Twin Peaks Courthouse Judge Franklin Ross looks into his
office where on one side of the room Robbie and Natasha are seated with Lois Kam
and on the other side of the room Kim is next to Josh Levitt as they continue
to contest Bob's will. So far, the Judge has heard testimony from Kim where she
has mentioned both of her step children's sorted past. The Judge realizes that
Robbie and Natasha will likely return the favor now. He wishes this trial wasn't
turning so ugly but it is too late for that. Kim quickly looks at her
cell phone and types a message to Greg. "About to racked over the coals by
the wicked step children. Wish me luck." She then puts her phone away and
looks over at Josh, who tries to nod back to her to give her reassurance. She
braces herself for what is about to happen, she just hopes that the Judge doesn't
see her in a different light after the testimony. "You'll be fine,"
he whispers to her. "Just stay calm, okay?" "Thanks, I
just want this part over." "Ms. Kam," the Judge finally
speaks to everyone in the room. "You may start questioning your clients.
I would like to remind you both, Mr. and Ms. Calimo, that you're under oath."
"Of course," Natasha nods back to him. "My brother and I,
we have nothing to hide your honor." Lois stands up and looks over
at Robbie and Natasha. "First of all, I'd like to send my deepest condolences
to you both on the loss of your father." "Thank you,"
Robbie replies to her. "We appreciate that." "We've heard
from your stepmother, Kim, about your past misdeeds," Lois explains to them.
"It's your turn to share your side of things. You both must have very strong
reasons as to why you are contesting your father's will; do you want to explain
to the Judge why you feel Kim isn't deserving of the family estate?"
"I don't know where we would begin," Robbie shakes his head back
to her as he thinks about all of the horrible things that Kim has done to their
family. "I think it started with how and when my father and Kim
got into a relationship," Natasha replies to her. "You see, our mother,
Sofia, was killed in an explosion. My father was distraught and alone. Kim comforted
him and, only a few months after Sofia passed away, they were in a relationship."
"It was very fast," Robbie agrees with his sister. "She didn't
even let my father grieve properly. Then, within a few months, she was sleeping
with the pool boy behind our Dad's back." "We discovered the
affair because she ended up pregnant," Natasha continues to tell the court.
"Only, my father had a vasectomy, so the child couldn't have been his. We
all discovered that it was Tyler Robertson's, who is the son of our father's rival."
"The truth about Kim's child caused our father to suffer a stroke,"
Robbie tells everyone. "Kim's affair almost cost our father his life!"
"It doesn't stop there," Natasha says to Lois. "A few years
later, my father was working on a new facial cream for his company, Roboto."
"At the same time, Robertson Enterprises was also working on a similar
product," Robbie tells Lois. "Kim and Bob had a fight and she sent Tyler
the formula for the facial cream. Robertson ended up using Roboto's facial cream
formula and it cost my father millions of dollars!" "It
doesn't end there," Robbie continues to look at Lois and then Judge Ross.
"We have very good reason to believe that she was cheating on our father
again. We suspect that our father left the night of his car accident because he
learned about her new affair." "We also suspect that Kim, not
our father, started the fire at the Robertson boutique. It's far too convenient
that Bob woke up and 'confessed' to only Kim," Natasha sneers.
"Objection!" Josh stands up in protest. "There is no evidence that
my client started any fire. Ms. Calimo is slandering her step mother and it must
stop!" "Watch what you say going forward," The Judge agrees
with Josh. Natasha rolls her eyes. "The fact that she was helping
my father brainwash Felicia into believing she started the fire is just as a bad!"
Natasha continues to say. "Okay," the Judge waves his hand
in the air. "I've heard enough. Thank you Ms. Kam," he tells her. "I'm
going to recess while I'll deliberate." The Judge stands up and
walks out of the room. Lois smiles at Robbie and Natasha while Kim sits in silence,
rattled by everything they said about her. No amount of words of wisdom from Josh
could have prepared her for that. "Hey, are you okay?" Josh
asks her as she sits still She shakes her head back to him. "No,
I'm not okay," she manages to say back to him. "If you'll excuse me,
I'm going to go get some fresh air." Kim stands up and quickly rushes
out of the court room. Cory looks at her and then looks over at Natasha, wondering
if there's any way this could be solved without having to get so ugly.
The Pampa Grill "Thanks for meeting me," Eva tells Shane
as they sit across from each other at a table in the restaurant. "Of
course," Shane takes a sip of his beer. "I was surprised to hear from
you; I thought you would have been at the courthouse supporting Natasha today."
Eva sighs heavily back to him thinking about how her daughter is contesting
Bob's will today. "I asked her about going but she said it wasn't necessary.
I don't think she wanted the entire family to witness how ugly things were going
to get." "I had a similar thought," Shane admits to her.
"Jacob wasn't invited to attend either." "I just hope
that whatever happens today, it settles everything once and for all. We all just
need to put Bob's passing behind us so we can try to move on with our lives. Anyways,
the reason I wanted to see you has to do with Victoria." Shane nods
back to her wondering if Eva has heard from Victoria since she arrived at the
hospital in Pittsburgh that specializes in multiple personality disorders. "What
has happened now?" "Nothing bad," Eva replies to him quickly.
"I just heard that she has arrived and her treatment has started. I wanted
to let you know." "Thanks," he nods back to her. "I
just hope that she does get better." "You and I both,"
Eva uneasily nods back to him. "You and I both." The Sugarbowl
"I really can't believe that you moved out of your parent's house,"
Dawn tells Paige as they sit across from one another in the back booth of the
coffeehouse. Paige just finished telling Dawn and Cheresa that she left her parent's
house because they refused to allow her to see Max, whom she has started dating.
Paige refuses to let her parents dictate whom she can and can't see, so she left
after Robbie agreed to let her move into the guest house on the Calimo property.
"Yea, that is a big step," Cheresa echoes Dawn's statement to her
friend. "I just couldn't take it," Paige admits to them. "I
mean, who are they to tell me who I can and can't see? I don't even get why they
are so opposed to me dating Max, it's like it came out of nowhere."
"It sucks when your parents don't like who you are seeing," Cheresa
replies to her quickly. "Did they feel this way when you were dating Andrew?"
"No, that's what's weird," Paige tells them. "I don't know
what Max ever did to them but it's so random and not cool." "So,
when did you and Max become official?" Dawn asks her friend. "Last I
heard you two were just friends." Paige chuckles back to her. "Just
the other day," she admits to her friends. "I don't know, maybe it's
soon since Andrew but Max has really helped me in a lot of ways to get over everything
that happened." "We are happy for you," Cheresa smiles
as she happens to look over her shoulder and sees Andrew walk into the coffeehouse.
"Speaking of which
" Paige turns around and sees Andrew
standing there. She turns back to her friends and sighs a little. "Do you
guys mind if I go talk to him for a minute? I'd rather have him hear from me that
I'm dating Max then from someone else." "Of course, good luck,"
Dawn tells her friend back. Paige scoots out of the booth and quickly
walks over to Andrew, who is grabbing his coffee from the barista. "Hey Andrew,
do you have a minute?" "Uh, just a minute," he replies
to her quickly. "I have to get to class." "Okay,"
Paige nervously tells him. "I have some news that I wanted you to hear from
me." Andrew puts a lid on his coffee and looks back at her. "What's
up? Are you finally going to tell me why you dumped me?" Paige uneasily
chuckles back to him. "I wanted you to know that I'm dating Max now. We became
official recently." Andrew feels the blood drain from his face.
He still has no idea why Paige ended their relationship; from his stand point,
things were going really well. Then, out of nowhere, she ended things with him.
Now, she's already moving on with Max? Andrew can't help but wonder if she was
seeing Max the entire time they were together. Now, more than ever before, he
is glad to be at school, which has many attractive looking girls at it, including
his world history teacher, Albertinah, whom he hasn't been able to stop thinking
about. "You're not saying anything," Paige finally says something
else breaking the awkward silence between them. "What do you want
me to say?" Andrew asks her. "You dump me without warning and now a
few weeks later you're hooking up with Max? It's fucking weird, but whatever.
You do whatever you want that makes you happy Paige. Now, if you don't mind, I
have to get to school." Instead of trying to explain to Andrew,
Paige lets him walk away. She sighs realizing that the conversation as never going
to go that well. Still, she hates that she has hurt him. Suddenly, she feels her
phone vibrate in her pocket. She pulls it out and sees the incoming text from
her father. "Oh my God," she whispers in shock as she reads
the message. "You've got to be kidding me!" Bruno's Gym
Max steps off the treadmill and grabs his water bottle and his towel. He
immediately takes a swig of water before he wipes his sweaty forehead down. He
takes another drink of water while he tries to calm his racing heart rate down.
He looks over and sees Jacob lifting some weights. He hasn't seen much of his
mother's fiancé, which is still weird for him to say, lately so he finds
himself walking over to him. "Jacob, hey," Max says as he arrives
at the weight bench. "It's been awhile. How are you?" "Hi
Max," Jacob puts the weights in down and leans up to face him. "My family
is having a stressful time, so I came here to blow off some steam."
"My Mom told me about Natasha contesting your grandfather's will," Max
admits to him. "I hope everything works itself out." "Me
too," Jacob replies to him. "It'd be nice to have some grieving time,
you know?" "I'm sorry for your loss, by the way."
"Thanks man, I appreciate that. I know you were put off when it was
revealed that I was engaged to your Mom, but I'd like to think we could be friends?"
"I'd like that a lot," Max admits to him. "Cool,"
Jacob smiles back to him. "So, who are you dating? You know who my woman
is." Max chuckles back to him. "Paige Claus," he reveals
to her. "She's amazing and she's all mine. I can't tell you how lucky I am."
"That's awesome," Jacob tells him. "Make sure you don't do
anything to upset her. Keep her happy and you will always have her."
"Don't worry," Max nods back to him. "I'll never do anything
that will hurt Paige." The Claus House; Leah & Jeff's Home
"Are you sure that was the right thing to do?" Leah paces back
and forth in the living room of her house that she shares with Jeff. After Paige
left earlier, Leah and Jeff started racking their brains about what they could
do to make Paige realize that she was overreacting by moving out of the house;
all they wanted to do was make her realize that Max isn't the best guy for her
to have in her life. Instead, she moved out of the house. "I don't
know what else we can do?" Jeff replies to her quickly. "We had to take
action to let her know that we mean business." Leah uneasily nods
back to him. "But, we basically told her she was cut off from her trust fund
until she's back under our roof." "Exactly," Jeff tells
her. "If she wants to move out and live like an adult, then she can find
out what it's like to manage money without her trust fund." "I
hope we did the right thing," Leah admits to him. "I'm worried that
this will push her further away." Jeff comes up to her and pulls
Leah into a hug. "We have to be in this together. We have to be united,"
Jeff whispers into her ear. "Sometimes tough love is the way to go."
Leah nods back to him as she bites her lower lip. "I guess you're right,"
she tells her husband. "I just hate fighting with Paige; it is the worst
feeling in the world." "She will come around," Jeff replies
to her. "She will realize that we are right and she will come home and everything
will be fine again." "I'm praying for that," Leah tells
him. The Richardson Estate; Meggan & Lukas' Home
Donovan sits at the dining room table of the lavish Richardson estate still waiting
for Lukas< to get home. He looks at the candles burning in front of him and realizes
that they have burnt about half way down the candle stick already; he has no idea
where Lukas is, but his special night is slowly going to waste. He had hoped to
have a romantic meal with his boyfriend and then propose to him. He takes
a sip of the red wine in front of him and then quickly puts the glass down when
he hears the front door open. He moves out of the dining room and into the foyer
of the mansion. "Lukas, you're home," Donovan gets a smile
on his face. "I've been waiting here for you." "Did we
have plans tonight?" Lukas asks him as he puts his jacket in the closet.
"I would have come home a lot sooner I had known." "Its
fine, I wanted to surprise you," Donovan admits to him as he moves up and
pulls him into a hug. As they hug, Lukas can't help but think about how
he and Craig almost kissed when he was at the hospital earlier in the day. "Well,
thanks. I do like surprises." "Come into the dining room,"
Donovan grabs his hand and walks with him. "I had the chef make all your
favorites. I hope you're hungry." "I am famished, this is so
sweet of you," Lukas looks around in awe at the romantic setting that Donovan
has arranged. "I'm so sorry that it took me so long to get home."
"You're here now," Donovan looks into his eyes. "That's all
that matters; we have to take each moment as they come, that's what I want to
do with you now, and forever." Lukas smiles back to him. "You're
in a loving mood tonight. What has gotten into you?" "I love
you Lukas," Donovan replies to him. "Can't I be in love?"
"Of course you can," Lukas says back to him. "I love you too, for
what it's worth." Donovan slowly falls down to one knee and pulls
a ring box out of his pocket. "Lukas, we have been through a lot this year
and we've come out the other side stronger than ever before. I can't express to
you how much you mean to me
will you be my partner in life? Will you marry
me?" Lukas is shocked at the sight in front of him. Donovan is kneeling
on one knee with a ring in front of him. Suddenly, Lukas shuts his eyes and recalls
looking into Craig's eyes at the hospital right before they almost kissed. Lukas
opens his eyes and looks at Donovan. "I'm sorry," he tells
his boyfriend. "I can't marry you, Donovan." Donovan feels
his heart sink as Lukas rushes out of the room. Donovan stands up just as he hears
the front door slam behind Lukas, who left. Donovan picks up his glass of wine
and takes a big sip of it, wondering if he just made the biggest mistake of his
life. Twin Peaks Courthouse Outside the Judge's office,
Lois, Robbie and Natasha stand huddled together discussing everything that just
happened. Lois is very pleased with the testimony that Robbie and Natasha provided
as they rehashed all of the sorted deeds from Kim's past. Cory slowly
opens the door from the Judge's office and walks out. He looks over and sees his
wife and can't help but feel disgusted. He realizes that she and Robbie are mourning
the loss of their father, but in his eyes, their treatment towards Kim is appalling.
Instead of coming together, they are dividing the family further apart.
"I hope you three are pleased with yourselves," Cory announces as he
interrupts their conversation. "Kim ran out of that room so fast; she's devastated
by what you said." "You didn't hear what she said about us,"
Robbie replies to him. "She was just as ruthless." "You
guys don't get it," Cory snaps back at them. "None of this would be
happening if you didn't contest the will! This family is being torn apart and
it's all on you!" "Cory
" "Save it
Natasha," Cory cuts his wife off from saying anything. "You're the last
person I want to hear from right now." Cory storms off leaving Robbie
and Natasha looking at one another in shock. They knew that Cory was upset with
what was happening, but his attitude is not what they were expecting.
*** Outside, Kim rushes down the stairs of the courthouse. She
is reeling from the testimony of her step children; she can't believe how cold
and cruel they were. She knew that it was going to happen but it still didn't
prepare her for the actual words that they spoke about her. They really hate her,
she realizes. "Kim, hey slow down," Greg rushes up to her as
he sees her rushing away from the building. "What are you doing
here?" Kim asks him as she stops and looks at her friend. "After
I got your text, I came right now. I thought you'd need a friend."
"My God, you have no idea," Kim replies to him. "They were so cruel.
I
I feel so alone." "You're not alone," Greg tells
her as he looks into her eyes. "I'm right here, Kim." Kim looks
back into his eyes and then leans up and kisses him passionately on the lips.
Greg wraps his arms around as he pulls her deeper into the kiss. Next
