The Pampa Grill

Adam and Robin's engagement party continues to be in full swing as friends and family of the couple circle the restaurant drinking champagne and nibbling on food that waiters are serving. In the corner of the restaurant, Kim looks at her husband with desperation in her eyes. She is trying to get through to him, insisting that she is not having an affair with Greg, but rather, she was using him to get information on Felicia while she is in Raven's Meadow. Bob looks back at his wife and sighs heavily.

"Please, Bob, tell me that you love me," Kim says back to him while looking him deeply in the eyes. "Tell me that you believe me and that we can get past this? We have been through too much to lose it all because of Greg Lawson."

Bob moves closer to her and grabs her hand. "Of course I still love you," he whispers back to her. "That's why this has been so hard on me, because I thought you were having another affair."

"I can understand that."

"But, I do believe you," he says licking his lips together. "I believe that you were using Greg to get information. But Kimberly, that has to end now."

"It already has," Kim replies to him. "I told Greg that whatever it was is over. You mean too much to me to have anything else happen. Our marriage is the most important thing in the world."

He leans in and gives her a quick kiss on the lips. "I love you too," he admits to. "Consider this forgotten. We have more important things to focus on, like making sure Tyler doesn't figure out that we brainwashed Felicia."

"Why would Tyler figure that out?"

"He has our device," Bob replies to her. "I saw it on his desk the other day."

"Oh my God," Kim covers her mouth in shock. "We have to get it away from him."

"Don't worry, I will get it from him," Bob nods back to her. He looks over her shoulder and sees Greg walk into the dining room and immediately grabs a glass of champagne. "Look, there's Greg. I think you should speak to him again and tell him that it's over. He has to get it through his thick skull."

"Okay, I will. But as soon as I'm done, let's get out of here so we can stop Tyler?"

"That sounds perfect," Bob winks back to his wife.

"So, your Dad is engaged, how do you feel about that?" Paige asks Max, as she stands next to Andrew, Abby, Dawn and Cheresa. The friends haven't seen much of one another since the Gen Next House ended with Andrew being taken to the hospital, so they are enjoying catching up with each other.

"It's fine," Max nods back to them as he takes a sip of his ginger ale, knowing that all of their parents agreed to let them come to the party, but after seeing what drinking caused at the Gen Next House, none of them are permitted to have alcohol. "I just want him to be happy and if Robin makes him happy, then I'm cool. I am just glad that he and I are back on good terms."

"I can imagine," Dawn replies to him. "When I was at odds with my parents, it was the worst feeling in the world. I have to admit, I was a little jealous of seeing you guys in the house all summer! I sort of wish that I had applied."

"You were taking care of yourself," Cheresa nods back to Dawn. "There's no shame in that."

"She's right," Paige interjects. "You went through so much, more than any of us could imagine."

"But you're looking much better," Andrew tells her. "You've put the work in, you should be proud of yourself for that."

"Thanks guys," Dawn smiles back to her friends. "You guys are the best friends a girl could ask for."

"We, like, feel the same about you too," Abby chimes in before she looks over at Andrew lovingly, wishing she was next to him instead of Paige.

"Here's a glass of champagne for you," Chris tells Trenyce as he passes her a glass of bubbles. "We should toast the fact that we are looking for our child again."

"I'll drink to that," Trenyce purses her lips back together. "It's also nice to see a couple be happy together. It seems like there's always so much pain in people's lives."

"Are you talking about Daisy and Vinny?"

Trenyce nods back to him. "They were so happy for so long. It's sad to see what has become of them."

"I'm still in shock that Daisy had an affair," Chris admits to her. "When we were married, she was never that kind of woman."

"I think learning Frederick was her father and he raped Jemma really changed Daisy," Trenyce tells him. "She's still hurting from that."

"Okay, happier subject," Chris laughs back to her. "Let's toast to finding our child. We have to find her Trenyce, we just have too."

"We will," Trenyce nods back to him. "I believe that with every fiber of my being."

"I hope so, I truly do."

"Thanks for coming to this party with me," Brad smiles over at Meggan, who is holding a glass of champagne. "It's nice to get out of the house once in a while, even though it was difficult to leave Logan."

Meggan looks back at him and recalls how he recently figured out that Jeff is Logan's biological father. Instead of being upset with her, he kissed her and they have been on good terms since. Meggan can't help but feel relieved because she knows that Jeff can never know the truth; it is better for everyone that Brad is Logan's father. After everything that she and Jeff went through, Meggan was devastated when he went back to Leah. She has finally moved on and doesn't want to open those old wounds again.

"Of course," she nods back to him. "You're right, it was difficult to leave him but it's for the best. We have to have adult time too."

"I'm glad you feel that way."

"You never did tell me what your thoughts were on Chris and Trenyce's child," Meggan changes the subject, knowing that Brad thought he saw something in their file that she may have missed. Meggan is desperate to find out what that could be because she would like nothing more than to find the child. "What did you think of after you reviewed the file?"

"I told you that I ran into my Mom when I was getting our take out," Brad replies to her, thinking about his run in with Brooke. "Well, my youngest sister, Cheresa, she's adopted. I thought that maybe my mother could give me insight on the adoption process or which agency she used. My thinking was that maybe Chris and Trenyce's child was also adopted after she was sold on the blackmarket. It might just be another stone we haven't unturned yet."

"That's good thinking," Meggan tells him. "I hadn't thought of that. What did Brooke say? Was she helpful?"

Brad shakes his head no. "She was actually pretty stand offish. I'm not sure why."

Meggan arches her eyebrow. "That's odd. I wonder why? It's not like she has anything to worry about with Cheresa's adoption, right?"

"Right?"

"So, I wonder what the problem is then?"

"I have no idea," Brad admits to her. "But I intend to find out."

"Mom, are you okay?" Dawn asks Helen, who is grabbing another glass of champagne. Dawn can tell that Helen has had her share of champagne by the look on her face; her mother doesn't drink that often, so seeing her a little wobbly and with blood shot eyes is rare for Dawn. She doesn't know what is going on with her, but she knows that something must be up with her for Helen to be drinking this much.

Helen turns around and looks at her daughter, but can also see Adam and Robin laughing with Dominick behind them. She takes another healthy sip of her champagne before she looks back at her daughter. "I'm fine," she lies to her daughter, knowing that seeing Adam and Robin together is slowly eating away at her. Every time she shuts her eyes, she imagines her and Adam making love again; she can't erase it from her mind.

"No, you're not," Dawn replies to her. "I can tell when someone is going on with you. Let me help you?"

"You're sweet, but I promise you, I'll be okay. I shouldn't have had this much champagne, that's all. But, we are celebrating your father's engagement, right?"

Before Dawn can reply, Adam comes up to them with a smile on his face. "Two of my favorite girls, how are you? Enjoying the party?"

"Mom's had too much to drink," Dawn quickly tells him. "I hope you can talk some sense into her. I'm going back to see my friends. Mom, please get home safe."

"I wish she wouldn't worry about me," Helen waves her hand as Dawn walks away.

Adam sighs and looks at his ex-wife. "What is it? Why have you had so much champagne? That's not like you at all."

"I'm fine!" Helen almost shrieks but she controls herself. "I'm fine," she repeats herself in a more controlled voice as Adam looks back at her with intent. "Fine, this sucks, okay? I can't stop thinking about …"

"Don't say it," Adam moves closer to her. "That night we shared Helen, we can't keep dwelling on it, okay? We have to move on."

"I don't think I can," she admits to him. "I think I have to tell Robin or it will drive me crazy."

"You can't do that," Adam warns her. "You can't ruin everything I have going right in my life right now. Come on, I'll give you some water to help you sober up and you'll realize that I'm right," Adam tells her as he grabs her wrist and moves her to the back of the restaurant, where she can sit and have some water.

"Did you see Bob and Kim earlier? They looked like they were having a pretty heated conversation," Eva tells her husband as she takes a sip of her champagne. "I wonder if they were talking about Roboto or the Gen Next House?"

"I doubt it," Dominick replies to her quickly. "After Andrew's accident, I thought the sales would be ruined, but they have actually been very steady. I thought I was going to come out on top after all, but I'm still seeking a way to compete with them."

"Don't worry, darling, you will, you always do," Eva purses her lips together. "By the way, did you contact Greg Lawson to call off Felicia's electroshock therapy?"

"I did," Dominick tells her. "As soon as we spoke about, I didn't want to take the chance that he was going to proceed."

"I'm glad you did that," Eva replies to him. "You never know what his schedule was going to be."

"I know," Dominick admits to her. "And, the last time I saw her, she was doing so much better. We did the right thing, Eva. We stopped Greg from giving her a treatment that could have been harmful."

Twin Peaks General Hospital

Shane sits in his office with the door closed. On his desk is Craig's medical file; he recalls how he saw Craig recently and asked him if he could review his medical file because Shane know that is very rare for someone to get so sick so quickly after receiving an HIV positive diagnosis. Shane has always trusted Victoria as a doctor, but he did think a second review of the file would be good for Craig.

"Okay, let's see what's going on," he whispers to himself as he opens the file. He starts to read the documents in the file.

"Hmm," he says as he picks up a piece of paper. "That's interesting. According to these results, Craig doesn't even have HIV. Why would Victoria tell him he has HIV and then start giving him drugs?"

He sets the file back down on his desk and runs his hand over his face trying to put these pieces together. He has no idea why Victoria would give a misdiagnosis to someone, especially a friend and a co-worker. "What the hell is going on Victoria? Why would you do this? How could you have gotten this diagnosis wrong?"

Raven's Meadow

"Dr. Franky, are you sure that Dr. Lawson said it was okay for you to perform this procedure?" A nurse asks Brandy, who is still in control of Victoria's mind, as she walks into a hospital room in the mental facility. Strapped down to the bed is Barbara, who has a terrified look on her face. Around her head is another thick strap with wires looping through it; this is where the electrical currents will come from once Brandy turns the large machine on .

"Of course," Brandy rolls her eyes back to her. "Do you really think I would have done all of this if I didn't have permission from Dr. Lawson? Now, come on, the sooner we administrate this therapy, the sooner we can get Barbara back to her room. She'll need to rest afterwards."

"Okay," the nurse finally says moving up to her. "You have to ensure you only give her a small jolt at a time or her body won't be able to handle it."

"Understood," Brandy purses her lips together as she moves closer to the electroshock therapy machine. She turns it on, as Barbara's eyes open wider in horror. Brandy turns to look at Barbara and smiles back to her. "Now, don't worry. This is for your own good."

With that, Brandy slowly pulls the lever down to the minimum level and shocks start going through Barbara's body, which starts to shake uncontrollably. Brandy smiles at the sight, until the nurse comes up to her. "That's probably enough!"

"Yes, yes, you're right," Brandy realizes she has to stay in control, so she lifts the lever back up and the electrotherapy ends. "There, that's all for now. We'll schedule our next session very, very, soon," she says looking over at Barbara, who has passed out from the shock. "Come on," Brandy tells the nurse. "Let's get her into bed. She needs to rest."

The Pampa Grill

Kim quickly walks through the busy dining room of the restaurant, as Adam and Robin's engagement party continues to be in full swing. She sees Greg grabbing a glass of champagne and knows that she has to reach him quickly. She has to make sure that he realizes that anything that they might have been building towards is over; there was never anything between them because she is in love with Bob.

"Greg, I'm glad I ran into you," Kim announces to him as she approaches him.

Greg turns and arches his eyebrow in surprise. "You are? The last time you saw me, you told me that we were over. Have you had a change of heart?"

"On the contrary," she purses her lips together. "I'm here to reinforce our last conversation. You see, my husband has forgiven me for us kissing, but I won't risk him getting hurt again. So you have to understand that we can never kiss again."

"Yes ma'am," he winks back to her. "If that's what you want, Kim, I'm not going to do anything to hurt your marriage."

"Good, I appreciate that," Kim uneasily smiles back to him as he gets an incoming text message.

He pulls his phone out of his pocket and uneasily looks back at her. "What is it? Is everything okay?"

"I think so," he whispers back to her. "It's work related, I shouldn't discuss it," he says, re-reading the message that is informing him that Victoria completed the first round of electroshock therapy on Barbara. He doesn't know why, but he has a very uneasy feeling about even though he Victoria the okay to proceed with the procedure.

"Well, we are friends Greg," Kim moves closer to him, unaware Robbie is watching their interaction. "If you need anything, you know I'm here."

"I thought you just said…"

"I know what I said," she tells him. "We … we just have to be more careful," she blurts out, thinking that something is going on with Felicia. She knows that she has to find out if Felicia is on the verge of remembering anything. "No more kissing at Roboto, okay?"

"Okay," he smiles back to her. "That, I can definitely do."

"Good, so, what is going on? I'm all ears."

***

The front door of the restaurant opens and Tyler emerges. He raced over from his house to the party as soon as he finished listening to the device he found in Bob's study. He now knows that it is not a family heirloom the way Kim told him; he now knows exactly what Bob and Kim have done to his mother. He realizes that his mother shouldn't even be in the mental hospital because she never started the fire. The device was used to make her believe that she did; he can't believe that Bob and Kim would do this. The only question he has left, is why would they do this to Felicia? What were they trying to do?

"I will get the answers," he whispers to himself as he scans the room hoping to find Bob or Kim. It doesn't take him long until he sees Bob standing in the corner of the restaurant. Just the sight of the man makes Tyler's blood boil. "Okay, Bob, time to get some answers."
