Scene One - Twin Peaks General Hospital

"I can't believe that I am getting released so quickly," Adam tells Craig< as the doctor hands his patient his release papers from the hospital. Adam feels like the last couple of days have been a whirlwind; he had planned on proposing to Robin after the Robertson Enterprises Christmas campaign photo shoot for the facial cream, but when he went to the boutique to pick up Robin, he was caught under some falling scaffolding and had to have surgery to prevent some internal bleeding that occurred from the falling debris that crushed him. When he awoke following his surgery, he had no time to adjust to what had happened because he learned that Dawn had been raped while she was the summer camp; he is devastated that some young man violated his daughter in that manner. If anything, he wants to kill the son of a bitch. But, he just hopes that he be there for Dawn now, even though she lashed out at him and Helen because they are the ones who sent her there. He hopes that she will realize that having her parents around right now, is the best thing for her.

"You're very lucky," Craig replies to him as he points to where Adam has to sign on his release forms. "You could have been injured far worse than what you were."

"I feel lucky," Adam admits to him. "But, I am glad that I get to go home because my family needs me right now."

"Just remember to take it easy the next couple of days," Craig tells him. "If I had it my way, you would stay in the hospital for a couple more days. But you know, bed shortages and what not."

"I promise I'll take it easy," Adam signs the release documents. "Like I said, I'm just glad that I get to leave here today."

"Before you go," Craig stops him from leaving the bed. "We do need to talk about some of your test results that have come back."

Adam arches his eyebrow, wondering what could be the issue. "Well, obviously it's not serious if I am getting out of here today?"

"It is something you can live with," Craig sits on the edge of the bed. "But, there's no easy way to tell you this."

"Just tell me," Adam says back to him. "It can't be that bad, Craig."

"You're impotent," Craig quickly tells him, as Adam feels the blood drain from his face. The last thing Adam expected was to be told that he couldn't make love to a woman again. "We don't know how long it will last, or if your abilities will ever come back, but…"

Adam shakes his head. "I don't believe this," Adam says back to him in shock. "Are you sure?"

"We are sure," Craig tells him. "After surgery, it is common for male parts to naturally do their thing while you're medicated; it didn't happen with you, so I ran more tests and it shows that you're not having proper blood flow to your organ."

Adam shakes his head, feeling a mixed of emotions from anger to embarrassment. How can he possible ask Robin to marry him now that he will never be a man for her again? "I'm sorry, if I can do anything to assist," Craig tells him as he can see Adam is struggling with the news.

"There's nothing you can do," Adam whispers back to him, still reeling from the news.

"The offer stands," Craig stands up from the bed. "If you need anything, come back and I can set you with someone to talk too."

Adam uneasily smiles back to him. "I will keep that in mind."

***

"Dominick, we should go home," Eva tells her husband, as she comes into the waiting room holding a bottle of water and passes it to him. She knows that he is still at the hospital because Felicia is still sleeping following being trapped in the boutique while the fire blazed around her. While she did inhale a lot of smoke, the bigger concern is her head injury from some falling debris from the scaffolding that collapsed on Adam. She can tell that he is worried about his ex-wife, but Eva also knows that Dominick should be focused on himself because if he's not well rested, he won't be any good to Felicia when she does wake up. "Felicia will be sleeping for the rest of the night, Victoria said she would because of her concussion. Let's go get some rest ourselves?"

"I don't know that I want to leave," Dominick admits to her. "The fact that Simona Lopez is hovering and wants to question her about the fire, it makes me feel uneasy."

Eva sighs and moves some of her hair behind her shoulders. Eva knows that Dominick doesn't want to believe that Felicia had something to do with the fire, but she isn't so sure. She knows that Felicia was off her medication, which means that she could have been capable of anything; Eva recalls seeing one of her meltdowns a few weeks earlier.

"I can tell by the look on your face that you're thinking about something," he tells her, as he takes a sip of his water. "What is it, Eva?"

Eva shrugs as she uneasily looks back at him. "I think we have to be open to the possibility that Felicia did start the fire," she reveals to him, as his eyes open wider in surprise by her comments.

"No," he quickly snaps back at her, refusing to believe there is any truth to his wife's thoughts. "There's no way that Felicia would have started that damn fire! There's no way!"

"I would agree with you if she had been on her medication," Eva replies to him quickly. "But the fact is, she hasn't been on her medication. And, we know what happens when she goes off her medication, Dominick. The last time she went off her pills, she kidnapped Leah and there was the huge explosion in Lake Tahoe."

"That was years ago," Dominick yells to her. "No, she couldn't have done this. I know Felicia better than anyone else, I know she couldn't have done this."

Eva pulls him into a tight hug. "I hope for your sake that you're right," she whispers into his ear. "But, I think we have to brace ourselves for the worst."

Scene Two - Twin Peaks Sun; Andy's Office

Andy sits at his desk working on his piece for the morning edition of the paper, which is due in the next hour or so. He usually has to work rather late so his article for the morning edition can be as updated as possible, but tonight, it feels like there is some other urgency in the air as there are other reporters and writers rushing around the office. He stops and stands up before he moves to the door to his office.

He stops one of the reporters rushing by him. "Hey, Kelsey, what's up? Why are there so many people working late tonight?"

"You haven't heard the news?" she asks him as he shakes his head no back to her. "The Robertson Enterprises Boutique, it burnt to the ground tonight. There was a huge fire; Felicia Robertson was caught inside and she is the prime suspect of the fire."

"Wow," Andy replies to her quickly, clearly taken aback by the news. "I hadn't heard. Hopefully she's okay."

"We are all scrambling to get the story to the press," Kelsey tells him, as she realizes that she has documents in her hand still. "I have to get this to the editor."

"Yea, of course," he says back to her, as he moves back into his office. He closes the door before he moves back to his desk and sits down. He slowly takes a deep breath, as his mind races back to Kim telling him that she wanted revenge on Dominick for his role in Blake's death. He doesn't know why, but he suddenly gets an uneasy feeling in the pit of his stomach.

"Kim," he whispers to himself, hoping that his sister didn't have anything to do with the fire at the boutique. "Please, tell me that you didn't have anything to do with this fire."

Scene Three - The Calimo Mansion

"I can't believe that we just did that," Kim tells Bob as they lay naked next to one another in Bob's king size bed in the master bedroom of the mansion. Kim recalls how Bob kissed her when he realized that she is the one who started the fire at the boutique and it escalated until they ended up making passionate love. It was the first time they had been together in that sense since before she revealed the truth to Bob that Tyler had been blackmailing her into having sex with him because she gave him the formula for the facial cream; she didn't realize how much she had missed Bob's touch or how much she needed to feel desired again.

Bob chuckles back to her as she lifts her head off his bare chest. "I certainly hope you are not complaining," he replies to her, as he admires her naked body.

"Not at all," she purses her lips back to him. "It was just unexpected, that's all."

"I know we have had our ups and downs, Kimberly," Bob replies to her quickly. "But, after everything that has happened, I realize something."

"What is that?" she asks him.

"I want you back," he admits to her. "I think we have a chance to put our marriage back together. Tonight has proved that, don't you think?"

"Why is that?" she asks him another question. "Because, I burned the boutique to ground? I'm not sure that this is the healthiest of reasons to get back together, Bob. We always have a way of being destructive when we are together."

"It's not just that," Bob tells her. "I love you, Kimberly. I always have. I always will. The fire, you taking action like that, it just reminded me of why I love you. We aren't destructive, we are passionate people. That's part of our attraction."

"I appreciate that," she says back to him. "But the fact of the matter is, I could go to jail for a very long time for what I have done. That is something we both have to understand and acknowledge before we decide to be in a relationship again."

"Don't you know that I will do whatever I can to protect you?" Bob asks her back, as they lock eyes. "I will do whatever I have to do make sure that you don't pay for this crime, because it wasn't a crime at all. Dominick got exactly what he deserved. It is nothing more than a beautiful karma."

Kim smiles back to him as she leans in and kisses him passionately. "And, that's why I love you," she says as their lips part. "You have always protected me."

"Always," he smiles back to her before he kisses her again, pulling her in closer to him than before.

Scene Four - The Park

Tyler walks through the park slowly as he tries to clear his head from everything that has happened in the last couple of hours. He can't believe that he was back at the hospital again so quickly after Blake's death, because Felicia was caught in the fire at the boutique. He doesn't know what he will do if something happens to his mother; he can't lose someone else that is so close to him so quickly after he has lost Blake because he doesn't know how he will handle that.

"I just wish I knew what she was doing at the boutique," he whispers to himself, as he continues to walk down the pathway. "She usually doesn't leave the house at the hour that she did. Something must have set her off."

Of course, he knows that Felicia finding out the truth about Dominick's role in Blake's death could have been what set her off. Not that he would blame her, he knows that he has been struggling with Dominick's role in his son's death as well, so it is only natural that Felicia would also be upset by the truth.

"Damn you Dad," he continues to talk to himself. "I hate that Mom was caught in this fire, but part of me is glad that the boutique is gone. It's one less reminder that Blake is dead."

Before he can say anything else, he stops in his tracks when he sees Daisy sitting on a bench that is looking out at the frozen river. Just then, snow lightly starts falling from the sky. Tyler moves up to the bench, as he thinks about the kiss that they shared recently when Daisy stopped by his place.

"Is this seat taken?" he asks her as she looks up at him and she shakes her head no. He sits next to her. "What are you doing out here by yourself? It's getting a little bit chilly."

Daisy smirks back to him. "Probably the same reason that you're walking in this weather," she tells him before she looks at him. "Vinny and I were together earlier," she reveals to him. "He doesn't understand my point of view about my mother's passing. I just didn't want to be around him anymore, so I came for a walk and ended up sitting on this bench just thinking."

"Good thoughts, I hope?"

Daisy shrugs her shoulders. "I don't know," she tells him. "I feel like my life is pretty confusing right now. I guess I was just seeking clarity. What about you? Why are you out here?"

Tyler smirks back to her a little. "I was looking for clarity too, actually," he admits to her. "There was a fire tonight at my father's boutique and my mother was in the building while it burnt."

"My God," Daisy gasps. "Is Felicia okay?"

"She should be, yea," Tyler replies to her. "But, you know, being back at the hospital so soon after Blake…I don't know, it just brought up all those feelings again."

He looks at his leg when Daisy puts her hand on it and squeezes it a little. "I'm sorry," she tells him as their eyes lock. "I know that the pain is still fresh and raw."

"I don't know that I will ever be okay again," he admits to her. "But, I appreciate that."

"If I can do anything…"

"What can anyone really do?" he asks her as she shrugs. "Actually, there is something."

"What is it?"

He moves closer to her and kisses her again. She pulls back from him as the snow continues to fall down on them, but he leans in and kisses her again.

Scene Five - The Tower's; Floor Three; Shelley's Condo

"Who could that be at this hour?" Shelley asks Dawn, as she stands up from the sofa and moves to the door after they heard a knock on the door. Shelley opens the door and is shocked to see Helen, Adam and Barbara standing on the other side of the door. "Oh, goodness, this is a surprise."

"Can we come in?" Adam asks, causing Dawn to stand up from the sofa and look at her family standing at the doorway.

"Dad, you're out of the hospital?" Dawn asks him, which triggers Shelley to allow the three people into her condo. Adam moves into the living room and Dawn gives him a hug. "It's good to see you."

"Thanks," Adam says as they exit their embrace. "And yea, I got out tonight. Craig told me to take it easy the next couple of days, but I'm glad that I am out of the hospital."

"We prayed for your recovery and it worked," Barbara chimes in, as she grabs her cross necklace which causes Dawn to roll her eyes. She heard enough of God's work at the bible camp.

"The reason we came here tonight," Helen looks at her daughter. "Is because we want you to move back home. We want to be there for you right now, all of us."

"Your mother is right," Barbara agrees with Helen. "We have all…accepted who you are as a person…we want you home."

Dawn lets a tear fall down her cheek, wishing this was the reception she received from Barbara when she first came out to her. "Well, isn't' that nice," she wipes her eye dry. "You didn't want to accept me for who I was before but now you do? You only accept me now, Barbara, because I was raped!"

"No, darling, please," Barbara pleads with her granddaughter.

"Have you told your precious friends in your church group about me?" Dawn asks her, as Barbara covers her mouth in shock by the way Dawn is lashing out at her.

"Dawn, please, we don't want to fight with you," Adam calmly tells her, hoping that she will be able to put this all behind them.

"I don't want to fight either," Dawn shrugs her shoulders. "But, you have to understand that I was raped! I have been violated in the most horrible of ways, and … I blame you because you sent me that damn camp! If you had just accepted me for who I was before, none of this would have happened!"

"This is my fault!" Barbara cries back to her, as she rushes up to Dawn. "Please just hear me out."

"Don't touch me!" Dawn recoils from her touch. "If you think listening to your pathetic excuses will change anything, you're wrong! Now, get out! Get out of here! I don't want to see you, any of you! I'm not ready for this!"

"Dawn…" Helen pleads to her daughter as water fills her eyes.

"I think you all should leave," Shelley comes up behind them, seeing how upset Dawn is. "Dawn needs time to process everything that has happened."

Adam looks at his daughter, hoping that the visit would have turned out differently. He can see how much pain she is in and it is killing him; he just wants to be there for her. "We are here for you Dawn," he whispers to her. "Whether you want to believe that or not, we love you and we are here for you."

Dawn lets another tear fall down her cheek before she turns around, not wanting to see her family anymore. More tears flow from her eyes, so she covers her mouth. Shelley comes up behind her after she sees Adam, Helen and Barbara out and puts her hand on Dawn's shoulder. Dawn turns around and collapses into her arms, weeping the entire time.
