Adam's Townhouse

Chris slowly walks up to the front door of Adam's townhouse as he knows that he must see the man that he was involved in a car accident with last fall; the accident, in which Chris was drinking and driving, caused Adam to have short term memory loss and impacted his life severely. The fact that Chris got out of jail early, due to good behavior, is a blessing but he wants Adam to hear it from that he is out of jail. Chris still feels like he has a lot to make up for, and this is the perfect place to start.

He rings the doorbell and waits for it open, taking a deep breath to try to calm himself down. "Chris, my God, you're out of jail?" Adam is stunned when he opens the door and sees Chris standing there. "When did this happen?"

"I am out of jail," Chris nods back to him. "It just happened this morning, actually. I wanted to come and see you personally to let you know about my release."

"Uh, yea, how did you get out early? If you don't mind me asking?"

"Of course not," Chris replies to him quickly. "I got out for good behavior and this is one of the first places that I wanted to come. I thought you deserved to know from me that I got released."

"I appreciate you coming and telling me," Adam looks back at him. "Before the accident, I never thought of you as a bad guy, Chris."

"I made a really horrible mistake," Chris tells him. "A mistake that I will never make again. I will never drink and drive again in my life."

"I'm glad to hear that," Adam says back to him. "The outcome could have been far worse."

"Agreed," Chris nods back to Adam. "I just want to make amends and try to move on with my life now."

The Pampa Grill

"Wait, so this guy looks just like Reese?" a stunned Jeff asks Madeline as they sit across from one another at a table in the restaurant. Jeff just heard about Madeline's adventure with Andy and Nicholas as they went to Nashville trying to track down Clayton Hughes, the man who is a dead ringer for Reese. To their surprise, Clayton ended up being their waiter at the restaurant they were at. The sight of seeing Reese's doppelganger was too much for Madeline and she fainted. When she came too, however, she was able to convince Clayton to come back to Twin Peaks so they can try to get to the bottom of why he looks like her twin brother.

"I didn't believe it myself until I saw him with my own eyes," Madeline nods back to him. "Andy had told me that Clayton looked like Reese, but I was blown away. It's like they are the same person."

"Wow," Jeff shakes his head back to him. "I hope you and Andy are able to get to the bottom of this. It's a mystery, that's for sure."

"Me too," Madeline says back to him. "I mean, there has to be a story there, right? It's too weird for him to look just like Reese for no reason."

"You'd think so?"

"What's going on with you?" Madeline asks her friend as she changes the subject. "I happened to run into Meggan the other day; she said she recently ended things with you?"

Jeff uneasily smiles back to her as he thinks about his on again and off again relationship with Meggan. "She did," he admits to her. "Leah and Cory have been trying to have a child together and that got in my head, considering I am the father of Leah's other children. But the good news is that Meggan has agreed to go away with me for the weekend with Cory and Leah so she can see that I am over my ex-wife and she has moved on with Cory."

Madeline arches her eyebrow back to him, wondering if this weekend away is a good idea or not. It sounds like it could get messy. "Are you sure that's a good idea? You know the history you have with Leah and Meggan is long and very sorted."

Jeff chuckles back to her. "If it means showing Meggan that I am over Leah and only in love with her, then yes, I think it's a very good idea."

Madeline giggles to him. "I wish you luck my friend, it sounds like it will be a very interesting weekend."

The Tower's; The Penthouse; Cory's Home

"It was nice of Meggan to offer the winery in Santa Barbara as a venue to get away," Cory tells Leah as he puts his suitcase on the bed and opens it, as they are starting to pack for their weekend away. He is still a little rattled that Leah invited Jeff and Meggan, but he understands her motivation behind it; if this will allow everyone to realize that Jeff and Leah have moved on from each other, then it will be a good thing.

"I thought so too," Leah looks over at her lover. "By the way, you're not upset that I invited them, are you? It's just when I got Jeff's text …"

"I was a bit put off at first," Cory admits to her. "But I thought that this made complete sense. If this helps Jeff and Meggan realize that everyone has moved on, then I think it is for the best."

"Okay, good," Leah nods back to him. "I was thinking the same thing, to be honest. It might be good for everyone to help them move on."

"Yea, I guess my only apprehension is to leave Natasha and Sophie right now," Cory tells her. "I am still stunned that Eva was killed last night. I can't imagine what Natasha is going through."

"Do you want to postpone?" Leah asks him quickly. "We don't have to leave now."

"No, I think we should go," Cory looks back at her. "Natasha will insist that I continue to live my life, so we will go. I just have to make sure she knows that I am there for her if she needs support."

"Of course," Leah comes up and hugs him. "And, we have to pray that Simona Lopez finds this monster once and for all."

The Richardson Estate; Meggan, Lukas & Donovan's Home

"How is Donovan this morning?" Meggan asks her brother as she pours herself a cup of coffee and takes a sip of it immediately. She can only imagine what Donovan is going through this morning as he is dealing with Eva's death; she and Lukas can relate, in some ways, as they also lost their father, Frederick, to a murder but they were not nearly as close to their father as Donovan was to Eva.

Lukas looks over at his sister as he puts a sleeping Olly down in his play pen. "He went to the police station earlier with Natasha and Victoria," he reveals to her. "He is desperate for the Rose Peddle killer to be brought to justice now."

"I just can't believe that so many people have died, and they haven't been able to find the killer yet."

"And, God knows how many more people will die before Simona Lopez does her job," Lukas grits his teeth together. "Let's not forget, she arrested me and sent me to jail for believing I killed Dad when I was innocent. That woman has no idea how to do her job."

"Just make sure you're there to support Donovan right now," Meggan looks back at her brother. "He's going to need you."

"I will," Lukas nods back to her. "Did I see a suitcase in the foyer?"

"You did," Meggan purses her lips together. "Jeff and I are going to go to the winery for the weekend with Cory and Leah."

"Uh," Lukas chuckles back to her. "Is that a good idea?"

"Of course," Meggan looks back at him. "If I can see with my own eyes that Jeff and Leah are history then maybe we can all move on from this once and for all."

"Okay, good luck Meg," Lukas moves up and hugs her. "I think I hear Donovan coming home. I'm going to check on him."

Lukas leaves the room and moves into the foyer of the mansion, where he sees Donovan closing the front door behind him. "Babe, are you okay?"

Donovan looks at his husband with red eyes and quickly moves up to him and hugs him. "No," Donovan weeps into his shoulder. "I'm not okay, Lukas. My Mom … she's…gone."

"I know," Lukas holds him. "I'm right here, Donovan. I'm right here."

Adam's Townhouse

"Okay, I think this is the last of my stuff," Robin announces to Adam as she moves to the top of the staircase in Adam's townhouse as she carries a suitcase in her hand.

Adam sighs at the sight as he looks towards the door, where there are a couple more of Robin's bags and Dominique's baby stroller are waiting for Robin. Adam hates that Robin is moving out of the townhouse because Shane has threatened to sue her for custody of baby Dominique unless she agrees to marry him; he has tried to tell Robin that there is another way out of this, but she is convinced that she must do this for her child.

"I wish you weren't leaving," he admits to her as he moves up to her and grabs her suitcase from her. "There must be another way to get Shane to come around?"

"I wish there was," she looks back at him. "You know that I would rather stay here with you, Adam. But I can't risk losing my child. I have to put Dominique first."

"That's why you're such a great Mom," Adam tells her. "You really are putting her needs before yours."

"After everything I have been through, losing my last daughter, I have to do everything I can to put Dominique first," she whispers back to him. "I know that this hurts, but I have to do it."

Adam moves up to her and kisses her on her lips. "Just know that I love you," he says as their lips part. "I will always love you, Robin."

Robin wipes a tear from her eye. "I know," she tells him. "I love you too. Okay, I should get going," she tells him. "Before, this gets harder."

"Let me help you out?" Adam offers her as he moves to back some of her bags.

"I'd like that," Robin replies to him. "And Adam, for what it's worth, I am sorry that this is happening. I really am."

The Sugarbowl

"I feel like it has been far too long since the two of us have time together," Helen tells Dawn as they sit in the back booth of the coffeehouse with latte's in front of them. "How are you doing? I know you and Cheresa are still getting over Shelley's passing."

"We are," Dawn nods back to her mother before she takes a sip of her drink. "But it has become so much more than just Shelley. It is Brad, Albertinah and now Eva; this person has to be stopped before someone else gets hurt."

"You and Cheresa are far too young to be going through all of this," Helen reaches over and grabs her hand. "So much loss, it's almost too much to bear."

"I am worried about Cheresa," Dawn admits to her. "She has gone through more than I have, with Abby losing Sonny and Chris going to jail. I don't know how much more she can handle."

"Just be there for her," Helen encourages her daughter. "That is what will bring you two even closer together."

Dawn nods back to her. "I just hope that we can get some good news soon," she tells her mother. "I think it is what we all need."

Helen looks back at Dawn and gets a sly grin to her face as she thinks about how Adam and Robin are breaking up, which means that she and Adam have a chance at getting back together. She just hopes that she can reunite with her ex-husband because in her mind, they are meant to be together.

"Well, sweetheart, I just want to let you know that, if everything goes according to plan, I might have some very good news for you soon."

Dawn arches her eyebrow back to her. "Really? Good news about what?"

Helen chuckles back to her. "I don't want to jinx it, let's just say it is something we'd both be thrilled about."

The Victors Mansion

Daisy moves into the living room of the Victors mansion and finds herself moving to the bar to pour herself a drink. She can't stop thinking about the previous night when she and Brett made love again; it was the first time they had been intimate since they were locked in the dungeon at the other Victors mansion when Vinny was holding them hostage. On one hand, she is thrilled that her and Brett have reconnected in this way again but on the other hand she can't help but feel indifferent about it.

She takes a sip of her vodka tonic as she thinks about how Tyler has expressed many concerns about trusting Brett because of Felicia's claims that she saw him in her bedroom. Brett, of course, has denied this and has cited Felicia's history with mental health as the reason that she dreamed him being in her room. Everything that Brett has said has made sense to Daisy, which is why she has moved forward with their romance.

"But," she pauses to herself as she takes another sip of her drink. "There was something different last night with Brett," she tells herself. "I can't place it but making love to him felt different last night but I can't figure out why? Something was different, but what was it?"

The Tower's; Floor Eight; Victoria's Condo

Vinny opens the door to Victoria's condo and quickly moves inside, closing the door behind him quietly. He looks over his shoulder as he creeps through the small hallway and peers into Victoria's bedroom. He can see that she is fast asleep, although she is tossing and turning as she isn't having a restful sleep because she is still reeling from the news of Eva's death.

"I have to do this quickly," he whispers to himself as he moves to her washroom. He closes and locks the door before he turns on the light. He sighs to himself as he knows that Eva's death could be the event that truly makes Victoria believe that she has split again, but for him to make her believe that, he has to increase the dose of drugs that he has been giving her.

He opens the medicine cabinet and finds her aspirin bottle. He grabs it and opens the bottle, removing all the contents into a plastic bag. Then, he removes another bag of pills from his pocket and pours them into the bottle.

"There," he says with a wicked grin on his face. "These pills will increase her dose and she should truly have a breakdown and will think that she has split again."

He shuts the medicine cabinet and unlocks the bathroom door. He slowly opens the door and peers towards Victoria's bedroom; when he doesn't see any movement, he quickly leaves the condo, having not been seen by Victoria.

The Calimo Mansion

"Where is Sophie?" Jacob asks Natasha as he passes her a cup of coffee as she sits on the sofa in the living room of the Calimo mansion. Jacob is there with Robbie and Kim trying to ensure that Natasha is doing okay with the news of Eva's death; they all know how close Natasha was to her mother so they want to try to support her the best way they can.

"She went on a play date," Natasha manages to reply to them. "I didn't think that she would fully understand what happened, so I wanted to give myself time to brace myself for that conversation."

"If you need help with anything, we are all here for you," Kim looks over at her former best friend and tries to smile to her. Kim can't imagine what she is going through right, so she is trying to be there for her sister in law.

"Thanks," Natasha gets tears in her eyes. "You know, the hard thing is that for months last year Mom and I weren't getting along. All of that seems so pointless now; I wish we hadn't wasted that time because now, I can never get it back."

"I felt that way a lot when Dad died," Robbie admits to his sister. "I spent so much time angry and upset with him, especially after the explosion in Lake Tahoe," he continues. "And after he's gone, you realize now that matters. What matters now, Natasha, is that we come together as a family. Kim and I, we are here for you, whatever you need."

"Same with me, Mom," Jacob comes and sits next to her. "We love you."

Natasha lets a tear fall down her cheek. "I don't know what I did to deserve you guys, but I can't get through this without you," she cries as she pulls Jacob into a hug.

The Lawson Estate; Greg, Abby & Cheresa's Home

"I still feel numb," Cheresa admits to Abby as they sit next to one another on the sofa in the living room of the Lawson estate. Just a short while ago, Greg revealed to his youngest daughter that Brooke, their mother, was the Rose Peddle killer meaning she killed Shelley, Brad, Albertinah and Eva. On top of that, Greg revealed that he killed Brooke when she was trying to kill him to keep him quiet after he learned the truth. Cheresa is having a hard time wrapping her head around everything that is going on with her family right now and why Brooke would kill so many people she loves. "This is too much for me to handle."

"I know what you mean," Abby looks back at her. "Do you want some of Dad's scotch? I could use a drink."

"I'd love one."

"You know, before you got home, Dad was talking to me," Abby tells her as she pours two drinks. "He told me how Mom apparently had some kind of mental break after her trial last year and that's when she became this…killer."

"But to kill Brad? Shelley?" Cheresa fights tears in her eyes. "I don't know Abs, this feels like something out of a horror movie."

Abby passes her a drink and sits next to her sister. "Wait, you got home last night? Did you see anything?" Cheresa asks Abby, realizing that Abby might have seen some of what went down between their parents.

Abby pauses for a moment as she tries to think about what happened the previous night but for some reason, she has a blank. She last remembers being at Robertson Enterprises where Donovan revealed to her that he and Lukas didn't want her to be around Olly anymore which was devastating for her. The next thing that she remembers, is waking up on the sofa with Greg looking at her.

"You know it's weird," Abby looks back at her. "I don't remember coming home? I remember leaving Robertson Enterprises and the next thing I remember is waking up on the sofa? It's crazy and I have no idea what happened."

"That is weird," Cheresa nods back to her. "Well, I suppose the good thing is that you weren't hurt. From what Dad was saying, Mom was on a rampage."

"I'm scared Cheresa," Abby admits to her as she grabs her hand. "I'm scared we are going to lose Dad in all of this too; we can't let him go to jail for what he did. We can't lose Brad, Mom and Dad in this mess."

"I can't think about that," Cheresa shakes her head back to Abby. "We have to stay positive. We have no other choice."

Twin Peaks Police Department

"And, that is the full story," Greg tells Simona as he sits across from her desk in her office in the police department. He knows that Abby is the one who really killed Brooke, but she has blacked out the memory because it is too intense for her. He will do anything to protect his daughter, including taking the wrap for Brooke's death. "I found out that Brooke was the killer; she tried to kill me in return, but I was able to fend her off and I killed her in self-defense."

Simona uneasily puts her pen down as she finishes listening to the story that Greg just finished explaining to her. For months she has been trying to solve this case, so for her to have Greg sitting in front of her telling her everything that happened is almost surreal; she is left wondering if she can believe everything he is saying or not. "So, you expect me to believe that Brooke killed her own son on New Year's Eve?"

Greg nods back to her. "She was trying to kill Trenyce Davenport," Greg reminds her. "Brad got in the way. The only death that Brooke caused that she had any remorse for was Brad. She had become unhinged. If you search my storage unit, you will see evidence that Brooke was the killer, Simona. Why would I make this up?"

"I'm trying to figure that out," Simona admits to him. "You claimed you killed Brooke in self-defense, where is her body now?"

"At the morgue," Greg tells her. "I am a doctor, so I had some of my connections take in the body without much fanfare. You're welcome to investigate yourself; she was trying to stab me with an ice pick, but I happened to get it away from her and I stabbed her in the back. Not before she clobbered me good, though," he points to his bandaged head.

"I will look into this Mr. Lawson," Simona stands up and looks at him. "But, in the meantime, I have no choice but to do this."

"Do what? What are you going to do?"

"You're under arrest for the murder of Brooke Lawson," Simona starts to read him his rights.

"No, Simona! It was self-defense, I'm telling you, she was trying to kill me!" Greg protests to her as Simona continues to read him his rights and places Greg in handcuffs.
