Caldwell's Mountain Ski Resort The guests from the wedding
remain seated as the altar has been transformed into the main stage for the upcoming
fashion show. Donovan and Lukas take their seats, holding one another's hands,
as they are still on cloud nine from their ceremony. Craig uneasily looks at them
unable to shake the memory of him and Lukas kissing recently. Soon, dance music
starts to play and Dominick arrives at the podium. Photographers and press line
the back of the room waiting for the official launch of Robertson's winter/ski
line. "Ladies and gentlemen," Dominick says into the microphone
to the audience. "Thank you all for coming, not only to the wedding that
we just witnessed but now for the next big launch coming from Robertson Enterprises.
As you know, Robertson has always been cutting edge with the latest designs and
cosmetics. With our new line, Gravity, we are taking winter and ski wear to a
new, elevated level. We have garments for everyone, men, women and child but we
also have many different fragrances and cosmetics to accompany you with the fashion.
Now, who is ready to see Gravity?" The audience cheers back to him
which causes Dominick to get a smile on his face. "Without further ado
Robertson
Enterprises gives you Gravity
" The lights dim and the models
strut down the runway in the various pieces that Trenyce and Vinny designed for
Dominick and the line. The fashion show only lasts about ten minutes before the
lights come back on. "Thank you," Dominick waves to the crowd,
as they clap and the photographers continue to snap many pictures. "All the
pieces you saw in the fashion show are being sold exclusively at the Caldwell's
boutique; which is perfect since we are in the mountains right now. Buy something
and head on out to try it immediately!" The crowd once again cheers
as Dominick looks into the crowd and waves once more, thrilled by the success
of the launch. *** "I can't believe that we are
married and that the launch was such a hit," Donovan smiles over to his husband.
"I am so happy right now Lukas." "I am pretty happy myself,"
Lukas winks back to him. "I never thought that getting married would make
me feel differently, but I feel like I am on cloud nine." Donovan
chuckles back to him. "Well, you know this is just the start right? We still
have our reception later on once the fashion show has been cleaned up."
"How long do you think that will take?" Donovan shrugs
back to him. "I'm not sure, why?" "I was thinking of going
to buy some Gravity wear and heading out to the ski hill. Dominick is right, we
are here in the mountains, we might as well have some fun, right?"
"I think that's a great idea," Donovan smiles back to him. "You
go have fun, I'm not a big skier so, I'll stay here and help with the cleanup.
When you get back, we can have our reception." "Sounds like
a plan," Lukas leans in a gives him a kiss on the lips. "See you later."
Lukas turns and quickly walks away from his husband hoping to get to the
boutique to get some ski gear. As he leaves the ballroom, he happens to see Craig
emerge from the boutique holding a couple of large bags. "Looks
like you got some nice stuff," Lukas says as he walks up to his friend.
"I did," Craig nods back to him. "Congratulations, by the
way. When is the reception?" "Thank you. It will be in a little
while, once they clean up from the fashion show. I'm going to hit the slopes first."
"Looks like I'll see you on the hill," Craig winks back to him.
"Cause, that's where I was heading." "Perfect, see you
there." Roboto "I got your text, by the way,
I really appreciate you thinking about me while Cheresa has been in the hospital,"
Greg tells Kim as they sit next to one another on the sofa in the main office
of Roboto. Greg has been too busy to reply to his friend but after Cheresa seemingly
took a turn for the better and Brooke was arrested, he thought he would come see
Kim to fill her. Plus, a break from the drama is exactly what he needed.
"Of course," Kim nods back to him. "I'm just glad to hear that
Cheresa is getting better. I can't believe, though, that Trenyce and Chris are
her biological parents. What are the odds of that?" "I wish
I knew," Greg shakes his head back to her. "I don't know when or how
my family got to this place but we will never be the same again."
"You know that I'm here for you if you need anything, right?"
"I know," Greg smiles back to her as he moves closer to her. "You're
such a good friend." Kim moves a piece of hair behind her ear. "I'm
trying. You were there for me during Bob's passing and the trial, this is the
least I could do." Greg leans in and gives her a quick kiss on the
lips. "Sorry," he pulls back from her. "I know that this isn't
the time or place but I had to kiss you." Kim blushes back to him.
"You're right, it's not the time or the place but I appreciate the gesture.
I just don't want to jump into something so soon after Bob's death. And, I don't
want you to rebound from all the hurt that Brooke has put you through."
"You're being so mature," Greg chuckles back to her. Before
Kim can reply, the office door opens and Robbie quickly moves inside, not seeing
them sitting on the sofa at first. They watch Robbie walk to the bar and then
pour himself a scotch. "I've been meaning to reach out to you,"
Greg stands up and moves up to the man whom Brooke was having an affair with.
"I think we need to talk, don't you?" Robbie turns around and
sees Greg behind him and Kim sitting on the sofa. "Ah, of course you two
are together. Listen, Greg, before you start attacking me and Brooke for what
we did, you should look long and hard in the mirror about your relationship with
Kim." "Robbie, for the last time, Greg and I are just friends,"
Kim replies to him immediately growing fed-up with his constant assumption that
she and Greg are sleeping together. "Right," Robbie rolls his
eyes back to her. "You know what's interesting about that? You two have been
spotted in close moments before. And, you both have a history of lying, so forgive
me if I don't believe a word you say." "You son of a bitch,"
Greg grits his teeth together. "You sleep with my wife and then have the
nerve to verbally assault Kim and I? Where the hell do you get off?"
Before Robbie can reply, his cell phone rings. "Hello," he says
as he puts his phone to his ear. "Brooke, hi," his eyes lock with Greg's,
who starts to fume. "My God! Yes, I'll be right there." Robbie
hangs up and glares back at Greg. "You say that I have a lot of nerve, your
wife was just arrested and you're here with Kim?" "What did
she want?" "She's asked me to post her bail," Robbie tells
Greg. "I'm going to get Brooke out of jail." Greg watches Robbie
walk out of the office before he picks up the glass Robbie was drinking from and
smashes it against the wall. "How could she call him over me?" he yells
in frustration. "I think it's time you realize something,"
Kim comes up behind Greg. "Your marriage, it really is over Greg. Whatever
you and Brooke had, it's long gone." Caldwell's Mountain Ski
Resort "I can't believe your mother," Andy sighs over to
Nicholas as they stand on the terrace looking at the beautiful mountains in front
of them. Andy recalls how just before the wedding began, Melissa arrived and announced
that Dominick had invited her and Phil to the Gravity launch; she was upset to
see Andy and Nicholas together that she announced that Nicholas would be returning
to Boston with her and Phil when they returned home. "I'm not sure what I
ever did that she wants to take you away from Twin Peaks." Nicholas
uneasily nods back to him. "I know, she's just looking out for me. I think
she really believes that the Arch Bishop catching us in bed together ended everything
for me." "She is right on some level," Andy admits to
him. "But you and I had been leading up to that moment for months. And, you
had no idea Melissa was convincing the Bishop to apologize to you for being such
an asshole." Nicholas chuckles. "I love how passionate you
are about this." "I love you Nicholas," Andy looks into
his eyes. "I don't want to lose you. I can't lose you. Not now, not after
everything we've been through to be together." "You're not
going to lose me," Nicholas replies to him. "I'll talk to my mother.
I'll make her realize that she can't force me to leave here, okay? Try not to
worry Andy. We are together now and nothing will change that." ***
"That was absolutely wonderful darling," Eva boosts to Dominick,
still overwhelmed with how the fashion show turned out for the launch of Gravity.
She didn't think that anything could top the beautiful wedding between Lukas and
Donovan, but the fashion show came in a very close second in her mind. She looks
at her husband and feels so proud of him. "You should be extremely happy
with how that turned out." Dominick nods back to her. "And,
the line up at the boutique is out the door," he grins to her. "I really
think this line will be a huge success." "As I knew it would
be," Eva replies to her husband. "Excuse me, Mr. Robertson,"
the front desk clerk comes up to Dominick and Eva. "I'm sorry to interrupt,
but I wanted to let you know that there are avalanche warnings this evening."
Dominick arches his eyebrow. "So many people have already left for the
ski hills. How often do you actually get an avalanche?" "Not
often, I just wanted to let you know about the warnings." "Thank
you," Dominick uneasily nods back to him. "I'll try to warn as many
people as we can." *** "Daisy, are you in here?"
Tyler calls out as he moves into the suite at the ski resort. He wants to see
his girlfriend so they can celebrate the successful launch of Gravity since they
have both been working long hours on the line. Of course, Tyler also wants to
have some alone time with Daisy so he can propose to her; he wants nothing more
than to have Daisy accept his request to marry him. "Yea, I am,"
Daisy calls out from the washroom. "I'll be right out." "Take
your time," Tyler replies to her. "I'm not going anywhere."
He turns around when he hears the door open and his mouth opens in surprise.
"What is all this?" Daisy twirls around in some ski pants and
a matching snow jacket. "Do you like it? It is one of Trenyce's designs."
"I love it! You look adorable," Tyler moves up to her and gives
her a quick kiss on the lips. "I thought we could celebrate the success of
the launch together?" "I'd love too," Daisy winks back
to him. "But, I'm going to hit the ski hill first! I haven't skied in so
long, I think it will be fun!" Tyler feels his heart sink as he
had hoped to have a romantic moment with her. He sighs realizing that they still
can when she gets back from skiing. "Alright, I hope you have fun."
"Why don't you come with?" "I don't ski," Tyler
admits to her. "And, I'll be here waiting for you. I'll plan a romantic night
for just the two of us." "I love that idea," Daisy smiles
as she leans in and kisses him. "I'll see you later." ***
In the ballroom, Leah picks up a glass of champagne and takes a sip of it
immediately. While she is thrilled with how the launch went, she can't help but
think about her personal life and how it has been turned upside down because she
finally revealed the truth to Jeff that Logan is his son, not Brad's. While she
expected Jeff to be upset, she never did imagine that he would walk out on her
and tell her that he hated her. All of her worst fears came true; she has lost
everything that she had built up with Jeff. She looks over towards the
door way and sees Meggan leaving. She was going to approach her but she realized
that it wasn't a good idea since she didn't want there to be any drama at the
launch for Dominick. She knows that eventually she will have to face the mother
of Logan, but as for right now, she doesn't want to deal with it. She
turns around again to grab another glass of champagne when she sees Jeff walk
into the ballroom. She feels her heart sink at the sight of her husband; after
he missed the fashion show, she didn't think he was going to show up. But there
he is in the flesh. "You came," she approaches her husband.
"I wasn't expecting to see you here." "I put a lot of
time and energy into the line," Jeff replies to her coldly. "I wanted
to see how it turned out." "It was great," Leah tells
him. "It's a shame you missed the launch." "I had a personal
matter to take care of," he informs her. "And before you ask, it's none
of your business." "Jeff," Leah starts to plead with him.
"We have to talk about this at some point. You can't keep shutting me out.
I'm your wife! Did I make a mistake, yes, but we have been through so much together!"
"And all of that went down the drain," Jeff snaps at her. "When
you decided to lie to me about having a child. You kept my son away from me for
over a year, Leah! That is unforgivable." "Are you saying you
can't forgive me for this?" "That's exactly what I am saying,"
he glares at her. "I will never forgive you, Leah." Next
