on One Day at a Time Scene One - The Wilkins Estate; Reese & Madeline's Home Andy sits on the sofa in the living room of the large mansion alone. The room is dark and he has his head down. He has lost a lot in the last few weeks; first with Reese passing away and then Madeline deciding to move to Los Angeles. He understands why Madeline made the decision but the fact that he is now alone dealing with his grief over Reese makes it very difficult for him. To make things worse, he has to move out of the house because Madeline has decided to sell the place because she doesn't want all the memories of Preston, Olivia and Reese haunting her. He has gotten texts from Donovan, Kim and Trenyce, but he hasn't replied to them. He just needs to be alone right now. He stands up and looks around the room. He moves over to the fireplace mantel and picks up a picture of him and Reese. He gasps as he begins to cry a little. "You shouldn't have left me," Andy says to the picture as he places it back on the mantel. He moves over to the bar cart in the room and pours himself a whiskey. He drinks it back quickly before he pours himself another. "Why did you have to leave me Reese?" he asks himself. "We had so much to live for. We had so much left to do!" He finishes his second whiskey before he puts the glass down and covers his eyes as tears flow more heavily from his eyes. As soon as his eyes shut, he's taken back to another time he had with Reese. [FLASH] "You're the bravest person I've met; coming out at such a young age. It could not have been easy. You have so much to be proud of. Madeline will come back one day, I know she will," he smiles at Reese. Reese looks at Andy's face. He moves in and kisses Andy passionately. Andy puts his hand behind Reese's head and responds. Their lips unite. Reese starts to unbutton Andy's shirt and soon both men are shirtless. Andy backs away from Reese's lips when Reese starts to unbuckle Andy's belt. "Are you ready?" Reese asks. Andy kisses him and finishes taking off his own belt. "So ready ..." he says whispering into Reese's ear before his mouth finds his neck. Reese lets out a deep sigh as his hands continue to unbutton Andy's jeans. [FLASH] Andy opens his eyes and shakes his head, not wanting to remember more happy times with the love of his life. "I just want to forget," he whispers as he pours himself another whiskey. "I can't do this." Scene Two - Twin Peaks General Hospital "Ahhh!" Natasha screams out in pain as she is brought into the hospital emergency room. "It's too soon for me to have this baby!" Shane follows behind her hoping that there is some kind of mistake and that Natasha is not in labour. He recalls how they were discussing Shane's decision to accept the Chief of Staff position at the hospital which angered Natasha. Before he knew what was happening, she was in labour after her water broke. Shane is scared to death, however, because he knows that Natasha isn't due for close to another 8 weeks. It's too soon for the baby to come, he believes. "Everything will be fine Natasha," he tries to reassure her, and himself at the same time. "Let's just wait to see what the doctor says." "Please Shane," Natasha replies to him as she grabs his hand. "You're a doctor. You have to make sure our baby is okay. I can't let anything happen to my baby!" He looks up and sees Victoria approaching them. "Victoria, she's gone into labour. She's still 8 weeks away from her delivery date, however. This must be some kind of mistake." "Shane, you know the drill, you'll have to wait out here while I examine her," Victoria tells him, as the nurses take over and push Natasha into an examination room. Victoria follows behind, leaving Shane waiting alone. He runs his hands over his face and takes a deep breath as he feels his heart racing a million miles a second. "Please God, let her be okay. And don't let anything happen to our baby." "Shane?" Bob asks his son in law from behind. Shane turns around and sees Bob. "Is Natasha okay?" Shane finds himself pulling Bob into a hug. "She's being examined right now," Shane reveals to Bob. "I'm scared Bob." Bob pulls him into a tighter embrace. "Whatever needs to happen, I will make sure Natasha and my grandchild has the best care possible." "Thank you," Shane nods back to him as they exit their hug. "For everything; I couldn't wait here alone." "There's nowhere else I'd rather be," Bob says back to him. "Excuse me for a moment, I'm going to call Robbie. He'd want to be here as well." Shane looks back at the examination room hoping to see Victoria emerge but she doesn't. When he doesn't, he sighs and continues to pray that his wife and child will be okay. "They have to be okay," he whispers to himself. "They just have to be okay." Scene Three - The Calimo Mansion "Do you have any idea when Mr. Calimo will be back?" Rosario asks Kim as she lays on the sofa drinking a cup of herbal tea. After being discharged from the hospital, Bob had insisted that Kim go home and rest. He was going to join her, but he got a call from Shane about Natasha. Kim wishes that she could be at the hospital for her best friend but the doctor had ordered her not to have any more stress, so she is at home. "I'm not sure Rosario," Kim finally replies to the trusty maid. "Is there something I can help you with?" "No, no," she says back to Kim. "He got a package earlier and he hasn't been home to open it." "Ah," Kim nods to Rosario. "Well, I'm sure once Natasha's crisis has cleared he will be home and he can open the package." "Can I bring you anything else Mrs. Calimo?" Rosario asks her. "No, I'm fine, thank you Rosario." The maid quickly leaves the room and Kim picks up her cup of tea and takes a sip. Her mind is racing about the day that she has had; learning that Johnny is really Tyler Robertson, Dominick's long lost son was so eventful she collapsed and is basically sentenced to bed rest for the remainder of her pregnancy. She can't believe that the man she had an affair with is the son of her husband's arch rival. If she knew that Bob couldn't learn about the affair before, she knows for sure now that her husband can never find out that she cheated. Not only that but she knows Andy is going through a rough time. She grabs her telephone and dials a number. She sighs when it goes straight to voicemail. "Andy, it's me," she says into the telephone. "I just wanted to call and see how you're doing. I hope you know that I'm here for you if you need anything. Call me." She turns her head around when she hears someone coming into the living room as she puts her phone down. Her mouth opens in shock when she sees Tyler entering the room. "What the hell are you doing here?" she asks him, trying to keep her voice down so Rosario doesn't hear her. "I had to see you," he admits to her. "I was so worried about you after you collapsed earlier. How are you feeling?" "I'm fine," she snaps back at him. "I'm not supposed to have any more stress for the rest of the pregnancy so you should leave, before someone sees you!" "Fine, I don't want to cause you any more problems," he tells her as he moves closer and kneels down to face her. He is about to put his hand on her face when she grabs his hand. "Don't Tyler," she says back to him. "Don't you dare touch me! Not after everything you've done to me. Not after all the lies you've told me." "I never lied about how I felt about you," he tells her, hoping she will understand. She starts to laugh a little. "And that's supposed to make this all okay? If my husband ever found out what I did with you, especially now that I know who you really are My God, I can't even think about it." "Kim " "No, Tyler," she says back to him. "Get out of here and I mean it when I say I never want to see you again." He stands up slowly and looks back at her. "I'm not going to give up on you. On us." Before she can say anything back to him, he's walking out of the living room. Kim covers her mouth with her hand. "What have I done?" she asks herself before she looks back to ensure that he really has left the room. She has to make sure no one, especially Bob, doesn't find out the truth. Scene Four - The Sugarbowl "I can't believe that my Dad didn't get anything from Mom's will," Paige tells Robbie as they sit together in the back booth of the coffeehouse, having some hot chocolates together. Robbie recalls how they were just at the will reading for Leah and because she hadn't updated her will since 2011, it was still when Leah and Robbie were happily married. In Robbie's mind, however, it's a sort of justice as he has started to blame Jeff, alongside Bob, as being responsible for Leah's demise. "I know it is a shock to you sweetheart," he replies to the young woman that he still considers to be his daughter. "But your Mother made her decision. There's no going back from that now." "But did she make her decision? She hadn't updated her will in so long. I have to wonder what she would have done differently if she had updated her will. We really have no idea what she wanted at the time she ." "We will never know," Robbie interrupts her, not wanting Paige to say that Leah is gone. "All we know is that Jeff, in some ways, is responsible for what has happened. Maybe this was the universes way of getting even." Paige looks up at Robbie in shock. "Do you really think he is partly responsible for this happening?" "I can't lie to you Paige," Robbie replies to her. "But yes, I do think that if Jeff hadn't pressured your Mother into going away to get married that she would still be alive today." Paige puts her head down as she feels her eyes swell with water. "I wish I had been here to try to stop her." "Don't do that to yourself Paige," he tells her as he reaches across the table and grabs her hand. "None of this is your fault." She looks up at him as a tear falls from her eye. "I just wish she was still here. I feel like a piece of my heart is missing without her." "I understand," he says to her. "We just have to remember who have to thank for feeling this way." "My Dad," she replies to him. Before he can say anything, Robbie's cell phone rings. "Excuse me for a moment," he says as he answers the call. "What is it Dad? I thought I told you I had nothing else to say to you what? Is Natasha okay? I'll be right there." "What's wrong with Aunt Natasha?" Paige asks concerned, having only heard half the telephone call. "She went into premature labour," Robbie reveals. "I have to get to the hospital." "I'm coming with you," Paige says behind him, following him out of the coffeehouse. *** "Have you heard from Andy at all?" Donovan asks Trenyce as they sit at the window bar, each with an iced mocha. Donovan knows that Andy is probably going through hell right now as he deals with the loss of Reese. He doesn't know how he would handle a situation like that and he never wants to find out; that being said, he continues to worry about Andy in this time of grief. Trenyce puts her mocha down and looks over at Donovan as she shrugs her shoulders. "I get very basic texts back from him," she informs Donovan. "I'll ask if he wants company and he'll say 'no thanks'. I don't know Donovan, a part of me doesn't think he should be alone right now but I don't want to intrude either." Donovan nods back to her. "I get it," he tells her. "I get the same kind of replies from him. I can't imagine what he's going through right now." "He shouldn't have to go through this alone," Trenyce informs him. "We have to be there for him. We should be there for him." "But like you said, we don't want to overstep on his in his personal space right now." "So what? We just sit here and do nothing?" Trenyce asks him, not sure of what the answer is. "We aren't doing nothing," Donovan informs her. "We are reaching out to him all the time. But whether or not he wants us to help him needs to be up to him." Trenyce nods and looks back at her friend. "You're right. We just have to wait for him to reach out to us. I just hope it's sooner rather than later." Scene Five - The Wilkins Estate; Madeline & Reese's Home Andy holds the bottle of whiskey in one hand as he opens the door to his bedroom with Reese. Since Reese passed, he hasn't been back in the bedroom. The room where he was sleeping with Reese each and every night; the room where they made love so often; the room where Reese took his last breath. He moves into the room as some tears rush to his eyes. He looks at the bed where Reese passed away. He sets his glass down on the desk and pours himself a whiskey. He quickly drinks it down. "Everywhere I look in this damn house, I see you Reese!" Andy yells out in frustration. "I guess this is why Madeline left town. She couldn't handle this!" He pours himself another drink and he turns around looking around the room. "It seems like yesterday we were laying in bed," Andy says out loud. "You rested your head on my shoulders and we were planning our future. Do you remember that Reese? Do you remember everything we wanted to do together? Why would you leave me? Why wouldn't you want to do everything we had planned together?" He shuts his eyes for a moment and takes a deep breath. [FLASH] "Here's your latte. I sprinkled some cinnamon on top, just the way you like it," Andy explains as he passes the cup to Reese. Reese manages to crack a small smile, knowing that Andy remembered one of his favourite things to do with his latte. "Just the way I like it, thank you." "How are you? Really?" Andy asks, looking at his former lover. It has been months since Andy has seen Reese, and he has to admit that he looks pretty good. His hair is a touch shorter than before Reese moved, but otherwise he looks good. His large biceps bulge through the white polo that Reese wears, which Andy noticed immediately. "I don't really know," Reese admits as he takes a drink of his latte. "I didn't come home for reading week because my parents told me that I should stay in LA and study. They promised that this spring when I would come home for good we would go away together. All four of us on a family trip. They seemed so excited," he says getting misty in his eyes. "I just can't believe that they're gone. It's so surreal." Andy takes a deep breathe. He has no idea what Reese is experiencing right now. His parents left him before he even knew who they were. "Is there anything I can do to help?" Reese looks over and makes eye contact with him. "You're doing it, just by being here with me. The last thing I wanted to do was to go home and be around all of their stuff," he explains, knowing that he and Madeline will have to go through the mansion soon enough. "Enough talk about my parents. How are you? What's new with you?" [FLASH] He takes another swig of his whiskey before he moves closer to the bed. He reaches out and puts his hand on the blankets before he falls on to the bed in tears. "I miss you so much Reese," he cries as he sprawls out on the bed. "Why did you have to leave me? Why did you have to die?" Scene Six - Chris' Townhouse "Wow, this place looks amazing," Savannah smiles as she comes into Chris' new townhouse that he recently purchased. "It must feel nice not having to stay in the hotel anymore. "You have no idea," Chris replies to her with a chuckle. "It was getting cramped that small room and since things are going well here in Twin Peaks, I thought I'd get my own place." "Are things going that well at Roboto?" she asks, hoping that she's not crossing a line since she knows that she is modelling for Roboto's biggest competitor. Chris nods back to him. "Bob has always been very good to me," he informs her as he pours her a glass of red wine. "He moved me to an office in Boston when I left town and immediately welcomed me back when I moved back. He's a great boss." "That's great," Savannah tells him. "Thank you," she says as she takes the wine from his hand. "It's good that your job keeps you satisfied." "And what about you? Are you still enjoying modelling at Robertson Enterprises?" She grins back to him as she moves a piece of her hair behind her ear. "I am," she admits to him. "I can't imagine doing anything else. I have to be in front of the camera. Nothing else makes sense to me." "Well, the camera loves you. You're such a beautiful woman," he replies to her as he comes and kisses her. The kiss quickly turns more passionate. He knows that this is a part of his plan to get Andrew back but having her here and kissing her is definitely a perk for him. "You know why I wanted you to come over tonight, don't you?" She looks back at him. "I thought you wanted to have a nice evening with me?" she giggles looking back at him. "Oh, I think it will be very, very nice," he winks as he leans back into her and kisses her more passionately. Scene Seven - The Victors Mansion; Vinny & Daisy's Home Lukas, Frederick and Meggan sit in the living room in their wing of the house that they are staying at after Vinny invited them to stay in the house. Frederick has a slight grin on his face as he enjoys spending time with his family but he also knows that he doesn't like he wants to intrude on the Vinny's generosity much longer. He is using his IPad and is currently searching real estate websites hoping to find something he and his family could move into. "Look at this one," Frederick tells Meggan, who is sitting next to him on the sofa. Across the room, in the arm chair, Lukas' eyebrow arches when he hears that his father could have found a house. Meggan looks at the IPad and smiles at the sight of the house. "Wow, it's certainly grand," she says before she gasps. "Oh my. I know this house!" "What house is it?" Lukas asks her, curious as to what house Frederick has found. "It's Reese and Madeline Wilkins house. It was their parents but they inherited after they passed away. I guess Madeline is selling the house too since she moved to LA," Meggan reveals to them. "She's the woman who sold me her business after her brother passed away from cancer." "I think I read about that in the paper," Lukas comments. "Tragic because he was so young." "Very tragic," Frederick replies to them. "The fact of the matter is, though, that this house is more than big enough for our family here. I think I'm going to put an offer in, if you two are okay with that." "I don't see why not," Meggan replies to him as Lukas nods back to him. "Yea, Dad, if you'd like the house then we are on board," Lukas says to them. "You know what this means?" Frederick smiles to his children. "It means that we may be getting out of this house and into our own!" Scene Seven - Twin Peaks General Hospital "Has there been any update on Natasha?" Robbie asks Shane and Bob as he and Paige enter the waiting room at the hospital. Shane looks up at Robbie and stands up to welcome him to the hospital. "I'm afraid not," he informs him. "Victoria took Natasha into the examination room. We are just hoping that there has been some kind of mistake because it's too early for the baby to come." "Yea, I didn't think Natasha was due for another 8 weeks or so," Robbie replies to him. "She wasn't," Bob says back to him. "That's exactly why we are so worried about this means." Before anyone else can say anything, Victoria enters the waiting room. "Victoria, how is she? How is the baby?" Shane asks her, needing to know how his wife and baby are doing. Victoria sighs. "She has gone into labour. We are getting her prepped now. She's asking for you Shane," Victoria reveals. "She's scared that it's too early. And it is early for the baby to come, but we already have the prenatal center on call that we have a premature baby coming." Shane looks back at Bob and feels the blood drain from his face. "I can't believe this," he says. "We are going to have a baby." Scene Eight - The Wilkins Estate; Madeline & Reese's Home Andy pulls himself up on to the bed after he had a little breakdown. He moves back over to the whiskey and looks around the room for his glass. When he doesn't see the glass, he opens the bottle of whiskey and drinks it straight from the bottle. "I usually don't drink whiskey Reese," he says to himself. "But you see, nothing makes sense to me right now. I'm doing things I have no clue about. I'm not used to losing the man I love. I'm not use to being alone without you." He takes another swig of his whiskey. "But God, I miss you. I wish I could hold you one more time. I wish I could tell you how much I love you and how much I need you here with me. Reese! Can you hear me? Do you even know how much I am suffering?" He stops as he tries to collect himself with the tears in his eyes. He has another swig of whiskey before he slowly stumbles over to the bed. He falls on to the bed and his eyes slowly start to close; he quickly passes out, the room smelling of booze and tears. Next on One
