you by?" Donovan asks him quickly.
"I
I guess I needed a friend to talk too," Jarrod admits to
him. "Come sit on the sofa," Donovan tells him as the friends
move to the sofa in his office. "What's up?" "I don't know,"
Jarrod shrugs back to him. "I guess it's just a hard reality check that happens
sometimes, you know?" Donovan arches his eyebrow. "A reality
check? About what?" "Me and Nicholas," Jarrod admits to
him. "You know, when we were together, we were young, and it was a long time
ago." "Yea, and now you're back together? Isn't that a good
thing?" "It is, of course," Jarrod nods back to him. "But
we've both changed
a lot
you know? Sometimes, I don't know, sometimes
I feel like there's a disconnect between us, or that I don't really know him at
all." "He doesn't really know you right now either," Donovan
explains to him. "That's why it's important for you to take the time to get
to know each other again. You two can find out who you are all over again."
"Yea," Jarrod gulps back to him. "I
I just hope we still
like one another when we do that." "You will," Donovan
puts his hand on Jarrod's, which causes them to lock eyes. "He'd be a fool
not too." Jarrod smiles back to him. "Thanks, I guess I needed
that reassurance." The Tower's; Floor One; Andy's Condo
Andy
stands in his kitchen and pours himself a vodka. He takes a sip of it and closes
his eyes as he enjoys the burn it creates in his chest. He is celebrating the
fact that Logan told him that he enjoyed their night of passion together, despite
the fact that it happened when they were drinking. He arches his eyebrow
when he hears a knock on his front door. He jumps to the door, hoping that it
is Logan, who has decide that now is the perfect time for them to have sex again.
When he opens the door, however, he sees Nicholas standing in the hallway.
"Nicholas, what are you doing?" Andy asks him. "Can
I come in?" Nicholas asks him quickly. "I don't think that's
a good idea," Andy shakes his head back to him. "I really don't have
anything to say to you, Nicholas." "Andy, please," Nicholas
pleads with him. "I'm
I'm worried about you." "You
lost the right to be worried about me when he decided to dump me and go running
back to your dead boyfriend," Andy spits back to him. "You're
drinking, I can smell it on you." "Yes, I'm drinking!"
Andy shouts back at him. "And there's nothing you can do to stop me."
"Please," Nicholas pleads with him. "Please Andy, stop drinking.
You know that this won't end well." Andy chuckles back to him. "Ironic
because that's just what happened with you and me; it didn't end well. Don't come
back here, Nicholas. I have nothing more to say to you." With that,
Andy slams the door in Nicholas' face, leaving him with tears in his eyes in the
hallway. "How can I help you?" Nicholas whispers to himself,
wondering if he has lost Andy to alcohol forever. Next on One Day at
a Time - Kim continues to bond with Bobby - Victoria tells Donovan her
