Previously on One Day at a Time
- The Ice storm wreaked havoc in Twin Peaks
- Dominick learned that his new shipment of facial cream had arrived in Twin Peaks. He called the driver, Peter, and asked him to pull over during the storm, but Peter insisted he was almost at the boutique, so he continued driving. Kim, meanwhile, told Bob the truth about her affair with Tyler and giving him the formula for the facial cream. Bob was livid and demanded a divorce. Kim was distraught and left the hospital with Blake. Jemma, meanwhile, had an argument with Daisy and went outside the Pampa Grill to get some air. Peter's semi-truck t-boned Kim's car and pushed the vehicle into the side of the Pampa Grill, pegging Jemma between the car and the building
- Families of the people involved in the accident rushed to the hospital
- Adam and Robin grew closer
- Barbara confronted Dawn about who Shelley is. Dawn kept mum that she had become lovers with her roommate

Scene One - Robin's Townhouse

"Is it still raining out there?" Adam asks Robin, who is about to open a bottle of wine. He hears the cork pop and liquid filling two glasses before Robin comes back into the living room. She passes him a glass before she sits next to him, a huge fire roaring in the fireplace in front of them.

"It is," Robin nods back to him before she takes a sip of the wine. "This storm is unreal, huh?"

"Yea," Adam agrees with her. He just can't believe how much damage is being caused by the ice storm. It is, by far, the worst storm that he has ever seen before. "It's nice that we are together to wait this out."

"I agree," Robin replies to him. "I'm glad I'm not alone. It is scary to think about being in this by yourself."

"You're never going to be alone," he smiles back to her. "Not as long as I'm around, anyways."

"You're sweet," she smiles back to him.

"I hope you don't mind what I'm about to do," he tells her as he sets her wine glass down on the table and then looks into her eyes. "But, I've wanted to do it for a long time now."

Robin purses her lips together before Adam moves up to her and kisses on the lips. They part ways for a moment before Robin licks her lips and kisses him back. "I've wanted you to do that for some time now," she smiles to him as they part away.

"Really?" he asks with a laugh. "I don't know what I was waiting for then."

"Me either," she purrs as he kisses her again. He crawls on top of her as his mouth finds her neck, causing her to moan a little in pleasure. He leans up and pulls his shirt off before he leans back down and begins kissing her again. "Oh Adam," she says to him as her nails down his back.

Before they can do anything, she hears her cell phone start ringing. "Whoever that is has horrible timing," Adam looks at her with lust in his eyes.

Robin scurries out from under him and fixes her hair before she finds her phone. "I won't be long," she says to Adam before she looks at her phone, knowing that she has to answer the phone to her father. She wants to make sure that Dominick is alright. "Daddy? How are you? Surviving the storm?"

Adam sits back in the sofa and looks at Robin's face as her mouth drops open. "Are you sure?" Robin gasps on the phone. "Yes, yes, I'll be there as soon as I can. I'll drive safe, I promise. Adam is with me, I'll make sure that we are safe. Okay…"

"What is it? What's happened?" Adam asks her as he moves to the edge of the sofa, realizing that Robin got some bad news.

Robin looks back at Adam with a pale face. "There's been an accident involving Kim and Blake," she tells him. "I have to get to the hospital. I have to be there for my brother and my Dad."

"Yea, of course, let's go," Adam tells her as he grabs his shirt and they rush to the door, preparing to face the ice storm.

Scene Two - The Tower's; Floor Three; Shelley's Condo

"I'm glad you managed to survive come backing with those hot chocolates," Shelley tells Dawn, as they sit on the sofa in Shelley's apartment, drinking the hot chocolates that Dawn brought back for them from the Sugarbowl.

Dawn takes a sip of her drink, as she knows that she just got back from the coffeehouse, but while she was there, Barbara asked her about Shelley since her grandmother saw the two of them leave together earlier in the day. Dawn, now, is rather worried about Barbara nosing around and asking her questions because the last thing Dawn wants is for anyone to suspect that she is involved with a woman; Dawn isn't ready for her family to know the truth yet. She is still coming to terms with it herself. And, she knows that Barbara is very religious, so she isn't how she will take the news, in particular.

"Did you hear what I said?" Shelley chuckles, as she notes that Dawn looks a million miles away. "Dawn, are you okay?"

"Yea, sorry," Dawn replies to her, snapping out of her train of thought. "I saw my Grandma while I was getting the hot chocolates; she was at the Sugarbowl."

"Did she say something to upset you?"

Dawn shakes her head no before saying, "Yes, she did, actually."

"Do you want to talk about?" Shelley asks her, as she sets her hot chocolate down on the coffee table. "I don't like to see you upset."

"She saw us together earlier," Dawn reveals to her. "She saw us leaving the coffee house."

Shelley shakes her head in confusion. "I'm not sure I understand," Shelley admits to her. "What could she have said to you that got you so upset?"

"It's silly," Dawn admits to her. "I shouldn't be this upset. But, I guess I'm not ready for my family to know about us. You know? And, then my Grandma asking me all these questions about who you are and why are together…I don't know, it's awkward."

Shelley nods and grabs Dawn's hand. "I know this is all new to you," she tells her. "But, you have to take it from me, being honest with your family is the best thing you can do for yourself and for them."

"What if they do what your family did to you and abandon me?" Dawn asks her as her lip quivers a little. "I don't think I can handle that."

"Your parents are good people," Shelley tells her. "And, we are in 2018. I'm pretty sure they will be okay. And, you know what, if they aren't, then you are strong enough to deal with that too. You can't change who you are."

"I know," Dawn tells her. "I'm just scared."

"I know you are," Shelley pulls her into a hug. "And, I'm here for you. When you're ready to tell them the truth, I am here for you. Just remember, that it's not going to get easier or better. The longer you keep the truth, the harder it will be to come out to them."

Scene Three - Twin Peaks General Hospital

"Kim survived surgery," Craig tells Tyler, Andy and Bob as they stand outside Kim's hospital room. The three men have been waiting desperately for news about Kim since she and Blake were brought to the hospital following the horrible car accident that Kim was in after she left the hospital. They all still have so many questions, like why Kim decided to drive in the first place during the ice storm, but they know that it will have until she is better to answer any questions. "She suffered from a mild concussion and she dislocated her shoulder."

"So, she had surgery to repair her shoulder?" Andy asks, hoping that his sister will be okay.

"Exactly," Craig notes back to them. "She got very, very lucky. The extent of that accident could have killed her."

"What about Blake?" Tyler asks him, desperate to hear something about his son. "He's been gone for hours. When will I know about him?"

"I'll go check and see if I can get an update right now for you," Craig puts half a smile on his face before he walks off, leaving the three men alone.

"I'm going in, do you want to come?" Andy looks over and asks Bob, who shakes his head no. "Why not? You're her husband! She would want to see you when she wakes up."

Bob sighs and runs his hands his over his face. "You'll find out sooner rather than later," he whispers back to Andy. "But, I've filed for divorce from Kimberly. I care about her well-being, of course, but I don't want to see her right now and I doubt she wants to see me right now either. If you have any questions, Tyler can fill you in, can't you, Robertson? Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to see how my Grandson is doing."

Andy watches as Bob walks away from him. Andy looks at Tyler with intent. "What the hell is he talking about?"

"It's a long story," Tyler replies to him. "And, it's not one I want to get into right now. Let's go in and see Kim. I need answers."

"I know, but we can't pressure her," Andy tells him. "We have to let her come to and get her mind around the fact that she was in an accident."

Tyler nods back to him and they move up to the door to Kim's room and prepare to open it.

"Well, thank God that Kim will make a full recovery," Cory tells Natasha and Bob, who has just filled them in on the latest with Kim. "At least we have some good news."

Bob uneasily nods back to him. "Yea, now if we can just find out that Jacob has made some progress. We need some more good news tonight."

"I don't know how much more I can take," Natasha admits to them. "This all seems like it has been a dream. A very, very bad dream."

"I know," Cory tells her as he comes up next to her. "But, we have to keep the faith. We have to believe that Jacob will pull through this."

Natasha uneasily smiles back to him. "I'm losing hope," she says as tears fill her eyes. "I don't know where we can find a donor. I just don't…"

"If Kimberly can survive that car crash, Jacob can survive this," Bob informs her. "We have to be positive. Come on, let's go pray."

Dominick bends down to his knees and puts his hands together and closes his eyes as he puts his head down. He kneels in the chapel, hoping that everyone in his family will be okay. He can't believe that his semi-truck t-boned Kim's car, with his Grandson in the back of the car. He doesn't know how he, or Tyler, will handle if anything happens to Blake.

"I know I don't talk to you often," he says as he kneels in front of the large cross. "But, I need your help right now. I need you to bless Peter, because he didn't deserve to die. I tried, I tried so hard, to make him pull over the truck, but he insisted on driving to the boutique. God, I was so dumb. I shouldn't have let him drive anymore in this storm. Why couldn't I stop him?"

Dominick takes a deep breath. "And, I need your help with my Grandson, Blake. I need you to look out for him and make sure that he is safe. Tyler can't lose his son, and I can't lose my Grandson. I'm begging you, please make sure that Blake is safe."

Dominick slowly turns his head when he hears the door to the chapel open. He sees Eva and Felicia standing there, so he stands up quickly. "Any news on Blake?"

Eva shakes her head no. "Sorry, we didn't mean to interrupt."

"Its fine," Dominick replies to her. "I was just praying for Blake."

"I guess we had the same idea," Felicia tells him as she moves up to him. Eva watches as they embrace one another. "Blake has to be okay. He just has to be."

"I'm trying to believe that he will be," Dominick replies to her. "I just wish I knew what was taking so long. We should have heard something by now, shouldn't have we?"

"Kim should make a full recovery," Eva informs them. "But, we still haven't heard about Blake yet."

"Something must be wrong," Felicia tells them as she bites her lip. "For it to take this long, something must be horribly wrong."

"How are you holding up?" Vinny asks Daisy as he brings her a cup of coffee, as she sits in the waiting room, hoping for some kind of update on Jemma. The entire evening has seemingly become one long blurr to Daisy; all she can really remember is seeing Jemma wedged between Kim's car and the Pampa Grill. And, the blood; there was so much blood. She doesn't know if she will ever get those images out of her mind.

"I guess I'm okay," she manages to say back to him. "I just wish we would hear something about Jemma. We've been here for a couple hours already."

"I know," Vinny replies to her. "But, we'll hear when the doctors have made her better. She was in a bad accident. They have to have time to make her well again."

Daisy uneasily nods back to him. "How are you? Did you warm up from being outside in the storm?"

"Yea, I'm good," Vinny tells her. "It was nice of Donovan to get us those blankets. How about you? Are you warm?"

"I'll be fine," Daisy tells him as she stands up to stretch her legs. "This waiting is just killing me."

"Where did Trenyce go?"

"I think she's laying down," Daisy informs him. "Or trying to. It's been a hell of a night."

Before Vinny can reply, Craig comes into the waiting room. "I'm glad I found you two," he tells them as Daisy turns and sees the doctor. "Kim should be fine. She survived surgery."

"Oh thank God," Daisy says as she grabs Vinny's hand. "And, Jemma? How is my Mother?"

Craig looks back at Daisy and Vinny and feels his heart sink in his chest. He knows that this will be a difficult conversation to have. "We've tried everything we could…"

"What do you mean, you've tried everything you could?" Daisy gasps as her lip quivers in fear of what else is next.

"The impact of the vehicle on Jemma was brutal. Her organs are slowly failing inside of her body. We have her stable, but she's in a coma," Craig reveals to them. "The chances of her ever coming out of the coma are very slim. Honestly, it's only a matter of time…"

"Her organs are failing her?" Vinny asks him. "Does that mean she'll…?"

"Die?" Craig finishes his sentence. "Death is very a real possibility," he continues to tell her. "We are doing everything we can, but we need her to do a lot of fighting. The coma is actually good for her because she needs rest to let her body heal and try to repair her body."

Daisy lets a tear fall down her cheek, devastated by the news. How is it possible that she just found out Jemma was her mother, and now she will lose her forever? It seems like a very cruel twist of fate. "Daisy, are you okay?" Vinny asks his wife.

"I need to see her," Daisy whispers through her tears. "I need to see my Mother."

"I wonder how long she'll be asleep for," Tyler tells Andy as they sit in Kim's room, waiting for her to make some kind of movement in her bed.

"I don't know," Andy replies to him. "Part of me hopes she sleeps for a while. Her body needs the rest, and I know when she learns about Blake, she'll want to be with him."

"Yea," Tyler says back to him. "I'm bracing myself for the worst already."

"What do you mean? Why would you say that?"

"Come on Andy," Tyler tries to chuckle. "If everything was fine with my son, I would have heard something by now. The fact that it has been hours, it must mean that something is very wrong."

"We can't think that way," Andy tells him. "We have to be positive, especially when Kim wakes up. While we wait for her, though, what was Bob talking about? Why did he file for divorce?"

"God, I don't know that I can talk about this…"

"You don't have a choice!" Andy replies in a harsh whisper. "Kim could have died tonight because something obviously happened to make her upset enough to drive in this ice storm. Now, start talking."

"It is a long story," Tyler admits to him. "But, the short version is, Kim gave me the formula for the facial cream that Robertson Enterprises released. She begged me to keep quiet and I…I wanted us to be a family again, so badly, that I told her I would keep quiet if we could have another night together."

"You blackmailed her into having sex with you?" Andy asks shocked by his admission.

"I just thought…"

"You thought wrong," Andy stops him. "I can't believe you did that to her. No wonder she was devastated."

"I'm assuming she told Bob the truth and he told asked for a divorce."

"No wonder Kim was so upset," Andy says, still shocked by Tyler's reveal. "We just have to hope that there's positive news when Kim awakes."

"Positive about what?" Kim's voice slowly asks the two men. Andy jumps up from his seat and rushes over to see Kim. "Andy, you're here. What happened?"

"Of course I'm here," Andy replies to his sister. "You were in a car accident. Do you remember?"

"A little, I guess," she says back to him. "Blake was in the car? Where's my son? Is my son okay?"

Andy gulps and looks over at Tyler, who moves up closer to Kim's bed. "We haven't heard about him yet," Tyler tells her.

Kim sits up in bed, making a grimacing face as she does. "I need to see my son! I have to see that he is okay! Where is he?"

Before either man can answer, Victoria opens the door and moves inside. "I'm glad you're all here," she tells them. "It's about Blake."
