The Pink Flamingo at the River
Rock Casino
The restaurant is still buzzing with many citizens of Twin
Peaks finishing their dinners with some evening cocktails or wine before they
call it a night. At the bar, Logan and Andy sit next to one another, each with
a drink in front of them. They decided to catch up over a couple of drinks, which
they both know could easily lead to many more. "Thanks for having
this drink with me," Andy looks over at his younger lover. "I thought
it would nice to see you so we can talk more about our
.well, you know."
Logan chuckles back to him. "Yea, I know what you're talking about,"
he winks back to him. "Appreciate you being discrete though, I don't want
anyone to know." "I get it," Andy nods back to him. "I
was like that for a long time too. In fact, to hide my sexuality, I even pretended
to my best friend's baby daddy." "Wait, what?" Logan asks
him in surprise with a giggle. "You didn't?"
"I did,"
Andy tells him. "It was a long time ago and, thankfully, I finally realized
who I am and started living my truth." "That's awesome to hear,"
Logan tells him before he takes a sip of his drink. "So, uh, I was
thinking about something," Andy replies to him as they look at one another.
"If you want, we could try that again
you know
" "Sex?"
Logan whispers back to him. "Yea," Andy nods to him. "But
this time, we can be sober. And that way you can actually tell if you like it
or not. If not, not harm, no foul. And if you do
" "We
could do it again?" Logan chuckles back to him. "Just think
about it, okay?" Andy asks him as Logan nods back to him. Meanwhile,
at the entrance of the restaurant, Meggan enters and, immediately, sees her son
sitting next to Andy with drinks in front of them. She arches her eyebrow at the
sight. "Andy is drinking again?" she asks herself in surprise.
"And he's with Logan? Oh no, this won't end well for my son. I have to put
an end to this." *** Cory puts his napkin down on
his plate to signal to the waiter that he is finished with his meal. Then, he
takes a sip of his wine and looks over at Robin as they continue to finish their
dinner together. He is just thrilled that things are, seemingly, getting back
on track between him and Robin as he knows he really messed things up the previous
year when he slept with Penny. "Are you sure you don't want any dessert?"
Cory asks his lover as they lock eyes with one another. "I don't
think I could eat another bite, even if I tried," she giggles back to him.
"How about you?" "I am in the same boat as you," he
admits to her. "Besides, I was hoping we could head back to the penthouse
and
" "Cory!" Robin gasps back to him in surprise.
"Are you suggesting we have each other for dessert instead?" Cory
shrugs back to her. "Would that be so terrible?" "No, it
wouldn't," she winks back to him. "I
I like that idea."
"I'll ask for the cheque then," he tells her quickly. "Before
we leave," Robin says as they lock eyes with one another. "I do want
you to know that I am moving past everything that happened last year with Penny,
Cory. Us spending time together and growing closer, it means everything to me.
And I want you to know that I forgive you, and I just want us to move on from
that." "I want that too," he smiles back to her. "More
than you'll ever know." ***
At the back table, Abby
sits alone with a cocktail in front of her. She and Ethan
had been dining together when they started talking about his marriage proposal
to her; she continued to have fears that his family would not react in the best
way because of her history with them. Ethan, however, told her that he didn't
care what his family, or anyone, thought, but when Abby still didn't give him
an answer to the proposal, he left. She hopes that they are going to be okay,
but she just doesn't know if she can commit to marriage right now. "You
look a million miles away," a voice calls out causing her to snap back into
reality. Abby looks up and sees Max sitting across from her. "Want to talk
about it?" "Max, hey," Abby looks back at her friend. "I
didn't see you come in." "Clearly not," he replies to her.
"I thought I'd come by for a drink before heading home to relieve the babysitter."
"Ah, how is Olly?" "Fast asleep," Max replies
to her. "Which is why I thought a drink wouldn't hurt. So, what's going on?
Why do you look like you lost your best friend?" Abby gulps back
to him. "Because I might have. I think I lost Ethan." "What,
why? How?" "You won't believe this," Abby leans forward
to talk to him. "But he proposed to me tonight." The words hit
Max like a ton of bricks. The last thing he thought Abby would tell him is that
Ethan asked her to marry him. He knows that Abby and Ethan have been together
for a long time, but if he is honest with himself, the amount of time he and Abby
have been spending together with Olly have stirred up some old feelings that he
has had for her. Which makes him realize that the feelings he is experiencing
are jealousy. "Whoa," Max finally replies to her. "But
wait, if he proposed to you
.why do you think you lost him?" "I
haven't said yes," Abby tells him as Max's eyes open wider in surprise. "I
mean, if you think about my history with Leah, Paige, and especially, Dominick,
do you really think that they will be happy about this marriage? Because I don't.
And I don't want that drama in my life. I want to focus on my relationship with
Ethan and my children." "And Ethan was upset that you didn't
answer him?" he asks her she nods back to him. "I mean, Abby, if you
want my opinion, I see why he is upset. He proposed to you and you, well, you
kinda left him hanging there," Max chuckles to him. "I think you have
to tell him one way or another what you want for your future, and if that's not
marriage, then you have to prepare yourself that you might just lose him for good
this time." *** Across the room, in the other corner
of the restaurant, Daisy sits with a glass of red wine in front of her. She is
expecting Leah to arrive anytime to give her an update on her request to have
her bring Felicia back to Twin Peaks. Daisy knows that Frederick will only help
Dawn come out of her brainwashed state if Felicia is back in town, which is why
Daisy asked Leah and Bryce to talk to the Robertson's about this happening. She
just hopes that Dominick has agreed to come back to Twin Peaks because Cheresa
feels like she is losing hope with Dawn. "Sorry I'm late," Leah
announces as she arrives at the table and sits across from Daisy. "I hope
you weren't waiting too long." "Not at all," Daisy replies
to her with pursed lips. "And it gave me an excuse to order a glass of the
Merlot, it is one of my favorites." "Me too," Leah chuckles
back to her. "So, I am going to assume that you have an update on
Dominick and Felicia? Have you spoken to them since you first told him what was
going on?" "I actually got a call from my father earlier this
evening," Leah tells her quickly. "And, he has agreed to bring Felicia
back to Twin Peaks. So, you can tell Frederick that he can start to help Dawn,
because by the end of the week, my father and mother should be home."
"Oh my goodness," Daisy gasps as she covers her mouth. "Thank
you, Leah. Thank you so much. Cheresa is going to be thrilled by this news!"
The Tower's; Floor Eight; Victoria's Condo
"I thought we
could finish our conversation in private," Jeff tells Victoria as he comes
into the living room of her condo with two glasses of red wine. They had been
having a late dinner at the Pink Flamingo, where Jeff revealed to Victoria that
he didn't go on a business trip when he was away for a couple of days, instead,
he lied to her and told her he went to talk to Dominick and Felicia about helping
Dawn. He knew this story would land better, which it did because she believed
him. He knows that he can't tell her the truth: that Leah and Bryce kidnapped
him and held him hostage until he would agree to help them figure out if Victoria
was the one who framed Leah at Robertson Enterprises all those months ago. Jeff
and Victoria, then, agreed to move forward, but he told her that he had some questions
for her. "Thanks for the wine," Victoria tells him as he sits
next to her. "And you said you had some questions for me? I guess you want
answers before we could move forward?" "That's right,"
Jeff nods back to her as he takes a sip of his wine and looks back at her.
"I am curious," Victoria says with a chuckle. "What questions
could you have? I think I've been an open book with you?" "You
have," Jeff agrees with her. "There's just always been something in
the back of my mind, and I thought since I had to come clean with you, you could
do the same with me?" "What has been in the back of your mind?
I'm scared." "There's no need to be scared," Jeff chuckles
back to her. "I just want you to be honest with me." "Sure,"
Victoria takes another sip of her wine as she braces herself for what is coming
next. "Well, as we know, Leah was fired from Robertson Enterprises,"
Jeff begins to tell her as Victoria nods back to her. "Because of that missing
or stolen funds from the offshore account." "I remember,"
Victoria nods back to him. "Tyler had that internal investigation which came
up with nothing other than that Leah took that money." "Yea,"
Jeff continues. "But the truth is, I don't believe that Leah would have ever
stolen from her family's company. And I know you and her have a heated history
because, at the time, she was furious that you were married to Bryce."
"I don't know what you're getting at," Victoria tells him quickly.
"Did you set Leah up? Did you frame her? Did you make it look like Leah
stole that money so you could get out of the company?" Jeff asks her as Victoria
looks back at him in absolute shock. The Lawson Estate; Abby, Ethan,
Cheresa, & Georgina's Home
"Thanks so much for letting me
stop by, I
I didn't want to go home yet," Stephanie tells Cheresa as
the friends sit next to one another on the sofa in the living room of the Lawson
mansion. Stephanie had hoped to grab dinner at the Pink Flamingo, but when she
arrived, she saw Cassie sitting by herself. Stephanie assumed that Cassie was
waiting for Jacob to tell her the big news: she is pregnant with his baby. The
last thing that Stephanie wanted was to see them together, so she asked Cheresa
if she could come by. "I get that," Cheresa looks back at her
friend. "And to be honest, I'm glad that you did. I
I could use the
distraction from Dawn and her parents." "There's been no change
with her?" Stephanie asks her quickly. "None, and while I love
her parents, being around them all the time is wearing thin," Cheresa chuckles
back to her. "I thought they were staying with you?" "Oh,
they are," Cheresa nods back to her. "But they went to bed hours ago."
"Ah, well I do hope that things get better for you and Dawn soon,"
Stephanie tells her. "I'm here if you need anything." "Thanks,
I really appreciate that. What's going on with you? Why didn't you want to go
home?" Stephanie arches her eyebrow back to her. "You know that
there was that thorn in my side?" "You said that you cared for
a guy but he is taken but the woman he's with isn't exactly ideal," Cheresa
recalls their previous conversation. "That's right," Stephanie
nods back to her. "The truth is, I found out something about her that could
really change the dynamic of their relationship." "Then tell
him?" "I could," Stephanie sighs. "But she is pregnant
with his child. So I don't know that I should rock that boat right now, you know?"
"She's pregnant?" Cheresa looks back at her in surprise. "I
can see how that changes things for sure." "I
I just feel
like I'm between a rock and a hard place," Stephanie admits to her. "And
I have no idea what to do now." The Cascade Apartments; Cassie,
Jacob, & Carter's Apartment
Cassie steps off the small elevator
at the Cascade apartments and slowly walks towards her apartment that she lives
in with Jacob and Carter. She feels her heart racing inside her chest as she learned
that she is pregnant earlier in the day. On one hand, she is thrilled because
she wanted to have a child with Jacob more than anything else in the world, but
she also knows that he told her that he didn't know if he wanted another child.
Despite him telling her that, Cassie, secretly, stopped taking her birth control,
and now she is with child. She has been telling herself that he will be happy
by this "accident", but doubt has creeped into her mind and, now, she
isn't sure how he will react. "He will be happy, he will be happy,"
she whispers to herself as she unlocks the door. "He has to be happy."
She opens the door and moves inside. As she hangs up her coat, Jacob, who
is only wearing some grey sweatpants, comes into the kitchen. "There you
are," he says with a smile. "Where have you been?" "Sorry,
I'm late, I
I had a doctor's appointment, and then I needed time to think,"
she looks back at him. "A doctor's appointment?" Jacob asks
her in concern. "Are you okay, Cassie? What's going on with you? Please tell
me that you're okay!" Next on One Day at a Time - Daisy
gives Frederick an update - Will Cassie tell Jacob the truth? - Donovan
