Episode Theme song: "Don't
You Pretend" Kelly Clarkson Previously
on One Day at a Time The Victors Mansion "Hold on, I'm coming," Vinny says as he walks towards the front door as he can hear constant ringing of the doorbell. He has no idea could be so eager to see him, but he is getting annoyed at the constant sound of the doorbell. He opens the door and sees Daisy standing on the other side of the door. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" she asks him as he barges into the house she used to call her home. "By all means, Daisy, come on in. And, hello to you too. I'm well, thanks for asking," he slams the door closed behind her. He moves into the living room where she turns to face him. "What's going on?" "I spoke to Andy," she reveals to him. "He told me that you're planning to get revenge on me for the affair with Tyler." Vinny rolls his eyes back to her. "I was thinking about it, yes," he admits to her. "But for your information, I've moved on from that idea." "Well thank God," Daisy breathes a sigh of relief. "We need to put this behind us, Vinny. We have to move on with our lives, don't you think? I've been through enough!" "You've been through enough?" he asks her back. "In case you have forgotten, Daisy, I was the one who found about your affair through the newspaper, not the other way around." "Don't remind me," Daisy waves her hand in the air. "Look, Vinny, we had a rough ending to year. Can we please put everything behind us and move forward, civilly? Let's make this year the year we try to move on." Vinny uneasily chuckles back to her. "You'd like that, wouldn't you? Just push your affair under a rug like it never happened. Never mind the fact that I'm the laughing stock of this town because I was the last one to know. I'd love for nothing more than to see you will suffer for what you've done to me. You can believe me when I say that." Daisy looks back at him and suddenly gets a chill up her spine. "I hope you don't mean that," she tells him. "Because, I meant it when I said I just want to put all of this behind us. I just want to move forward." "Good for you," Vinny sneers back to her. "I'll move forward when I've seen you suffer the way I have." Twin Peaks General Hospital Kim sits next to a comatose Bob praying that he will wake up. She doesn't know how much more she can take of her husband not waking up; she knows that she is hot water right now because the truth about the fire at the boutique has seemingly come out. The only thing preventing Simona from making an arrest is Bob's health crisis. "I don't know what to do," she whispers to him as she grabs his hand. "If you don't wake up, I'll be alone forever. But, as soon as you, they are going to ask you questions about the fire. I don't know how we can cover this up anymore. The truth, it is going to come out. And, if that happens, Bob, I'm going to go to jail for a very long time." She continues to look at Bob, hoping that he will give her some sort of sign that he can hear her. "I started that fire to get back at Dominick for his role in Blake's death. Looking back, it was such a foolish thing to do. The fact that we have covered it up for so long, my God Bob, I'm so scared as to what is going to happen when you wake up." She lets a tear fall from her cheek. "But, I will face those consequences if it means you will be okay. Do you hear me Bob? Whatever happens, happens. I just need you to come back to me. I can't go through this alone. So please, Bob, please wake up. Tell me everything will be fine," she whispers back to him as another tear falls down her cheek. "Please Bob, I'm begging you." *** Jacob paces back and forth in a waiting room of the hospital hoping to hear something about Bob's condition soon. He knows that he is supposed to meet Natasha at the hospital soon, but she hasn't arrived yet. He just hopes that his grandfather is okay; he just got back into Twin Peaks, the last thing he wants is for Bob to die with him getting a chance to get to know him again. "Jacob, hey," Max says as he walks into the waiting room. He looks at the younger man and passes him a coffee that he has in his hand. "I was just at the Sugarbowl and thought you could use some real coffee." "Hey, thanks," Jacob accepts it. "I appreciate that. The coffee here is terrible." "You're telling me," Max uneasily smiles back to him. "I'm glad that I caught you. I think we should have a talk, don't you?" "I'm not sure this is the best time," Jacob replies to him as he takes a sip of his coffee. "I'm sure you've heard about my Grandfather." "I have," Max nods back to him. "It has been in all the newspapers. And Helen, the woman who was in the other car in the accident, she died, she was my step mother." "Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that. It's all so tragic." "That it is," Max agrees with him. "But you know what else would be tragic? If my Mom gets hurt." Jacob looks back at him in surprise. "I have no intention of hurting your Mom, Max," Jacob tells him. "I know that it might be weird that we are the same age and I'm with her, but I can't explain who I fall in love with. All I know is that Cassie is the best thing that has happened to me." "I'm glad you feel that way," Max replies to him. "Just make sure you keep it that way. Otherwise, you will answer to me. And, I doubt you'd like that very much." *** "I thought you were going to Raven's Meadow to find out more about Barbara's passing?" Brooke asks her husband as she pours a cup of coffee in the cafeteria. She knows that she is at the hospital to check on Robbie to see how he is doing with Bob's condition; the last person she expected to run into was Greg. Greg takes a sip of his coffee and looks over at his wife. "I am on my way now," he replies to her. "I had to stop here to grab some paper work on Barbara first. She was a patient here years ago and I wanted to review the files to see if I could see anything that may help me put the pieces together of her death." "That makes sense," Brooke nods back to him. "You don't suspect foul play, do you?" "I have no idea," Greg admits to her. "What are you doing here? Or do I have to ask?" "What is that supposed to mean?" "Robbie is likely here to get an update on Bob," Greg reminds her, knowing that they have been closer lately. "Are you here to see him?" Brooke sighs heavily. "I'll take that as a yes," Greg says back to her. "Look, I'm going to trust you when you tell me that two of you are just friends. Don't make a fool out of me, Brooke. Or you will live to regret it. Just remember our pact of putting our family back together; after everything that has happened with Helen and the Calimo family lately, we agreed to put our family back together. I hope that remains." Brooke is about to say something back to him but he cuts her off. "I'll see you at home later. I have to get to Raven's Meadow." The Victors Mansion Vinny moves to the bar and pours himself a whiskey from the large decanter in the living room of his mansion. He can't believe Daisy has come over and asked him to forget everything that has happened. Of course, he thinks, it is easy for her to ask that since she wasn't the one who was made a fool of. "Damn you," he whispers to himself as he takes a sip of his drink. "You come in here acting all holier than though when really, you're the one who started this by sleeping with Tyler Richardson." He chuckles to himself as he realizes that he does have to think of something to get back at Daisy for everything she's done to him. "I will make you pay," he says to himself. "The question is, how? Like I said, I need to see you suffer, Daisy. I won't rest easily until I do." Before he can say anything else, he hears his cell phone start ringing. He walks over to the desk in the living room and picks it up. "Vinny Victors," he says into his phone. "What? Are you sure? Yes, I understand. Thank you for contacting me." He puts the phone down and arches his eyebrow. "So, my brother Brett is getting out of prison. I guess I should pay him a visit to make sure he knows not to fuck with me again because I'm in no mood to pay anymore. Especially not with Brett." The Pampa Grill Brooke walks into the restaurant and looks around. After having her encounter with Greg, she decided not to try to find Robbie at the hospital; the last thing she needs is for someone to see her and Robbie together and then report back to Greg. She knows that she has to be more careful with things like that. She is about to move to a table, however, when she sees Robbie at the bar drinking along. Against her better judgement, she moves towards the bar and clears her throat, causing Robbie to look back at her. "Brooke, hey," he smiles to her. "I was just thinking about you." "You were?" she asks him. "Funny, because I was thinking about you too." "Seems like we were on the same page," he winks back to her. "Care to join me?" "Yes," she admits to him. "But that's why I should decline." "I'm not sure I understand." "I just saw Greg," she tells him. "And he reminded me of our new agreement to put our family back together. I have to honor that; I owe it to my marriage and my children." "I get it," Robbie admits to her. "My family is in hell right now. The last thing I should be doing is adding to that drama." "Just know that I'm thinking of you from afar. And, I'm still supporting you, okay?" Robbie grabs her hand and squeezes it a little. "I know. Thank you. You have no idea how much your support means to me." "I think I do," Brooke purses her lips together. At the entry of the restaurant, Cory arches his eyebrow at the scene unfolding in front of him. "What are you doing with Brooke Lawson?" Cory whispers to himself. *** At a back table, Max takes a swig of his beer while Abby sits across from him with a glass of rose. After leaving the hospital, Max texted Abby to meet him at the restaurant. "Well, your text made it sound important, so I'm here," Abby purses her lips together. "What's up?" "It's about Paige and Andrew," Max looks over at her. "I think you have been right all along." "You mean that they don't belong together?" "Yea," Max nods back to her. "Paige deserves someone better. Someone " "Like you?" Abby giggles back to him. "I can get behind that. Because, I want Andrew for myself. You can have Paige and I can have Andrew." "But they are still together," Max reminds her. "Yes, for now they are," Abby looks back at him. "But, if we work together, we can break them up. I know we can." Max nods back to her. "Okay, I'm in," he replies to her. "I'll help you break them up." Abby giggles in delight. "Perfect! Cheers Max," she raises her glass. "Together we will get everything we want." Andrew's Condo "Has there been any change with Bob?" Andrew asks Paige as he sits next to her on the sofa in his condo. He knows how worried she has been about the man she believed was her grandfather for many years. "No," she admits to him. "But, thank you for asking. I just hope he manages to pull through." "I don't know Bob that well," Andrew admits to her. "But, what I do know about him is that he is strong. I do believe he will pull through." "Thank you for saying that," she says looking into his eyes. "How about we change the subject though?" "Sure," Andrew chuckles back to her. "What would you like to talk about?" Paige licks her lips a little before she leans up and kisses him on the lips. "To be honest," she purrs to him as their lips part. "I don't really want to talk at all." Andrew lifts her on to his lap. "You will definitely not get any complaints from me about where your mind is," he says before he kisses her again. "I want you so badly." "Then have me Andrew," she moans out to him. "We are so good together. Nothing will ever come between us." Twin Peaks General Hospital "Hey, any change?" Andy asks Kim, who steps out of Bob's hospital room with red eyes. He passes her a coffee from the Sugarbowl that he brought her. Kim takes the coffee and moves up to her brother and pulls him into a hug. "No," she tells him. "I don't know how much more of this I can take. I need my husband to wake up, Andy." "I know you do," he whispers back to her. "We have to stay strong, okay?" "It doesn't help that Simona, Dominick and Tyler are pressing for Bob to get arrested." "I know that I've asked you this before," Andy looks into her eyes. "But are you absolutely positive that there is nothing that you want to tell me about the fire?" Kim turns her back to Andy and shuts her eyes. Another tear falls down her cheek. "There's nothing to tell," she lies to him. "I just need everyone to back off until Bob is okay." Andy puts his hands on her shoulders. "Okay, if that's the case, then you have nothing to worry about. Simona will have to respect that Bob is fighting for his life." "Promise me Andy," Kim turns to her brother. "Promise me that no matter what you will stay by my side. I can't do this without you." "Of course," he pulls her into another hug. "I'm always here for you, Kim. You have to know that." *** "Damn it, I'm tired of waiting for something to happen," Dominick glares over at Tyler as they stand in a waiting room of the hospital. "The longer Bob and Kim get away with this, the worse it becomes." "I couldn't agree with you more," Tyler replies to him. "Mom spent the better part of a year in a mental hospital for no reason. And, she could have died. Look at what happened to Barbara Mills." Dominick waves his hand in the air. "Don't get me started on that," he tells him. " Felicia is still a mess because of that." "Then what is the hold up?" Tyler asks him. "Even if Bob is a coma, Simona Lopez should be able to issue a warrant for his arrest." Just then, Simona walks into the waiting room. "I'm glad you're both here. I have some news for you." "It better be that you're here to arrest Bob," Dominick stands up to greet her. "Tyler was just saying that even though Bob is in a coma, you could still issue a warrant for his arrest. Meaning, once he wakes up, he will go to jail." Simona uneasily looks back at him. "I know that's what you want," she tells him. "And, I'm doing everything I can." "That's obviously not enough!" Tyler replies to her. "This is getting worse and worse every moment!" "I just spoke to my boss," Simona informs them. "I've filed the arrest warrant, but they won't let me issue it until Bob is awake and passed his health scare." "That son of a bitch always wins!" Dominick growls. "He has to pay for what he has done!" "Don't worry, Mr. Robertson," Simona looks back at him. "I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure that happens." *** Bob lays unconscious in his hospital room. His monitors are beeping normally and there is no else in the room. It is completely silent. Bob stands over his own body and looks at himself in the hospital bed. "How did this happen?" the ghost version of Bob asks himself. "You gotta keep fighting. Your wife and family still need you." "Bob " a voice calls out causing the ghost to turn around. A bright light appears in the room and Bob gets tears in his eyes. "Sofia?" he asks in surprise as he sees his dead wife appear in the bright light. "Yes, darling, it's me," Sofia smiles back to Bob. "It's time, Bob. It's time." Bob shakes his head in confusion. "Time for what?" "Time for you to come join me," she reaches out to him. He looks at her hand which is reaching for his. "Come be with me like you've always wanted. Come on Bob, don't be scared. Come to heaven with me." Next
