Previously on One Day At A Time
-On the day of the election results, Daiiisy got a mysterious call. She arrived at her office, and was drugged. Later a woman looking like Daisy arrived, as Daisy won the election
-Robin and Rebecca finally came face to face. They had a happy reunion, but still had questions
-Cory accepted Robin’s proposal, and gave her a ring
-Natasha arrived at the Calimo Cabin

Scene 1
Setting: Twin Peaks General Hospital; Shane’s Office

Despite the late hour, Shane sits in his office doing paper work. His thoughts quickly fade back to catching Adam and Victoria having sex in the bed he shared with Victoria.

"I thought we had something Victoria" he says softly to himself, trying to refrain from crying. "I never knew you would do this to me"

He places his hands over his face. Suddenly the phone rings. Shane slowly picks it up.

"Dr. Shane Glubbs....oh Hi!...I see. My divorce has been finalized....Thank you for the information." Shane hangs up the phone.

"I’m a free man." he tries to say with some enthusiasm. "So, why do I feel trapped?"

Scene 2
Setting: Chris and Daisy’s Home

Chris prepares a late dinner. He is expecting Daisy home at any time, as she is still at City Hall doing press for winning the election. Suddenly, the door shuts. Daisy is home.

"Daisy? Come have some dinner. I’ve made something special" he calls from the kitchen.

‘Daisy’ takes off her jacket, and looks around the house, as if to study it quickly.

"Daisy? Did you hear me?"

"Coming" she replies, entering the kitchen. She walks over and sits across from Chris at the table.

"Welcome home, Mrs. Mayor" Chris smiles.

"Thank you. For everything. You have been so supportive."

"Just doing my job as a husband. Let’s eat, I’m starved"

They begin to eat. Chris quickly recalls Daisy being late for the election results.

"Where were you?" he asks.

"At City Hall. Doing press. I told you."

"No, not now. Before the election. You were late for the results. That’s not like you."

"I was nervous. I was just in the washroom."

Chris doesn’t reply, but he notices something different about Daisy. Suddenly the phone rings. Chris gets up to answer it.

‘Daisy’ watches Chris. ’Damn! I’ve got to out of here!’ she thinks to herself.

Chris hangs up the phone. "I’m sorry to do this, but I have to go back to Roboto. Bob needs a report faxed to him ASAP."

"Oh, sweetie don’t worry. I was going to crash soon anyway. It’s been a long day."

"Are you sure?" he asks.

‘Daisy’ nods her head.

"Alright. See you in the morning" Chris says, grabbing his coat. ’Daisy’ hears the door shut, and Chris’ car start. She watches as Chris drives off. She quickly grabs her coat, and leaves as well.

Scene 3
Setting: Twin Peaks General Hospital; The Lobby

Victoria arrives at the hospital. She is at the main desk, heading to her office, when she overhears some nurses talking.

"Word on the grapevine is that the cops are after Dr. Franky for killing Vinny Victors"

"What? Where did you hear that?"

"My boyfriend is a cop. He said that Robbie Calimo was questioning the good doctor a few weeks ago. And when Vicky left she was very upset."

Victoria is stunned by what she hears. She races off to her office, and slams the door.

"I can’t believe this. People actually think I killed Vinny! What am I going to do?" she asks herself, as she paces in her office. Suddenly her phone rings. Victoria picks it up.

"Hello...Yea, this is her...Really? That fast?...Thanks. This is good news, that I needed" Victoria hangs up the phone, with a big smile on her face.

"The divorce is over. This is unbelievable news!"

Scene 4
Setting: The Towers; The Penthouse; Cory’s Home

Cory and Robin lay in bed, fresh in the afterglow of making love.

"I’m so happy Cory. You’ve made me the happiest woman in the world" Robin beams.

"Is that so? I guess that makes me the luckiest man in the world" Cory replies. The two kiss passionately again.

The telephone interrupts them.

"Don’t answer it" Robin pleas, pulling Cory into another kiss.

"I have to. It may be serious" Cory says, pulling out of the kiss and picking up the phone. "Hello...Just one moment please" Cory puts the phone away from his face. "It’s for you" he tells Robin, handing her the phone.

"Hello?...Right now? Do you know what time it is?...Fine. I’ll be right there" Robin hangs up the phone.

"What’s going on?" Cory asks.

"I have to go to the lab. Bob needs a report from Chris Michaels and myself immediately"

"When you will be home?"

"As soon as I can be" she smiles at him.

Scene 5
Setting: A Disclosed Location

Daisy awakes again on the small bed. She looks around, and hears a noise. She realizes someone is entering the small room. She turns and sees herself! Another woman looking exactly like her.

"It can’t be" Daisy says.

"Oh, but it is" the woman smiles.

"Danielle? Is that really you?"

"In the flesh."

"Why are you here? What do you want with me?"

Danielle starts to laugh. "I want everything. And I will have everything Daisy. No one knows you are here, except me."

"Where am I?"

"That’s not your concern. I just came to show you where you can get food." Danielle says, pointing to a small fridge. "I’ll come by later with more food"

Danielle turns to leave.

"Wait, what about Chris? My husband must be worried about me!"

"He’s fine. He thinks I’m you." Danielle laughs. Daisy gets a look of horror on her face. "That’s right sister dear. I’m taking over your life. I’m taking what’s rightfully mine" Danielle says leaving.

Daisy lays on the bed and begins to cry. "This can’t be happening"

Scene 6
Setting: The Towers; Floor Twelve; Adam’s Apartment

Victoria arrives at Adam’s apartment. She opens the door and sees the apartment filled with candles and a romantic table set up.

"Adam are you here? What is all this?"

Adam emerges wearing a black tuxedo.

"Adam, what have you done?"

"I thought you could use a night filled with romance. I bought you a red dress. It’s in the bedroom. Go try it on."

Victoria smiles. "You shouldn’t have Adam." she says, walking to the bedroom.

Adam watches Victoria leave. After she leaves, he puts his hand in his pocket and pulls out a ring box. After taking a deep breath, he says "I hope I can do this"

Scene 7
Setting: Roboto; The Lab

Robin arrives at the Lab, and realizes that she forgot her briefcase at the Penthouse. She rushes over to the phone and calls Cory.

"Hey sexy" she smiles. "I need you do to me a favor...I forgot my briefcase. Can you bring it over to me?....Thank you. Watch the roads, they are a little icy from the snow....OK, see you soon"

Scene 8
Setting: The Victor’s Home; Meggan’s Home

Meggan is alone once again at home. She is watching some TV, unaware that mysterious figure is in the house with her, watching her every move.

Meggan gets bored of watching the TV, so she shuts it off. She walks upstairs and enters the study. She goes to the bookshelf. The mysterious figure enters the room with her, but not watching knocks a photo of Vinny off the an end table. Meggan turns, and gasps in horror, and she sees something running down the hall.

"Who’s there?" Meggan calls out. Meggan walks over to the picture of Vinny, and picks it up. She grabs a vase, and walks slowly downstairs. "Who’s here?" she calls out. She quickly finds her gun [the one she uses at work]. "I’m a police officer. Come out with your hands up" Meggan demands.

Nothing happens. Meggan opens the door to the basement. "Is anyone down there?" she calls. Again silence fills the house.

Meggan grabs her coat and walks to the door. She leaves the house and gets into her car. "Was I imaging things?" she asks herself. "I can’t stay there until I find out the truth."

Back inside, the mysterious figure emerges from the basement. They quickly adjust their black ski mask, and they leave from the backdoor.

Scene 9
Setting: The Towers; Floor Twelve; Adam’s Apartment

Victoria emerges from the bedroom, wearing the red dress that Adam bought for her.

"Damn, you look amazing Victoria" Adam says.

Victoria smiles, and kisses Adam. "Thank you for the wonderful dress and the romantic evening you have here"

"You are more then welcome" he replies. "I do have a confession to make though" Adam says, showing Victoria her seat.

"What’s that?" she says, sitting down.

"I got a phone call earlier. I know your divorce to Shane has been finalized"

"Ah, so you wanted to surprise me?"

"I didn’t know what your mood would be like. If you would be upset or not."

"I’m happy it’s over." she smiles. "And I’m ready to move on with my life."

"I was hoping you’d say that"

Victoria raises her eyebrow. "What are you up to, Adam Black?"

"You’ll see"

Scene 10
Setting: Cory’s Car

Cory is driving to Roboto. He keeps his eyes on the road, as the snow is falling hard now. He quickly turns on the radio, not seeing a patch of black ice. The car skids and smashes into a light post. Cory’s head is jerked and it hits the steering wheel, causing Cory to fall unconscious.

Scene 11
Setting: Chris and Daisy’s Home

Danielle pulls into the driveway. She opens the garage door, and quickly realizes that Chris hasn’t returned home yet.

"Good. I won’t have to come up with some excuse" she tells herself.

She enters the house and looks around. She quickly attempts to become familiar with the house. "Thank God Daisy was dumb enough to keep personal journals at her office. I learned so much information. Now I just have to get familiar with Chris."

Scene 12
Setting: The Towers; Floor Twelve; Adam’s Apartment

Adam and Victoria are dancing slowly in the candle lit room.

"You feel so good in my arms" Adam whispers in her ear.

"Your arms feel good to be in" she replies.

Adam looks at Victoria and kisses her passionately.

"I’ve fallen in love with you Victoria, and..."

"Adam..."

"Wait, please let me finish. I know you just became a free woman, but you complete me. When I first came to Twin Peaks, I was so obsessed with Natasha and getting her back." he stops and walks to the sofa. He sits down. Victoria follows, and sits next to him. "Then I met you. And everything changed."

Victoria starts to get some tears in her eyes. "You’re making me cry, Adam" she smiles.

Adam gets down on one knee. "It’s not my intention to make you cry. I want to make you happy. Forever." He pulls out the ring box, and opens it. "Will you marry me?"

Victoria is stunned. "Marriage? Adam this is so unexpected" Victoria says, getting up. "I’m sorry, but I can’t"

Victoria grabs her coat and leaves; Adam is devastated.

Scene 13
Setting: Roboto; The Lab

Robin is in the Lab, working at her desk. Suddenly the phone rings.

"Robin Navy...What? Is he alright?...I’ll be right there"

Robin hangs up the phone.

"My God...I hope Cory is alright"

Scene 14
Setting: Twin Peaks General Hospital

Shane enters the ER and sees that it’s Cory that was involved in a car accident. Shane walks over to Cory, who has a bandage on his head.

"How are you feeling Cory?" Shane asks.

"I’m fine. I hope you’re going to tell me the same thing"

"All the tests show you will be fine."

"That’s great."

Shane smiles.

"Is something wrong Shane? You seem different"

"It’s personal. I think I just need to get away."

"Ah, I know how you feel. Why don’t you go to the Calimo cabin for a few days? Natasha and I always went there to escape."

"The Calimo’s wouldn’t mind?"

"Not at all. If they ask, I’ll tell them I gave you the OK"

"Thanks Cory. I’m going to do that. I’ll leave tonight"
