Scene One - Twin Peaks General Hospital

"Why haven't we heard anything yet? It feels like we've been waiting for hours," Natasha tells Shane as she paces back and forth in the waiting room, as they are eager to hear something, anything, about Jacob's condition. Natasha still can't believe how horrible her evening turned; she was having a romantic night with Cory at home when Cassie called her and told her that Jacob wasn't breathing properly. Natasha, of course, rushed right over to the hospital because she knows that her son has had complications with his lungs since the day he was born because he was premature. In her mind, this is the worst possible thing that could have happened.

"I'm a doctor, so I know that these things take time," Shane comes up behind his ex-wife. Natasha turns to face him, trying to make her feel better about what has happened even though, he is just as worried as she is. "We just have to be patient."

"I can't," she bites her lip. "That's our son, Shane. That's our little boy! Please, tell me that he will be okay. Please tell me that this is nothing more than a scare."

"I wish I could," Shane whispers back to her. "I just hate that I didn't realize that something was wrong sooner. If anything happens to him, it'll be my fault."

"I don't understand how you didn't realize something was wrong. What were you doing? What was keeping you from noticing our son wasn't breathing?" Natasha asks him as he turns away from her. She knows that she shouldn't be blaming Shane for what is happening but she can't help it; someone has to take responsibility for what's happened.

Shane knows all too well that Natasha is going to lose her cool when she finds out that he was making dinner for Cassie when they realized that something was wrong with Jacob. He just hopes that she will understand once she calms down. After all, he's allowed to have a personal life.

"Shane?" Natasha asks him again, wanting answers from him. "Why aren't you saying anything? What were you doing when you noticed Jacob wasn't breathing properly? "

"Because, he was with me," Cassie announces as she and Cory walk into the waiting room, holding a coffee for everyone. Cassie moves up to Shane and passes him one of the drinks. "We were going to have dinner when we noticed Jacob wasn't breathing."

"You were with her?" Natasha gasps in horror. "My God, if anything happens to my son…"

"Natasha, please try to stay calm," Cory comes up behind his fiancé. "We are all worried about Jacob, we shouldn't be fighting about this. We have to stay positive right now."

"I couldn't agree more," Shane tells her. "We have to be united for our son."

Natasha shakes her head as Cory pulls her into a hug. "I'm sorry, I'm just so worried about Jacob."

Before anyone else can say anything, Craig walks into the waiting room. Natasha and Shane rush up to the doctor. "Craig, how is Jacob? How is our son?" Natasha asks him, hoping that everything is fine with Jacob.

Scene Two - The Sugarbowl

"You've heard about this ice storm that's expected to hit, right?" Andy asks his sister as they sit in the back booth of the coffeehouse catching up. Andy knows that all the weather reports have indicated that the ice storm will hit in the next couple of days; he's also worried about Kim because the Calimo mansion is on the outskirts of town, which means if the storm hits, Kim will be the one driving in and out of the city limits. He hates that it could be dangerous for her and Blake.

Kim barely nods her head back to Andy, her mind thinking about everything but the potential of an ice storm as she knows her world is about to crumble apart around her. "Did you even hear what I said?" Andy asks her, causing her to snap out of it.

"Yea, of course I did," she manages to nod back to him. "I hope the weather man is wrong," she tells him. "Because, the last thing this city needs is a storm that will create more chaos."

"Yea, there doesn't seem to be many dull moments around here," Andy winks back to her. "Look, Kim, what's wrong? I can tell by your mood that something is going on with you. What is it?"

Kim looks back at her brother and feels herself breaking down a little. As her lip quivers she reaches over and grabs his hand. "I'm scared I'm about to lose everything."

"What do you mean? Are you and Bob having problems again?" he asks her, concerned by what she is telling him. After everything she and Bob have been through, he thought that they finally had come to a good place.

Kim shakes her head. "Not yet, but Andy, I'm going to need you. What I've done…Bob will never forgive me."

Andy looks back at her with worry. "Kim, you're scaring me. What did you do?"

As a tear falls down her cheek, Kim manages a smile back to Andy. "I'll tell you," she whispers back to him. "But, right now, I have to go get my son. I promise, I'll fill you in soon."

"If you need anything, Kim, please, talk to me. I'm here for you."

"I know, I love you for that," Kim smiles through more tears as she stands up and rushes out of the coffeehouse, leaving Andy more concerned than ever before about his sister.

Scene Three - Tyler's Townhouse

"I can't believe that you actually filmed your night with Kimberly," Dominick smirks back to Tyler as they sit on across from each other on the sofa in Tyler's house. With the fireplace roaring, Dominick has enjoyed listening to Tyler fill him in on the latest on goings with Kim over a brandy. Tyler, of course, has not had a drink, as little Blake is playing on the floor in front of them. Tyler does know, however, that he will have a drink once Kim has picked up his son. "That was a genius move on your part."

"I thought so," Tyler nods back to him. "But, Kim told me that she is going to reveal the truth to Bob. She's not going to come back to me. So, everything I've done has been for nothing."

Dominick chuckles a little. "I'm not sure I believe her," he tells his son. "After all, the last time Bob learned something happened between you and Kimberly, he had a stroke and was left in the hospital for weeks. And, that was over just a kiss! Do you really think Kim is going to risk her husband's health? You two did a lot more than just kiss."

Tyler stands up and moves closer to the fire to warm his hands. "I don't know," he admits to him. "I mean, she keeps telling me that she doesn't love me anymore. I can't imagine that is going to change any time soon. Maybe I just have to let this go. Maybe my time with Kim has really come to an end."

"Do you still love her?" Dominick asks his son, who turns and nods his head back to his father. "Then, don't you dare give up on her. You know what I would do? Call her bluff. Make her think that you're okay with her telling Bob the truth. It's a win-win for you. If she doesn't tell him the truth, then you are going to get her back. And, if she does tell him the truth, he's going to be livid and throw her out. You see, not only did she betray him with you, but she betrayed him in business as well when she gave you the formula for the facial cream. Bob might be able to forgive her affair, but when it comes to business, he'll never forgive her for what she did."

Tyler nods back to him. "You're right Dad," he smiles back to him. "I still have a chance with Kim. I still have a great chance."

"Of course you do," Dominick nods back to him, thrilled that his son is seeing things his way instead of giving up on her. "You'll get Kim if you want her, trust me."

Scene Four - Twin Peaks Executive Hotel; Jemma's Room

"Hold your horses', Imma comin'," Jemma calls out from the middle of her room, as she hears the knocking on the door continue. She looks at her bed and sees the black garbage bag resting on it. She isn't expecting anyone, so she isn't worried about anyone coming in and seeing what's in the bag, even though she knows that she has to get rid of it. She has been planning on disposing of it, but she hasn't had the chance yet. Still, she knows that she has to get rid of it. No one can know what she has inside the bag.

She opens the door and sees Vinny standing on the other side. "Mr. Vinny, this is a surprise, what brings you by?" Jemma asks him, gulping as she turns around and sees the bag still on her bed. She can't let Vinny see what's in the bag.

"Well, I haven't seen much of you lately, so I wanted to come by and see how you're doing. Are you feeling better?" Vinny asks her, knowing that Jemma had been under the weather for a couple of weeks.

"I am, yea, thank you," Jemma nods back to him. "I ran into Miss Daisy the other day at that new boutique. It was nice to see her out and about."

"Can I come? We could talk for a moment?" Vinny asks her.

Jemma puts her finger up causing Vinny to stop moving forward. "Can you give me just one moment?" she turns and closes the door. Vinny arches his eyebrow wondering what Jemma is doing.

"Jemma are you okay?" he calls out.

The door reopens and Jemma lets him inside the room. "I'm fine, just had to tidy up a bit, ya know? This room ain' that big, it is easy to let the clutter get the best of me."

"I see," Vinny nods back to her, wondering if she's hiding something. "Daisy did tell me about the run in at the boutique. It seemed like it went okay."

"Yea, it sure did," Jemma agrees with him. "I'm really hopin' that she's about ready to move on from all this nonsense. I'm her mother after all! It's just about time we start behavin' like a mother and daughter. We've lost so much time already.'

"I know," Vinny tells her as he puts his hand on her shoulders. "And for what its' worth, I agree with you."

"You do?"

Vinny nods back to her. "I do," he tells her. "I'm trying to convince her to let you move back into the house. I can't make any promises, but I'm trying my best."

Jemma pulls Vinny into a hug. "Thank you Mr. Vinny. You ain't no idea how much that means to me."

"I think I do, Jemma. I think I do."

Scene Five - Tyler's Townhouse

"I'm coming," Tyler calls out as he rushes to the front door when he hears the doorbell. He smiles when he sees Kim on the other side of the door. "Hey, I was expecting you."

"Is Blake ready to go?" she uneasily asks him back as she moves inside the house into the foyer. The last thing she wants is to have a long drawn out conversation with Tyler. She wants to grab Blake and leave.

"Yea he is," he replies to her. "He's been a little fussy this afternoon. I think he was ready to go home."

"Well good, because I've missed him. I need my son right now," Kim replies to him.

"Have you heard of this ice storm? Make sure you drive safe," he tells her as he passes Kim one of Blake's bags.

"I always drive safe," she snaps at him. "And, the storm hasn't even hit yet."

"Before you go," Tyler reaches for her hand. "If you've changed your mind about telling Bob the truth…"

"I haven't," Kim continues to be short with him. "Now, bring Blake to me so I can be on my way."

Tyler leaves the foyer and returns with Blake in his arms. "Blake, come to Mommy, I missed my boy!"

"Mommy! Mommy!" Blake smiles as Kim takes him in her arms. "Let's go to the mansion!"

"Yes baby, we're going home," Kim says as she turns and opens the door.

"Kim, " Tyler calls out, causing her to look back at him. "Remember what I said. It's not too late to change your mind, I'm still here for you. And, drive safe."

Scene Six - Twin Peaks General Hospital

"How were the roads?" Eva asks Bob as they walk into the hospital together, both having gotten calls about Jacob being in the hospital. "I heard about that damn ice storm possibly hitting us. That's the last thing we need."

"That's the truth," Bob replies to her. "Thankfully, the roads were fine tonight. I don't think the storm is here yet. But accordingly to the weatherman, it will be here soon."

"God, I hope they are wrong," Eva whispers back to him. "Let's find Natasha and make sure that Jacob is okay. I can't believe this is happening right now. Haven't we all been through enough?"

"You and I both," Bob agrees with her. "Our Grandson just has to be okay."

***

"Craig, please, what is it? What's wrong with Jacob?" Natasha nervously asks him again, desperate to have some good news about her son.

"There's no easy way to tell you this," Craig replies to the group waiting for news. He hates providing news like this to families.

"Tell us what?" Shane asks him again.

"Jacob has a lung infection," Craig reveals to them as Shane and Natasha gasp in horror. Cassie notes to herself how Shane immediately grabs Natasha's hand to listen to the rest of the news.

"What does that mean? How bad is this infection?" Natasha asks him, trying to fight back the tears from her eyes. "He's had infections before."

"I'm afraid it's bad," Craig continues to tell them. "His left lung has collapsed. He's so young that operating is very risky, so we don't want to do that yet. And, the infection is starting to spread to his right lung."

"What does that mean? What can we do?" Natasha asks him.

"My God," Shane whispers, knowing what this means because he is a doctor.

"Jacob's only chance of survival is a lung transplant. He has to have a donor, or he will die," Craig informs everyone as Natasha and Shane go pale and look at one another in complete horror that their son might not survive.
