Twin Peaks Police Department

Simona paces back and forth in her office as she looks at a white board of all the clues that she has collected from the murder scenes of both Shelley and Brad. She knows that the Rose Peddle killer must have targeted both victims for a reason, but she hasn't been able to piece the connection together yet. Of course, the longer that it takes her to figure out who the killer is, the higher the chances there will be another killing. And, that is the last thing she wants to have happen. She knows that the citizens of Twin Peaks are already on edge; she has to find the killer before he or she strikes again.

"I have to figure this out," she stops and taps her pencil on her desk as she looks at the white board. "What do Shelley and Brad have in common that someone would want them dead?"

She looks at the board for a moment and has a realization. "Wait, Brad was at the Davenport house to pick up Trenyce," she whispers to herself. "Trenyce was the one the killer wanted; so, I have to figure out what Shelley and Trenyce have in common. Brad just got in the way of Trenyce's attack."

Simona moves to the white board and writes Trenyce's name next to Brad's picture. "It might not seem like a lot right now," Simona tells herself. "But, if I can find the common denominator between Trenyce and Shelley, then I might be able to uncover who the Rose Peddle killer is."

MWI

"Hey, I know I didn't make an appointment, but we need to talk," Nicholas announces as he moves into Meggan's office at the private investigating firm. Nicholas can't help but think about being at the One Day House earlier and Cory informed him that Clayton had left the house. He hasn't had the nerve to tell Andy the truth about Clayton's whereabouts yet, and now he is worried that he will not get the chance because the Reese lookalike has disappeared. He just hopes that Meggan will be able to track Clayton down again, if it is even possible at this time.

"I have a couple of minutes," Meggan replies to him quickly. "Have you had the chance to tell Andy the truth about Clayton?"

"No," Nicholas shakes his head back to her. "I was close to telling him, but I lost my nerve. I know, I shouldn't have been so nervous, but I couldn't help it."

"I see," Meggan uneasily looks back at him. "We have to tell Andy about Clayton; Andy really deserves to try to seek the answers to the questions he has about why Clayton looks like Reese."

"I get it," Nicholas uneasily nods back to her. "But, we have a problem."

"What problem?"

"Clayton," Nicholas looks back at her with intent. "He left the One Day House; I have no idea when he left or where he is but I got confirmation earlier that he's gone."

"What?" Meggan asks him in shock. "Why would he just leave like that? Where would he have gone?"

"I wish I knew," Nicholas tells her. "But with Clayton gone, Andy might never get answers he is seeking."

"You have to tell Andy the truth," Meggan tells him quickly. "You have to tell Andy everything that has happened, he has a right to know what's happened."

Nicholas uneasily nods back to him. "You're right, I have to tell Andy. I must brace myself and tell him everything. In the meantime, do you think you could try to track him down?"

"I can do my best but I can't make any promises," Meggan sighs back to him. "We had him, I can't believe that we left him get away before Andy knew the truth."

The Tower's; Floor One; Andy's Condo

Andy pours himself a cup of coffee and takes a sip of it before he moves to the sofa in his living room. He sits down and wonders why he hasn't had an update from Meggan on the Reese lookalikes whereabouts. He had hoped that she would be able to track down the man that looks like his dead husband, so he could understand why he looks like Reese. He still can't believe that there is a man out there that is a split image for Reese; he just hopes that he can find him.

"While I'm waiting for Meggan to get back to me," he whispers to himself. "There's someone else I should have called about this. Someone who has a right to know that there is a Reese lookalike."

He picks up his phone and scrolls through his contact list. Soon, he is dialing a number and he puts the phone to his ear.

"Hello?" a voice says on the other end of the phone.

"Madeline, it's me, it's Andy," he says with a sly grin on his face as he hears his former sister in law's voice. He hasn't spoken to Reese's sister in a very long time, but they have kept in touch throughout the years.

"Andy? Wow, it's been ages since we spoke," Madeline tells him, as she looks at the beach in front of her from Los Angeles. "How have you been?"

"I can't complain," Andy replies to her. "I'm sorry it's been so long, we can't go this long without speaking again."

"Agreed," she says back to him. "It's really nice to hear your voice."

"There's a reason why I'm calling," he admits to her. "Something has happened, and you have to hear it from me."

"You certainly have my attention," Madeline tells her. "What's going on?"

"You have to brace yourself Madeline," Andy begins to tell her. "It's about Reese. It's about your twin brother."

"Reese? What about him?"

"There's a man," Andy says. "That looks just like him. There's a Reese lookalike and I've been face to face with him."

The Pampa Grill

"I'm glad you were able to sneak away from Olly to have a drink with me," Eva looks over at Donovan as they sit across from one another in the restaurant. Eva knows that the majority of Donovan's time right now is focused on his new son, so she is grateful that he is with her right now.

"You're still a priority of mine," Donovan smiles back to her. "Besides, you made it seem important on the phone. Has something happened with Will and Dominick?"

"No," Eva shakes her head back to him. "I've told Will that he has to stop waiting for me because I am determined to make my marriage to Dominick work."

"How is that going?" Donovan asks her next as he knows how furious Dominick was at Eva once her affair with Will was revealed. He can understand why Dominick was upset with her, but he hopes that his mother's marriage can be saved.

Eva sighs back to him. "I'm taking it one day at a time," she replies to him. "I won't be able to fix this overnight, but I am determined to make Dominick realize that we are meant to be together. Anyways, the reason I wanted to talk to is discuss Victoria."

"Victoria? Has something new happened that I don't know about?"

"You had a phone call the other day from Simona Lopez?" Eva asks her son as he nods back. "You were able to confirm that she was at the Pampa Grill until 1:30 am on New Year's Eve. That information basically cleared her from being the Rose Peddle killer."

Donovan breathes a sigh of relief. "Thank God," he looks back at her. "That is the best news I've had in a very long time."

"I know," Eva agrees with him. "We still have to confirm if she has split again but at least we know she's not killing innocent people."

"I guess the question is," Donovan looks back at her. "How are we going to confirm if she has split again or not? How can we prove that Mom?"

At another table, Daisy picks up her glass of red wine before she sees Tyler walk into the restaurant. Tyler looks over at his ex-girlfriend and then proceeds to walk over to her table. He was at home because he quit working for Robertson Enterprises when he got a message from Daisy to meet him at the restaurant. He can't help but recall the other day when they were together, and he told her about his recent interactions with Brett; first, Tyler saw him sneaking out of Victoria's condo and then Brett confronted him and told him to focus on Felicia instead of him. When he told Daisy, Tyler was only trying to tell her to be careful since she is living in the Victors mansion.

"I got your message," Tyler says as he sits across from Daisy. "Are you okay?"

"Yea, I'm fine," Daisy nods back to him. "I spoke to Brett after our last conversation."

"You did, huh?" Tyler asks her back. "How did that go? Was he upset with me for talking to you about it?"

Daisy takes another sip of her wine. "He was taken aback by my questions, yes but he said he was upset with you for talking about him behind his back," she reveals to him. "He said he felt like you were spreading rumors about him about him sneaking out of Victoria's condo; he claimed he was visiting Victoria, she got a headache. He left as she took a nap and that's when you saw him."

"I guess that makes sense," Tyler admits to her. "I still don't get why he threatened me and told me to focus on Felicia."

"Brett claimed he was just trying to get you to leave him alone," Daisy tells him. "He doesn't know anything about your mother other than she has a history with mental illness, which is true. Everything he said made a lot of sense to me."

"So, you believed him? You don't think that is trying to cover up something else?"

Daisy sighs back to him. "I don't know what it was about Brett, but I do believe him," she admits to him. "I don't think he was lying to us. He really seemed to not want everyone to compare him to the actions of Dave and Vinny."

Tyler uneasily nods back to him. "That also makes sense. I think so much pain was caused by his brothers that it is easy to forget that he might not be the same as them," he nods back to her. "I'll drop this, but I still want you to be careful, Daisy. If he is up to something, I don't want you to get caught in the crossfire."

"I will be careful," Daisy tells him. "And, if I notice anything else, you will be the first to know."

The Tower's; Floor Eight; Victoria's Condo

"I appreciate you coming to check in on me," Victoria tells Brett as she opens the door and sees him standing there. She still has a splitting headache and has no idea how to get rid of it. The fact that Brett is there to see her does make her feel grateful that she has friends that still care about her. "I'm afraid I don't think I will be very good company."

"The last time I saw you, you said you had a headache," Vinny forces himself to say with an intent. He hates that everyone still calls him Brett, but if he told anyone the truth, he would be arrested. He has to continue to play this charade with everyone, including Victoria, who continues to look horrible as he is drugging her and causing her to have migraines. "I came over for lunch, remember?"

"You did?" Victoria asks him in confusion, not remembering having him over for lunch. "I just remember seeing you at the hospital a few days ago."

"We had lunch a couple days ago," Vinny lies to her. He knows that he must cover his tracks since Tyler saw him leaving Victoria's condo; he knows that Victoria is so out of it that he will be able to tell her that he was there and with her time lapses, she will not remember. Plus, while he's there he can refill her aspirin bottle with the new drugs he is giving her to help further make her believe that she has split again. "I left here when you said you had a headache and wanted a nap."

"My God," Victoria sighs back to him. "I must really be losing it. I don't remember at all. I am so sorry."

"This must be another one of your time lapses," Vinny coaches her into believing his lies. "Maybe it's time you seek medical attention?"

"You're right," she agrees with him. "I must have lost track of that time. It has been happening more and more lately. Gah, my head is still splitting. I think I should go back to bed?"

"Okay, do you mind if I use your restroom before I leave?"

"Of course," she says to him. "I'll grab some pain medication after you leave."

Vinny quickly walks into the washroom and closes the door. He opens the medicine cabinet and pulls out the aspirin and fills the bottle with more pills. He then puts it back and looks at himself in the mirror.

"You won't be getting better any time soon," he whispers to himself as a gets a wicked grin on his. "In fact, you're going to get a lot worse before you get better."
