on One Day at a Time Scene One - St. Joseph's Church Dominick stands at the alter as the wedding march begins to play. He takes a deep breath and looks out into the crowded church and sees Felicia putting her head down for a moment. He knows that he is about to marry Eva but he also wishes nothing but the best for his ex-wife. They've been through so much together. He believes that they'd still be together had she not fallen out of love with him. He turns his focus to the back of the church as Victoria emerges and slowly begins to walk down the aisle. As Victoria moves towards the alter, she makes eye contact with Robbie, who is sitting next to Kim. She wonders what, exactly, is going on between the two of them. She and Robbie made plans to talk after the wedding, so she hopes to get to the bottom of it then. She also hopes that she and Robbie will be able to patch things up and get back together. Seeing a wedding, where love prevails, should help her cause, she tells herself. Natasha is next to walk down the aisle. She looks towards Shane and she can feel her heart ache inside for her marriage that is falling apart. She knows that she is to blame because she didn't believe in Shane after Paige announced that she and Shane had sex. As she moves along, she wonders how she can put her marriage back together since Shane asked her for a divorce earlier in the day. The last thing she wants is for her marriage to end. Everyone in attendance stands up when Eva emerges at the back of the church. She beams as she moves closer to Dominick, looking at her fiancé and realizing how much she loves him. She turns her head a little and happens to see Frederick and Felicia sitting side by side. She quickly turns back towards the front of the church, not wanting to be upset by seeing them; she knows that Frederick is right, all she has to do is get married and she will be home free from the secret she is keeping with Frederick. "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the union between this man and woman," Father Murphy announces as Eva arrives at the alter and grabs Dominick's hand. "Is there anyone whom objects to these two joining together in holy matrimony? Speak now, or forever hold your peace." There's a brief silence in the room before Father Murphy continues. "Very well, let's continue. Dominick and Eva have agreed to pledge their love for one another and move into a life of togetherness. They have each written their own vows. Dominick, would you care to start?" Dominick smiles up to Father Murphy before looking back at Eva. He quickly looks out at Felicia and then back to Eva. "You helped me realize that there is always a second chance," he begins to say, as Felicia puts her head down fighting tears in her eyes. "There was a long time in my life when I didn't think it was possible to love again but then you came into my life. You're more than just a good woman; you're this radiant light in my life. I never realized how dark my world was until you came into it. And, today, I am the luckiest man in the world because I know that I will never be alone in the dark again. I love you, so very much, Eva." Eva wipes her eye as she looks up at Dominick. "Dominick, this road we've been on has not been an easy one, to say the least. There's been a lot of ups and downs and back around again," she laughs a little. "But the constant, is that we are together on the journey. No matter what life throws at us, I know I can reach for your hand and you'll be there and we'll conqueror it together. That's why I'm so happy to be marrying you today, because it seems like we will be really good at this marriage thing! I love you, and I am so excited for our journey to continue." Following the moving vows by Dominick and Eva, the two exchange formal vows with Father Murphy. "By the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride," Father Murphy smiles to the couple as Dominick leans in and kisses Eva passionately. The crowd stands up and claps for the couple, as Felicia uneasily looks over at Frederick, wondering why she feels so upset about Dominick marrying Eva. Scene Two - The Calimo Mansion "Everyone seemed to leave the church pretty quickly after the wedding was over," Kim tells Robbie as she opens the front door to the Calimo mansion and they move inside. "I'm guessing they went to the Pampa Grill for the reception," Robbie replies to her. "It was a nice wedding though, huh?" She turns around to face him and licks her lips. She knows that they agreed to finally be together after the wedding so they raced back to the mansion as soon as the ceremony was over. She wants this, whatever it may be, badly. She can't get it out of her mind; the fact that she and Robbie planned to meet after the wedding. "Do you really want to talk about the wedding all afternoon?" He smiles and moves closer to her, thrilled that she wants it just as much as he does. "No," he admits to her as he kisses her. "I think this is much more what I had in mind." She runs her hands through his hair as he starts to kiss her neck. She moans a little. "Oh Robbie," she gasps. "Make love to me, please. I need you so badly." He picks her up and kisses her as he carries up the large stair case, heading towards the bedroom. Scene Three - St. Joseph's Church Trenyce rushes up the stairs of the church and quickly opens the door. She stops and looks around, giving herself time to catch her breath as she has raced from Tyler's house to the church in hopes of speaking to Dominick before he can marry Eva. She has to tell everyone about the subliminal messages that are on Felicia's IPod telling her that she doesn't love Dominick anymore. The more Trenyce has thought about it, the more she is convinced that Frederick is behind it. And, she knows that Dominick should know the truth before he marries Eva. As she looks around the church, however, she realizes that it's empty. She moves from the foyer into the sanctuary and continues to see no one. There are traces of the wedding, however, with decorations still on the end of every pew. "I'm too late," she whispers to herself, feeling deflated. "Dominick and Eva are married; I didn't get her on time." Before she can say anything else, she feels her phone chime telling her she has a text message. She grabs her purse and sees the message from Tyler that reads. "Wedding was a success; at Pampa Grill now. C U l8r" Trenyce puts her phone back in her bag. "You'll see me sooner than you think," she tells herself as she turns and leaves the church, deciding to head over to the Pampa Grill to tell Tyler the truth. Scene Four - The Pampa Grill "Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. and Mrs. Dominick Robertson!" Natasha says into the microphone as everyone claps as the reception of the wedding begins. Eva and Dominick move into the middle of the room and start to dance together to a slow love song. "I can't believe that we are married," she smiles to him before he twirls her around. "Believe it baby," he says back to her. "We are together now, forever." She kisses him passionately. "I love the sound of that." *** "I'm so happy for Mom," Donovan tells Victoria as he passes her a glass of champagne. "I know, me too," she replies to him before she takes a sip of her bubbles. "Are you still upset about Robbie? You look distracted," he tells his sister, noting that she's watching everyone that comes into the reception. "He told me that we could talk at the reception," she admits to Donovan. "I just haven't seen him here yet." Donovan arches his eyebrow. "That's odd, I wonder where he could be?" *** At the Calimo mansion, Robbie lays on top of Kim right before he reaches a climax. He lets out a loud grunt, as Kim presses her finger nails into his back. He then looks down at her with a smile on his face and then kisses her passionately. He is sweaty and he rolls over to his back, allowing himself to catch his breath. A part of him can't believe what just happened; he made love with Kim. "Well, that was great," she whispers to him, feeling more than satisfied by the sex. She needed it more than she realized she had. He smiles back to her, trying to contain his excitement. "Yea, it's exactly what I needed." "Mmm, me too," she purrs. *** Back at the Pampa Grill, the reception continues as people pick up their glasses of champagne and continue celebrate the moment. Andy grabs a glass of sparkling water and approaches Craig, who is grabbing another glass of champagne. "Nice wedding, huh?" Andy asks him with a grin on his face. He hasn't seen his doctor friend since he announced that Lukas had left town. "Yea, it was nice," Craig replies to him. "I like when good things happen to good people." "Me too," Andy agrees with him. "How are you holding up with Lukas having left town?" "Oh, I'm fine," Craig tells him. "I ended things with Lukas right before he left, so I'm in a good place now. I was tired of him playing Donovan and I. I'm just ready to focus on me and my life." "That's fair," Andy replies to him. "I just hope he figures everything out while he is away." "He will, but in the meantime, I'm moving on." "What does that mean?" Craig looks over at Donovan. "I have a date with Donovan," Craig smiles back to him. "And, I plan on making it amazing." *** "You were quiet on the drive over here," Meggan tells Jeff as she sips on some water. "Is everything okay?" Jeff sighs and looks back at his fiancé. He knows that nothing is really okay right now; right before the wedding, Paige learned of their engagement, and she didn't take the news very well. He had hoped that after the trial, Paige would be more receptive to the idea of Jeff and Meggan being together but that's obviously not the case. And, the last wedding that Jeff was at, was his own to Leah a few years ago. He can't help but have a lot of memories of that day in Lake Tahoe; everything that has happened has come back to him all of a sudden, and he feels his sadness all over again. "Earth to Jeff," she waves her hand in front of his face. "Where did you go? What's wrong?" "Sorry," he replies with half a grin. "I guess I was just thinking." "About Paige?" she asks him, knowing that he must have been upset by her reaction to their engagement. "Yea, and about Leah," he admits to her. "The last wedding I was at " "Was yours," she finishes his sentence as she lets out a large sigh. "Will this ever end?" "What?" he asks her. "I feel like I'm still coming between you and Leah," she tells him. "And I hate it. I really hate it." *** "Hey, I'm glad I ran into you," Helen announces to Adam as they stand by the bar, grabbing some champagne. "I wanted to talk to you about something." "Did Chris mention our talk before the wedding? Because, I won't apologize for that," Adam quickly replies to her, recalling him warning Chris not to hurt Helen. "No," she says back to him as she arches her eyebrow. "I trust you two boys don't need a referee?" "Not as long as he listens to what I said to him," he winks back to her. "What's up then? Is it about Dawn? She said she'd like to talk, but I think we should wait until after the reception, don't you?" "It is about our marriage," Helen reveals to him, causing him to look back at her with intent. "I just got a call from my lawyer," she continues to tell him. "Our divorce, it's been finalized." "It happened so fast," he replies to her, suddenly feeling sad about what happened. "Look, for what it's worth Helen, I know you want to move on and I'm trying to accept that. But, I will always care about you. Always, and nothing will ever change that." Helen feels her eyes swell with water. "I feel the same, Adam. I feel the exact same." *** Trenyce comes inside the restaurant and looks around. She can see Eva and Dominick still dancing away and Felicia and Frederick sitting at a nearby table. She moves inside the ball room and Tyler comes up to her, quickly, after spotting Trenyce enter the room. "Hey, you decided to come," he says with a grin on her face. "The wedding was really beautiful." "I'm glad," she says with half a smile on her face. "What's wrong? I can tell that something isn't right with you, are you okay?" Trenyce shakes her head. "No, I'm not. And after you hear what I'm going to tell you, you won't be okay either." Next
