on One Day at a Time Twin Peaks General Hospital "I'm really glad that you guys have realized that something is going on with Victoria," Shane stands up from behind his desk in his office at the hospital having just heard Eva and Donovan tell him that they want to go to the Calimo cabin with Victoria to get to the bottom of whatever is going on with her. He likes the idea of getting out of Twin Peaks so Victoria isn't able to run or hide from anything when they confront her. After everything that has happened lately with Barbara dying and Craig's illness, he is glad that they are taking this seriously. "We couldn't keep going on with this same old song and dance." "I still don't think it is her alter egos," Donovan folds his arms across his chest. "But, after seeing how angry Craig was, I realized that we do have to get to the truth, whatever that maybe. He has every right to be upset about his misdiagnosis, but we have to know if Victoria did this on purpose or not." "And, I don't want anyone else to get hurt," Eva echoes her sons statement. "If Victoria is somehow behind Barbara's death at Raven's Meadow and Craig's misdiagnosis, we have to help her. We can't let anyone else suffer." "I couldn't agree more," Shane nods back to them. "And, if you'd like, I'd be happy to join you at the cabin. We can almost treat it like an intervention." "I think that would be good," Donovan replies to him. "The more people we have telling Vic that this can't go on, the better." "Then it is settled," Shane tells him. "What is settled? What is going on in here?" Brandy asks as she moves into the office. She had received a text from Shane asking her to meet him in his office and now she can see that it appears to be some kind of a set up. "Darling, I'm glad you're here," Eva walks up to her. "Are you?" Brandy snaps at her. "Because this looks like something I'm not going to like. What is going on in here? I want to know what you three are up too." The Pampa Grill "Are you sure you only want a glass of wine?" Greg asks Brooke as they sit in the far back table together. He knows that after revealing to Brad the truth about how they obtained Cheresa all those years ago, his wife might want something a little stronger to drink. "I'm sure," Brooke purses her lips back together. "I'll save the brandy for when we get home." "How are you feeling about the conversation we had with our son?" Brooke sighs back to him. "Honestly, I'm not sure. I don't know how he found out about the blackmarket in the first place. Who told him and how will they react now that he knows the truth?" "He did give us his word that he wouldn't say anything," Greg replies to her. "We have to trust him. He is still our son!" "I know," she nods back to him. "But the fact of the matter is, he found out the truth from someone before he came to us. What if that person wants answers? I don't know Greg, I don't like this. Any of this." "We better hope that he does keep his mouth shut," Greg tells her as they lock eyes with one another. "Otherwise, you could go to jail for a very long time." MW Investigations "Well, how did it go with your parents?" Meggan asks Brad as she opens the door to her office and sees him sitting behind her desk. She has been dying to know how the conversation was like with Brooke and Greg; in her mind, the longer they go without telling Chris and Trenyce the truth, the worse the secret coming out could become. Brad sighs and stands up from the desk. He walks over to her and hugs her. "Are you okay?" she asks him, not sure to getting a large hug from him as soon as she sees him. "Talk to me, Brad." They exit their embrace and Brad looks into her eyes. He runs his hand over her cheek. "You know how much you mean to me, right?" Meggan slowly nods back to him. "Of course I do. You mean a lot to me too, Brad. Hey, what's going on? You're really upset by something. What did your parents say?" He leans in and kisses her passionately on the lips. She responds to him until they part. "Brad, you're scarring me." "Sorry," he runs his hand through his hair. "I just want you to know how much you mean to me, that's all." "I know that you care for me, Brad," Meggan replies to him. "Tell me what happened." "I can't," he finally tells her. "I can't tell you anything. I gave my word to my family, to my parents, that I wouldn't say anything. I have to keep my word." Meggan looks back at him in surprise. "I don't understand. We have to tell Chris and Trenyce the truth." Brad shakes his head back to her. "No, we can't. We can't tell them the truth, not without getting my parents in a hell of a lot of trouble and I can't do that. I won't do that." "So, what you're saying is that we can't tell Chris and Trenyce we found their child?" "That's exactly what I'm saying." The Claus House; Jeff, Leah & Paige's Home "It was very nice of you to invite me over this evening," Felicia sits on the sofa in the living room of Jeff and Leah's house holding a cup of tea in her hand. "I spent so much time in the hospital, I'm really cherishing every moment that I'm out." "We know that it hasn't been easy since you've been out of Raven's Meadow," Leah tells her mother. "Considering everything that happened with Barbara." "I still can't believe it," Felicia gasps as she thinks about her dear friend. "Barbara and I were friends while we were in Raven's Meadow. I still think something happened to her there. She was in danger! I just hope the truth comes out. Secrets always have a way of coming out." Leah gulps thinking about her own secret: the fact that she knows that Logan is really Jeff's son, not Brad's. She has been keeping the secret for some time now but she hates that she has to lie to Jeff; she only hopes that soon the guilt leaves her. "Leah, are you okay?" Jeff notes that his wife is looking a million miles away. "I'm fine," she waves her hand in the air. "Mom do you want another cup of tea?" "That would be lovely," Felicia replies to her. "You do seem like you got lost in train of thought, Leah. Are you sure you're okay?" Leah gulps as pours another cup of tea. "I'm fine," she repeats herself. "You and Jeff, you're sweet for caring." "Of course we care," Jeff tells his wife. "We love you, Leah." "And I love you," Leah looks back at him. "More than you'll ever know." Felicia watches the exchange and wonders what is going on with her daughter; she can tell that something is troubling Leah, but what could it be? The Black House; Dawn's Home "Hey kiddo, I was hoping we could talk for a few minutes," Adam calls out to Dawn from the living room as he sees his daughter walking down the stairs of the house with her jacket on. Adam wants to tell Dawn that he and Robin are going to get married; he just hopes that she understands. After everything that they have been through the last few months, he hopes that this will be some good news for his daughter. "Sure, we can talk," Dawn comes into the living room. "I was just on my way to meet Cheresa and Shelley." "That's nice that you're getting out," Adam replies to her. "I know it can be easy to not to say in the house all the time while we grieve." "I'm trying," Dawn shrugs back to him. "I still have good days and bad days." "I know, me too. But, I have news that might make you feel a little better." Dawn gulps recalling how she overheard Robin and Adam agree to get married. She still can't believe that Adam will get married so quickly after Helen and Barbara's deaths, but she knows that if she protests it will create more turmoil for the family, which is the last thing they need. "What's going on?" "Robin and I, we've decided to get married," Adam slowly tells her, worried about her reaction. "I know it may seem sudden but we are just trying to bring some happiness back into our worlds." "If this is what you want Dad, I won't stop you," Dawn tells him. "And you're right, some happiness is a good thing." "You're really okay with this?" Dawn shrugs her shoulders. "I don't want there to be any more pain in our lives," she feels her lower lip start to quiver. "So if this makes us start to put all this sadness behind us, then I'm all for it." The Sugarbowl Max taps his phone on the window bar as he waits for a text from Abby. He knows that she is going over to Andrew's tonight to try to seduce him. This is part of their plan to break up Andrew and Paige so he can be with Paige and Abby can be with Andrew. He just hopes that their plan works; he doesn't know what he will do if it doesn't. "Come on Abbs," he says to himself looking at his phone. "Text me already. The waiting is killing me." When he doesn't see a new message from Abby, he sets his phone down on the bar and runs his hand through his hair. "Is everything okay? You look worried about something," Paige says to Max as she walks up to him. "Paige, hey," Max uneasily smiles back to her. "Yea, everything is fine. I was just hoping to get an update from my Mom on Bob's status, but she hasn't got back to me yet." "Ah," Paige sits next to him. "I haven't heard anything lately either, if that helps. Sometimes I think no news is good news." Max chuckles back to her. "That's true," he replies to her. "Have you gone to see him? How are you holding up?" "I went to visit him the other day," Paige admits to him. "And, it was hard seeing him that way. The man I've thought of as my Grandfather is usually so full of life and so powerful. Seeing him just laying there and not moving " "Hey, we don't have to talk about this if you don't want too," Max tells her. "I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable." "You're sweet," Paige looks back at him. "But, it is good for me to talk about. Keeping things bottled up usually makes things worse." "In that case, tell me all your secrets," he grins back to her. "I'd be happy to listen to you talk about anything, and of course, it will always stay between us." Paige giggles and moves over to hug him. "You're such a good friend, Max." "Yea," he breathes in her scent deeply. "A good friend." Andrew's Apartment "Hang on, I'm coming," Andrew calls out as he walks to the door of his apartment, only wearing a towel around his waist as he came home and took a quick shower. He has no idea who could be at his door as he wasn't expecting anyone to come over, including Paige. He opens the door and sees Abby standing on the other side. Her eyes immediately look at his tone, slightly damp, chest. "Abby, hey, what's going on?" "I'm not interrupting, am I?" "Nah, I was just grabbing a quick shower," he tells her as she moves inside the apartment. "Are you okay?" "I don't know," she admits to him. "I really needed to talk to someone, and I ended up coming here." "Okay?" Andrew asks her back confused. "Let me go grab some clothes and then we can talk." "Thanks," she purses her lips together. Within a few minutes, Andrew is back wearing jeans and a t-shirt. "So, what's up?" "I don't know how to describe, I guess," she looks at him. "I just feel like I'm at a crossroads." Andrew arches his eyebrow. "In what way?" She shrugs her shoulders. "I feel like maybe I'm not doing enough with my life. Have you ever felt that way?" "Yea, sure," he replies to her. "Lately, I've been wondering about my future too." "Really?" "Like I should be doing more than I am or something." "That's exactly how I feel," she tells him as she moves closer to him. "We are on the same page." "Are you going to do something about this feeling you have?" "I was thinking maybe of going to school but then I'd have to study again," she grins at him. "That doesn't sound like fun, you know?" Andrew chuckles back to her. "But the challenge would be good for you, you know?" "You're right," she grabs his hand and squeezes it. "I think I'm going to enroll then." He looks down at their hands touching and gulps before they lock eyes with one another again. While he is with Paige, he can't help but feel an electricity between him and Abby, even though he has told her they are just friends. Twin Peaks General Hospital "Would someone answer me? What is going on?" Brandy asks Eva, Shane and Donovan again as she wonders what the three of them are doing together in Shane's office. "We are worried about you," Donovan tells his sister, who rolls her eyes again. "Not this bullshit again," she quips. "I've told you, all of you, that I'm fine! I'm getting so tired of having to defend myself to everyone!" "It's only because we care," Eva tells her daughter. "I think you owe to us, to all of us, to be truthful about what is really going on with you." "Fine, I can be honest." "Not here," Shane replies to her. "We want to meet at the Calimo cabin. All of us, just for a night so we can talk without any distractions." "I can be honest without going to the damn cabin," Brandy sneers, but she realizes that if she doesn't go, she will continue to have these clouds of doubt hanging over her. She has to go to settle this once and for all. "But, if you insist, I'd be happy to go. I have nothing to hide, so let's do this so we can finally put all of this garbage behind us." "Then it's settled," Donovan looks at his mother and then his sister. "We will go to the cabin to get to the truth." The Tower's; Floor Three; Shelley's Condo "So basically my Dad is going to get married to Robin soon and this wedding is supposed to bring happiness and joy into our lives," Dawn rolls her eyes as she tells Cheresa and Shelley of Adam's latest plans. "It does seem like he wants to move on with his life," Cheresa tells her. "That's not a bad thing, is it?" "No, it's just so soon after my Mom and Grandma," Dawn replies to her quickly. "I'm not trying to take sides in any of this," Shelley interjects. "But, I think Adam wanting to marry Robin does merit the fact that weddings tend to be happy occasions. This could actually do what he says it will do and make you and your family feel better." "I don't think so," Dawn shakes her head back to them. "I miss my Mom so much, I can't even explain it. And, if I'm honest, I always thought that my parents would end up together. I know that sounds silly, but they really did have a good marriage for the most part." "But, your Mom, she isn't coming back Dawn," Cheresa slowly tells her. "I don't mean to be harsh, but your Dad does still deserve some happiness." "He does," Dawn agrees with her. "I just wish it wasn't so soon. My Mom should be remembered longer!" Shelley moves over and puts her arm around Dawn. "No one will ever forget your Mom, you can be sure of that," she tells her. "Just remember that, okay? And try to be happy for you Dad." "I'll try," Dawn uneasily smiles back to her. The Cemetery Adam slowly walks up to Helen's tombstone and slowly kneels down in front of it. He reaches out and touches it with his hand before he sets down a bouquet of red roses. "Helen," he whispers to her. "God, this seems so surreal. I still can't believe that you, and your Mom, are gone. Yet, here I am talking to your tombstone." "You know," he continues. "Dawn is having a rough time with all of this, and I don't blame her. But, that is a big part of the reason that I am marrying Robin. I just want to try to put some of the pieces of our life back together. I hope you can understand that. God, Helen, a part of me will always love you. But I have to do this for Robin, for myself and for Dawn. I just hope you can understand that." Meanwhile, inside the coffin, Helen can hear Adam talking to her. She lets a tear fall down her cheek as she listens to Adam explain that he is going to marry Robin. "Adam, please!" she pounds her fists into the top of the coffin. "Help me get out of here! Help me Adam!" Outside, Adam slowly stands up, not hearing any of Helen's pleads. "I hope you'll watch over my wedding day," he tells her. "I'll be thinking about you and our wedding day, it would be impossible not to." He slowly walks again from the gravesite, having said his peace to his ex-wife. "No, Adam, please! Please don't leave me," Helen cries out for him. She stops crying when she doesn't hear his voice anymore. "He's gone," she whispers to himself. "He can't hear me." She suddenly starts to cough a little. She turns her head to the straw where her water is and moves her mouth closer to it, but she quickly gasps. "I'm out of water," she says as her heart sinks. "Brandy told me she was going to fill. Oh my God, I'm going to die in here! I'm really going to die!" Next
