- Vinny presented Simona with the clothing he found in Jemma's room for her to run tests on as he was concerned about why Jemma would be hiding the clothing in a garbage bag in her hotel room. He admitted this to Daisy, who was livid at his betrayal, as she felt like Jemma wouldn't have had killed Frederick, which is what Simona started to believe. As Simona returned to the hospital but a furious Daisy went to see Jemma, who flat-lined
- Donovan and Meggan visited a beaten Lukas in jail, who refused to talk or get help from his attackers

Scene One - Twin Peaks General Hospital

Daisy's face peers into the small window that looks into Jemma's hospital room as she can't believe everything that is happening right now. Vinny had gone to Simona with the clothing he found in Jemma's hotel room because he thought it was strange that she had a garbage bag under her bed with the clothing inside; this was after Simona revealed that they found a strand of Jemma's hair in Frederick's hospital room after he was killed. Daisy was telling them both that there is no way that Jemma could have information about Frederick's death, but they still wanted to press the issue. Refusing to listen to Simona when she returned to the hospital, Daisy went into Jemma's room and begged her mother to wake up to set everyone straight. That's when Jemma's heart stopped; Craig jumped into the room with some nurses and they ordered Daisy out of the room, leaving her devastated now the less. She can't lose her mother, not after she just found her.

"Dear God," she whispers as a tears stroll down her face. "Please, save my mother. She can't die. She can't. We have too much to make up for. I have so much to make up for."

Vinny comes up behind his wife and places his hands on her shoulders, knowing that she needs support. "Please don't touch me right now," Daisy tells him, not looking at him. Her eyes are solely focused on Jemma, but she still can't believe that he gave Simona Lopez Jemma's clothing. It is a betrayal, in her mind. "Not after everything you've done."

Vinny moves away his wife, knowing that she needs to have some space right now. The last thing he wants to do is crowd her or make her feel more pressure than she is already feeling. He moves over to Donovan and Meggan, who arrived after Donovan called her to tell her that she needed to be at the hospital. Donovan wants to know what is going on with Jemma, because he knows that it could be their only chance to save Lukas from jail, especially since he was just attacked by some other inmates.

"She's in shock," Vinny tells them, still bad for what his wife is going through. "Everything is happening so fast."

Meggan shakes her head in sadness. "I just can't believe it," she whispers back to them. "I thought that the destruction of the ice storm had passed. Now this …"

"And, we may never know what happened between Jemma and Frederick," Donovan chimes in. "Jemma could be the key to save Lukas' life."

"I do believe that one way or another, the truth will come out," Vinny replies to them.

Before anyone can reply, Daisy jumps back from the door as Craig comes out of Jemma's hospital room. "Craig, please," Daisy pleads with him. "Tell me how my mother is. Tell me that Jemma will be okay."

Vinny comes up behind Daisy as Craig sighs back to her. "I'm so sorry," Craig replies to her. "I did everything I could, but…"

"No," Daisy shakes her head as tears stroll down her face. "No! Not my mother!"

She turns around and collapses into Vinny's arms sobbing. "Thanks Craig," Vinny whispers to him, as the doctor slowly walks away from him and Daisy. "I'm so sorry," he then whispers into Daisy's ear.

She doesn't respond, she just stands there weeping over the loss of her mother.

"Excuse me," Meggan quickly walks away from the group, as they just overheard Craig tell Daisy about Jemma' s death. Meggan is feeling rather rocked; after everything that has occurred, she just had hoped that it would be the start of good things happening. Instead, Lukas was attacked in jail, Jemma has died and Jeff told her that his divorce to Leah was denied. She doesn't know how much more bad news she can take at this point.

She turns a corner and leans up against a wall, trying to catch her breath. She wipes her eyes dry before she grabs her phone from her purse.

"Jeff, it's me," she says into her phone.

"Meggan?" Jeff asks, from his house that he shares with Leah. "Is everything okay? It's late for you to be calling."

"No, everything is not okay," she tells him, biting her lower lip. "Lukas was attacked in jail by some other inmates. And Jemma Davenport … she just died."

"My God," Jeff replies to her, as Leah comes up behind him, passing him a glass of wine. He takes the glass and quickly sets it down. He shoots Leah a look of concern, letting her know that the call is important. She sighs, unhappy that he is giving Meggan so much attention, especially since they both agreed to put their marriage back together for the next 6 months. "Can I do anything to help?"

"No," she tells him. "I guess I just needed to hear your voice. I'm sorry I bothered you."

"You didn't bother me," Jeff informs her, as Leah rolls her eyes. "I'm glad you called. If I can do anything, anything at all to help you, please call me."

"I will," Meggan lets another tear fall from her cheek. "It just feels like everything is happening so quickly."

"Are you alone there?"

"No, I'm not. I'll be okay," she quickly tells him. "Thanks for taking me call. We'll talk soon?"

"Yes, we will. Take care of yourself," Jeff tells her before he hangs up the phone. He looks over at Leah, who shrugs her shoulders, trying not to get involved in his relationship with Meggan.

At the hospital, Meggan hangs up the phone and tries to collect herself. But the truth is, she doesn't know how much more she can handle.

"I'm sorry you just went through that," Donovan tells Craig, who is standing at the nurses station taking a drink of water. Donovan can't imagine what it's like seeing someone lose their life, and Craig does it on a daily basis.

Craig looks back at him once he is done his water. "It's fine, but I appreciate that. I just hate telling the families the bad news, you know?"

"Yea, Daisy is devastated," Donovan quietly says back to him. "But, I'm still dying to know what Simona Lopez uncovered."

"What do you mean?" Craig asks him, having not heard the latest news.

"Apparently they found a strand of Jemma's hair in Frederick's hospital room," Donovan reveals to him. "And then, Vinny found a garbage bag full of black clothing in Jemma's hotel room."

"So, Jemma could have been the one to kill Frederick?" Craig asks shocked. "I must admit, that would be rather surprising. She never struck me as the violent type."

"We don't know what to think," Donovan replies to him quickly. "But the fact is, if it can free Lukas, then we have to act on it. He's in danger in jail."

Craig shakes his head, thinking Donovan is overreacting. "No, before you say anything, you have to know that Lukas was attacked in jail by some other inmates. He was badly beaten."

"My God," Craig whispers back to him. "Is he okay?"

Donovan shrugs his shoulders. "He's acting brave, but I'm scared about what will happen if he's not released from jail soon. I don't liket his one bit. I have to get to the truth, I have to save Lukas."

"Trenyce, wait up," Chris calls out to her, as he spots her rushing to find Daisy as they both got a call from Vinny telling them what was going on. Chris had been having dinner with Helen when they got the call, so she is parking the car. He just wants to be there for Trenyce and Daisy right now, because he knows that they will be devastated by the loss of Jemma.

Trenyce turns around and faces the man she has come to realize she is in love with her. Her eyes are damp red already from tears that she has had. He comes up to her and she falls into his arms weeping.

"I can't believe she's gone," she manages to say to him through her tears.

"I know," he holds her close. "Don't worry, I'll be here for you. And Daisy, whatever you guys need, just ask okay?"

"I don't know what I would do without you," she says to him, as she continues to hug him. Helen emerges in the hospital and sees the two engaged in their embrace. She turns a corner so they don't see her.

Trenyce exits her embrace with Chris and wipes her eyes. "I have to find Daisy," she tells him. "I have to be the strong one right now because she will need me."

"Okay, go find her," Chris nods back to her. "Just know that I am here for you both."

Scene Two - The Towers, The Penthouse; Cory's Home

"I can't believe that you were jealous," Natasha runs her finger down Cory's toned, bare chest as they lay next to one another, fresh from an intense love making session. She recalls how they were at the Pampa Grill earlier, as her family welcomed her home from the trip to New York City, when Cory asked about everything that happened between her and Shane as he thought that maybe something romantic had happened between them. Natasha does recall the night before they left New York, her and Shane almost kissed but they both stopped it and there is no point in telling Cory about this as it would only upset him. She isn't upset with her fiancé for asking either, rather amused that Cassie's words actually bothered him. He should know that Cassie would do anything to ruin her life.

Cory chuckles back to her. "Well, yea, I mean you're my woman. I don't like the idea of another man being all up in this."

Natasha laughs back with him. "I hope I just proved that you're the only one I want," she leans in and kisses him again.

"You more than did," he winks back to her. "I'm sorry that I let Cassie feed my head with her petty lies."

"New rule," she stops him. "We can't mention the C word while in bed together. It seems so very wrong."

"Noted," he laughs to her.

"But for what it's worth," she replies to him quickly. "I know how manipulative she can be. I just don't understand her angle. Why would she suggest that Shane and I would get back together when she and Shane are growing closer?"

"I have no idea," Cory admits to her. "But who cares. All that matters is that Jacob is getting better, and you and I are in love."

"Yes, we are," she purrs to him as she comes up to him and kisses him again. "Make love to me again, Cory. Show me how much you love me."

"I thought you'd never ask," he says as he kisses her again.

Scene Three - The Glubb's Home; Shane's House

"I couldn't help but notice you watched Cory and Natasha the restaurant earlier," Shane reveals to Cassie, as he passes her a glass of wine and then sits next to her on his sofa in the living room. "What was that about?"

Cassie shrugs back to him, knowing that she can't reveal that she is secretly using Shane to stick it to Natasha. "You know Natasha and I," she takes a sip of her wine. "We are like oil and water. We will never get along."

Shane takes a drink of his wine. "I know, I get that," he tells her. "I just wish, that after everything that has happened, we could all just try to find some kind of peace."

"Ha!" Cassie almost chokes on her wine. "I think I have been nothing but peaceful to that woman since I've been back in Twin Peaks. It's been her, coming after me. Let's not forget how she came after us when she learned we were spending time together. And then, how she blamed me at the hospital when Jacob first became ill. She thought that I would actually hurt an innocent child."

Shane nods back to her. "I get it, Natasha has been emotional about you coming back to town," he admits to her. "But, considering your history."

"Oh Jesus," Cassie snaps at him. "Look, if everyone else can move beyond it, why the hell can't she? You know what? Don't answer that. I see that you're always going to be on her side and I have better things to do."

"Where are you going?" a dumbfounded Shane stands up as Cassie storms towards the door.

"Home," Cassie turns and looks at him. "I don't think this is going to work anymore. Natasha will always come between us, and I refuse to be with anyone who isn't fully on my side. Good bye Shane."

Shane shuts his eyes when he hears the front door slam shut. He picks up his wine and takes a healthy sip, wondering what just happened between him and Cassie. Meanwhile, outside, Cassie smiles to herself before she quickly walks towards her car.

Scene Four - The State Penitentiary

Lukas slowly moves into the washroom that is just off the gym in the prison. He moves up to the sink and puts his hands under the faucet, causing the water to turn on automatically. He scoops up some of the water and splashes it onto his face, immediately feeling some of his cuts and bruises starting to sting a little.

He looks into the mirror and tries to see the face he is used to seeing, not the bruised and battered one that is being reflected. He shakes his head, knowing that he has to do something to prevent Tony from attacking him again. The question is, however, what can he do?

Tony is larger than him and has his two goon friends that can always assist him if Lukas decided to fight back. He shakes his head knowing that he can't win the battle with his fists. "I just have to stand my ground," Lukas whispers to himself, as he grabs a paper towel to dry himself off. "I have to show him that I will not be bullied."

Suddenly, the door behind Lukas opens and Tony appears with a smug grin on his face. "There you are," Tony announces to him, as Lukas finishes drying his face and sees his attacker in front of him. "I was lookin' for you."

"I was just finishing up in here," Lukas replies to him, as he drops his paper towel in the trash can trying not to show Tony that he is scared. "You can have the place to yourself."

Tony blocks Lukas from leaving the washroom. "We aren't finished."

"Yes, we are actually."

"I thought I taught you how to speak to me," Tony crosses his arms over his muscular chest. "You're going to listen to me."

"Like hell I am," Lukas stands his ground, as Tony moves closer to him.

"That's it," Tony spits back to him. "It is time you find out who is boss around here."

Scene Five - Twin Peaks General Hospital

"What are you still doing here? You have no business being here!" Daisy asks Simona, who is still in the hallway outside of Jemma's, now empty, hospital room. Daisy glares at the woman she feels like is responsible for her mother's death.

"I got here as soon as I heard," Trenyce announces, interrupting the conversation between Daisy and Simona. Vinny, Meggan and Donovan all appear behind Trenyce, who rushes up to Daisy and they hug. "I'm so sorry."

"Thank you," Daisy cries as Trenyce holds her. "I can't believe that she's gone, you know? I don't know what I'm going to do."

"You have me," Trenyce whispers back to her. "I'm going to be right here for you. We will get through this together. Never forget that."

"I don't know what I would do without you," she says as they exit their embrace. "But, I have to finish this. I have to find out why this woman is still here. I told you to leave! You have no right being here right now. My mother is dead!"

"My deepest condolences," Simona replies to her. "But, you never let me finish about why I am here in the first place. I do have news for you, for all of you."

"You have a lot of nerve," Daisy spits back at her. "What part of my mother is dead didn't you understand!"

"Daisy, please let her speak," Donovan chimes in, desperate to hear if Simona has news that could help Lukas. "If she has news, it could help Lukas. It could save his life."

Daisy rolls her eyes as Simona gives Donovan a half smile. "I ran preliminary tests on the clothing Vinny found in Jemma's hotel room," Simona beings to explain to everyone. "And, they had gun residue all over them and Frederick's DNA on them."

"What are you saying?" Trenyce asks her in surprise, as Daisy puts her head down in shock.

"We have reason to believe that Jemma killed Frederick," Simona replies, as Donovan and Meggan look at each other in horror. "I think we convicted the wrong person for the crime."
