Scene One - Twin Peaks Police Department

Simona Lopez sits at her desk and reviews the notes that she took when she visited Frederick in his hospital room earlier in the day. She uncovered that he knows who shot him; but she has to figure it out, because she realizes that Frederick may not survive, and if that happens, she still has to make his shooter pay for their crime.

The only problem is, she realizes, is that the list of suspects is rather long. She has obtained a copy of the video surveillance from the entrance way to Frederick's office from the of the shooting and she has watched it many times over again. She knows that he had a different visitor almost every half hour of the day of the shooting, leading up to 7:00 pm when he was shot by the unknown gunman.

"The list is long," she whispers to herself, thinking about the suspect list. She starts making a list of everyone that went to see Frederick that day; Lukas, Andy, Donovan, Craig, Andrew, Meggan, Victoria, Robbie, Jeff, Leah, Paige, Felicia, Dominick, Eva, Chris, Trenyce, Jemma, Daisy and Vinny were all in Frederick's office at some point of the day. Depending on what they all spoke about, Simona knows that anyone of them could potentially have had motive to want Frederick dead.

"Now, the question is," she continues to whisper to herself. "Which one of these people wanted Frederick dead?"

Scene Two - The Sugarbowl

"Hey, fancy meeting you here," Tyler announces to Trenyce as he walks up to her as she sits in the back booth of the coffee house with a latte. He hasn't seen her since he told her that he didn't want to have sex with her again because of his feelings for Kim.

Trenyce looks up and nods back to her former lover. "I'm alone if you want to join me," she purses her lips together. "And don't worry, I won't hit on you again."

He chuckles as he sits across from her. "You know, I never minded when you hit on me. It's just…"

"I know, I get it," she tells him. "You think you and Kim have a chance at happiness. I'm happy for you, and I hope that it works out. We both knew going in that we were only going to be friends with benefits."

He smirks back to her. "You know, you're kind of a dream girl. So many guys would love to have a girl who is okay with friends with benefits. If I didn't love Kim…"

"Then, I'd probably want something more concrete with you," she chuckles to him. "Hey, did you happen to hear about Frederick Richardson?"

Tyler gulps a little before he takes a sip of his coffee as he thinks back to visiting Frederick the day of the shooting, and threatening him for keeping Leah in Santa Barbara and for brainwashing Felicia. "Awful, isn't it?"

Trenyce nods back to him, also recalling how she threatened him because of his plan to send her and Chris on a wild goose chase when they were trying to locate their child. "After everything that man did to the people of Twin Peaks, I'd say he got what he deserved."

Tyler smiles again back to her. "I can't help but agree," he admits to her. "I just don't want anyone else to hear us saying that. It could lead to people asking questions that we don't want to answer."

"My lips are sealed," she winks back to him.

Scene Three - The Pier

Kim strolls down the pier looking out at the frozen river, her mind racing about what she should do next with her dilemma. She knows that she has to keep Bob from learning the truth that she was the one who gave Roboto's formula for the facial cream to Robertson Enterprises and when she went to meet Tyler to see what he wanted for her silence, he told her he wanted one more night of sex between the two of them.

Even though the initial shock has worn off, Kim still can't believe that he would suggest such a thing. If anyone ever found out that they were together again, she knows that her marriage would be over.

"But if I don't do it," she whispers to herself. "He can go to Bob and my marriage will still be over."

She realizes that she is officially between a rock and a hard place with this decision that she has to make. If she sleeps with Tyler, she could lose everything. And, if she doesn't, she could still lose everything.

"The question is," she continues to whisper to herself. "What the hell I am going to do?"

Scene Four - The Black House; Helen & Barbara' Home

"Are you sure you'd like me to be here?" Chris asks Helen as she opens a bottle of red wine and pours two glasses.

She passes him one and sits next to him. "Of course," she smiles to him. "Look, the damage has been done with Dawn running away. I can't make her come back here if she doesn't want to be here. What I can do, is show her that I'm going to live my life the way I want to live my life and that she can't dictate to me who I can and can't see."

Chris nods back to her impressed by her answer. "And, what happens when she comes back home and she's still not happy that you're seeing me?"

"She has to adjust," Helen informs him. "Adam and I, we had a great marriage but that's over now. I'm not going to be alone for the rest of my life. She has to realize that. She's old enough to accept that her parents didn't make their marriage work. "

"Have there been any leads at all on her whereabouts?"

"No," Helen admits to him. "And you know what, I am worried about her. But, I have to believe that she is okay."

"You look tense," he observes to her as he sets his wine glass done. "Do you think you'll hear anything more tonight?"

She shakes her head no. "Probably not," she replies to him. "Have you heard anything about Frederick Richardson?"

Chris nervously shakes his head no to her, trying to hide how he is really feeling about the shooting. He knows he threatened Frederick the day of the shooting. No one else can ever know about this. "I just know he's not doing so well. I don't really want to talk about that though," he admits to her. "How about I try to take away some of your stress," he smiles as he comes and kisses her on the lips.

"Do you want me to stop?" he asks her as their lips part.

"No," she replies as she kisses him again. "Make love to me."

Scene Five - The Tower's; Floor Two; Shelley's Condo

"Dawn?" Shelley calls out down the hallway of her condo, as she sees Dawn's bedroom door closed. She wants to know if the young girl wants to eat with her because she made more than enough for both of them.

The bedroom door opens and Dawn peaks her head out of the room. "Hey," she manages to say with a yawn coming out of her mouth. "I must have fallen asleep."

"You were out on the street for a while," Shelley replies to her. "I'm glad that you're getting rested now. You want some grub? I'm have a pot of chili cooking."

"I'm starving so I'd love some," Dawn admits as she walks down the hallway and into the kitchen. "I have to thank you again for letting me stay here. You're a complete stranger, but you let me into your home without any questions asked."

Shelley grabs a couple of bowls and starts to serve the chili. "Let's just say, I've been in your shoes."

Dawn turns around from grabbing some glasses and looks at Shelley. "You lived on the streets?"

Shelley nods back to her. "For a little bit, yes," Shelley admits to her. "I was young, like you, and my parents, they kicked me out."

Dawn looks back at her in shock as they sit at the table together. "Why would your parents kick you out of the house? That seems really harsh."

Shelley swallows her first mouthful of chili before she looks back at Dawn. "Do you remember where we were when we met?"

Dawn shakes her head. "Once you're in the allies, they all look similar."

"Barcode," Shelley reminds her. "The gay bar in town."

Dawn shakes her head in confusion. "I'm not sure I understand," Dawn admits to her. "Why does it matter that you work at Barcode?"

"I'm a lesbian," Shelley reveals to Dawn. "My parents kicked me out of the house when I came out to them."

"Oh Shelley," Dawn gasps. "I'm so sorry that happened to you."

"It's fine kid," Shelley smiles back to her. "It was a long time ago, I'm fine. My parents got over it, they are fine. I'm just saying, I offered you a place because I've been in your shoes. I understand where you are coming from."

Dawn feels her face blush a little. "Well, thank you again. I promise that I won't stay very long."

"Nonsense, you're good for me. I feel like I'm paying it forward you, you know what I mean? You're welcome to stay as long as you need," Shelley smiles back to her, as they continue to eat chili.

Scene Six - Robertson Enterprises; The Studio

"Thanks again for the late lunch," Robin tells Adam as they move inside the studio, fresh from the Pampa Grill. Robin has been so preoccupied with her marriage to Cory falling apart and Melissa and Rebecca's plan being exposed that she has really come to enjoy her friendship with Adam because he is always there for her, no questions asked.

"You know I always enjoy spending time with you," he smiles back to her. He looks around the studio and doesn't see anyone else inside. "Hey, while I'm here, can I ask you something?"

"Of course you can," she replies to him.

"How are things going with Max? Is he doing a good job?" Adam asks her, knowing that Robin agreed to give his son a job as a photographer at the company.

Robin nods back to him. "He had his first shoot the other day and he did a very good job," she informs him. "Come look at some of these shots."

Adam moves up closer to Robin and looks at some of the prints that Max took. They smile and point to a couple of photos as Max enters the studio. This is the second time that Max has now seen Robin and Adam in a seemingly close position as he thinks back to seeing them holding hands at the Pampa Grill. He shakes his head in frustration, wondering what Robin sees in Adam and not him. He recalls that he tried to kiss Robin but she pushed him away recently. In Max's mind, he would be a better fit for her than Adam would be but he knows that he has to tread carefully.

"Am I interrupting anything?" Max announces to his father and boss as he walks into the studio.

"Not at all," Adam tells him. "Robin was just showing me your pictures. These are very good son, I'm impressed."

Max tries not to roll his eyes back to Adam. "Thanks?" he asks him, not sure if he should be happy that Adam is impressed or insulted that his Dad didn't believe in him in the first place.

"I'm really happy that you've decided to try this career path, Max," Adam continues to tell him. "I hope that this will bring us closer together."

Max looks back at Robin. "I hope I get what I want by working here," he cryptically tells Adam. "Everything that I want."

"So do I son," Adam nods back to him, unaware of that Max really wants Robin and only Robin.

Scene Seven - The Tower's; The Penthouse; Cory's Home

"Are you sure that you're okay with Robin sending you divorce papers?" Natasha asks Cory as he pours her a glass of red wine and passes her the glass.

Cory sits next to her on the sofa. "I have to be," Cory replies to her before he takes a drink of his wine. "She can't get over that I slept with Rebecca, and I understand that. I just have to accept that my marriage is over."

"I can relate," she admits to him. "I saw Shane and he revealed that our divorce has been finalized."

"What? Already? You just signed the papers," Cory says in shock that her divorce has already been processed.

Natasha nods back to him. "He got his lawyer to expedite the process."

"How are you feeling?"

Natasha shrugs her shoulders. "I mean, I'm fine," she tells him. "I'm in the same boat as you, I have to accept that my marriage is over. The truth is, it was over long before we signed those papers."

Cory nods back to her. "How'd we get to this point Nat?" he asks her with a chuckle. "Both of us going through a divorce at the same time?"

"I don't know," she admits to him. "But I'm glad that I'm going through this with you," she smiles to him.

He moves a little on the sofa and their hands end up touching one another, which causes them to lock eyes. "I'm glad you're here with me right now," he admits to her.

"Me too," she purses her lips together.

Before he realizes what's happening, he's moving closer to her and pressing his lips against hers. They part for a moment and Natasha licks her lips before she kisses him again.

Scene Eight - Twin Peaks General Hospital; Shane's Office

"I'm sorry that I'm still here," Cassie tells Shane, who comes back into his office and sees Cassie sitting on the sofa. "I didn't want to go home and be alone or go to my office."

Shane waves his hand back to her. "It's fine," he tells her. "You found a man whom had been shot many times, it's understandable that you don't want to be alone right now."

"I just feel like I'm occupying all your time," she admits to him.

"I'm telling you, it's fine. If I didn't want you here, I'd let you know," he smiles to her as he moves over to the sofa and sits next to her. "And, I just finished my shift. So, I'm all yours if you need me."

Cassie licks her lips a little. "I just, I'm still seeing all of that blood whenever I close my eyes. I don't know how I will ever forget that."

"Sometimes it's things like that, that make you remember that you're human. We only have one life to live," he tells her.

Cassie moves closer to him and impulsively kisses him on the lips. She then quickly pulls back in shock by what happened. "I'm sorry," she quickly tells him. "I shouldn't have done that."

Shane smiles and stands up moving away from her, clearly surprised that she kissed him. They hadn't shared a kiss in many, many years.

"It won't happen again," she tells him. "God, I'm so dumb."

"No, no," he replies to her. "It's fine. But I agree, it shouldn't happen again."

Cassie nods back to him and looks him in the eyes. "Then, it won't," she uneasily says back to him.
