Scene One - Twin Peaks Courthouse

"Your honour," Lois Kam says to Judge Franklin Ross as she slowly stands up from her chair. "The State calls Paige Claus to the stand."

Paige feels the eyes of the courtroom shift towards her. She nervously stands up, looking back at Felicia. Felicia quickly grabs her Granddaughter's hand and squeezes it, giving her some support. Paige then looks over at Dawn, who uneasily smiles at her. Dawn hopes that Paige is strong enough to finish this plan; all she has to do is admit that she wanted to be with Shane and the trial should be over; at least, this is what Dawn hopes. Dawn knows that she is hoping that Paige will testify that she wanted to have sex with Shane so the trial will be dismissed; that way, Dawn can have some kind of revenge on Natasha for breaking up her family when she slept with Adam.

Paige slowly leaves her pew and walks towards the front of the court room, her heart racing a million times a minute. She remembers the last time she was called to testify in a court room when Jeff sued Robbie for half of Leah's estate. She longs for her mother to be with her right now; she feels like she could use her support more than ever before. This is the moment that she has been dreading; she knows that Dawn keeps telling her to tell everyone that she wanted to be with Shane, but what if that doesn't work? What will happen to Shane then? What will happen to her? She feels her mind racing a million miles a minute, and she has no idea how to keep herself calm.

"Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?" Judge Ross asks Paige, whose hand is on a bible.

Paige pauses for moment wondering what the truth even means anymore, since her lie has gotten completely out of control. "I…," she begins to say back. "I do."

"You may be seated," Judge Ross tells her, as Paige sits down.

"You're a beautiful young woman," Lois tells Paige. "This can't be easy for you."

Paige shakes head no. "Nothing about this is easy."

"I will keep my questions very short, then," Lois replies to her. "The night at the cabin, did you sleep with Shane Glubbs?"

Paige gulps. "Yes."

"No further questions," Lois says as she sits back down.

Paige feels some beads of sweat forming on her forehead. She quickly tells herself that technically, she did sleep with Shane; they were in the same bed together, so she didn't just lie under oath.

Josh Levitt stands up and moves closer to Paige. "Hi Paige," he begins to tell her as she gives him half a smile. "Like Ms. Kam, I can appreciate how difficult this is for you, but I do have to ask you some questions. Can you describe your relationship with Dr. Glubbs?"

"Oh, it's been wonderful. He has been a great boss. I've learned so much from him," Paige replies to Josh as she looks over at Shane. Their eyes lock and Paige has to look away; she can see the worry deep in his eyes.

"But, then your relationship changed, right?" Josh asks her. "You two started sharing kisses. Did you have a crush on Dr. Glubbs?"

Paige feels her cheeks blush with embarrassment. She pauses a moment longer before she responds. "I suppose I did, yes."

"The kisses that you shared with Dr. Glubbs," Josh continues to say to her. "Were you the one who initiated them?"

Paige looks at Robbie, who looks like he is fuming in his seat, and then over at Jeff. "I was, yes."

"Including the night at the cabin?"

Paige puts her head down. "Yes, I kissed him at the cabin."

"Did Shane stop you from going forward?" Josh asks her next.

Paige nods back to him. "He did every time. He always said we can't be more than just friends."

Josh looks at her in surprise of her admission since he knows that accordingly to Paige's story, Shane invited her upstairs the night of the cabin. "And, he did so again the night at the cabin?"

Paige nods back to him as she gulps. "Yes."

"But then, you ended up going upstairs with him. How did that happen?"

A tear falls down her face as she scans the people sitting in the court room looking at her. She sees Felicia, who looks upset by what she is hearing; next to her, is Dominick, who runs his hands over his face quickly. Next to her Grandfather is Jeff; she can see her father fighting back some tears in his eyes. Robbie, who is sitting next to Jeff, looks like he is about to blow a gasket. Then she looks over at Shane, who is worry-struck. She hates that the man she has a crush on is looking so sad and fearful that he will be spending a lot of time in jail. "I can't do this anymore," she whispers to herself. "I can't hurt everyone that I love so much."

"I didn't hear what you said, can you repeat it?" Josh asks her, moving closer to her.

"We didn't have sex!" Paige announces as everyone gasps in the crowd. "Shane and I, we never made love that night! It's all a big, big mistake!"

Scene Two - The Pampa Grill

Cory continues to look over Rebecca's shoulder at Robin and Adam, whom are sitting at a nearby table. Cory can see that Adam is holding Robin's hand, which makes his blood boil. He knows that Robin has left him and she is free to move on with her life but he was hoping that somehow, someway, they would work everything out and be together again. What he doesn't know, however, is that Robin just finished overhearing Cory ask Rebecca to move back in with him since Caroline is back. Cory's eyes move back to Rebecca, who is still holding an ice pack on his shin, which was kicked from Caroline so she could escape Cory's clutches. He still can't believe that Caroline is back in Twin Peaks; the crazed woman who tried to keep Robin in the mental institution and then shot him is back in their lives. He just wishes he knew why. What could she possibly want with them now?

"Are you feeling any better?" Rebecca asks him, causing him to snap out of his daze.

"Yea, I doubt I need more ice on it," he replies to her. "Thanks for your help."

"Of course," she smiles back to him. Suddenly, she hears her cell phone buzz. She grabs her purse and looks at an incoming text message from Melissa that tells her it's urgent.

"Is everything okay?" Cory asks her, noticing how upset she looks suddenly.

"Yea, I'm sure it is," Rebecca replies to him. "It's my Mother. I should go, if that's okay? I don't want to leave you if you still need me."

Cory looks over at Robin and Adam and then back at Rebecca. "Nah, I'll be fine. You go see Melissa."

"Thanks, I'll see you later?" she tells him as she leaves the booth.

Cory looks over at Adam and Robin a moment longer before he moves out of the booth. As he steps down, he grimaces a little, feeling some pain in his shin. He sees Robin stand up and move towards the washroom, so he moves over to the table where Adam is left sitting alone.

"Adam," he announces to the man at the table.

"Cory," Adam replies to him. "What brings you by?"

"I couldn't help but see you are with Robin. What's going on between you and my wife?" Cory asks him, trying to be as polite as possible.

Adam chuckles a little. "We are friends, Cory," he tells him. "You should know that she needs a lot of support right now, she's going through a lot."

Cory feels his face blush, knowing that Adam is commenting on him getting Rebecca pregnant. Cory nods and looks back at Adam. "I guess she does," Cory says back to him. "But given your history with married women, you better not overstep with Robin. That's the last thing she needs right now."

Adam chuckles back to him. "I don't think you're in any position to say what Robin does and doesn't need right now. Now, I think you should be gone before Robin gets back. She doesn't need to see you, and I know that first hand."

Cory gulps knowing that Adam is probably right, but he still hates that another man is telling him about his wife and her needs.

Scene Three - Twin Peaks Court House

The crowd in the court room continues to whisper as everyone is reeling from Paige's shocking admission.

"Paige, you don't have to lie to get him off the hook! He should pay for what he has done to you!" Robbie says as he stands up and looks at Paige. "It's okay, you don't have to be scared."

"I'm not scared," Paige replies to everyone, having reached her breaking point. "This is just a big mess that has gotten out of control!"

"Order in the court! ORDER!" Franklin yells at everyone. He sighs before he looks down at Paige. "Are you certain about your statement that you and Dr. Glubbs were not sexually involved?"

Paige nods back to him. "I'm sorry, I just thought that if Shane thought we were together that way, he would give me a chance. I never meant to hurt anyone," she says as tears fall down her face. "I…I just can't do this anymore!"

Dawn closes her eyes and realizes that her plan to get some kind of revenge on Natasha is falling apart in front of her eyes. She doesn't know what she is doing but she finds herself standing up. "This is all my fault," Dawn admits to everyone. "I was guiding Paige with this plan. It wasn't her idea, it was mine. I'm so sorry, Paige. I've been such a bad friend."

"No, you haven't," Paige says back to her. "You believed in me when I didn't believe in myself."

"I've heard enough!" Judge Ross says. "We are taking a short recess while I process everything that has happened."

Scene Four - Twin Peaks Executive Hotel; Suite 889

"I got here as soon as I could, what is the rush?" Rebecca asks as she opens the door to Caroline's hotel room and moves inside. She sees Caroline laying on the bed as Melissa puts a damp cloth on her forehead.

"Caroline has been cramping," Melissa reveals to her.

Rebecca quickly moves up to the bed, realizing how serious this is. If Caroline loses the baby, their entire plan will be ruined. She knows that is the very last thing that they need to have happen.

"Are you feeling now?" Rebecca asks Caroline as she comes up to her.

Caroline takes a deep breath. "Better," she reveals to her. "Your Mom has been helping me breathe. I think I just got overwhelmed by seeing Cory."

"Anything we can do to help, we have to make sure the baby is okay," Rebecca tells her.

"We know that, dear," Melissa snaps at her. "I'm thinking we should move Caroline out of the hotel so she's somewhere more secluded."

"That's a good idea," Rebecca breathes a sigh of relief. "We just have to ensure that baby is okay. Everything is riding on that."

Scene Five - Twin Peaks Courthouse

"Given the recent updates of the case," Judge Ross announces to everyone in the courtroom. "The case against Dr. Glubbs will be dismissed." Shane breathes a sigh of relief as Josh puts his arm around him. "That being said, I'm very disturbed by the events that occurred in this court room. I'm sentencing Dr. Glubbs, Paige Claus and Dawn Black to court-ordered therapy. We will meet again in a few weeks to iron out those details. Court dismissed!"

Shane smiles at Josh and stands up to hug him. "Thank you so much for everything," Shane smiles to him. "I can't wait to get out of here."

"I'm glad I could help," Josh replies to him.

"We are going to have a talk later on," Jeff tells Paige as he comes up to her, stunned by her confession still. He knew that Paige was feeling lost without Leah, but to lie about sleeping with Shane is very out of character for his daughter. Jeff only hopes that he will be able to get through to her about what she did and why it was wrong.

"I know," Paige replies to him quietly, her eyes damp from all the tears she shed. "I just want to get out of here, okay?"

"I know, let's go," Jeff tells her as he moves behind her and they leave together.

Shane looks at the police officer, as he signs his release papers from jail. He has never felt so free before in his life. He isn't going back to the jail cell where he had been.

"I can't believe it," he whispers to himself. He turns around to leave and sees Natasha waiting in the back of the court room. His mind goes back to her testimony where she admitted the thought Shane was guilty.

"Congratulations," she whispers to him as he comes up to her.

"Excuse me," he walks by her. "I want to get home and go see my son."

"I could come with you?"

"No, I want to be alone," he coldly replies to her. She sighs as he leaves the court room. She covers her mouth as she fights the tears in her eyes, knowing that her testimony could cost her marriage. But given the circumstances, she had no reason to believe that Paige was lying.

"How will I make you realize that I still believe in you?" she asks herself as she wipes a tear from her face.
