on One Day at a Time Scene One - The Black House; Adam, Helen & Dawn's Home Dawn pours herself a cup of coffee and takes a sip of it as she barely slept at all the previous night. While she was at the hospital gala, what happened right before she left has been replaying in her mind over and over again. She saw Adam and Natasha on Shane's desk making love; she doesn't know how or why this was happening, but she knows what she saw and it has made her sick to her stomach. Her father being with another woman is disgusting to her. She recalls how she and Helen were visiting Reg when Helen realized that she was being unfair to Adam for shutting him out. Helen asked Dawn to go and track down Adam so he could be a part of their family again. Dawn was so proud of her mother for realizing that she was making a mistake for shutting Adam out. "I defended you Dad," Dawn whispers to herself as a tear forms in her eye. "I told Mom that she was wrong for shutting you out of our time with Grandpa. God, what a fool I was." She takes another sip of her coffee before she sets the glass down as her mind starts to go into overdrive. How long has her father been sleeping with Natasha? She asks herself, as she wonders if her father is the father of Natasha's new born son. Could her father also be Jacob's father? Does she have a brother? "My God," she says as she starts to shake. "How long has this been going on Dad? How long have you been playing our family for fools?" "Who is playing our family for a fool Dawn?" Helen asks as she comes into the kitchen and looks at her daughter. "What are you talking about?" Scene Two - The Pampa Grill "So the gala was a success then?" Tyler asks his father, as they sit across from each other and are eating breakfast together. Dominick finishes chewing his piece of bacon before he looks over at his son. "I think it was a huge success," he tells Tyler. "Of course, the final numbers are still being calculated to see how Robertson Enterprises did with the products being featured but I suspect that it was a very good night business wise." "That's great news," Tyler says back to his father as he takes a sip of his coffee. "I wish I could have been there." Dominick arches his eyebrow. "I'm curious to know where you were as you were expected to be at the gala." Tyler gets a slight grin on his face when he looks back at his Dad. "I have news for you Dad and I hope you're ready to hear this." "News? What kind of news?" Dominick asks him back. "When I first came to Twin Peaks and pretended to be Johnny, I started seeing a girl," Tyler begins to reveal to his father. "This woman, she's married and she ended up pregnant. She continued to tell me that she was pregnant with her husband's child and I believed her. But Dad, the baby, he's mine. I'm a father you're a grandfather," Tyler finishes filling his father in. Dominick looks back at his son in shock by the story he was just told. "I don't know what to say," Dominick admits to him. "That's an awful lot to take in son, but congratulations on the baby. You said he? The baby is a boy?" Tyler nods back to him. "I'm going to head back over to the hospital after breakfast." "Who is the mother of the child? Who is forever going to be a part of our family?" Dominick asks his son next. Tyler's eyes lock with Dominick's. "Kim Calimo," he says, as Dominick gets a wicked grin on his face. "You slept with Bob's wife?" Dominick asks him as he can't help but chuckle a little. "Tyler, Tyler, Tyler, you have outdone yourself this time." "I wasn't playing Kim," Tyler relies to him. "I have genuine feelings for her." Dominick nods back to him. "I couldn't be happier for you," Dominick says to his son. "I can't wait to meet my Grandson and when you see Kim, give her my best. This day just got a whole lot better!" Scene Three - Twin Peaks General Hospital Kim lays in her bed and looks over at her sleeping son, who is laying in the hospital crib next to her bed. She can't believe that she is a mother after the long pregnancy. Moreover, she can't believe that Bob knew about her affair with Tyler and that Tyler is actually the father of her baby. Her entire pregnancy she was so sure that Bob was the father of her baby; she can't believe that Bob secretly had a vasectomy and withheld it from her. Everything she thought was going on in her life is actually the complete opposite. "My sweet boy," she says to her sleeping child. "What are we going to do? Your father lied to me about who he really is and my husband lied to me about his medical procedures. Of course, I wasn't innocent by being with your father in the first place." Before Kim can say anything else, there is a knock on her hospital door and it slowly opens. Daisy peaks her head in the room with a grin on her face. "Kim, can I come in?" Kim smiles back to her friend. "Of course, Daisy, it's so nice of you to stop by." "How's the little guy?" Daisy asks, as she looks at the sleeping child. "He's so adorable!" "Thank you," Kim gushes back to her. "He is cute, isn't he? He seems to be doing just fine. I should be released from the hospital later today." "Vinny and I are so happy for you and Bob," she tells Kim, not realizing that Bob isn't the father of the baby. Kim nods back to her, not wanting to tell Daisy the entire story of the father of her child. "I sense that something else is troubling you Daisy. What's going on?" Daisy sighs as she sits next to Kim. Daisy recalls how the previous evening at the hospital gala she had to send Andy home in an Uber because he was drunk. Daisy wants to talk to Kim, Andy's sister, about Andy and how he is coping since Reese has passed. "If it's a bad time? I do want to talk to you about something and I think it's quiet serious," Daisy says as she looks at Kim. "I'm all ears, what's going on?" "It's about Andy," Daisy reveals to her. "I'm worried about him. I don't think he's handling Reese's death very well." Kim moves her hair behind her ear as she recalls how Andy showed up the day she was giving birth and he was drunk. Bob had to remove him and sent him home in a cab. While Kim has been busy with things in her own life, she knows that her brother is probably drinking a touch too much now that Reese is gone. "What happened that makes you think this?" Kim asks her. "Last night at the hospital gala, I saw Andy and he was pretty drunk. He couldn't even remember how many drinks he had consumed," Daisy reveals to her. "I sent him home in an Uber but, it's not like Andy to be such a heavy drinker." "I agree," Kim agrees with Daisy. "And you know, he showed up at the hospital drunk too, the day I gave birth. Thankfully, Bob found him and send him home." "Do you think he's drinking too much?" Daisy asks her point blank. Kim nods back to her. "He probably doesn't know how to cope without Reese and is turning to alcohol to numb his pain. But we should maybe talk to him and tell him that it's not healthy." "I think that would be a good idea," Daisy agrees with her. "We have to do something before this gets out of control." Scene Four - The Calimo Mansion Bob pours himself another cup of coffee before he walks into the living room of his mansion. He recalls how he was at the hospital with Kim when she went into labour. Tyler, of course, was also there and Kim allowed him to stay while she gave birth. After, Bob sent Andy home, he recalls how he saw a tender moment between Tyler and Kim and their new born son. While Bob tried to act like it didn't bother him, he knows that it did. He hates that his wife slept with Dominick's son and that they now have a child together. It's a tie that will never be broken between the two of them. "Damn you Dominick," Bob says as he grits his teeth together. "I know that Tyler said that you weren't involved in this but this has your name all over it. You did this because you knew that your son sleeping with my wife would really make me livid." Bob takes another drink of his coffee, wondering his next move. "I don't know how I will get you back for this Dominick but I will make sure you pay for this." He moves over to the fireplace mantel and looks at a picture of himself with Kim. He picks up the picture and looks at it closely. "What happened to us Kimberly? How the hell did we get to this point? You slept with another man, you have a child from another man," he says as he puts the picture back on the mantel. "How am I supposed to get over that? How will we ever be the same again?" Scene Five - The Sugarbowl Trenyce grabs the two latte's and moves to the back booth of the coffeehouse, sitting down across from Chris. She passes him a latte and looks at him, almost glaring at him as she can't believe what went down at the gala the night before. In front of her at the gala, Chris proposed to Savannah and she accepted. While Trenyce knows that Chris is hell bent on continuing this plan of his to woo Savannah in hopes of getting Andrew back, she really believes that he has taken it too far by asking Savannah to marry him. She doesn't know how or when this plan will end but she scared that everything will blow up in their face. "Thanks for the latte," Chris tells her as he takes a sip of the hot drink in front of him. "I didn't realize it was your turn to buy." "I needed time away from you so I could gather my thoughts," Trenyce quickly says back to him as he arches his eyebrow. "Why do I get the feeling that you're upset with me about something?" Chris replies to her with a sly grin on his face. "You didn't have a good time at the gala last night?" "It was great for business," Trenyce tells him quickly. "But the rest of the evening " "It was wonderful Trenyce," Chris says back to her. "I'm engaged to Savannah, you know what that means, don't you?" "Yes, it means that we are closer to the this plan blowing up in our faces," Trenyce snaps at him. "I don't know how many times I have to tell you this." "And I'm telling you Trenyce," he informs her. "I'm not going to stop now. We are so close to getting Andrew back, don't you realize that? Don't you realize that once I marry Savannah, I can prove that she is an unfit mother and then we can get our son back. Isn't that what you want?" Trenyce looks back at him and shakes her head a little. "I'm just scared that we will all be left hurt by this Chris. I don't know if this is all worth it." "Think of Andrew," Chris reminds her of the little boy she thought was her son for years. "And that should tell you that we are doing the right thing. We are so close T, we can't lose sight of that." Trenyce finds herself nodding back to him as she wipes a tear from her eye. Unbeknownst to both of them, Frederick is at the coffee bar putting some sugar into his coffee, watching the two talk. The intense conversation, however, makes Frederick wonder what they are talking about and if it impacts Savannah at all. "This isn't the first time I've seen you two together," he whispers to himself. "Something is going on here. I need to figure out what it is before Savannah gets hurt." Scene Six - The Pampa Grill "Hey, how was your visit with Kim?" Vinny asks Daisy as she down at the table where her fiancé is already sitting. Daisy looks at him and smiles. "Well, hello to you too," she says as she leans over and gives him a quick kiss. "Sorry, hi," he says back to her and then kisses her back. "I know you've been worried about Andy, I'm just wondering if Kim is on the same page." Daisy picks up the glass of water and takes a sip of it. "Thankfully," she starts to say back to him. "Kim realizes that there may be an issue with Andy and his drinking. Apparently, he showed up at the hospital after Kim gave birth and he was drunk." Vinny shakes his head and realizes that Andy must be in over his head. "Wow, the poor kid. I feel for him, you know? He and Reese had been through so much together and when they finally get it right and get back together, Reese got sick with cancer and within a few short months, Reese passed away. It's no wonder that Andy is taking this hard. He must feel like he has been hit by a truck or something." "I agree," Daisy replies to him. "But he has to realize that there is a positive grieving process and an unhealthy one." Daisy suddenly gets an idea and looks over at Vinny. "I just got an idea." "What?" "Could you talk to Meggan and see if she would talk to Andy? Maybe as a recovering alcoholic, Meggan could shed some light on this situation to Andy." Vinny looks back at his future wife as he thinks back to the previous night at the hospital gala when he saw Meggan kiss Jeff. He knows that Meggan had suggested to him that she and Jeff were growing closer but he certainly didn't think she would kiss him, especially since Jeff is still grieving the loss of Leah. "I don't think that's a good idea," Vinny quickly says back to her, causing Daisy to arch her eyebrow. "I don't think Meggan should be a part of this." Daisy looks back at him and wonders why Vinny is not keen on the idea of getting Meggan to help Andy. She picks up her water glass and takes another glass. "Well, I'm sure we'll come up with something," she says, knowing that she will have to get to the bottom of Vinny's change of heart about Meggan. *** "Here is the man of the hour," Eva smiles to Dominick as she leans over his chair and gives him a kiss on the cheek. "Darling, last night was an absolute success." Dominick smiles back to her as she moves to sit across from him. He knows that the hospital gala was a big night for Eva as it was her final night as the Chief of Staff at the hospital; she wanted her final night to be amazing and he is so pleased that he could help her with it. "Well, if I'm the man of the hour, you're certainly the woman of the hour," he says back to her. "How did you sleep last night?" "Amazingly well," she admits to him. "It felt so good giving up the position to Shane last night. I think everyone had a great time." "I couldn't agree more," he says back to her. "The sad part is that we didn't team up sooner. Both the hospital and Robertson Enterprises did very well at the gala last night." Eva shrugs to him. "At least we did it once," she says to him. "And now, we can focus on building our personal relationship together." "I love the sound of that," Dominick admits to her. Eva looks back at him and recalls how upset Dominick looked when he saw Felicia arrive at the gala with Frederick. She knows that Dominick is still protective of his wife because of her fragile mental state but Eva also knows that if she and Dominick want to move forward with their lives, he has to take the next step with Felicia. "Do you really?" she asks him. "Why would you question me?" he asks her, taken aback by her question. "Because you're still married to Felicia," she says to him. "If you are serious about moving forward with our lives I think it's time." "Time for what?" Dominick asks her. "For you to file for divorce from Felicia," she says, as their eyes lock on each other. Scene Seven - Twin Peaks General Hospital; The Cafeteria "Thanks for meeting me this morning," Natasha tells Adam as they sit across from each other in the empty cafeteria. She looks at the man that she has considered her friend for some time now and recalls how the previous night at the hospital gala, they took their relationship to another level when they had sex. Not only did they have sex, but they had sex on Shane's desk in his office upstairs. Natasha knew that she had to see Adam again today to make sure that they get some things straight. "It's fine," Adam says back to her. "I think we had to talk." Natasha nods back to him. "Yea, I agree. I wanted to talk to you about what happened last night." "Look, Nat," Adam quickly tells her. "I think we both just got caught up in this moment that was beyond us. I certainly don't want to ruin your marriage to Shane and I believe that you don't want to do that to Helen and I." "No, of course not," Natasha agrees with him. "What happened was a mistake. We can't let anyone ever find out what we did." Adam reaches over and grabs her hand. "Thank you," he whispers to her. "I'm glad that we are on the same page about this." Natasha wipes a tear that forms in her eye. "No one will ever know," she says back to him. "No one saw us. No one will ever know. That's how it has to be." "I agree," Adam says back to her. "No one will ever know." Scene Eight - The Black House; Adam, Helen & Dawn's Home "You haven't answered me Dawn," Helen says as she turns to face her daughter, holding a cup of coffee. "Who is trying to play our family for fools?" Dawn looks at her mother and gulps a little. "I think you must have misheard me," she says trying to think of an excuse to cover. She can't tell her mother what she saw between Adam and Natasha; how can she do that to her mother? Especially when she has no idea what it even meant. "I was saying that I can't wait for Grandpa to come home so we can be a family again. I guess I shouldn't talk to myself." Helen looks back at her and smiles at her daughter, completely oblivious to her daughter's torment. "I know you want Reg to come home and he will," Helen tells her. "I called the hospital this morning and the doctors told me that he is getting better every day. It shouldn't be long before he wakes up." "That's great," Dawn fakes a smile on her face. "I should probably get going. I'm supposed to start my candy striper job today. I'll see you later?" "Yea, of course," Helen tells her daughter, suddenly wondering what Dawn's rush is. "I hope it goes well today." Dawn quickly rushes out of the kitchen and moves into the living room, where she stops to catch her breath. She feels her heart racing a million times a minute. She has never had to lie to her mother before; she hates it, she hates everything about this situation. "This is all your fault Natasha," she says to herself, trying to keep composure. "You did this to my family." Next
