The Pampa Grill

"I want a bottle of your finest champagne," Kim tells the waiter with a huge grin on her face as she sits across from Andy at a table in the restaurant. "And for my brother, he'll have a bottle of your finest sparkling cider."

"Kim, that really isn't necessary," Andy replies to her, knowing that she is on cloud nine right now because of what was revealed in Bob's will reading; Bob left Kim the Calimo estate, one third of his 75 million dollars and guaranteed her a job, for life, at Roboto. She has every reason to celebrate right now but he doesn't want her to overdo it.

"Of course it is!" Kim smiles back to him. "Bob ensured that I will have the future I deserve! I miss him so much, but the fact that he proved to everyone that he loved me; he showed Robbie and Natasha that I can't be erased; it is a great day."

"Robbie and Natasha were not happy that you were left the mansion," Andy tells her, thinking about how they lashed out at her before they left the reading of the will.

"I don't care," Kim shrugs her shoulders. "Those two brats will have to deal with it. What can they possibly do now? This was in Bob's will, leaving me our house was Bob's final wishes."

The waiter brings the two bottles to the table and pops the cork, causing Kim to laugh a little. "Well, cheers to you today, Kim," Andy picks up his glass of the non-alcoholic beverage. "It is nice to see you smile for change."

"Thank you," Kim looks back at him before she takes a sip of her drink. She quickly realizes that Andy looks a million miles away. She's been so busy dealing with Bob's passing and her new victory that she hasn't even realized that something must be going on with her brother. "Okay, what is it? What's going on?"

"What do you mean?" Andy asks her.

"I can see it all over your face," she sets her champagne glass down. "Something is troubling you. What is it? You can talk to me, Andy."

Andy sighs back to her knowing that he has been struggling with his attraction to Nicholas for some time now; the day of Bob's funeral, he and Nicholas shared yet another kiss, which they both regretted afterwards. Andy wishes that he and Nicholas would pursue this, but he realizes that Nicholas being with the church will prevent that from ever happening.

"You know me so well," Andy tries to put a smile on his face. "I can't get into it right now, but I am struggling with something."

"Oh Andy," Kim reaches over and grabs his hand. "You know that I'm here for you, right? Anything you need, let me know. You've been so supportive of me during this time with Bob and his children, I can make time for you."

"I know that," Andy nods back to her. "Once I figure this out, I'll let you know. It is just…complicated."

"I hate seeing you so conflicted."

"I hate being that way," he admits to her. "But I'm not sure anything will solve this. I just have…move on. That's just going to be the difficult part, because I don't really want too or know how too."

Roboto; Bob's Office

Robbie steps into his father's office and looks around immediately feeling overwhelmed with emotion as he knows Bob will never be coming back. He moves towards the desk and realizes that this is now his desk as he and Natasha were named co-CEO's of the company in Bob's will. He and Natasha are still livid that Kim was left the family mansion, though. He can't believe that Bob would do that; after everything Kim put Bob through, he and Natasha had hoped that she would be left with nothing. Instead the exact opposite happened; she got the house, a job and one third of his money. The thought makes me angry to his very core.

"I got your text and came as soon as I could," Brooke's voice announces as she walks into the office and closes the door behind her.

"Thanks for coming," he turns to face her, happy to see her. He knows that the last time they met they ended up in bed together, after they agreed to just be friends. "I didn't know who else to call."

"Don't worry about it," she sets her purse down on the desk and move up to him to hug him. "The last couple of days could have been easy on you, or your family."

"You have no idea," he looks into her eyes. "Seeing you at the church yesterday really helped."

"I'm glad I was there," Brooke tells him, as she thinks about how Cory confronted her about her affair with Robbie and she told him to keep his mouth shut. Of course, while she was at the church with Greg, she could feel Cory's eyes on her. She should tell Robbie that Cory knows that they were together recently, but considering everything that Robbie is going through right now, she realizes that it's probably not the best time. "Can I do anything else for you?"

"Just being here is great," Robbie admits to her. "Everything is such a mess right now. Ever since that night of Robin and Adam's engagement party, it feels like my family has been turned upside down and I don't know if we will ever be normal again."

"You won't be normal," Brooke says back to him. "You have to figure out what your new normal is. The normal of Bob being the head of the family will never come back."

Robbie gets tears in his eyes listening to her words. "Why does this have to be so hard?"

"Come here," Brooke pulls him into another hug. "Let it out Robbie, let it all out. You'll feel so much better once you do."

The Park

Cory slowly walks through the park and takes a deep breath of the arm; with spring in the air, he wanted to get some fresh air before he went home. He knows that Natasha is still irate about how things turned out at the reading of Bob's will; a part of him hopes that she has calmed down before he gets home. The last thing he wants to do is have another disagreement with her about the state of the family right now. In his mind, she and Robbie should be working with Kim to help heal over Bob's passing; instead, they are at each other's throats, which isn't solving anything. In fact, it is making things far worse.

On top of it all, he knows that Robbie is still sleeping with Brooke, which is the last thing the family needs. If Greg, or anyone, learned the truth, all hell would break loose and the family is already engulfed in flames.

"What am I going to do?" he asks himself as he continues to walk on the path. "I should talk to Robbie, I guess? I can't tell Nat the truth; she has enough on her plate with Bob's death, dealing with Kim and Jacob's engagement to Cassie."

Before he can have any more thoughts, he sees Greg walking towards him on the path, which he finds ironic considering what he was just thinking about. Cory braces himself for a potentially awkward encounter.

"Cory, hi," Greg says as he walks up to him. "Nice day for a stroll, hey?"

"Sure is. Seems like spring is finally here."

"Indeed, I was just heading to the Sugarbowl before heading back to the hospital. How are things? Natasha looked pretty upset yesterday the funeral."

"She's devastated," Cory admits to him. "Thanks for coming yesterday, by the way."

"Of course; Bob and I go way back. It is weird thinking of him as gone forever."

"Well the family appreciates your support. Today was another difficult day."

Greg arches his eyebrow. "What happened today?"

"They read Bob's will," Cory reveals to him. "Kim was left with the mansion, secured a life time job at Roboto and got a third of Bob's millions."

"Wow," Greg replies surprised. "Guess Bob really did love her, huh?"

"Seems that way," Cory nods back to him. "Look, I should get going. I should be with Natasha."

"Of course," Greg tells him. "If you need anything from me or my family, let me know."

Cory uneasily smiles back to him, still wondering how he would feel if he knew the truth about Robbie and Brooke's on-going affair. "Yea, thanks Greg."

The Pampa Grill

"I'm sorry that you and Donovan are still not getting along," Craig tells his friend as he picks up his beer and takes a sip of it. He just heard from Lukas that he and Donovan are still fighting over Victoria; Lukas still wants her to pay for everything she has done while Donovan doesn't seem to care, at least that's what Lukas believes.

"I mean, I get that she is his sister, but that doesn't mean that she shouldn't answer for what she has done," Lukas tells him. "So many people have been hurt and could have died. He can't just brush that off."

"I have been in agreeance with you," Craig admits to him. "But, having seen Victoria in the hospital and seeing her hospital records, I know that she's really sick. Victoria, herself, isn't responsible."

"How can you say that after what she did to you?"

"Because," Craig calmly replies to him. "When I first realized that Victoria misdiagnosed me I thought that it was Victoria. But it wasn't; it was her multiple personalities. That is a serious mental illness. There's a different, I guess."

"I still think she should be held responsible," Craig tells him. "But, I understand the situation."

"How do you do that?" Lukas asks him with a sly grin on his face. "This woman tells you have you have HIV when you don't and puts so many drugs in your body you were in the hospital for days … and yet you can be forgiving?"

Craig uneasily chuckles back to him. "I guess I'm just trying to see the big picture, that's all."

"Well, I really admire you for that Craig."

Craig blushes a little back to him. "You're kind Lukas, thanks."

"Did you want to go and say hi to Lukas?" Brad asks Meggan as they sit across from another at a table in far back corner of the restaurant. They are having dinner together and when Brad saw Meggan's brother walk in to the restaurant he realized that she may want to go say hi.

Meggan picks up her glass of wine and takes a sip of it. "No, I don't," she admits to him. "I want this night to be just between us. I need you to finally be honest with me, Brad. You have to tell me what is going on with your family. I'm not going to let you lie to me about this anymore."

"Lying to you?" Brad asks her back in surprise. "I'm not lying to you."

"But you're not telling me the truth either," Meggan replies to him quickly. "And, that has to end now. So, start talking. Or, I'm going to pick up the phone and call Chris and Trenyce right now to tell them the truth."

"Don't do that," Brad stops her from grabbing her phone. "But, I need your word that you won't say anything at all about what I'm going to tell you. It has to stay with us."

"Fine," Meggan nods back to him. "As long as I know what we are dealing with."

Brad picks up his glass of wine and takes a hearty sip of it before he starts to tell Meggan the story of how Brooke and Greg tried to have another child, but when she learned she couldn't conceive again, they tried to adopt. After not getting a child after a few rounds of the process, Brooke became desperate and bought a baby from the black market; that baby was Cheresa.

"I can't believe what I just heard," Meggan picks up her glass of wine. "So, it's true. Your mother bought Cheresa from the black market."

"That's why I've been holding off telling you," Brad replies to her. "If anyone learns the truth, my mother could be in serious legal trouble. Not to mention my Dad. I told you the truth Meggan, now you have to promise me that you won't say anything. You gave me your word, Meg."

Meggan sighs back to him wondering what she should do. If she doesn't say anything, she is just as guilty as everyone else. But she also realizes what it would mean if she did say something.

"You're not saying anything," Brad tells her. "What are you going to do with this information?"

***

"Have you heard from Dawn since she found her Mom is alive?" Abby asks her sister as they sit at the bar together enjoying a light dinner. Abby knows that Cheresa is close to Dawn and the news that Helen is alive and well must be shocking and a relief all at the same time.

"I have," Cheresa takes a bite of her tuna salad. "She's over the moon that Helen is alive. But, she hasn't woken up so she's still a little worried. What's up with you? Are you still thinking of going to school?"

Abby picks up her cocktail and takes a sip of it. "Yea, I am," Abby reveals to her, as she thinks about the fact that she originally came up with the idea to grow closer to Andrew, but since then she has been giving it a lot more thought. "It would be good for me to get an education, you know? And I can, like, still model on the side if I want too. But I don't think I should rely on that."

"Wow," Cheresa smiles back to her. "You've grown up so much."

"Thanks?" Abby laughs back to her. "By the way, did you hear that Andrew and Paige broke up?"

"Yea, I did. Andrew is pretty confused as to what happened."

"Oh yea?" Abby asks her, knowing exactly why they broke up. "Well, I'm not sure what happened, but since Andrew is free, there's no reason why I can't ask him out now."

"You are going to ask Andrew out?"

"Why not?" Abby asks her back. "He's single and free now."

"It's just still so new for him and Paige," Cheresa replies to her quickly. "You should give them a little time, maybe they will get back together?"

"Ugh yea, I guess so," Abby uneasily tells her. "I just want everyone to move on with everything."

Cheresa arches her eyebrow quickly recalling how she saw Max and Abby talking recently where she could see that Abby was saying 'we did it'. She has no idea what that means but he has a sinking feeling that it's not good. "I get that, just do me a favor and give him some space first, okay?"

***

"Thanks for coming to get food with me," Paige tells Max as they slowly walk up to the front door of the restaurant. Paige called her friend to see if he would join her for dinner because she didn't want to eat at home; she still hasn't really gotten over the fact that Felicia>, who has been spending more and more time with Leah & Jeff, would lash out at Bob's funeral the way she did. She just wants her family to treat the man she thought was her grandfather with some respect.

"Of course," Max looks at her as they pause for a moment. "You know that I'm always here for you."

"I'm beginning to realize that," she replies to him. "I still owe you for sitting with me at the funeral."

"Hey, that was me just being a friend."

"You've said that a few times now."

"It's because it's true," Max looks into her eyes and moves his hand to her cheek. "What you need Paige, I'm here for you."

"Thank you," she looks back into his eyes.

Max finds himself leaning in and kissing Paige on the lips. The kiss only lasts for a moment before they part ways.

"Come on, let's go get some food," she tells him as she kicks her lips.

They move inside, unaware that Andrew was just stepping out of his vehicle when he saw their kiss. Andrew feels this blood boil at what he just saw; the girl that he was he was falling in love with and then suddenly dumped him is already kissing another guy.

"Damn it," he whispers to himself. "I have to figure out what happened. I have too."

The Calimo Mansion

"Sorry I'm late," Cory announces as he moves into the living room of the mansion. "I went for a walk in the park to clear my head before coming home."

"It's fine," Natasha pours herself a drink from the bar. "I've just been thinking anyways since you've been gone."

"Thinking? Good things I hope?"

Natasha takes a drink of her scotch. "There is nothing good right now to think of," she tells her husband. "My father is dead; his wife killed him and inherited this house and my son is engaged to Cassie Nova. What good is coming from any of this?"

"The first step in all of this Nat," Cory moves up to her. "Is that we have to accept what has happened and try to deal with it. There's no use in trying to fight what can't be fought."

"What are you saying? You want me to give up?" She asks him in surprise. "I can't accept that Kim got this house! And I sure as hell can't accept that Jacob is marrying Cassie Nova!"

"Then you're going to push this family in to more drama, and that's unacceptable Natasha! We have been through enough! The time to heal is now."

"What do you want me to do?" Natasha asks him fed-up with his lack of support. "Give up?"

"No, I'm asking you to bury the hatchet for the sake of this family."

"I can't do that," Natasha replies to him. "Kim and Cassie…if they want a war, they'll have one."
