The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino

Dinner time has come to Twin Peaks, so the restaurant is buzzing with various citizens as they didn't want to cook at home. Beyond the busy chatter in the restaurant, the typical soft jazz music plays that the restaurant is known for.

At a table in the middle of the restaurant, Cory and Robin sit across from one another. They have a bottle of wine on the table, and they are enjoying their dinner's. Robin is having the beef tartar while Cory is having a smoked salmon.

"I haven't had the salmon before but it is delicious," Cory looks over at Robin before he takes a sip of his wine. "How is the tartar?"

"It's also really tasty," Robin replies to him. "Thanks for inviting me to dinner tonight, I felt like I needed the distraction."

"Distraction? Is something going on?" Cory asks her quickly.

"Just family drama, you know? Leah and Jeff are still at odds because of his affair with Victoria; Paige went to court to try to keep her rights as a mother; and, we are thinking of bringing Felicia back to town," Robin explains to Cory.

"That does seem like a lot all at once," Cory tells her as he reaches over and grabs her hand. "Do you need any support from me? You know that I'm here for you."

"I do," Robin smiles back to her. "And thanks. I don't think there's anything more you can do other than doing what you're doing right now, supporting me."

"I love you," Cory tells her quickly. "I'm always here for you, Robin."

"I know and my feelings for you, they are starting to come back," Robin admits to him.

Cory smiles at the sound of the words that she just told him. "I hope you know that I have no intention of losing you this time, Robin," Cory says back to her. "What we are re-establishing right now, it is forever this time, I hope you know that."

At another table in the back corner, Ethan and Abby are sitting across from one another with some cocktails in front of them. They are still waiting for their meals, but it is giving them a chance to talk about the days events, which included Ethan asking Abby to marry him promptly. He hadn't had anything formal planned, even a ring, but in the moment, he asked Abby to marry him. Abby, however, hasn't said yes yet as she has been concerned about what his family will say as she knows the sordid history between the Robertson's and herself.

"You haven't said much since we left my office," Ethan looks over at his lover. "Penny for your thoughts?"

Abby takes a sip of her cocktail before she looks back at Ethan. "I…I guess I'm just thinking about the proposal you made earlier and how I have told you that I am worried about your family will react to the news."

"I don't disagree with you," Ethan admits to her. "Leah, Jeff, Dominick, Paige…they will all be furious with my decision."

Abby looks back at him with intent. "Furious might be an understatement. Your family has hated me for years, and if I'm honest, the feeling is mutual."

Ethan chuckles back to her. "Look, no one is perfect in these circumstances, but Abs, that doesn't change the fact that I love you. I love you! I want to marry you! I…I really don't care what anyone thinks about, including my family!"

"But I care," Abby looks back at him. "I don't want you to alienate yourself from those who love you most."

Ethan takes a long sip of his cocktail. "That's interesting," he finally replies to her. "I thought you were the one who loved me most, but maybe, just maybe, I've been wrong all along."

At the bar, Jeff and Victoria sit next to each other as they are sharing some appetizers for their dinner. They have a chicken ceasar salad, some calamari, and some chili prawns, and they have a bottle of red wine that they are sharing. There is a tense awkwardness between them as Victoria continues to suspect that Jeff has been lying to her about where he disappeared too for a couple of days; she doesn't believe that he went to on a business trip, but she has no idea why he would lie to her.

"I…I know that you've been worried about me," Jeff finally breaks the silence between the two of them. "But you have to believe me when I tell you that I went on a business trip."

"I wish I could," Victoria sighs back to him. "The truth is, I work at Robertson too, and I didn't know about the business trip."

"I know that," Jeff nods back to her. "That's because, well, it wasn't really business."

"Then what the hell was it?"

"Look, I know you don't want to hear this, but the Robertson's, they are still my family," Jeff replies to her, as he recalls Paige and Leah telling about the situation with Frederick and Felicia. "And Tyler asked me to do something for them, and I so, I did that."

"What did they ask you to do?" Victoria asks him next.

"It involves Felicia," Jeff says back to her. "To keep a long story very short, Felicia needs to be back in town in order for Frederick to help Dawn Black. So, I went to a location, in which I can't say where, to tell Dominick and Felicia about this. And now, they are thinking of coming back."

"I see."

"I wish you'd believe me," Jeff looks back at her before he takes a sip of his wine. "But I don't know what else to say or do to make you believe me."

"I can tell you that this story makes more sense than your business trip story," Victoria tells him. "I…I just wish that you had been honest with from the start."

"I know," Jeff tells her. "I guess…I guess I didn't know how you'd react to me helping Leah and Paige."

"Like you said, they are still your family, despite us being together," Victoria looks back at him. "I…I actually feel at ease because this explanation makes more sense to me. Just do me a favor? Please, don't lie to me again?"

"I won't," Jeff leans over and kisses her. "Does this mean that we can move on from this?"

"I'd like nothing more."

"Me too," Jeff grins back to her. "But before I can do that, I think I have a few questions for you."

Victoria arches her eyebrow back to him. "You have questions? About what?"

"You and my family," Jeff looks back at her with intent. "And what you might, or might not, have done to them."

At another table on the side of the restaurant, Cassie sits alone with a glass of sparkling water in front of her. Her mind is racing over the fact that earlier in the day, she went to the hospital to see Stephanie, as she called her in. Cassie's normal doctor is Cheresa, but she has taken some personal time to help support Dawn, so Stephanie is the doctor who completed Cassie's recent annual check-up, which included blood tests and a urine sample.

Stephanie informed her that based on the test results, Cassie is pregnant, which means that she and Jacob are going to be parents again. Cassie gets a sly grin on her face as her plan to stop taking her birth control worked; however, in the back of her mind, she can't help but remember Jacob telling that he wasn't sure that he wanted more child, now or ever.

"But now that I am pregnant," she whispers to herself. "He will come around and suspect that an accident just happened; he won't ever know that I purposely stopped taking my birth control. And he will see it as a blessing."

Doubt starts to creep into her head about Jacob's reaction and she tries to force them out but she can't help but wonder how he will truly react.

"He will be shocked at first but he will come around," she tells herself. "He has too."

Meanwhile, at the entrance of the restaurant, Stephanie emerges hoping to get some dinner as her shift at the hospital is over. In fact, she is looking forward to a drink as telling her rival that she is pregnant with the man she loves child was difficult on her. She peers into the restaurant and sees Cassie sitting by herself. Immediately, she realizes that she must be waiting for Jacob, and the last thing she needs tonight is to see them together.

"I'll order something at home from UberEats," she tells herself as she leaves the restaurant.

Once outside, the cool air nips her. "Maybe it's time I tell Jacob the truth," she says. "Maybe he needs to know that Carter might not be his son. Maybe it's time Cassie's world comes crashing down around her, the way she deserves."

The Moretti Estate; Florence, Italy

Dominick moves to the bar in the lavish living room of the Moretti estate and pours himself a scotch. He, then, moves to the coffee table and picks up his phone, and dials a number before he puts the phone to his ear.

"Leah, sweetheart, it's your father," he says into his phone with a smile. "I hope it's not too late there?"

"No, not at all," Leah tells him as she stands in the living room of her home. "How are things in Florence?"

"We had another beautiful day," Dominick informs her. "Felica went for a walk to the market and bought some fresh pasta that we had for dinner. It was lovely."

"That sounds nice," Leah smiles back to him. "I am assuming that this phone call has to do with my ask for you to think about coming back home?"

"Yes, yes, it does," Dominick nods. "Listen, I want to be very clear with you that I spoke to both Eva and Felicia about this, and we are all on the same page."

"Alright," Leah gulps back to him, thinking that the worst news is about to come. "What did the three of you decide?"

"We are coming home," Dominick informs her. "We are packing tomorrow and we should be home by the end of the week. So, you can tell Frederick to start helping Dawn because we are coming back to Twin Peaks!"

"Oh!" Leah giggles back to him. "This is wonderful! I…I can't wait to see you three! This is the best news I've had in a very, very long time!"

The Calimo Mansion

Robbie opens the door to the Calimo mansion and rushes inside. He just got back home from the hospital, where he provided DNA samples from Kim and Bobby so they could run a DNA test on them. He recalls how Kim was at the Roboto office earlier in the day, and he took a coffee cup that she was drinking from, and it was easy enough for him to get some DNA from Bobby.

"In a day or two, I will learn the truth," he whispers to himself as he moves up the stairs. "I will find out of Madeline's story is true and if she actually stole my child with Kim, or if she's fallen off the deep end."

His mind is still trying to comprehend the fact that Madeline told him that she induced Kim's labour, delivered her son, but told Kim that she is miscarried and had been raising him ever since. If it's true, he knows that his, and Kim's, world's will change forever.

He moves closer to Bobby's nursery and opens the door but he freezes when he sees Kim in the nursery holding Bobby. For a moment, his heart melts and can't help but hope that it is true: he hopes that Kim is the mother of his son.

"Kim, what…what are you doing here?" he asks as he moves into the nursey.

Kim continues to bounce the baby in her arms before she looks at Robbie. "Hey," she smiles back to him. "I…I stopped by and asked Madeline if I could see Bobby, and she said yes."

"She did, huh?" Robbie asks. "You're a natural with him."

"He's easy to be around," Kim admits to him. "He was fussing after his nap, and when I picked him up, he stopped immediately."

"You must have a way with him."

"Yea, I must," Kim looks back at him. "I…I don't know what it is Robbie, but I feel a connection to your son, I really, really do."

At the doorway, Madeline watches the scene unfold with tears in her eyes. "Please forgive me," she whispers to herself. "But this is the way it should have been the entire time…"

Twin Peaks General Hospital

Tyler quickly walks down a long corridor of the hospital with speed and intent. He saw Robbie, earlier, go into a hospital room, which he knows means that Robbie is having a DNA test run on Bobby, as he heard Robbie get the phone call confirmation a few days earlier at the Sugarbowl. In Tyler's mind, however, he can't let the truth come out because he doesn't want to lose Kim, and he knows if Bobby's paternity comes out, that will happen.

He reaches a secure door that says "Lab Requisitions". He pulls out a swipe card that he took from the nurses station when no one was looking and uses it on the door, which unlocks for him. He moves inside and shuts the door quickly behind him.

He feels his heart racing quickly but he takes a deep breath. "Stay calm, you have to do this to save your marriage," he tells himself. "If you don't, you will lose Kim forever."

He sees a stack of pending tests to be complete. He moves over to the stack and finds Robbie's file. "Alright, it looks like all I have to do is make a few changes and it will show no match," he tells himself. "Let's do this and get out of her. You're mine Kim, always and forever."
