Episode Theme song: "Sidewalks"
the Weekend Previously
on One Day at a Time The Calimo Mansion; The Guesthouse aka the Gen Next House Cheresa opens the door from the Gen Next House that leads into the back yard where the pool is. A loud Britney Spears song is now playing on the stereo as she walks on to the patio. She looks across the water and sees Abby still sleeping on the lounger, despite the loud music playing. She smirks to herself, thinking that they all believed having alcohol at the party would be a great idea but they are all light weights and got drunk pretty easily. Cheresa then stops in her tracks when she doesn't see Andrew; he had been outside wanting another beer, which is in her hands. She wonders where he went and that's when it happens: she looks into the pool and she sees Andrew's body floating face down in the water! "Andrew!" She screams as she rushes towards the pool. "Andrew! Are you okay?" She jumps in the pool, causing Abby to slowly wake up and realize what happened. By this time, Cheresa has reached Andrew's body and is pulling him to the edge. "Abby! Abby, help me! Please, call for help!" Cheresa gets Andrew's body on to the patio and she rolls him over and immediately starts performing CPR on him. Abby, meanwhile, rushes to the nearest camera. "Help! Please, please, help us! Andrew's hurt! Please call us an ambulance!" Cheresa and Abby stop and look at one another when a loud alarm bell starts going off, indicating that help has been called. Cheresa continues to perform CPR on Andrew. "Come on Andrew," she whispers to herself. "You're not going to die on me!" The Calimo Cabin "Okay, just remember your breathing," Leah encourages Meggan, who is laying on the bed upstairs in the Calimo Cabin. Leah has towels surrounding her as Meggan has her knees up and she has started to push as she went into labour. Leah almost can't believe that what was supposed to be a weekend away with Jeff has turned into helping Meggan deliver her baby. She was surprised to find Meggan at the cabin, but she explain that her and Brad also wanted a weekend away. Once Leah advised that Jeff was on his way to the cabin, Meggan got upset and went into labour. Leah doesn't really understand why Meggan got so upset by the idea of seeing Jeff, but that is the furthest thing on her mind now because she has to help deliver this baby. "Leah," Meggan replies in between contractions. "I can't believe this is happening. I should be at the hospital! I can't have this baby here!" "Try to stay calm, okay?" Leah tells her, knowing that it is easier said than done. "We have no cell phone service up here, remember? And, there's no way I could drive you back to Twin Peaks in time to have this baby. I'm going to have to help you deliver this baby, so just work with me." Meggan shakes her head as another contraction comes. "Ahhhh," she moans out in pain before she tries to do her breathing. "Good, you're doing a good job," Leah tries to praise her. "Just keep pushing, and don't worry, I'm not leaving you. You'll be fine, just fine and so will your baby." "Ahh, I hope you're right," Meggan says as sweat drops down her face. "Nothing can happen to this baby. Promise me that nothing will happen to my baby!" "I promise," Leah replies to her, hoping that she can keep that promise. The Pampa Grill "I'm glad you could have a drink with me while you wait for Natasha to arrive," Robin tells Cory as she picks up her glass of red wine and takes a sip of it. She is rather glad that she and her ex-husband have been able to remain close despite getting divorced. She appreciates his friendship. "Of course," he nods back to her. "It's nice to get away from the Calimo drama sometimes." Robin arches her eyebrow wondering what he is talking about. "Is everything okay between you and Natasha?" "Things couldn't be better," he replies to her quickly. "And, the baby is healthy." Robin feels her cheeks flush a little, remembering how and Cory's daughter was stillborn. "I'm really glad to hear that," she tells him. "After everything you have been through, it's nice that you're getting this chance to be a father." "I know that must be difficult for you to hear," Cory admits to her. "But, things, for the most part, are okay." "For the most part?" Cory sighs as he thinks about seeing Brooke and Robbie kissing at the Wild Night offices; he assumes that after he left, things escalated that the two had sex. If that did happen, and the truth came out, he is worried that Wild Night's reputation would be hurt, and thus, so would his business. Now, he thinks that selling to Bob would be the ideal thing to do, even though he doesn't really want too. "It's Wild Night, but I don't want to get into it. It's a long story," he finally tells her ."What's going on with you? How are things between you and Adam?" Robin can't help but get a smile on her face as she thinks about the fact that she and Adam have reunited and even made love recently. After months of not being together, which she still doesn't understand, they are back together. She couldn't be happier. "Things are going well, actually," she reveals to him. "We are back together and I couldn't be happier." "I'm really happy to hear that," Cory smiles back to her. "But, can I give you a word of advice?" "Of course." "Be careful," Cory advises her. "For the last six months or so, he has pushed you away; don't let him hurt you again, okay?" "Thanks," Robin nods back to him. "I appreciate that Cory." *** Natasha opens the door to the restaurant, moving inside as her large belly is slowing her down a little. She's desperately craving a lemonade while she and Cory have lunch together. As she moves into foyer, she sees Robbie sitting at the bar by himself. She wonders why he is back at the restaurant again; they had seen one another earlier in the day and he was going to go to Wild Night to pack up his office so he could move into City Hall, since he is now mayor of Twin Peaks. "Robbie, what are you doing back here again?" she asks her brother as she as she approaches him. "I thought you were going to clean out your office?" "I was," Robbie replies to her before he takes a sip of his beer. "I did, I mean." He can't help but recall how he and Brooke ended up making love in his office and then she revealed that it was a mistake because of her marriage to Greg. He can't believe that he was such a fool to get involved with her that way, but he can't take it back now. "What's wrong? I can tell by the look on your face that something is bugging you." "You've always known me so well," Robbie uneasily smiles back to his sister. "Let's just say that I think I'm in over my head with a woman." "Oh Robbie," she sighs back to him. "After everything you went through with Leah and Victoria, I was hoping you'd learn your lesson." Robbie chuckles back to her. "You'd think, huh? I guess matters of the heart are still complicated." "Yes, they certainly are," Natasha agrees with him. "Look, I'm meeting Cory, but if you need anything " "I know, I know," he tells her. "Go be with your husband. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine." *** "You've been ignoring me," Daisy tells Trenyce as they sit across from one another at a table. Daisy knows that her niece hasn't been very pleased with her since her affair with Tyler was exposed because of Trenyce's own history with Tyler and that she loves Vinny. Daisy just hopes that Trenyce will still be on her side since they are family. "Can you blame me?" Trenyce asks her, trying to stay calm. "You slept with Tyler, you have to have known the pain and damage that would cause this family." "Don't think that I haven't been torn up about this," Daisy replies to her quickly. "I have hated that I was hurting Vinny, he is my husband." "Then why did you do it? Why did you cheat on him?" "Sometimes," Daisy begins to explain to her. "These things just happen. I can't explain it any better than that. Vinny and I, we were very far apart because of Jemma's death and I Tyler understood what I was going through." "Because of Blake's death?" Trenyce asks her as Daisy slowly nods back to her. "I know it doesn't change anything but it is the truth," Daisy tells her, as she sees Vinny walk into the restaurant. She looks back at Trenyce for a moment. "I see Vinny, I should go talk to him." "Daisy, wait," Trenyce tries to stop her, but Daisy stands up and quickly moves to the front of the restaurant. Trenyce turns around to see the action unfold, but that's when she sees Tyler sitting alone in the far corner of the restaurant. "Vinny," Daisy says as she approaches her husband. "I'm glad I ran into you. You haven't been answering any of my calls or texts." Vinny puts his hands in his pockets, not wanting to get into anything with Daisy today. He had hoped to come in for a drink and then leave, now he has to deal with his wife, which is the last thing he wanted to do. "I was hoping you'd take the hint and leave me alone," he replies to her. "There's nothing left to say, Daisy." "How can you say that?" she asks him. "We are still husband and wife! I want this marriage to work!" Vinny chuckles back to her. "Then you should have thought about that before you spread your legs for Tyler Robertson," he sneers back to her. "Because, there's nothing left for us now. I refuse to be played for a fool any longer." "I never meant for any of this to happen," Daisy gets tears in her eyes. "I want to make this up to you." "If you want to do anything for me," he glares back to her. "Then you'll stay the hell away from me!" *** Trenyce approaches Tyler's table and clears her throat so he looks up at her. She shakes her head at him, wondering why he would be at the restaurant at the same time she is there with Daisy. Trenyce doesn't want anything more drama to unfold and if Vinny sees Tyler, he could end up with another black eye. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" she asks him. Tyler picks up his beer. "Having a drink, what does it look like?" "Do you know that my Aunt is here?" she asks him. "And, she's talking to Vinny right now. If he sees you ." "What? He's going to hit me again?" Tyler asks her. "Look, Trey, I know you're trying to help, but you're making things worse. I'm not looking for trouble, I'm just trying to live my life. And, if you think I'm going to sit at home and hide because I'm worried about running into Daisy or Vinny, you have another thing coming." "Okay, I'm sorry," Trenyce puts her hands up. "I guess I just hate the pain that this has caused everyone." "I know you do, and I don't like it either," Tyler tells her. "But what's done is done." "What do you want to do now?" He sighs and looks back at her, remembering how he kissed Daisy when she came to see him recently. "I don't know, I'm waiting for Daisy to make her next move." Trenyce looks back at him in surprise. "You're waiting for her? Does that mean you have feelings for her?" she asks him, stunned by what he is saying. Tyler looks back at her for a moment before she gasps. "My God, you do! Tyler, you're playing with fire, and you are going to get burned." Raven's Meadow "You're doing a wonderful job around here, Victoria, I don't know what I did before you got here," Greg tells the doctor as they stand in his office. He can't believe how much work Victoria has taken off his desk, and he couldn't be happier about that. "I appreciate you saying that," Brandy, Victoria's alter ego, who is still in control of Victoria's mind, replies to him quickly. "I've really been enjoying my time here. It's a nice change of pace from TPGH." Greg chuckles back to her. "That is it," he agrees with her just as his telephone rings. "Oh, excuse me for a moment. Dr. Lawson," he says picking up his phone. "Dominick, hi, nice to hear from you." Brandy arches her eyebrow as she listens to the conversation, or at least half of it. "That's great news, I think the electroshock therapy will do Felicia a world of good! Yes, I'll be in touch." "Electroshock therapy?" Brandy asks him, curious about the conversation. Greg nods back to her. "Yes, to Felicia Robertson. We believe that is best course for her treatment." "I see, that's good to know," Brandy nods back to him. "Look, I have to do my rounds. We'll catch up soon?" "Absolutely, thanks again for all the work you're doing." Brandy scurries out of the office, but pauses once she closes Greg's door behind her. "Interesting," she whispers to herself. "Very interesting." *** In the common room, there are sofas set up and tables in the middle of the room where patients can play games, read books or watch some TV. In the corner of the room, Felicia sits next to Barbara, as she waits for the next bingo number to be called. Every Wednesday is bingo day, which Felicia has learned to love. She looks over at Barbara, as she grabs another dry piece of macaroni, which they use to cover the called numbers, and smiles. "I'm glad I finally remember who you are," she says. "You're Helen's mother, Barbara. I must admit, it's nice to see a familiar face in here." Barbara looks forward as the caller shouts out, "B-15". "I only need two more numbers," Felicia excitedly tells her. "You're not very talkative, and that's okay, just know that you have a friend in here, okay?" Barbara nods back to her and gets a small smile on her face. Just then, Brandy walks up to them. "Ladies, how is bingo going?" "Very well, thank you," Felicia replies to her quickly. "Barbara still isn't talking, but she will come around, I'm sure." "Yes," Brandy looks at Barbara and sees the woman who sent Dawn to the bible camp, resulting her rape. "And, I think I know just the perfect treatment for her to help her get back on track. Isn't that wonderful?" she smiles to Barbara, who continues to look forward. Roboto; Bob's Office "You're still here," Bob announces to his wife as he storms into his office, desperately seeking a drink from his bar. He hasn't been able to get his mind the vision that he saw a few hours earlier: Kim, his newly wedded wife, and Greg Lawson engaged in a steamy kiss in his office. He has no idea what the hell is going on, but he refuses to be played for a fool by Kim, especially after everything they went through with Tyler a few years ago. "Good, we have to talk." Kim watches her husband move to the bar and pour a scotch. "It's a bit early to have a scotch, isn't it?" "No, don't you dare question me," he replies after taking a healthy sip. "What's gotten into you?" Kim asks him as she stands up from the desk and moves closer to him. "Funny you should ask," He replies to her as he looks at her. "I was coming to see you earlier, here in my office, and you'll never believe what I saw," he continues as she feels the blood drain from her face. "You and Gregory Lawson engaged in a lip lock. Jesus Christ, if you're going to cheat on me, at least do it somewhere we I don't have to witness it." "It's not what you think," Kim immediately replies to him. Bob chuckles back to her. "Really? You kissing another man isn't what I think it is? Then tell me, Kimberly, what the hell is it?" Kim sighs and looks back at him. "You know that I've been visiting Greg on a regular basis," she informs him. "To get information about Felicia and her status in Raven's Meadow. Well, from the first visit, he was very flirty with me. Today, he crossed a line with the kiss, and I made him aware of that. But Bob, there is nothing going on between us. You have to believe me." "I do want to believe you," he replies to her. "But the fact is " Before he can finish his sentence, the phone on his desk starts to ring. Kim turns around and picks it up. "Kimberly Calimo," she says into the phone. "What the hell? Are you sure? My God " She hangs up the phone and looks back at Bob. "What is it? What's happened?" he asks her setting his scotch down. "The Gen Next House, there's been an accident." The Sugarbowl "It's nice that you are out getting out of the house more often," Shelley tells her friend as they sit across from one another in the back booth of the coffeehouse. Dawn picks up her latte and takes a sip of it. "I realized that I can't keep hiding away," she replies to her. "I know that I have to get out and start living my life again." "That's very wise of you," Shelley nods back to her. "The pain you have suffered, it won't go away overnight, but you're right, you do have to start living again." "That's why I was glad to accept your invite today," Dawn smiles back to her. "And, it'll be nice to have Cheresa home again soon too." Shelley uneasily nods back to her, thinking back to when she asked Cheresa if she had feelings for Dawn. Cheresa didn't give her a direct answer, which leads Shelley to believe that she does have feelings for Dawn. "You have missed her, huh?" "Yea, of course I have," Dawn replies to her. "She's become a good friend." "Is that all?" Shelley finds herself asking her former lover. "Are you two just friends?" "Of course," Dawn tells her. "I'm in no place to have a relationship right now." "I get that," Shelley says back to her. "But, if you're honest with yourself, do you have feelings for Cheresa?" Dawn gulps and looks down, not wanting to hurt Shelley. She knows that the older woman helped her come to terms with her sexuality and she was the first woman Dawn was ever with. But, if she is honest, she has been attracted to Cheresa since they first met at the summer camp last year. "I guess I do have feelings for Cheresa, yea," Dawn admits back to her. Before Shelley can reply, Dawn's phone starting to ping. She pulls it out of her purse and looks up in horror at Shelley. "Dawn? What is it? What's wrong?" "There's been an accident at the Gen Next House," Dawn reveals to her. "We should get to the hospital." Twin Peaks General Hospital Abby, Max and Paige sit in waiting room chairs in the hospital as Cheresa paces back and forth waiting to hear something about Andrew. She was performing CPR on Andrew at the Gen Next House when the paramedics arrived to bring him to the hospital. Of course, the other house guests awoke from their drunkenness and now they are all waiting to hear something about their friend. "Sit down Cheresa," Abby tells her. "You're stressing me out!" "I'm stressing you you?" Cheresa snaps back at her. "I don't fucking care, you weren't the one who pulled Andrew out of that pool you were too busy sleeping off your hangover!" "Hey, hey, we were all drinking," Max defends Abby to Cheresa's attack. "What happened was a horrible accident, we just have to hope for the best about what is coming next." "Where is he? Where's Andrew?" a horrified Trenyce storms into the waiting room, with Chris following her. She just got word that Andrew was in an accident and she is desperate to find out what is happening to the boy she thought was her son for years. "We are waiting to hear back now," Cheresa tells her. "My God, what happened?" Trenyce asks her. Before Cheresa can start to explain, Shane moves into the waiting room and clears his throat to get everyone's attention. Trenyce turns to face him. "Shane, how is Andrew? Is he going to be okay?" The Calimo Cabin "One more push Meggan, and you should be done," Leah tells her, as she can see the baby emerging. She has tears in her eyes having never seen a child being born before. "You're doing amazing." "Ahhhhhhhh!" Meggan pushes as hard as she can as she grips down on the towels next to her. "That's it, you're almost there," Leah continues to coach her. "You're doing amazing!" Meggan pushes one final time and she lays back down into the bed as she can hear the cry of a baby. Leah grabs a fresh towel and cleans the baby off. She looks over at Meggan, whose eyes roll back into her head, exhausted from giving birth. "Meggan," Leah says coming up to her with the baby in her arms. "You have a beautiful baby boy." "A boy?" Meggan doesn't open her eyes. "Jeff? Where is Jeff?" Leah freezes as she looks at the baby and then back down at Meggan. Why is she calling out for Jeff? Leah asks herself as the baby starts to cry. "Jeff?" Meggan calls out again. "Jeff?" Next
