on One Day at a Time The Tower's; The Penthouse; Cory & Natasha's Home "So, Robbie seemed a little off at breakfast, but I'm not sure why," Natasha tells Cory, who is sitting on the sofa in the penthouse looking over some documents for Wild Night. "And, the good news is, at least for right now, my Dad is not marrying Kim again." Cory remains silent listening to Natasha's update from the family breakfast. He had, of course, been invited to the event, but he wanted to stay home and get caught up on some work. And, he still hasn't been able to get Natasha's behavior out of his mind from the night of Shane's birthday party. He still can't believe that she would use such a time to publically expose Cassie for using Shane; he just wishes that she could move beyond the feud that they have. "You're so quiet this morning," Natasha observes to him as she moves over to the sofa. "Please tell me you're not upset with me?" Cory finally looks up at his wife. "Upset with you doesn't even begin to cover it," he admits to her. "The fact that you can't let go of this feud, it's really troubling to me." "You have to understand why I feel the way I do about Cassie Nova," she tells him. "That woman has tortured me, for crying out loud!" "I know what she has done," he replies to her he stands up. "But, at some point you have to deal with what has happened and you have to move on. You will never forget, I know, but you can't let this dictate who you are now. The fact that you are letting it control you, that's my problem. And, to be honest, it's making me question everything." Natasha shakes her head in confusion. "I don't understand," she admits to him. "What are you questioning? Our marriage?" "No, I love you too much to throw away our marriage," Cory tells her. "But, I am wondering about having a child. Maybe we shouldn't be adopting a baby after all." "How can you say that to me?" "Because, Nat, what if we had a baby at that party. How would he or she feel seeing their mother publically humiliate another person? I don't want to bring a child into the world with that hovering over our head. I won't." The Sugarbowl "You know that Vinny was really worried about you," Trenyce tells Daisy as they sit across from one another in the back booth, as she tells her Aunt about Vinny's mood at Shane's birthday party. "I'm glad I was there because I'd like to think I calmed him down." Daisy sighs as she takes a sip of her latte as she knows that Vinny was upset with her; his cold tone with her said everything that she needed to know. At least, Daisy thinks to herself, she told Tyler that they can't see one another anymore. She can't risk anyone, especially Vinny, learning that she was in bed with him which is why she was late to the party. "I know he was," she replies to Trenyce. "I've apologized so many times. He doesn't seem to want to hear it." "Well, I think it is because he is still upset that you have blamed him for Jemma's death." "I don't want to rehash this right now," Daisy tells her niece. "I can't change how I feel. What's going on with you? Any progress with Chris?" It's Trenyce's turn to sigh a little. "No, and there won't be. He cheated on me, I'm not going to go back from that." Daisy looks to the door as Chris moves inside the coffeehouse. "Well, if you change your mind, here's your chance. He just walked in." "Ugh, I won't change my mind," she purses her lips together. "Andrew and Paige are coming this way," Daisy tells her. "I'm going to head to City Hall, I have a busy day, we'll talk soon?" "Have a good day Aunty." *** "Hey, thanks for meeting me this morning," Chris moves up to the window bar with two coffees and he passes one to Helen. Helen looks at her former lover and wonders why he asked to meet with her. She knows that things were over between them last fall when she realized that he was going to end their relationship to be with Trenyce. Still, she wishes she knew how that night that he was going to end their romance, they ended up in bed together. She still can't remember that night, if she is honest with herself. "It sounded important," Helen finally replies to him as she takes a sip of her coffee. "It is," Chris replies to her. "I'm just hoping you can help me with something." "I'll try my best. What's going on?" "It's about that night last fall," he looks back at her. "Have you remembered anything at all?" Helen takes another sip of her coffee before she shakes her head no. "Not a damn thing," she admits to him. "I still have no idea how we ended up in bed together. I mean, we only had a couple glasses of wine." "I know," Chris sighs in frustration. "I wish I could remember everything. Trenyce, she's still being cold to me and I can't get her to understand that I don't remember what happened." "If I could help, I would," Helen replies to him. "I know that I was upset when I found out that you were going to leave me to be with her, but so much time has passed and I'm over it now. I just want you to be happy." "Thanks Helen, I want that for you too," Chris smiles back to her. "If you do remember anything, let me know?" "Of course." *** At the back booth, Trenyce looks across the table to see Andrew and Paige sitting with her as they joined her after Daisy exited a few moments earlier. "I'm glad that I am seeing you," Trenyce says as she looks over at Andrew. "How have you been?" Andrew takes a sip of his latte. "I've been good, really good, actually. Being with Paige has really helped me turn a new leaf, I think." "It is true," Paige purses her lips together. "He's always in a good mood lately." Trenyce chuckles back to her. "Being happy and in love does that to a person." Andrew looks back at Trenyce and suddenly gets pains of guilt in his chest; he knows that she is in love with Chris, or was before his scheme to make it appear that Helen and Chris slept together last fall. He can see the pain still fresh in Trenyce's eyes. "I'm sorry," he says causing Trenyce and Paige to look at him. "Why are you sorry?" Paige asks him before looking back at Trenyce. Andrew shrugs his shoulders. "I don't know," he quickly tries to cover. "Here we are going on about how happy we are, and I know things haven't been easy for you since you found Chris with Helen." Trenyce reaches over and grabs his hand. "You're sweet for caring," she looks into his eyes. "But, I'm fine. And, I'll be fine." "Okay, I'm glad to hear it," Andrew gulps hard, trying to get the guilt out of his mind. But, as he looks over at Trenyce, the voice inside his head gets louder and louder trying to tell him to do the right thing. Dominick's Townhouse "So, that is why I've called you all here today," Dominick finishes telling Eva, Tyler, Leah and Robin about Simona's offer regarding Felicia; either she can go to Raven's Meadow or she will be prosecuted. Dominick, still, is having a hard time thinking that Felicia started the fire but he can't deny that it is damaging that she is saying she started it. "We have to make a decision about what we are going to do with Felicia, and frankly, I wanted all of your inputs." "I'm not sure I should have much of a say," Robin admits to her family. "I mean, Felicia is not mother. I will support anything the rest of you decide to do." "I think Raven's Meadow is the best option," Tyler tells everyone. "She was off her medication at the time of the fire; maybe she needs the additional supervision." "And, it certainly won't help her being in jail. How will she get help if she's behind bars?" Leah asks everyone. "Robin," Eva looks across the table. "I hate to bring this up now, but you were at Raven's Meadow; what are your thoughts on Felicia going there?" Robin uneasily looks back at her family, as she remembers how her mother, Melissa, put her in a mental hospital and was drugging her to keep her there in order to keep Robin away from Cory, when they were married. "Well, to be honest, I don't have good memories because my mother and Caroline Fitzpatrick were drugging me to keep me there," Robin recalls the past with her family. "But, the facility itself is state of the art. And, without Caroline running the show there, I've heard nothing but good things about the hospital now. I think Greg Lawson is the chief of staff there and his reputation speaks for itself." "It sounds like we have made a decision," Dominick looks back at his family. "We will send Felicia to Raven's Meadow." "I think it's for the best, Dad," Tyler tells him as they look at each other with an intensity. "Me too," Leah grabs Tyler's hand. "Now, if we can just get you and Dad back on good terms, this family could try to heal." "One thing at a time," Dominick tells his daughter, as he and Tyler make eye contact again knowing that they still have tension between them from Dominick's role in Blake's death. "I'll let Simona Lopez know our decision then." Twin Peaks General Hospital Felicia lays in her hospital bed with her eyes closed. The medical staff at the hospital have been administrating her sedatives to help her sleep, but currently, her rest is not one of comfort. She is moving around in her bed violently, as she is having a dream. [Flash] Felicia walks around the boutique as smoke is filling the space. She looks around, desperate to try to find an escape but she doesn't see one. "Someone! Somebody help me!" she cries out, as flames being to surround her. She turns around quickly and can faintly see someone standing outside the boutique, but she can't make it out who it is. "Help me! I'm in here and there's a fire! Help me!" [Flash] In the bed, Felicia thrashes again in the bed. "Help me," she whispers in her sleep. "I see you out there! You have to help me, I'm trapped in this fire!" Robertson Enterprises; The Studio Paige slowly opens the door to the studio and moves inside, immediately seeing Max looking over some proofs on the large work table. "Hi," she says as she approaches him. "I was at the Sugarbowl earlier with Andrew and thought you might want a coffee." He looks back at her with a sly grin on his face before he accepts the cup of java from her. "That's sweet of you, thank you." Paige shrugs her shoulders. "Don't mention it, I was thinking about you, I guess." "You were?" "Yea, at Shane's party you said that the girl you liked blew you off," Paige reminds him. "I wanted to make sure that you were okay. How are you doing?" It's Max's turn to shrug his shoulders. "It's still raw to be honest, but I'm trying to move on. I can't dwell on it, right, just move forward?" Paige nods back to him. "Yea, it sucks now, but in the long run it's probably for the best." "It's just nice having some good friends, like you, around me right now. It helps from being depressed all the time," Max looks back at her. "And, bringing coffee is definitely a good thing." Paige chuckles back to him. "I'm glad I can make you feel better, I don't want to see you hurt in anyways." "Thanks Paige, you have no idea how much I needed this." MW Investigations Robin opens the door to the investigation firm and quickly moves inside. Following her family meeting, she rushed over because she is determined to uncover the truth about Adam's accident. She can accept that he doesn't want to be with her anymore, but she still wants to know why. After he recent conversation with Max, she thinks that, maybe, he had something to do with the incident that happened last fall at the boutique. And, if that's the case, he has to pay for what he has done. She moves to Meggan's office door and opens it, but is surprised to see Brad sitting behind her desk. "Oh, I'm sorry, I was hoping to see Meggan Richardson," Robin tells him. "Yea, it's fine," Brad stands up to greet her. "She's at a medical appointment. I'm in charge while she's away." "Oh," Robin shakes his hand back. "I didn't realize she had a partner." "I don't think she does either," he winks back to her. "We are still ironing out the details. Anyways, have a seat how can we help you?" "Well," Robin tells him. "I need you to investigate a situation that happened last fall. I need to know if someone caused an accident. And, it's most urgent." "You have my attention," Brad nods back to her. "Tell me everything so I can get started." City Hall Daisy opens the door to her office and moves inside, knowing that she has a million things to do for her upcoming campaign today. She hangs up her jacket and turns around but jumps up when she sees Vinny sitting at her desk. "I didn't mean to startle you," he says standing up from her desk. "I got here early and had to talk to you about something." Daisy moves up to him and her desk. "You did scare me," she tells him. "I'm not used to someone being in my office when I get here." "Sorry." "It's fine," she replies to him quickly. "What did you want to tell me?" "I've hired a campaign manager," he reveals to her as she looks back at him in surprise. "You and I both know we can't do it all ourselves; we need the help if we want to win the campaign." Daisy nods back to him. "I appreciate you taking the initiative," she tells him. "I wasn't sure where we stood; we've had tension lately." "We still do at home," Vinny reminds her. "But, like you said the other day, we have to focus on this election. We don't have any time to waste." "I'm glad you agree with me," she says back to him. "So, who is my campaign manager? When do I get to meet this person?" "You've met him already," Vinny tells her as they lock eyes. "It's Lukas. I've hired your half brother." "You're joking, right?" she laughs at him. Her laughter stops when she realizes that he is being serious. "Lukas hates me! Why the hell would you hire him?" "Because, he's a good manager. He'll help us with this campaign. He was the best person for this job," Vinny tells her. "I realize you haven't always gotten along with him, but this could be a way for you two to grow closer." "I'm sorry if I don't think my career is a testing field for my family relations," Daisy spits at him. "Okay, I get it, you're not happy," he puts his hand up. "If you want me to fire him, I can. But at least give him a try. It's the least you could do." Daisy sighs heavily realizing that the tension in her marriage is officially moving over into the office. How could Vinny hire Lukas knowing their sorted history with one another? Still, he does have appoint; she should give her brother a chance, he might end up surprising her. "Fine," she whispers back to him. "But if he screws up once, it's over. I don't have time for mistakes." The Tower's; The Penthouse; Cory & Natasha's Home "Look, Cory," Natasha moves up to her husband and grabs his hand. "I'm sorry, okay? I know you were uncomfortable with me going after Cassie. I guess I didn't realize how much it was upsetting you. But, you can't be serious about us not adopting a child. We've come through so much together to get to this point." "I appreciate your apology," Cory looks her in the eyes. "And, I do want a child with you, of course I do. I just need to know that you will put us, and our child, before any feud you have." Natasha pulls him into a hug. "You have to believe me when I tell you that you mean more to me than anything else, including this thing with Cassie Nova. I love you. I am sorry that I hurt you." "It's fine," Cory tells her as they exit their embrace. "I guess I should have communicated better to you how I was feeling." "Truce?" Natasha asks him. "Only if we can settle it in bed," Cory winks back to her, as Natasha giggles back to him. "Deal," she says as she moves to the stairs and starts to go up to the bedroom. She stops when Cory's phone starts to ring. "Cory Calvin," he answers his phone. "Yes, hi, we've been waiting for your call," he says as he looks at Natasha, who slowly starts to come back down the stairs. "You do? Really? Yes, that's great news! Please, keep up posted!" Cory hangs up the phone as Natasha looks back at her husband. "What was that all about?" "It was the social worker from the hospital," Cory replies to her as he looks into her eyes. "She told me that there is a child that is going to be going up for adoption once he or she is born. We might get our baby sooner than we expected." Next
