Scene One - Twin Peaks General Hospital

"Why are you here after everything you've done to me?" Bob asks his son, as he lays in the hospital bed, suffering from a concussion from the car accident he and Victoria were involved in after Robbie revealed that he slept with Kim to get revenge on Bob for his role in Leah's death. Bob was absolutely devastated to learn that his son is so upset with him that he decided to sleep with his wife to get back at him. Not only did he hurt Bob, but he used Kim and caused friction in their marriage.

"I've been asking myself the same thing since I found out about the accident," Robbie admits to his father, as he comes closer to the bed. "I've just felt so awful about everything that has happened. I've been such an asshole."

"We've all made mistakes," Bob replies to him. "I think we both can acknowledge that. But Robbie," Bob continues to tell his son. "No matter what you do to me, or what you think you are doing to me, it will never bring her back. Leah is gone for us, for all of us, forever."

Robbie puts his head down as a tear falls down his down his cheek. He knows everything Bob is saying is true; for so long, he has wanted to get back at someone for hurting Leah and that person was Bob. Now that he has completed that goal, he hasn't felt any better; in fact, he has felt a lot worse.

"We have to end this anger and this hatred," Bob continues to tell his son, who weeps a little. "I still love you, my boy. Can we move past all of this? Can you find it in your heart to forgive me?"

Robbie looks up at his Dad with damp eyes. "Can you forgive me?" he says as he tries not to choke on his words.

"Of course I can," Bob replies to him as Robbie moves closer and the two share a hug. "I love you, I will always love you. That's what family is."

"I love you too, Dad," Robbie admits to him as they embrace. "I'm sorry for everything. I want to move forward."

"Good, because that's what I want too," Bob agrees with him as they exit their embrace.

Before either one can say anything else, the door to the hospital room opens and Kim emerges in the hospital room. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything," she says as she looks at the two men in the room, as she feels her heart move into her throat, seeing the two men that have caused her so much pain lately.

Scene Two - Cassie's Office

The Birks building on Main street is the building in which Frederick's office is on the top floor. Frederick only occupies half of the space, so the other half is now being used as Cassie's office. She looks around the space and gets a sly grin on her face, impressed with the office space. She recalls the image of Shane seeing her in the court room after she was appointed his therapist, and it was priceless. She has been out of Twin Peaks for a number of years, so coming back and seeing everyone that was in her life before is a huge change for her. She couldn't be more thrilled to be back; it seems like, in many ways, nothing has changed in the city but at very same time, everything has changed. In the back of her mind, she can't help but think that Shane still looked devilishly handsome in court. And soon, she smiles to herself, he'll be laying on my sofa telling me all of this feelings.

She hears a knock on the door so she stands up from her desk and moves towards it. On the other side, she sees Dawn standing there, looking a little nervous. "Dawn, please come in," Cassie welcomes the young woman into her office. "Before we get started, I know that you're probably nervous and a little freaked out that you have to be here."

"That's an understatement," Dawn admits to her. "I'm only here because the Judge told me I had to come."

"I know, that's how it will be," Cassie replies to her. "But, I want you to know that I'm here to help you with anything at all that you want to talk through. That's what this is really about. It's not about me telling you want you did was wrong. I'm not going to judge you."

"I appreciate that, thank you," Dawn smiles back to her, nervously.

"Good, let's begin, shall we?"

Scene Three - The Pampa Grill

"Do you think therapy will help Dawn get over any of these insecurities she has about you moving on?" Chris asks Helen as they sit side by side in a booth at the restaurant. Chris knows that Dawn isn't very keen on the idea of her mother moving on with him; to the extent that she delayed coming home because she saw Helen and Chris in the afterglow of making love for the first time. That being said, Chris is hoping that the court-ordered therapy will help Dawn come to terms with the fact that her parents are moving on with their lives following their finalized divorce. Plus, he recalls Helen telling him she's moving on regardless of how Dawn feels.

"I sure hope so," Helen admits to him, knowing that she was rather upset when Dawn ran out of the house after she saw Helen and Chris together. "There's nothing more I want than for Dawn to come around to the idea of you and I."

Chris smiles back to her. "I like the idea of you and me."

Helen grins back to him as she kisses him softly on the lips. "I like the idea of you us too," she purrs back to him. She's about to kiss him again when her cell phone vibrates with an incoming text message. "Whoever that is, has terrible timing."

As Helen checks her phone, Chris looks up and sees Trenyce approaching their table. He recalls how they just found out that Meggan has a potential lead on finding their biological child, something that both of them have been wanting for some time now.

"Trenyce, hey," Chris says as she arrives at their table.

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything," she replies to them.

Helen looks up from her phone and over at Chris. "Not at all," she tells them. "I actually have to go, this is urgent. We'll catch up later?" she asks Chris, who nods back to her. She gives him another quick kiss on the lips before she departs.

"Seems like things are moving along nicely with you too," Trenyce observes out loud to Chris, even though the sight of him kissing another woman still makes her feel odd inside. She realizes that she must still have some kind of lingering feelings for him.

"They are," he replies to her quickly. "But you look like you have something else on your mind. What's going on?"

"I haven't been able to stop thinking about our meeting with Meggan," she admits to him as she sits down across from him. "The fact that she has a lead on our child."

"It's been on my mind too, it's impossible for it not to be."

"I'm just scared," she reveals to Chris. "I'm scared I'll get my hopes up only for them to be dashed. I don't know if this was a good idea. What if it doesn't work?"

"What if it does?" he asks her. "Then we get our child back. Look, I know it's not going to be easy, but we have to take this chance. What other options do we have?"

Trenyce nods as some water fills her eyes. "You're right, of course, you're right."

"Hey, don't be upset, okay?" he tells her as he squeezes her hand. "We are in this together. We will get through this as a team."

At the bar, Frederick takes a sip of his whiskey as he looks over and watches the interaction go on between Chris and Trenyce. His mind races back to him asking Meggan to help him get Chris off his back and to send the two of them on a goose chase to find their child. Frederick would like nothing more than to hold up Savannah's name by ensuring that Chris and Trenyce never see Andrew again, but moreover, never find their child again. He knows that he's asking a lot from Meggan, but he hopes that his daughter comes through for him.

"There you are," Meggan announces as she comes up to her father. "Your secretary told me where I could find you."

"Ah, sweetheart," Frederick turns and faces his daughter. "I was hoping I'd see you again soon. Have you given any thought to what I suggested earlier today?"

"I have," Meggan quickly replies to him, still surprised that he suggested that he send Chris and Trenyce on a wild goose chase. "And, I can't do it, Dad. I can't lie to my clients. I have my reputation to uphold."

"But," Frederick starts to say back to her.

"No," she cuts him off. "I've made up my mind. Please respect that," Meggan tells him before she turns around and leaves. She didn't want to stay around to give Frederick the chance to try to talk her mind out of it. She knows that she did the right thing; Frederick will just have to understand that.

Back at the bar, Frederick takes another sip of his whiskey before he gets a devilish grin on his face. "I know just the way to get you to change your mind," Frederick says to himself as he thinks of a way to get Meggan to help him.

Shane sits at his table, his mind racing about everything that has happened the last few days. He is still shocked that his therapist that he has to see because of the outcome of his trial with Paige is Cassie Nova. The woman who tormented him and Natasha for so many years is back in his life; he just hopes that things will be different this time and that she's not still obsessed with him. The fact that she's back, with her own face, is somewhat of a relief to him because the last time Cassie was in town, she had undergone plastic surgery to look like Helen. He just doesn't know her being back means for his future. He is scared, by what it could mean, however.

"I have to tell Natasha," he tells himself as he pulls out his phone. "She has to know that Cassie is back. I just hope that she isn't still at the hospital dealing with Bob because she has to hear this from me."

"Thanks for meeting with me today," Jeff tells Meggan as she arrives at his table and sits across from him, fresh from seeing her father at the bar. He knows that the last time they saw each other, at Dominick and Eva's wedding, she was not happy with him because he admitted that he was thinking about Leah, and Paige, who wasn't thrilled to find out about their engagement. Meggan was so frustrated, that she told Jeff that it was over between the two of them. Jeff certainly hopes that it is not the case because he does love Meggan; he just needs her to understand that Leah will always be a part of his life, even in death. "I didn't think you would actually show up."

Meggan picks up her water glass and takes a sip. "I had to see my Dad, he's at the bar. I thought I could hit two birds with one stone."

"Well, for whatever reason it is, I'm glad you're here. You look good," he replies to her. "I've missed you."

She arches her eyebrow as she sets her water glass down. "Have you really?"

"Of course I have," he tells her. "I do love you, Meggan. I'm sorry that I upset you the other day but you have to realize that Leah will always be in my heart. You're not coming between us, that's impossible, but a part of me will always love her and I will think about her from time to time. You have to respect that."

Suddenly, Meggan feels horrible for the way she treated Jeff. She should know that he will always think of his dead wife and Noah, for that matter. "You're right," she acknowledges. "I shouldn't have made you choose, or even suggest that."

"I have an idea," he smiles back to her as he reaches over and grabs her hand. "How about we put this foolishness aside and focus on what really matters: each other and getting married?"

She smiles back to him. "I love the sound of that," she admits to him as he stands up and comes over to give her a kiss on the lips. "If you'll still have me, that is."

"I will definitely still have you," he winks back to her.

Scene Four - The Sugarbowl

"It sounded urgent, your text, what's going on?" Helen asks Adam as she finds him in the back booth of the coffeehouse. She can see that something serious has happened, it's written all over his face. They spent so much time married, she can read him like a book.

Adam looks back at his ex-wife and knows that he has to tell her the latest on-goings in his life; Dawn's friend, Max, has told him that he is his son. Adam almost can't believe because that means that Cassie Nova must be back in town, because Max told him that Dawn is staying with him and his mom. Adam is just scared what Cassie's return means for them and how he will try to get Max back into his life.

"It is serious," he replies to her as he takes a sip of his latte. "I need you to brace yourself, okay?"

"Adam, goodness, what is going on? I haven't seen you like this before."

"Have you met Max, Dawn's friend?" Adam asks her.

Helen shakes her head. "She's mentioned him a few times but I don't think I've ever actually met him. Why do you ask?"

"He told me something yesterday," Adam begins to tell her. "That he's my son."

Helen feels the blood drain from her face. "How is that even possible?"

"Cassie Nova," Adam replies to her. "When she left town, she was pregnant with my baby," Adam fills in Helen's memory, as she starts to put the pieces together.

"My God," Helen whispers back to him horrified. "Does that mean that Cassie is back? Does she still have my face?"

Adam shrugs. "I have no idea, but I thought you needed to know. We have to be prepared to deal with Cassie again. And, I have to figure out a way to get Max into my life."

"If this is even true," Helen quickly tells him, wondering if this is all a scheme created by Cassie to create havoc within their lives.

"I don't know why he would lie," Adam replies to her.

"He may not but Cassie certainly would!"

"You're right," Adam agrees with her. "We just have to make sure we have our guards up now. There's no telling what Cassie will do now that she's back.

Scene Five - Cassie's Office

"So, how do you feel about your parents right now?" Cassie asks Dawn, as they sit across from each other in the office and Cassie is holding a note book, writing down some notes as Dawn speaks.

Dawn sighs as she thinks about the question that was just asked of her. She knows that she hates that her parents have divorced and that Helen is moving on so quickly with Chris. She just wishes that things could go back to the way they used to be, even though she knows that they will never go back to how they were. "I guess I just wish that things could be different," Dawn tells her. "You know? I was ready to move home, only to find out that my Mom is already sleeping with someone else … it just seems like no one cares about the family, you know?"

"I realize that," Cassie says back to her. "You know, I don't know if you know this, but I helped raise you for a little while when you were a baby."

Dawn nods back to her. "Yea, my parents mentioned that to me. You don't seem like the woman they described, though."

"I'm not," Cassie tells her. "I've changed. I'm not that woman anymore, and now that you're staying with Max and I, and you're my patient, anytime you feel like you can't talk to your parents, I hope you know you can come to me. I'm here for you, okay?"

"I feel like I can trust you," Dawn admits to her. "You've done nothing but listen to me about my problems without judgement. It's so different than my Mom and Dad."

Cassie smiles at her. "That's because I am different than them," Cassie says to her. "Look, our time is up, but I think we made really good head way here today. I'll see you later, at home, okay?"

"Yea, okay," Dawn tells her as she stands up. Cassie watches her the girl walk out the door and then grabs her hands together, thrilled by how well the first session went.

Scene Six - Twin Peaks General Hospital

"I got your message," Natasha tells Shane as she walks into his office at the hospital. "You made it sound urgent, I hope it is because I was just on my way to see my Dad."

"Close the door," Shane tells her as Natasha listens to his instruction. "You have to promise me not to freak out when I tell you this."

"Is it Jacob? He is okay?" Natasha asks him, immediately worried about her son.

"No, he's fine," Shane says as he stands up and moves closer to his estranged wife. "Remember how the Judge sentenced me to court-ordered therapy?" he asks her as Natasha nods back to him. "Well, I met my therapist and you won't believe who it is."

Natasha shakes her head in confusion. "Who is it?"

"Cassie Nova," Shane tells her as Natasha covers her mouth in shock. "She's back. She had surgery to look like her normal self again."

"How is this possible? Why would the Judge place you with a woman that tormented us?" she asks him, stunned by his news.

"Maybe he doesn't know."

"Well, I'll tell him!" Natasha yells, clearly not happy that Cassie is back. If anything, she's terrified because she knows everything that Cassie did the last time she was in town.. "That woman cannot be coming back into our lives! I've been so worried that the day would happen eventually and now that it has, I will do anything to stop her, Shane. I simply won't let her ruin us again!"

***

"Kimberly," Bob whispers as his wife comes into the hospital room. "I was wondering when I'd see you."

Kim gulps again looking at the two men that she is involved with right now. She still feels a sense of embarrassment that she slept with Robbie while Bob was away. She just had no idea that Robbie was using her.

"Yea, I was looking forward to seeing you to," Robbie admits to Kim.

"Were you? After the way you both have treated me, I'm wondering why I'm even here myself," Kim tells them. "I should go."

"Kim wait," Robbie calls out after her, causing her to stop at the door and turn around. "You can't go. Not until we get a few things straight."
