The Lawson Estate; Greg, Brooke, Abby & Cheresa's Home

"You guys made this meeting sound so important," Cheresa informs Brooke and Greg as she pours herself a cup of coffee at the bar in the lavish living room of the Lawson estate. Cheresa looks over her should and sees Abby sitting on the sofa. "Abs, would you like a coffee?"

"No, I'm okay thanks," Abby replies to her sister. "Since I was off caffeine while I was pregnant, I haven't gone back. It's nice not needing a boost every so often."

"I wish I had your strength," Cheresa chuckles to her before she takes a sip of her coffee.

"We have something important to tell you," Brooke's voice cracks as the looks at her children. Greg comes up behind her and puts his hands on her shoulders. "And, it can't wait. You have to hear this from us."

Abby uneasily looks over at Cheresa and then back at her parents. "What is it? What's happened?"

"It's Bradley," Greg tries to remain calm. "There's no easy way to say this …"

"What about Brad?" Cheresa asks, not clueing into what has happened.

"He's dead," Greg stuns his daughters as Brooke covers her mouth and more tears flood into her eyes. "He was attacked on New Year's Eve."

"What?" Abby gasps back to him. "That's impossible?"

"This can't be true!" Cheresa replies to them next, thinking about how she also lost Shelley recently. "Brad can't be gone! He just can't be!"

"We are just as shocked and devastated by this as you two are," Greg tells them. "But it is true."

"How did this happen?" Abby asks as tears run down her cheek. "How did he die?"

"He was killed," Brooke gasps for air as she tries to comprehend what has happened. "He was murdered!"

"No," Cheresa covers her mouth. "Not the same person who killed Shelley? Please tell me that isn't what happened?"

"I'm afraid so," Greg nods as he gets tears in his eyes. "Simona Lopez suspects it is the rose peddle killer."

"Oh God," Cheresa covers her mouth as Brooke rushes over and hugs her daughter. "This can't be happening! This can't be happening."

Abby looks at Greg and then rushes out of the room, unable to comprehend what is happening. "Abby, wait," Greg calls out, but he hears the front door slam shut behind him.

Greg moves over to Brooke and Cheresa, who are sobbing in one another's arms. He puts his arms around the two of them and sighs heavily.

"We are in this together," he tries to tell them as they continue to weep. "We are in this together."

Tyler's Townhouse

"I can't thank you enough for letting me stay here right now," Trenyce tells Tyler as she's wrapped in a large quilt and sitting on the sofa in his living room. There is a large fire roaring in the fire place and Trenyce has a glass of wine in front of her. Andrew and Albertinah are sitting next to one another on the adjacent sofa.

"Of course," Tyler comes into the living room with more glasses of wine for Andrew and Albertinah. "Your home is currently a police investigation scene. There's no way you can stay there. I have to ask, though, where is Daisy going to stay?"

"She's getting a room at the Executive Hotel," Trenyce explains to them. "I didn't want to be alone right now."

"Of course not," Andrew looks over at her. "You have been through something horribly traumatic."

"I still can't believe Brad is dead," Trenyce whispers to them. "And, that this serial killer is the one who killed him. It seems so surreal to me."

"We all have to hope and pray that Simona Lopez and the rest of the police department find this monster before anyone else is hurt," Albertinah chimes in before she takes a sip of her wine. "Two people are already dead. We don't need any more deaths in the city."

"It should have been me," Trenyce feels her eyes swell with water. "I should have been the one who was killed."

"You can't think that way Trey," Tyler tells her.

"How can I not?" Trenyce asks her friends. "The killer broke into my house; they tried to stab me … what if the killer comes back and tries to finish what they started? My God, what if I am in danger?"

"We will protect you," Andrew reaches over and grabs her hand. "Nothing bad will happen to you, you have my word on that."

The Pampa Grill

Vinny opens the door to the restaurant and quickly moves inside as he is desperate for a drink that will help him warm up as the wintery air is still chilly. He moves up closer to the hostess stand but turns his head and sees Daisy sitting alone at the bar with a scotch in front of her. He arches his eyebrow as he knows that Daisy normally doesn't drink scotch. He finds himself moving closer to her.

"Fancy running into you here," he says with a sly grin on his face as he sits next to her.

Daisy looks at him and immediately pulls him into a hug. "Oh Brett," she says gasping for air. "Thank God you're here."

"Hey, what is it?" Vinny asks her, reminding himself that everyone still believes that he is Brett, not Vinny. "What is wrong, you're trembling?"

"Brad Lawson was stabbed to death by this rose peddle serial killer in Trenyce's living room on New Year's Eve," she whispers into his ear.

"Oh God," Vinny replies in shock. "How is Trenyce?"

"She's shaken to her very core," Daisy looks him in the eyes as they exit their embrace. "Apparently, she was going to be stabbed when Brad pushed her out of the way and he took the knife instead. She's blaming herself."

"Do they have any idea who this rose peddle killer is?"

"I have no idea but Simona Lopez better start doing her damn job," Daisy tells him.

"You were staying with Trenyce," Vinny recalls out loud. "Where are you going to stay now? You can't stay there?"

"I'm getting a room at the Executive Inn."

"Nonsense," Vinny waves his hand back to her. "Come live with me in the mansion."

Daisy looks back at him in shock. "What? No, Brett, I can't do that."

"Why not? You and Tyler are over," Vinny reminds her. "And, there's so much room in that house, it's a shame it's going to waste. Come on, what do you say?"

"Fine, just for a few nights," Daisy nods back to him. "I didn't want to be alone anyways."

Vinny pulls her into another hug. "You're not alone, never forget that Daisy," he whispers to her as he holds her.

At another table, Leah finishes her glass of white wine before she grabs her purse and prepares to leave the restaurant. She has to get back to the office to wrap up some files before the end of the day. Just as she is about to stand up, Jeff approaches her table.

"Hey, do you have a moment?" he asks his ex-wife as he sits across from her.

Leah looks back at him slightly annoyed that is preventing her from leaving. "Not really, I have a million things to do at Robertson. Why? What's going on?"

"Brad Lawson is dead," Jeff reveals to her. "Apparently, this serial killer, the rose peddle killer, stabbed him on New Year's."

"What?" Leah gasps back to him in shock. "I can't believe this."

"I didn't either at first," Jeff admits to her. "But I was with Meggan when she got the call."

"She must be devastated considering their history together."

"She was upset, yes," Jeff nods back to her. "It certainly makes you realize how precious life is, huh?"

"You can say that again," Leah tells him. "We really should tell Paige that she needs to be careful. The last thing I want is for our daughter to get cornered by this psycho."

"I couldn't agree more," he agrees with her. "While we are talking about children…"

"Oh God, you're thinking about that dreadful double date Cory and I had with you and Meggan last December, aren't you?"

Jeff shrugs back to her. "I can't help but remember that you and Cory said you were going to try for a child. Is that still a thing? Is that still happening?"

"Not that it is any of your business," Leah looks back at him. "But yes, Cory and I are still planning on having a child together. Now, if you'll excuse me, I really must get to the office."

Jeff watches as she scurries away from. Once she is gone, he sighs heavily and runs his hand through his hair, wondering why the idea of Leah having a child with another man makes him so uncomfortable.

The Calimo Mansion

"Where is Kim?" Jacob asks Robbie as he pours two glasses of wine for himself and Paige, who is sitting on the sofa in the living room of the mansion. "Paige and I would like to offer congratulations on the engagement."

"She's at the office," Robbie smiles back to his nephew. "That is very sweet of you two, though. She will be touched. As you can imagine, not everyone was as thrilled with the news."

"Yes, I'm sure she will be touched," Natasha rolls her eyes as she finishes poking a piece of wood in the fireplace, which has a large fire crackling in it. "It is nice to see you two here. We need to do this more often," Natasha smiles to her son and Paige as she moves to the sofa. "What is going on with the two of you? Wedding plans?"

Paige moves a piece of hair behind her ear. "We are planning something but we haven't set a date or anything. I guess that is our next step?"

"We are just trying to live our lives right now," Jacob nods back to Paige before he looks at his mother and uncle. "After almost dying in Banff, we just want to enjoy every day."

"I still can't believe that monster Cassie Nova tried to kill you," Natasha shakes her head back to them. "If she didn't die in that plane crash, I would kill her myself."

"Make sure Max doesn't hear you talk like that," Jacob uneasily chuckles back to her. "He's not taking her death very well."

"That is to be expected, isn't it?" Robbie asks him. "I mean, he was Cassie's only child. They were bound to be close."

"He actually quit Robertson Enterprises," Paige reveals to the group. "He was livid with us for not stopping the welcome home party that you threw," Paige tells Natasha as they lock eyes. "He thinks we were insensitive to his situation considering he helped save us."

"He'll get over it," Robbie tells them. "He just needs time to grieve."

"Wait a minute," Natasha shakes her hand in the air. "Max is a young kid, how on earth is he going to survive without any type of income?"

Paige uneasily looks back at her. "Apparently he inherited some money from Cassie's will," she explains to them. "That's what he told us, anyways."

Natasha looks back at Robbie with intent. "I wonder," she whispers to herself. "Is he inheriting those stolen funds from Roboto? Because if he is, I want that damn money back!"

"How would we ever prove that, Nat?" Robbie asks his sister.

"Leave that to me," Natasha purses her lips together. "We might be able to recover what Cassie stole for us after all."

MWI

"Hey, I hope I'm not interrupting," Nicholas knocks on Meggan's door and peeks his head inside. "I was on my way home and thought I'd pop in quickly."

Meggan looks up at him with red eyes as she has been crying since she found out at about Brad's murder. She knows that Andy, however, is desperate to locate Clayton, the Reese lookalike, so she understands why Nicholas is stopping by.

"Hey, are you okay? You look like you've been crying," Nicholas notes back to the PI.

"It is Brad Lawson," Meggan whispers back to him as she stands up from behind her desk. "He was murdered by the rose peddle killer."

"Wow, I am so sorry," Nicholas shakes his head back to her. "I can't believe that it's true; there really is a serial killer on the loose; it seems surreal to think it's a reality."

"And, Brad is their second victim," Meggan uneasily nods back to him. "It's unsettling to say the least."

"I know this is a bad time to talk but Andy is pressing for an update."

"I know and I get it," Meggan moves a piece of hair behind her ear. "I found Clayton, the lookalike, at the One Day House."

Nicholas eyes open wider in surprise realizing that he could be busted considering he owns the One Day House. He didn't want anyone to know that Clayton was there. "You did? I hadn't seen him there…"

"I spoke to him," Meggan continues to tell him. "He has no idea how or why he looks like Reese. I don't know why he'd lie about this but I believe him."

"So, we tell Andy now? Is that the next step?"

Meggan nods back to him. "Once Andy learns the truth, it's up to him what he wants to do next."

"Is there any other option?" Nicholas asks her.

"Why do I get the feeling you don't want Andy to learn the truth?"

Nicholas puts his hand on his hip and sighs back to her. "Because, that's exactly what I don't want to have happen."

The Richardson Estate; Meggan, Lukas & Donovan's Estate

"Thank you for seeing me without any notice," a shaky Abby tells Donovan as she moves into the living room of the Richardson estate. After her parents told her that Brad was murdered, Abby raced over because she knew that the only thing that would truly make her feel better would be seeing baby Olly. "I just … I had to get out of my house."

"Are you okay, Abby? You look pale?" Donovan notes back to her. "What's happened?"

"My brother Brad," she looks back at him with red eyes. "He was murdered on New Year's Eve. This rose peddle serial killer stabbed him."

Donovan shakes his head back in shock as he pulls her into a hug. "I am so sorry," he whispers back to her. "No wonder you're rattled. Can I do anything to help?"

"Yes," Abby looks back at him with big eyes as they exit their embrace. "I was hoping I could see Olly. He has a way of making me feel better?"

Donovan gulps heavily as he thinks back to how Lukas told him that he wasn't comfortable with Abby seeing Olly again as he was worried about her attachment to their son. Still, seeing the devastated young woman in front of him, Donovan knows that he has to do whatever he can to help her.

"Uh, of course," Donovan says back to her. "Why don't you take a seat and I'll go get him."

"Thank you so much Donovan."

Abby moves to the sofa and takes a seat. She looks around the room while Donovan goes to get Olly. Within a few minutes, he reappears with his son in his hands.

"Here we go," Donovan smiles to the baby as he moves closer to Abby and he places Olly in her hands. "You have him?"

"Yea, I have him," Abby smiles at the sight of the child in her hands. "Hey Olly, how are you? Do you remember me? You've gotten so much bigger since I've seen you last," she says as she gets tears in her eyes. "You have no idea how much I needed to see you right now."

Donovan feels his heart break as he watches Abby with Olly. At the entrance to the living room, Lukas stands there fuming at the sight unfolding in front him. He is furious that, once again, Donovan is letting Abby hold their son while he is seemingly not at home.

"So much for that being the last time she saw our son," Lukas whispers to himself as he feels his blood start to boil.

The Lawson Estate; Greg, Brooke, Abby & Cheresa's Home

"I don't think I've ever seen our daughter's so upset before," Brooke tells Greg as she pours two scotches from the bar in the living room. She moves over to her ex-husband and passes him one of the drinks. "This family has been through hell and back, and this might be the worst thing that has ever happened to us."

"I agree," Greg takes a sip of his drink. "But, like I said earlier, I do believe that we will get through this. We are a strong family. We have to stand together right now."

"It's just so hard to say goodbye," Brooke gets more tears in her eyes. "A mother isn't supposed to outlive her son."

Before Greg can reply, the doorbell to the front door rings. "Ah," Greg looks back at Brooke. "Our visitor has arrived."

Greg moves to the front door and opens it. Simona Lopez looks back at Greg. "Mr. Lawson," she says as she steps into the foyer of the house. "I came as soon as I got your message."

"Thank you," Greg closes the door behind her.

"Detective," Brooke moves closer to her and her ex-husband. "I'm glad you're here."

"I am assuming this has to do with Brad?"

"You're damn straight it does," Greg looks back at her with intent. "We need to know what exactly you're doing to find this rose peddle serial killer!"

"Yes," Brooke agrees with him. "What are you doing to try to find the monster and took our son away from us?"
