St. Joseph's Church

"What the hell is going on in here?" Melissa shrieks as she, Phil and Arch Bishop Murray walk into the office at the back of the St. Joseph's and they see Andy on top of Nicholas as they are having sex with one another. They had come to the office to find Nicholas so the Bishop could apologize to Nicholas for his rude behavior; Melissa has made him realize that he was out of control and shouldn't be so critical of Nicholas' efforts with the restoration. Now, they are seeing him engaging in sex with another man. None of them can believe what is happening.

Andy immediately crawls off of Nicholas' lap and grabs his pants. Nicholas covers himself with a blanket and immediately feels embarrassed by what is happening. "What are you guys doing in here?" Nicholas finally asks him as Andy passes him his pants.

"We…we came to apologize to you," Melissa manages to tell her son. "I convinced the Bishop that he was being too difficult on you."

"What are you doing Nicholas, what is this?" Phil asks his son. "We knew that you were gay as you had a previous partner, but we thought you had dedicated yourself to the church."

"I had…" Nicholas stands up as he looks at his parents at the bishop, now with his pants on. "But after the Bishop told me I wasn't a good leader, I believed my career at the church was over."

"So you started to engaged with sex with this man?" the Bishop's face is bright red as he looks at Nicholas with intent. "You think you have no future so you sleep with the first man you see?"

"It wasn't like that," Andy chimes in. "You have to believe us…"

"If it wasn't like that, then, what? This has been going on for months?" The Bishop asks him, still unable to believe what he is seeing. It is not just that Nicholas is having sex but he is having sex with another man. "You've been betraying your vows?"

"No!" Nicholas pleads with him. "You have to understand …"

"I understand perfectly clear," Bishop Murray replies to him sternly. "You are out of this church, do you understand me Nicholas? You serves are no longer needed. You are a complete disgrace to this church and everything is stands for! You are denounced!"

Twin Peaks Executive Hotel

"Well, this has been an entertaining evening," Cassie says as she wears only a red silk robe and pours two glasses of wine in the hotel room that she is sharing with Jacob. She can't help but think about how they were at the Pampa Grill when Shane approached their table and Jacob defended Cassie and their relationship to his father. Cassie has never had a man stand up for her so much the way Jacob does. It really makes her believe that they are good match for one another.

"I guess it has," Jacob comes out of the washroom only in some grey sweat pants. "I'm not sure the gala at the church was really my scene."

"Too quiet for you?" Cassie purses her lips together and passes him a glass of wine.

"I mean, how much fun can an event at a church actually be?" Jacob chuckles back to her. "It was still nice to get out and spend the evening with you."

"I couldn't agree more," Cassie comes up to him. "I still can't believe how you defended me to your father at the restaurant earlier. It means so much to me, Jacob."

"It is because I love you," Jacob moves closer to her. "I will defend you today, tomorrow and always."

Cassie leans in and kisses him passionately on the lips. "I don't think I want this wine," she pulls away from him. "I think I want you instead."

"Good," Jacob smiles back to her. "Cause I've been waiting to get you alone."

Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill, The Grove, LA

Vinny opens the door to the restaurant in LA and moves inside. He waits for the hostess to arrive but he sees Brett sitting at one of the tables near the window, where the sunset is shining through. Vinny uneasily looks at his twin before he slowly starts to make his way to the table as he knows that he came to LA to see Brett because he believed he could use his twin brother in a way to get back at Tyler and Daisy for their affair. Now that he is here, however, he is still second guessing everything that he is doing. But, it is far too late to cancel on meeting Brett.

"Brett," Vinny arrives at his desk while Brett sets down his glass of sake. "Thank you for taking the time to see me."

"Of course," Brett lets his brother sit across from him. "I have to admit Vinny, I was surprised to get the text from you saying you were going to be in LA and that you wanted to meet up."

"Yea, I can imagine."

"Why the change of heart? When we last saw one another in Twin Peaks you made it pretty clear you wanted nothing to do with me."

Vinny uneasily shrugs back to him knowing very well he is going to lie back to his brother. "I had a long conversation with Andrew, our nephew. He made me realize that we only get one family and we shouldn't throw that away. I'm not saying all is forgiven, Brett, but I'd like to at least make an effort."

"I'd like that," Brett smiles back to him. "So, what brings you to LA?"

"Honestly? I needed a break from life in Twin Peaks. My divorce to Daisy hasn't exactly been easy," Vinny admits to him. "I thought a couple days in the sun would be ideal. And after my talk with Andrew, I realized that I would also get to see you. It seemed like a no brainer."

"Well, I appreciate the gesture," Brett replies to him. "If you ever want to talk about, your divorce I mean, I'm only a phone call away."

"Thanks," Vinny forces a smile on his face. "What have you been up too out here? Are you working?"

"I am yea," Brett says back to him. "I started sketching a little in jail and I got hired at a small, local design shop out here."

"Design? What type of designs?"

"They make t-shirts, scarfs, toques, stuff like that."

"Interesting, good for you, Brett."

"Thanks Vinny," Brett smiles back to him. "See, we can get along when we try. This has been nice."

"It has," Vinny admits to him. "It really has."

The Claus House; Leah, Jeff & Paige's Home

"So, Jeff is talking with Paige now?" Felicia asks Leah as she sits on the sofa with a cup of tea in her hand. Felicia was just informed by Leah that Jeff is talking to Paige about her potential relationship with Max to see where they stand. Both Leah and Jeff have become concerned since Robin told them not to trust Max and they saw Max kissing their daughter.

"Yea, we thought it would be best if just one of us spoke to Paige so it didn't come across like we are ganging up on her," Leah replies to her mother.

"That makes sense," Felicia tells her daughter. "Plus, it gives us a time to chat alone."

Leah turns to her mom and looks back at her in confusion. "Is there something in particular you want to chat about that requires us to be alone?"

Felicia shrugs her shoulders back to her. "I know you said it was nothing the other day when we spoke, but Leah, I can't help but think that you're still holding something inside of you that you're not sharing. I just want to tell you, again, that I'm here if you need anything, anything at all."

Leah sighs and turns away from her mother, still hating the fact that she has to lie to everyone around her that she knows the truth about baby Logan: Jeff is really his father, not Brad. Still, she knows that she can't say anything or she will risk her entire world as she knows it.

"Mom," Leah bites her lower lip. "I really need you to drop this, okay? For the last time, I am not keeping anything from you, Paige or especially Jeff. Now, never mention this again, okay?"

Felicia uneasily nods back to her, thinking more than ever before that Leah is hiding something. The question, what is she hiding?

***

Upstairs in Paige's room, Jeff is sitting on her desk chair while Paige is on her bed. After she left Max at the coffeehouse, Paige knew that her parents were going to have this discussion with her as Robin spoke to Max about their budding relationship. Paige will tell her father the same thing that Max told Robin: that she and Max are just friends and are enjoying each other's company.

"So, you have to imagine your mother's and mine's surprise when we saw you and Max kissing in the church," Jeff tells his daughter who sighs back to him. "Look, Paige, we know you are a young woman now, but we will never stop being concerned about you."

"I'm not sure why Max's presence in my life is cause for concern," Paige admits to him. "He's been in my life for some time now. These concerns weren't around before?"

"It changes when your relationship moves from a true friendship into a relationship," Jeff tells her. "Again, we just want to make sure that you're not going to get hurt."

"I've already been hurt Dad," Paige replies to him, thinking about how she caught Andrew kissing Abby. The fact that he was cheating on her has caused her to have many sleepless nights thinking about what she did wrong. "My last boyfriend did that to me. Max and I, we are friends who are enjoying each other's company. We are just seeing where things go. No expectations. Surely, that isn't wrong?"

"Of course not," Jeff smiles to her. "Just promise me that you'll be careful, okay?"

The Richardson Estate; Meggan & Lukas' Home

"This was really nice," a sweaty Donovan tells Lukas as they lay next to one another in Lukas' large king size bed fresh from making love to one another. Donovan knows that they haven't been this close in a long time, mostly due to the tension between them that was caused by Victoria and everything her alter ego, Brandy, did to so many people that they care about, especially Craig. For them to reconnect in this way was long overdue.

"It is nice to be like this again," Lukas admits to his lover. "It had been far too long."

"It had been," Donovan agrees. "I'm just glad that after everything that went down with Victoria we were able to weather the storm and come out the other side. It makes me think that we are strong together."

"That's because we are strong together," Lukas leans up and looks at him. "I think we've proven that, don't you?"

"Yea, we definitely have," Donovan licks his lips and leans in and kisses him. "I love you Lukas. I really do."

"I know babe," Lukas smiles back to him. "I love you too."

Twin Peaks General Hospital

Shane opens Victoria's file and quickly scans it as he stands outside her hospital room. He hasn't visited Victoria since he, Donovan and Eva convinced her to go away to get some help to deal with her multiple personalities, which was a relief because it was proof that Victoria was back in control; if Brandy was still in control, she would have never have agreed to get help because she would have wanted to stay in control. Shane doesn't see anything out of ordinary in her file, so he drops it back in the slot and opens the door.

"Good evening," he says as he moves into the hospital room. "How are you feeling?"

Victoria looks back at Shane and gets a grin on her face. "I am feeling so much better," she replies to him. "I'm hoping that I'll be able to get out of here soon? What do you think?"

"Well, I'm not your acting physician so I can't say for sure when you will leave," he moves closer to her. "But, you realize as soon as you leave here, you'd have to go to a mental facility right? To treat the multiple personalities? You agreed to this with your mother, remember?"

Victoria uneasily smiles back to him. "Of course I remember," she tells him. "I was just hoping that because I am doing so well that I wouldn't have to go away. You know, I am doing so much better."

"We know that," Shane replies to her. "But we still have to ensure that Brandy, or any other alters, ever come back. You understand?"

"I wish I didn't," she rolls her eyes. "I wish my word was enough to prove that I don't need to go way."

"Brandy? Is that you? Are you back?" Shane asks the woman in front of him, wondering if Brandy is back because now Victoria is objecting wanting to go away to get help. He and Eva realized that if Brandy was ever in control she wouldn't want to go away to get help so she could stay in control; this is what is happening now, so Shane has reason to believe that Brandy is back.

Brandy uneasily smiles back to him. "You're not as dumb as you look doc," Brandy sneers at him. "Victoria has been fighting me for control, more than usual. Guess she does want to go away for help."

"She will fight you," Shane moves closer to her. "Mark my words, Brandy, Victoria will get through this. I will see to that."

The Black House; Adam, Helen & Dawn's Home

Eva slowly moves up to the front door of the Black house and takes a deep breath. She recalls how she was at the St. Joseph's gala when Adam arrived and told her, Shane and Donovan that Helen wants to press charges against Victoria; Eva knows that Brandy did so many cruel things, including burying Helen alive, but she really hopes that she can convince Helen to not press any charges. The last thing that Victoria needs is to go to jail instead of getting help for her illness.

She is about to knock when she second guesses herself. "No, you have to do this," she whispers as she turns and knocks on the door.

"Eva, what a surprise," Helen says as she opens the door. "Please, come in."

"Thank you," Eva purses her lips together and moves into the living room, where she sees Adam standing.

"Eva, what brings you by? Or do I have to ask?" Adam asks her, as Helen reappears in the living room.

"I wanted to talk to you, both of you," Eva turns to face Helen. "I saw Adam earlier, and I can't tell you how happy I am that you're out of the hospital and getting your life back together."

Helen uneasily smiles back to her. "Thanks. It is good to be back."

"I am going to cut to the chase," Eva replies to her. "Adam told me that you spoke to Detective Lopez about filing charges against my daughter for what she, or her alter, did to you."

"That's right," Helen nods back to her. "I have spoken to Simona and she is looking into the charges that can be filed. I don't think you, or anyone, has any idea what being in that coffin was like. It shouldn't go unpunished. Not in the least."

"And, I'm not suggesting that," Eva tells her quickly. "But, you see, the reason I'm here is because I'm begging you to not press charges. And, I have a very good reason why."

"I'm listening," Helen tells her, hoping that Eva isn't wasting her time.

"If you press charges and Victoria is found guilty, which we all know she would be," Eva pleads with her. "That means she will go to jail, likely for a very long time."

"Yes, that's exactly the point," Helen rolls her eyes back to her. "She buried me alive! She should go to jail."

"But you see," Eva continues as she gets water in her eyes. "If she goes to jail, she wouldn't get the help she needs Helen. This Brandy woman, she could stay in control of my daughter forever. Don't you understand? Victoria has to go away and get help. She needs to get healthy, otherwise we risk losing her forever. You surely don't want that on your head, do you?"

St. Joseph's Church

"Arch Bishop Murray, wait please," Melissa calls out as she rushes out of the office and towards the older man, who has left. Melissa is hoping to smooth things over with him and reinstate Nicholas in his job.

"Well son, I wish I could say that I didn't see this coming, but…" Phil looks at Nicholas, who looks gutted.

"What have I done?" Nicholas asks himself as he looks back at Andy. "He was going to apologize…he wanted me to work here…and I…"

"You had no idea Nicholas," Andy replies to him. "We had no idea what was going to happen."

"What is going to happen to me?" Nicholas looks back at him as a tear falls down his face.

Melissa suddenly reappears. "You!" Melissa shouts at Andy. "You get the hell away from my son! This is all your fault!"

"What did the Bishop say?" Phil asks Melissa, curious to know if she was able to get him to change his mind.

"He said that Nicholas is a complete disgrace to the church and that he will never come back to St. Joseph's," Melissa replies to everyone before she returns her attention to Andy. "Are you happy? You've just ruined my son's life, you son of a bitch!"
