Scene One - Twin Peaks Law Courts

"I can't believe it's come to this," Donovan runs his hands through his hair as he, Meggan, Daisy, Andy and Craig stand outside the court room, while the trial is on recess while the Judge makes his ruling. He can't believe that his boyfriend might actually go to jail for killing Frederick; Donovan can't help but think back to his own trial, where he was convicted of killing his father, Ernesto, and then was sentenced to the death penalty. He was saved at the very last minute, but he is still scared that the same thing will happen to Lukas. He knows that Lukas didn't kill Frederick; he just wishes that there was something that they could do to prove it.

"I know," Meggan agrees with him, sick that her testimony did damage to her brother's case. "It doesn't seem fair. We all know that he didn't do this, but there's no proof that to prove it."

"We have to believe that justice will prevail," Craig chimes into them. "I think Lukas is a very strong guy, regardless of what happens, he will be okay."

"Not if they sentence him to death," Donovan replies to him. "Trust me when I say this, but that is the scariest thing that could happen."

"I know you've lived this," Meggan puts her arms around him. "I believe that there isn't enough evidence in the case for the Judge to give Lukas the death penalty."

"Has anyone tried to see how Lukas is holding up?" Andy asks them all. "He must be worried sick as well."

"Since he found out about Craig and I, he hasn't really wanted to speak to me," Donovan puts his head down. "He must have known on some level, but the way it came out, I think he was embarrassed."

"I'm going to go back inside and see if they'll let me talk to him," Andy excuses himself from the crowd.

"Meggan, do you mind if I have a word with you?" Daisy pulls her half-sister aside. "How are you holding up, really?"

Meggan shakes her head with worry. "I'm scared," she admits to Daisy. "I don't know what this means for Lukas, you know? I just wish that there was something, anything, that we could do to help him."

"If I can do anything, let me know," Daisy pulls her into a hug. "I know we haven't been close exactly, but we are family. And, after everything that has happened lately, we have to keep family as close as possible."

"I really appreciate that."

Inside the court room, Andy moves up behind Lukas, who turns when he hears the door open again. He get a slight grin on his face at the sight of his friend.

"How are you holding up?" Andy asks him, sitting behind him.

Lukas shrugs. "As well as to be expected, I guess," he replies to him. "I'm bracing myself for the worst. I don't think I stand a hope in hell."

"I've seen miracles happen," Andy tells him. "Don't give up, okay? You have a lot of people rooting for you."

"I know," Lukas says back to him. "I also have a lot of people who have been lying to me. But, that doesn't matter. Nothing matters where I'm going."

"I've never seen you so …"

"Real?" Lukas asks him. "I'm trying to be realistic here, Andy. Chances are, I'm going to jail for this."

Before Andy can reply, the court room door opens and Josh Levitt comes rushing up to Lukas. "Get ready," he tells his client. "The Judge has his verdict. We will find our fate today."

Scene Two - The Sugarbowl

"Hey, I haven't seen you around lately," Andrew announces to Paige, as he comes up to her as she sits at the window bar sipping on a latte. "How have you been?"

Paige looks over at the young man and smiles back to him. After a rocky start to getting to know Andrew, she saw a different side of him during the ice storm while they were at the hospital together. He was much kinder and gentler than before; the fact that he was with Leah while she was in Santa Barbara, certainly doesn't hurt either.

"Yea, I guess I've been trying to lay low since the ice storm," she tells him. "My Mom, she got her memory back so that has been exciting. What's new with you? How are things with your family?"

Andrew uneasily nods back to her, still adjusting the fact that she is calling Trenyce, Chris & Daisy his family. "Jemma is still in a coma," he reveals to her. "They still don't think she will ever wake up."

"I'm so sorry," she replies to him.

"It's fine," he tells her. "Look, I know this will sound out of the blue, but do you want to go and grab a bite to eat and … talk?"

Paige arches her eyebrow. "Are you asking me out on a date?"

Andrew chuckles back to her. "Would that be so bad?"

"No," Paige purses her lips together as she stands up from her chair. "I just wanted you to say the words."

Scene Three - The Calimo House; Robbie, Leah & Paige's Home

"I'm glad that you came over," Leah tells Jeff as they move into the living room of the house that they shared for so long. To Jeff, however, he feels like a stranger in the home as he hasn't lived there for some time. "I know that you were in court supporting Meggan with Lukas' trial."

Jeff shakes his head, remembering how upset Leah got when she remembered the truth about her past and how she slapped him because he had moved on with Meggan. Now, she's understand that he was supporting her. "I'm glad that you understand that," he tells her. "I know that my moving on with Meggan when I thought you were dead really hurt you, Leah. I hope you understand that I never meant to hurt you. I would never do anything to purposely hurt you."

"I know," she turns to face him. "And, for the record, I am sorry that I slapped you. I shouldn't have resorted to violence. Getting my memory back, it just brought up all these feelings, I guess."

"It's okay," Jeff nods back to her. "If I am honest, I am hoping that we will be able to put all of this behind us and start moving forward. I would like nothing more than to forget this ever happened."

"I don't think I can forget, though, Jeff."

"I'm not sure I understand."

"Well," she begins to tell him as she moves over to the bar and pours herself a glass of water. "You see, just because I got my memory back, it doesn't mean that my feelings have changed. My feelings haven't changed at all."

Jeff shrugs his shoulders in confusion. "Feelings? What are you saying, Leah?"

"I still love Robbie," she admits to him. "I know that's not want you wanted to hear, but I love him. I want to be with Robbie. I don't want to be with you. So, if you want to be with Meggan, you should be."

"But, we got married in Lake Tahoe," he reminds her. "We are still married."

Leah nods back to him. "I want a divorce," she reveals to him. "I want to end our marriage."

Jeff turns around from facing Leah and shuts his eyes. He never imagined that Leah would be having this conversation with him so soon after regaining her memory. He always assumed that she would wanting to make their marriage work.

"I'm sorry," she whispers as she comes up behind him. "I don't mean to hurt you…"

"It's fine," he turns back to face her. "If you want a divorce, I certainly won't stand in your way."

Scene Four - The Tower's, Floor Three; Victoria's Condo

"This is nice," Victoria passes Robbie a glass of wine as he sits on the sofa. "We haven't exactly had a lot of time alone together lately."

"Well, with everything that happened during the ice storm, we've been busy."

Victoria nods back to him. "Speaking of, Jacob is doing really well. I saw Natasha and Shane earlier, and they were really happy with the way things are going."

"That's great to hear," Robbie replies to her. "I still can't imagine what Kim and Tyler are going through. What they did was very brave."

"Losing their son to save another child," Victoria thinks of the ordeal. "Yea, they are heroes."

"You know what?" he leans back into the sofa and smiles to her. "I think we should spend the rest of day of the talking about us. No more worrying about the drama that is going on around us."

Victoria chuckles a little. "Well, that's easy for you to say. I feel like we are sneaking behind everyone's back's being here without anyone knowing."

Robbie sets his wine glass on the table in front of him. "I have news for you," he reveals to her. "Really good news."

Victoria arches her eyebrow. "You do? What is that?"

"Leah got her memory back," he tells her. "So, you know what that means, don't you?"

"I can't believe that she's finally remembered," Victoria gasps back to him. "After all this time…"

"Yea," Robbie nods back to her. "So, it's only a matter of time before she wants to get back together with Jeff and then you and I, we can finally be together. No more secrets, no more pretending…just us, together."

"Oh Robbie," she leans in and kisses him passionately. "You have no idea how happy you've made me."

Scene Five - The Riverside Delicatessen

"I hope this place is okay with you?" Andrew asks Paige, as they sit together at table by the window, each waiting for their sandwich to arrive.

"Yea of course," Paige replies to him. "I mean, it's not fancy like the Pampa Grill, but it'll do. It's pretty quiet this time of the day."

"That's what I thought," Andrew nods back to her, secretly thrilled that she has agreed to go on a date with him. "It gives us a good chance to talk, and get to know one another."

Paige purses her lips together. "Yea, it does," she nods. "I mean, I must admit, my opinion of you has changed a lot since we first met."

"I guess I was a bit of a jerk, huh?"

Before she can reply, the waitress comes up with two trays, consisting of the sandwiches, soups and drinks that they ordered. As she sits the one tray down in front of Andrew, her hand flips and the soup and sandwich spill all over him!

"Ah!" he groans as the waitress jumps back and Paige starts tossing him some napkins.

"Are you okay? Ohmygawd, I'm so sorry," the waitress explains to him, as Andrew tries to mop up the mess.

"Do I look okay?" he says, frustrated with her. "That soup is hot, I'm lucky I didn't get burned!"

"I'm so sorry."

"Andrew," Paige says passing him another napkin. "Why don't get we take a rain cheque … you should head home and change."

"Yea, sorry about this," he says throwing more soup off his clothes and on to the floor. "This is just really gross."

Paige can't help but chuckle a little back to him. "One day, you might laugh about this," she says as he rolls his eyes. "Maybe, one day."

Scene Six - Twin Peaks Executive Hotel

Vinny stands outside Jemma's room at the hotel, hoping that the hotel manager will let him inside. As he stands there, he remembers right before the ice storm and the accident that put Jemma in her coma, he came to see her and Jemma was odd about letting him into her room. At the time, he wondered if she was hiding something. He hasn't been able to get that out of his mind for some reason. Now, that she's in her coma, he wants into her room to gather some things for her to help make her hospital room seem more personal, even though Daisy told him not too.

He knows that he has to override his wife on this situation, because she is in denial about how long Jemma will be in her coma. He knows that there is no way she will wake up; it is only a matter of time before she passes away, he realizes. And, he knows that Daisy will be devastated when that happens because she never got to make up with Jemma. That's the real reason Daisy doesn't want anything to change.

Suddenly, the hotel manager comes up to Vinny. "Thank you for waiting," he tells Vinny, who shakes his hand.

"Of course," Vinny replies to him. "I understand that this is a very unusual request."

"It is," the manger nods back to him. "But, the situation is unusual. Our guest is in a coma, fighting for her life. We can bend the rules and allow you inside to gather some of her belongings. We understand that it might help her in the long run."

"Thanks so much," Vinny says back to him, as his phone starts ringing. "Excuse me for a moment," he tells the manager. "Hey, Daisy, what is it? Is it Jemma?"

"No," Daisy tells her husband. "I'm at the court house. They are about to state the verdict. Do you think you can come here? I could use you right now."

Vinny looks back at the manger, wishing that he was about to enter Jemma's suite, but he finds himself telling Daisy of course. "Yea, I'll be right there."

Vinny hangs up his phone and looks at the manager. "Sorry man," Vinny tells him. "This will have to wait, but I will come back and get in to that room."

Inside the room, under the bed, there is the large black garbage bag that Jemma was trying to throw away. She never got the chance, and now the bag, and its contents are still just sitting there.

Scene Seven - Twin Peaks Court House

"All rise, honorable Judge Franklin Ross resides," the bailiff announces to the court house as everyone stands up the Franklin moves to his chair.

"You may be seated," he says as he sits down. "Trials are never black and white, there's always a ton of grey area. It is my job to determine whether the facts support whether or not someone killed another human being. In this case, it is a son and a father, which makes it even more difficult to review."

Lukas takes a deep breath as he feels his heart racing listening to the Judge. He looks back at Meggan, who tries to put a smile on her face.

"In this particular case, there is no question that Lukas Richardson was upset by how his father reacted when he revealed his sexuality. It's also no secret that Lukas had access to the gun that the family owned and that the bullets from the gun were used to shoot Frederick Richardson. Lukas also admitted that he did not have an alibi on New Year's Eve when Frederick was killed. We have motive, we have opportunity and we have a weapon. Based on that, I find Lukas Richardson guilty of first degree murder."

"No!" Meggan stands up and cries. "You can't do this! He didn't do this!"

Lukas stands up and hugs his sister, as Franklin smashes his mallet down. "Order! Order in the court room!" he yells, as Lukas whispers into Meggan's ear to calm her down. After she sits back down, Donovan puts his arms around her.

"As for sentencing, I sentence Lukas Richardson to 25 years without parole. Case dismissed!"

Lukas stands up and turns around and looks at his sister again. She pulls him into a hug. "Don't worry," he whispers to her. "I will be fine."

"I love you," she says as the officer pulls Lukas away. "We will find a way to overturn this!" Meggan yells to her brother as he moves towards the door.

As soon as Lukas is gone, Meggan turns and collapses in tears in Donovan's arms.
