Scene One - Twin Peaks General Hospital

Daisy, Andy, JC and Chris all sit in the waiting room of the hospital hoping to hear something about Trenyce’s condition soon. Daisy can’t erase the images from her mind of finding Trenyce passed out in the snow earlier in the evening outside of the Sugarbowl. She knew that Trenyce hadn’t been feeling well after JC revealed that he found her passed out a few days earlier; she never should have let Trenyce leave the house alone, not after what JC told her. Daisy can’t help but blame herself for what has happened. She looks over at Andy, who looks just as worn out.

“I wonder where Craig is,” Daisy finally says out loud to everyone, noting that the doctor has been awhile.

“We just have to wait. No news is good news,” Chris replies to her, worried that Andrew may grow up without a mother. “He must be running tests and stuff.”

“I just hope she wasn’t in the snow for too long,” JC says to everyone, worried that she was freezing in the snow.

Daisy stands up as Craig enters the waiting room, holding Trenyce’s chart. Andy can’t help but look at the attractive doctor and remember that he was out with Reese earlier in the evening. He wonders if that means Reese is at the hospital too because Craig got called in on the emergency.

“Doctor, how is she?” Daisy asks him quickly, frantic to hear about Trenyce.

Craig sighs and puts the chart down. “There’s no easy way to say this,” he begins to tell everyone. “But based on the tests we ran, there’s evidence that Trenyce has some kind of eating disorder. We don’t know what we’re looking at here, we will have to ask her once she wakes up.”

Daisy covers her mouth and feels tears swell in her eyes. Chris stands up and hugs her immediately.

“When will she wake up?” Andy asks Craig next.

“We are hoping that it won’t be much longer. She was under the snow for awhile, so she’s also suffering from a mild bout of hypothermia. We have her under blankets and hope that the warmth will bring her too quickly.”

“Can we see her?” Daisy asks through some tears.

“Yes, just maybe two at a time. We don’t want to overwhelm her,” Craig replies. “If you guys have any other questions, I’ll be around. And just remember, let her open up to you. We don’t want to pressure her.”

“Thanks Doctor,” JC says as Craig leaves the waiting room.

“This is all my fault,” Daisy tells everyone as she wipes her eyes. “I should have seen this coming. I knew something was off with her when she didn’t have Christmas dinner. Now, she could have died because I didn’t see the signs of this!”

“This isn’t your fault,” Andy tells her as he comes up to her and hugs her. “None of us knew what was going on. But together we can make it right. We have to stay strong for Trenyce.”

“Andy is right,” Chris replies, as he grabs her hand. “We have to stick together and we will get through this. We will.”

Scene Two - Roboto; Bob’s Office

Bob looks over numerous files on his desk and tries to rack his brain around how Dominick was able to pull the wool over his eyes about being the CEO for the numbered company. He feels pressure now to make up lost time and get his company back in order. He knows that he has been distracted with Sofia’s death, but he can’t let that stop him now. He’s worked too hard to make his company one of the most successful in the country; he refuses to let Dominick get the upper hand in the industry. If anything, Sofia’s death is pushing him harder. She, more than anyone else, knew how much his work meant to him and how much he loved providing a good home for his family.

“Damn it,” he yells in frustration as he closes the file folder on his desk. He stands up and walks over to his bar where he pours himself a brandy. He drinks it quickly and is about to pour another one when he hears his office door open. “Not now Trudy,” he says, thinking his secretary is coming in to tell him something.

“It’s not Trudy, but I can always come back later if now’s not a good time,” Kim replies to Bob as she comes into the office.

“Oh Kimberly, I’m sorry,” Bob says back to her as he turns back and pours himself another brandy. “I was just in the middle of something and didn’t want to be disturbed, but I always have time for you. Would you care for a drink with me?”

“No thank you,” Kim replies quickly, knowing that she has to drive home still. “Are you okay? You’re not drinking too much are you?”

Bob laughs as he puts his glass down. “No, I’ve always had a brandy or two to calm my nerves. I suppose I have had a few more lately with Sofia passing.”

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to bring that up again.”

“It’s fine,” he replies to her quickly. “I am surviving. It’s tough, some days harder than others, but I am doing okay.”

“Good, I’m still worried about you,” she says coming up to him and putting her hand on his shoulder. “You know that I’m here for you, right?”

“Of course I do,” Bob smiles at her as he walks back to his desk. “Actually, while you’re here, would you look over these press releases for me?”

“I’d be happy to,” she tells him as she sits across from him at his desk. She picks up a piece of paper and quickly reads it. “Wow, you’re really going full steam ahead with this new campaign.”

“I have no choice. I have to make up for lost time that Dominick has gained on. I can’t let him take over the lead in the industry. I’ve owned this industry for so long Kimberly, I won’t let Dominick win. Not now.”

“Well, this looks good Bob. I can’t imagine how this new campaign will fail,” Kim tells him handing him back the press release.

“I hope you’re right, because I will not let Dominick get the upper hand. I refuse to let that happen.”

Scene Three - Robertson Enterprises Office Tower; Dominick’s Office

“And your office is adequate?” Dominick asks Donovan as they sit across from each other at Dominick’s desk, wanting to ensure his top executive is happy with his space as he is expecting big things from him.

“More than adequate, thank you,” Donovan tells him back. “This entire office is a fantastic space. You lucked out in getting it so quickly.”

“Luck had nothing to do with it,” Dominick smugly replies. “I had my eye on it for awhile knowing this was coming. I just pounced when the time was right.”

Donovan laughs a little, “I should have known.”

“And you’re settling in to Twin Peaks alright? I know it’s not the cities of Europe that you’re used too.”

Donovan looks back at him and pauses for a second, “Actually, it’s been great. I have family here, so I hope to reconnect with them more.”

Dominick tries to hide his surprised look on his face, “I didn’t realize you had family here.”

“I didn’t either at first, but now that I know, I hope it turns out to be a good thing.”

“Let’s get down to business then,” Dominick continues, leaning into his desk as he’s getting more serious with Donovan. “I want to launch this new perfume, Blooming Rose, with a boom. I was thinking maybe with a fashion show. What do you think?”

Donovan arches his eyebrow, “Well that would be fine, except is Robertson going into Fashion as well? If you are, you better find a designer quickly to start a line. You’re cutting it pretty thinly.”

Dominick picks up a file and reviews it in front of Donovan, “This is true. Good thing, I have a plan though,” he grins back to his employee.

Scene Four - The Legal Firm; Natasha’s Office

Natasha closes a file and then leans back in her chair. She stretches her arms and then looks at the clock. It is well after working hours, but she has been putting in extra time at the office trying to get the firm back up and running smoothly. She has been working almost none stop since Sofia’s death; in some ways she realizes that she’s using work as a coping mechanism, which she knows isn’t healthy but she needs to keep her mind busy or else she fears that she will fall apart completely.

She looks over at the door when she hears someone approach it. Through the glass, she can see Shane walking up to her door. She gives herself half a smile, knowing that she has always loved seeing him. They haven’t seen each other much since Sofia’s funeral, mostly because she has been giving him space so he can come to terms with Cassie’s betrayal, since he really was the one that was put through the ringer the most by her lies. He opens the door and comes into her office.

“I’m not interrupting am I?” he asks as he closes the door.

“Nah, I was about to head home. I think I’ve put in enough over time for one day,” she smiles back at him as she comes up to him. “How are you?” she asks him as she hugs him. “I’ve been meaning to call you, but I wanted to give you some time.”

“Thanks, I appreciate that,” he whispers into her ear. They exit from their embrace but he continues to hold her hand. “I’m doing okay. The hardest part is still adjusting to not having Dawn around.”

“But Adam and Helen, they’ll still let you have contact with her, won’t they?”

Shane nods his head yes, “I’m giving it some time before I go back though. Dawn needs to adjust to having them as parents. I won’t help the cause by being there every day. It’ll just confuse her more.”

“That makes sense. I can’t imagine that it’s been easy on you though,” she tells him, seeing the pain in his eyes still.

“Letting her go was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do Natasha. I don’t think it’s something I’ll ever get over.”

“I’m so sorry, is there anything I can do?”

“Just listening to me is a good start. I’ve missed you,” he admits to her as he caresses her face with his hand.

“I’ve missed you too. I’m sorry I’ve stayed away.”

“Don’t be. I understand. You’re dealing with the loss of your Mother too.”

Natasha feels her eyes swell with water. “I miss her every day. I don’t know if I will ever stop missing her Shane.”

Shane hugs her again, “You won’t. It’s about learning to adjust each and every day.”

“You’re right,” she replies to him. “We have to get back to normal, whatever that may be.”

Shane smiles at her as he looks into her eyes. “I have an idea of what normal may be.”

Natasha arches her eyebrow, “Do you? Please enlighten me.”

“Let’s go out. You know, on a date. I want you back in my life. Now that there’s nothing standing in our way, I want to be with you again.”

Natasha feels her stomach get butterflies in them and a huge smile comes across her face. “I’d love to go out with you on a date Shane!” she replies getting excited.

“Yea?” he asks smiling back at her. “Good, then it’s settled.”

Natasha turns around and suddenly shuts her eyes. She turns back to him and looks at him. “We have to take this slow this time Shane. No rushing into living together or getting engaged. A lot has happened, to both of us this past year. Let’s just go slow and get to know each other again.”

Shane sighs and grabs her hands, “Okay, let’s do that. I just want to be with you. Anything else is a bonus.”

Natasha smiles and hugs him again. “I’m glad you came by tonight.”

“Me too Nat, me too.”

Scene Five - The Black House; Adam, Helen & Dawn’s Home

Adam closes the door to Dawn’s bedroom door and begins to walk down the hall to his bedroom he shares with Helen. His mind, however, is racing as he remembers his encounter of Mallory the other evening after he went for a walk. They touched hands and he was so close to grabbing her and kissing her passionately. He gets the feeling that she wants him as badly as he wants her, even though he knows that it’s wrong on so many levels. First, he can’t imagine what would happen if the school found out that he slept with one of his students. Secondly, he doesn’t want to cheat on his wife, but he knows that she is having difficultly reopening up to him since they’ve gotten their child back. He still thinks that they should be closer than ever right now because they have their family back; instead he feels like he’s further away from Helen than he’s ever been before.

He enters the bedroom and sees Helen laying on the bed reading a book. He can’t help but notice how beautiful she looks in her long white nightgown, her skin glows in the soft light from the bedside table lamp. “She went down pretty easily tonight. I think she’ll sleep through the night,” he tells his wife, referring to Dawn.

Helen puts the book down and smiles, “Well that’s a nice change. Maybe our little girl is finally adjusting to being with us.”

“I hope so,” Adam replies as he takes his shirt off and tosses it into the laundry hamper. “I think we all need some stability again.”

Helen doesn’t respond to her husband as he crawls in to bed next to her. He leans into her and tries to give her a kiss. Instead, she pushes him away quickly after thinking she hears a noise. “Did you hear that?” she asks quickly in a panic.

“No,” he sighs heavily, thinking that Helen is trying to avoid having physical contact with him again. “I didn’t hear anything. Come back to bed,” he tells her, after she has jumped out of the bed and has walked to the hallway. She comes back after not seeing or hearing anything again.

“Sorry, I’m just worried about Dawn.”

“She’s fine, she’s sleeping.”

“I know. I guess, I’m just worried that someone will try to take her away from us again Adam. I need to get over this fear, I know. But I …”

“No one will take our baby away from us again Helen. I promise you that,” he tells her as he looks into her eyes. “Dawn is finally starting to adjust, it’s time we do the same.”

Helen fakes a smile to him. “I know you’re right. I know, I just can’t shake this feeling that someone else will happen to her.”

“It’s natural that you want to protect her Helen. But she’s here with us. She’s not going any where. We have to get our lives back to normal now,” he tells her. “We have to at least try.”

Helen smiles and looks at her husband. “I know. I’m trying. You know that right?”

Adam doesn’t respond to her. “Sleep well Helen.”

Helen watches as he shuts off the light on his side of the bed before he lays his head down on his pillow. “You too,” she whispers before she shuts the light off of her side and lays down.

Scene Six - The Cunningham House; Mallory’s Home

Mallory holds up a picture of Adam that she got and looks at it lovingly. She can’t believe how close they were in the park the other day when they held hands so he could feel how warm she was. She feels her heart skip a beat when she thinks of his hand touching hers. It felt like nothings she’s ever experienced before. She looks at the picture again before setting it down carefully.

“I think I’m falling in love with you Mr. Black,” she whispers to herself as she picks up her brush and starts to brush her long red hair in front of her mirror. “But that means you have to fall in love with me.”

As she continues to brush her hair, she wonders how she can get Adam to fall in love with her and want to be with her. She knows that it may be tricky because he has a wife, but there must be something she can do to get his attention.

“I have an idea,” she says as she looks into the mirror. “I have to get him to make love to him. Once he makes love to me, he’ll want to be with me forever and ever.”

She continues to brush her hair, wondering how she can get Adam into her bed because she continues to believe that is the key to getting his heart.

Scene Seven - Twin Peaks General Hospital; Victoria’s Office

Victoria hangs up her white doctor jacket on the coat hanger and starts to gather her belongings. She is exhausted after working an evening shift, but her mind has been racing since Donovan showed up on her door step the other night. They only chatted briefly about him coming to town for a job offer that he received, but it was already late so they didn’t chat long. She is about to walk over to her door when she hears her phone ring. She walks over to her desk and picks it up.

“Dr. Franky speaking … Oh Eva, yes, we are supposed to meet still. Can we postpone though? I know we keep doing this, but I’m just on my way out for the night … Yes, tomorrow sounds good. Thanks Eva,” Victoria says hanging up the phone. Since Eva has become the Chief of Staff, she has gone around to meet with all of the staff members just so she can get to know them and see if they have any questions or concerns. For whatever reason, Eva’s meeting with Victoria continues to get pushed back. Not that Victoria cares, she has no complaints about working at the hospital or with Eva, so the meeting has never been a huge issue for her.

She finishes collecting her belongings and turns to the door to leave, only she hears a knock on the door this. “Great,” she whispers to herself as she walks over to the door and opens it. She sees Donovan standing on the other side. “Donovan, hi,” she says shocked that he just appeared at her office.

“I hope it’s not too late,” he says as he comes into the office. “I just finished up at work, and the hospital was close by, so I thought I would come and see what your plans are now. I know it’s late, but I would like to catch up.”

Victoria looks at her brother and still isn’t sure what to make of his sudden reappearance in her life. It had been years since they saw each other last saw each other. More over, Victoria’s true fear is that if Donovan tracked her down, has her father tracked her down. “I’m sceptical about something,” she admits to him.

He arches his eyebrow, “What’s that?”

“If you found me, is Dad with you? Does Dad know where I am?” she asks quickly, trying to sound strong, even though she’s terrified.

“No, of course not. I haven’t seen Dad in years,” Donovan tells her. “I know when you left, you had your reasons. I honestly didn’t even know you were hear until my first day here. I just happened to see you, and then I heard your name being mentioned. In one of the emails you sent me a few years ago, you told me you changed your name to Victoria.”

Victoria feels her eyes swell with water. “I haven’t told anyone that Victoria isn’t my real name Donovan.”

“I understand that you’ve made a new life for yourself Marbella,” he says quickly to her. “I mean, Victoria. It will take me awhile to get used to calling you Victoria.”

“You have too. No one really knows about my past Donovan. I mean, people know that I was sexually abused by my father, but that’s all they know. I don’t want to go back to that time. I can’t go back to that time.”

Donovan sighs, “I’m not here to cause you trouble Mar … Victoria,” he catches himself. “I’m here for a job, which is a great opportunity. I guess I was just hoping that we could reconnect since we are both in Twin Peaks. I’ll understand if you don’t want too though.”

She watches as he walks to the door. He opens the door before she stops him, “Wait,” she calls turning around to face him. “I’m sorry. This is just happening so quickly. Of course, I’m happy that you’re here. I’d love to go have dinner and catch up.”

Donovan smiles and walks up to his sister and hugs her. “I’ve missed you Marbella. I really have.”

“I’ve missed you too. But it’s Victoria,” she replies with a grin on her face.

Scene Eight - Twin Peaks General Hospital

Daisy opens the door to Trenyce’s hospital room and sees her laying in the bed sleeping. She walks up to her slowly and sits next to her niece. She feels her eyes swell with water again as she grabs Trenyce’s hand.

“I’m so sorry that I didn’t see this coming,” Daisy cries to her niece. “But now that we know, we need to you wake up Trenyce. We need to you to open your eyes so we can make this all better.”

Trenyce’s eyes start to flutter a little and Daisy gasps as Trenyce awakes. “You’re awake! You heard me! Oh thank you God.”

Trenyce looks at Daisy and can see that she’s been crying. She looks around the room and realizes that she’s in the hospital, though she doesn’t remember what happened that put her in the hospital. “What happened?” she asks, her voice hoarse.

“You fainted Trenyce, in the snow. Do you remember anything at all?” Daisy asks her, trying to stay calm.

Trenyce shakes her head no.

“The doctor said that he thinks you have an eating disorder. Is that true? Have you not been eating properly Trenyce?”

Trenyce looks away completely ashamed that her secret has come out. She feels her eyes get watery. Daisy grabs her hand and squeezes it. “Don’t cry Trenyce, please. It’s okay. I’m here for you. All of your family is here for you. We just want you to be okay.”

Trenyce looks back at her Aunt and let’s a tear escape from her eye. She nods, “It’s true,” she whispers. “I have been forcing myself to throw up after I eat.”

Daisy bites her lower lip and hugs Trenyce. “I’m so sorry you’ve been going through this alone Trenyce. But I promise you, everything is going to be okay. We are going to make this right. Together.”

Trenyce hugs her Aunt. “I’m so sorry Daisy. I’m sorry.”
