The Sugarbowl

The sun is shining brightly through the windows of the coffeehouse as a new day is on the dawn in Twin Peaks. Paige and Max sit across from one another at the back booth enjoying a light breakfast together. They are enjoying the morning after the first night that they told each other that they love one another. They ended up going back to the guest house on the Calimo mansion grounds and making love for most of the night. After breakfast, they have every intention of going back to the hospital to get an update on Cheresa and Dawn.

"Last night was fantastic," Max smiles over to her. "I don't know how I got so lucky to have landed you."

Paige blushes a little before she takes a sip of her coffee. "I am the lucky one," she tells him. "We are good together, Max. I really like where this is headed."

"Yea me too."

"Especially because, like I said last night, we have no secrets and my parents are finally on board with us," Paige smiles back to him. "We can finally just be."

Paige notices Max's attention waiver as he looks over her shoulder. Paige turns her head to face the entrance way of the coffeehouse and sees Jacob walking in and moving into the lineup. Paige immediately turns back to look at her lover.

"Max, what are you thinking?" she asks him, knowing that Max hasn't been happy with Jacob since he exposed his plan to use Cassie to get back at Natasha. She doesn't blame her boyfriend since Cassie is his mother but she hopes that Max isn't going to do anything to make the situation worse.

"I'll be right back," Max grits his teeth and gets up from the booth, leaving Paige about to stop him but she realizes that it's too late.

"You son of a bitch," Max pushes Jacob up against the wall and immediately punches him in the face. "I warned you not to hurt my mom and this is what you do?"

"What the actual fuck?" Jacob stumbles back and immediately feels his nose start to bleed. "You can be pissed off but your mom is a psycho. Obvi the apple doesn't fall from the tree!"

"How dare you," Max moves closer to him to punch him again.

"Stop it! Stop it right now!" Paige comes in between the two men. "Max, that's enough. Come on, let's go."

"You haven't seen the last of me," Max spits to Jacob as he is ushered out side of the coffeehouse by Paige, while Jacob tends to his bloody nose.

The Black House; Helen & Dawn's Home

"Robin, this is a surprise, what brings you by this morning?" Helen asks Adam's fiancé as she lets her into the house that she lives in with Dawn. Helen was on her way to the hospital to meet Adam and Shelley to see Dawn, who was having her first meeting today to help her with her addiction to medication. She had assumed that Robin would have been there too to support Adam. "I thought I was going to see you at the hospital."

"I was on my way there but I thought I should make a pit stop," Robin turns to face her once she is in the foyer. She recalls how the previous day Adam told her that he wouldn't marry her right away because he had to focus on Dawn while she gets off her pills. Robin, however, can't shake the feeling that there is more to Adam postponing the wedding, like his potentially lingering feelings for Helen.

"We can ride together if you'd like," Helen smiles over to her, still unsure of what the visit is actually about.

"I wanted you to hear this from me," Robin immediately tells her as she moves a piece of hair behind her ear. "Adam has decided to postpone our wedding."

"I see," Helen uneasily comments back to her.

"He said he wanted to focus on Dawn right now," Robin continues to explain to her.

"That makes sense," Helen nods back to her. "Dawn is going through a lot right now."

"Yes, that is true," Robin uneasily continues with her. "But, part of me is left wondering about something…"

Helen arches her eyebrow. "And, what would that be?"

"Do you still have feelings for Adam?" Robin asks her point blank. "Because, Helen, he is engaged to me."

Helen sighs back to her realizing that Robin is feeling insecure. "I told Adam after he saved me from the coffin that I still loved him," Helen reveals to Robin. "I won't lie to you that I still love my ex-husband. A part of me will always love him. But, he told me he was engaged to you, Robin. So, you have nothing to worry about."

"I appreciate that honesty," Robin tells her. "Just remember that he is engaged to me and that won't change anytime soon."

Twin Peaks General Hospital

"Hey, how did it go?" Adam asks Dawn as she comes back into her hospital room following her first meeting to deal with her addiction. Shelley, who was waiting with Adam, stands up and moves next to Adam, also curious as to how the meeting went.

Dawn puts some hair behind her ear and sighs as she thinks about the meeting. "Where's Mom? I thought she would have been here."

"She's running late, I guess," Adam replies to her quickly. "Don't worry, she will be here."

"We can wait to hear how it went until Helen arrives if you'd rather," Shelley tells her friend. "We just want to ensure that you're doing okay."

"I'm fine," Dawn replies to her quickly. "The meeting was okay. I basically just had to admit that I have a problem. We just listened to everyone, mostly. I still have a ways to go."

"Are you having any cravings or anything?" Adam asks her.

Dawn shakes her head no. "It was more that I was taking the pills to numb myself. I guess losing my baby and then grandma and then the drama with Mom, I just forgot how to cope, you know?"

Adam pulls her into a hug. "Don't worry baby, I'm here for you and I will see you through this."

"Thanks Daddy," Dawn lets a tear fall down her cheek. "I couldn't do this without you."

Roboto

Kim sits at her desk while she stares at the picture of Bob on the desk. She still can't believe that her husband is gone; so much has happened since he passed away, part of her thinks he will still walk through the door having been on an extended vacation or business trip. She takes a deep breath realizing that it is not the case.

"I miss you my love," she whispers to the picture as she suddenly moves her hand to her purse and pulls out the phone. She looks in the contacts and finds Greg's name, knowing that he is going through a difficult time with Cheresa being in the hospital.

"Thinking of you… I'm here for you if you need anything," she types into the text message and then pushes send. She puts the phone down as she looks over at the doorway when it opens and sees Cassie appear. "Cassie, hi."

"Hey, I was hoping we could have a moment to discuss these files you left for me to ready," Cassie moves up to her. "Hey, are you okay?"

"Yea, I'm fine," Kim stands up from her desk. "I was just thinking of Bob. It never gets easier, you know?"

Cassie uneasily nods back to him. "He will always be with you, Kim. It's okay to feel sad about that sometimes."

"I guess so much has happened since his passing I haven't had a moment to breathe," Kim admits to her. "It's all just catching up to me now."

Cassie walks over and hugs Kim who starts to cry. "Let it out Kim, I'm here for her, I'm right here."

The Calimo Mansion

"I have to get to Roboto but I am glad I ran into you this morning," Natasha moves into the living room of the of the Calimo mansion and drops her bag on to the sofa as she sees Cory pouring himself a cup of coffee. "I think we need to finish our discussion from last night."

"I'm not sure what is left to say," Cory replies to his wife, knowing that they appear to be at a stale mate between them. Things have been escalating between them for a while now and after Natasha hit him recently, Cory feels like he can't move on from Natasha's behavior and Natasha doesn't know if she can forgive her husband for telling Kim about the Robbie and Brooke's affair.

"I know," Natasha nods back to him. "I don't know where we should go either. But I have an idea of where to start."

Cory arches his eyebrow back to her. "Okay, I'm all ears."

"I want you to move back into the penthouse," Natasha tells him. "By the time I get home from work today, I want you out of the mansion. I think some time away from one another will be good."

Cory can't believe what his wife is saying to him but he finds himself nodding. "That's fine, I can go back to the penthouse but don't think that I won't be here to see Sophie. I will still be in my daughter's life."

"Of course," Natasha tells him. "I will never prevent you from seeing your daughter."

"Great, I'll pack my things."

"Great!" Natasha rolls her eyes back to him. "I'll talk to you later."

The Claus House; Jeff, Leah & Felicia's Home

"You've been awfully quiet since our discussion yesterday," Felicia tells Leah as Leah pours herself a glass of white wine from the bar in the living room of their house. Felicia knows that she told her daughter that she should reveal the secret that she has been keeping. Since this discussion, Leah has been very quiet which leads Felicia to think that she hit a nerve with her. The fact that her daughter is drinking so early in the day is another sign that something is troubling her. "Is there something on your mind."

Leah takes a long sip of her wine as she shuts her eyes and thinks about the fact that she knows that Logan is really Jeff's son; she has been struggling with this truth for so long, she longs to tell the truth. Still, she knows that if she does tell the truth, she could lose her husband and family as she knows it.

"Darling, you're scaring me," Felicia comes up behind her. "What is going on with you?"

Leah turns to face her mother as a tear falls down her face. "Oh my dear Leah, what is it? What's wrong?"

"Oh Mom," Leah's lower lip trembles. "You're right, you've been right all along. I do have a secret and it is tearing me up inside."

"What's this about a secret?" Jeff asks his wife as he walks into the living room, having overheard the tail end of his wife's comments. "What's going on in here?"

Twin Peaks General Hospital

"How was your visit with Cheresa?" Brooke asks Greg as her husband comes out of their daughter's hospital room. They both spent the night outside of Cheresa's room as they didn't want to leave her as Shane told them to brace themselves for the worst where their daughter is concerned. They still can't believe that this is happening to their youngest daughter.

"I hate seeing her like this," Greg runs his hand through his hair. "This doesn't seem fair; Cheresa is innocent in all of this."

"I know," Brooke stands up and moves towards him. "And, I know you're blaming me for all of this. And, I get that. But, Greg, our family needs to stick together right now."

"What the hell does that mean?"

"I think we should stay together," Brooke looks him in the eyes. "I don't think we should get a divorce right now. We have to be here for Abby and Brad and mostly Cheresa. They need us to be united right now."

Greg shakes his head in disbelief. "I can't believe you!" he tells her in anger. "Our daughter is fighting for our life and all you care about is looking out for yourself! You're so fucking selfish!"

"Greg, no, that's not what I was trying to do…"

"We are over Brooke," Greg spits back to her. "OVER! Do you hear me? Nothing you say or do will change my mind!"

***

"Meggan, you have to understand what you're going to do if you actually tell anyone about Cheresa's paternity," Brad follows Meggan into a waiting room of the hospital. Brad knows that Meggan has told him that she has to tell Chris and Trenyce the truth about Cheresa being their biological daughter; he fears that his family will explode even more than what it is already is with Cheresa's accident.

"I know exactly what I'm doing," Meggan snaps back at him. "I was there with your family, Brad. I heard every single word that Shane said; he told you all to prepare yourselves for the worst. That means that Cheresa likely will die; don't you think Chris and Trenyce deserve to know the truth before their child dies?"

"Not when it means my family will implode!" Brad yells back at her. "You have to understand…"

"No, it's over Brad," Meggan tells him. "I'm going to tell Chris and Trenyce and that's final."

"I'm telling Jeff everything then," Brad sneers at her. "You will lose your son!"

"You can threaten me all you want," Meggan tells him. "I can't even look at my son right now knowing I'm lying to Chris and Trenyce. The truth has to come out."

Brad watches Meggan as she pulls out her cell phone. "What are you doing?" he asks her.

"I'm sending Chris and Trenyce a text telling them that I need to see them," Meggan looks at him. "I am telling them the truth, Brad. And there's nothing you can do to stop me."
