The Dockside Storage Units

"Man, I haven't been in here for a very long time," Madeline tells Will as they stand in the middle of the storage locker that belongs to Madeline's family. Olivia and Preston had a storage locker there for years; after they passed and Madeline moved to LA, she just kept paying the monthly bill as she wasn't ready to clear out her family's belongings. Now, however, she wants to see if she can see anything that would give her a clue as to why Clayton Hughes looks like Reese; she doesn't know what she is looking for, but she knows when she finds it, she will know.

"Your family has a lot of stuff," Will looks over at her as he puts his hand on his box. "I don't know that we will have to time to go through all of this. I have to get to the church for Eva's memorial service."

Madeline uneasily nods back at him. "How are you feeling about that?"

Will shrugs back to her. "I knew the family was going to have something, I should have known it would have been sooner rather than later."

"That didn't answer my question."

"I'm not ready to say goodbye," Will admits to her as he gets tears in his eyes. "But I'm going to have too. Somehow, someway, I'm going to have to say goodbye to Eva."

"Come here," Madeline moves up to him and starts to pull him into a hug. As she does, her arm pushes over a box and some belongings fall onto the ground. "Damn it."

"Here, let me help you with that," Will bends down and starts to help Madeline pick up the belongings.

"These are our baby books," Madeline picks up one of the books and opens it. Inside, she sees a picture of Reese as a baby. "He was such a cute baby, huh?"

"Yea, he definitely was," Will agrees with her as he looks over her shoulder.

Madeline turns the page and sees Reese's birth certificate. Immediately she looks at something closer. "I didn't know that Frederick Richardson was my Mom's doctor," she tells Will. "From my understanding, he wasn't exactly an upstanding person."

"I heard that too."

Madeline looks back at him with intent. "I wonder if this is the clue that I was looking for," she whispers back to him. "I wonder if Frederick Richardson is the key to solving this mystery of who Clayton Hughes is."

Riverbench Winery; The Richardson Estate; Santa Barbara

"I haven't been here in so long," Meggan tells Jeff, Leah and Cory as they stand in the living room of the winery. Meggan looks around the room that she grew up and gets so many memories coming flooding back to her. She can still see her mother, father and Lukas spending time in the room together; this was all before her mother passed away unexpectedly. She still longs for those times because they seemed so much simpler. She shakes her head and comes back into present time. "Do you guys want anything? I'm sure I can find some bottles of wine if you'd like? And, don't worry about drinking in front of me; I can have sparkling water."

"I wouldn't turn down some wine," Cory replies to her quickly. "I thought I was going to lose it in the airplane; there was so much turbulence."

"In those smaller planes, you can really feel every bump," Jeff agrees with Cory.

"Okay, I'll head down to the cellar and be right back," Meggan tells them as she scurries out of the living room.

"It has been a long time since I was here," Jeff agrees with Meggan's early statement, recalling how he and Meggan were married here years ago before they discovered that Leah was alive and well. "Seems like a life time ago."

Cory looks over at Leah, who is looking at some of the pictures that are on the large fireplace mantel. Cory looks over and notices that Jeff is also noticing that Leah seems to be in a daze of some kind.

"Hey, Leah," Cory comes up behind his lover and puts his hands on her shoulders. "Are you okay? You're pretty quiet."

Leah turns to him and forces a smile on her face. "Yea, I'm good," she tells him. "I guess, just being back here, it is bringing up so many memories that I hadn't thought about it a very long time."

"Because of your time here with Frederick?" Jeff asks her.

"Exactly," Leah looks over Cory's shoulder and at her ex-husband. "I spent years here."

Before anyone can say anything else, Meggan returns with a bottle of wine. "Okay, I got you a rose cause I thought you could save the red for dinner," she announces to everyone. "Is everything okay?"

"Yea, fine," Cory looks back at her. "Leah was also just saying that she was also having memories of her time here."

"Oh, I can only imagine," Meggan chuckles back to Leah. "This place is magical; memories are made here, that's for sure."

Leah forces another smile on her face as then turns around to face the fireplace, while her three travel guests are opening the wine. Inside her head, the sound of a baby crying becomes louder and louder. She shakes her head quickly, hoping to move the sound out of her head.

"What is wrong with me?" she whispers to herself.

"Leah, would you like a glass of wine?" Cory calls out.

Leah turns around and smiles. "Yea, I'd love one," she says moving up to the group, still hearing the baby crying in her head. She just hopes that socializing and having a glass of wine will help her with the noises she has in her head.

St. Joseph's Church

The church has been transformed into the setting for Eva's memorial service. There is a large golden framed picture of her at the altar of the church; a pearl white with gold trim coffin is next to the picture, with large red roses resting on top of it complete the setting. The coffin is closed because the family couldn't bear to have anyone see Eva after all her injuries; they didn't want anyone to remember her that way.

Daisy moves into the church and takes a deep breath as she looks around. She feels so horribly for Eva's family; she knows all too well what it is like to lose a loved family member. The day and event are bringing up so many memories of when Jemma died; for years, Daisy believed that Jemma was her Aunt but, in fact, she was her mother. Before she was able to reconcile with her, however, Jemma died from injuries she got in the Ice Storm. Daisy shakes her head as she gets tears in her eyes.

"Hey, are you okay?" Vinny comes up behind her and puts his hands on her shoulders.

"I'm fine," she whispers back to him. "It is just bringing up a lot of memories of Jemma and my past."

"That's understandable," Vinny nods back to her. "Just remember that I am here if you need."

"Thanks Brett," Daisy looks back at him as they find their seats. "I guess I'm also still reeling from the headline in this morning's paper."

"You mean that Brooke Lawson was the killer?" Vinny asks her as Daisy nods back to him. "I feel the same way. I am just glad that she is gone and can't hurt anyone else."

Daisy bites her lower lip for a moment as she thinks about how she and Brett made love a few nights ago but something felt different for her from the time they made love when they were trapped in the dungeon together. She hasn't been able to place it but it has been weighting on her mind.

"What is it? I can tell that something else is wrong," Vinny looks back at his lover.

"It is about the night we had sex," Daisy looks back into his eyes. "I can't explain it, but it was different than I remember from the first time, Brett. And, it is bugging me that I can't piece it together."

Vinny gulps heavily as he knows that he is still posing as Brett, who died in the explosions last year. He must cover with Daisy, so she doesn't start to clue into the fact that he is really Vinny. "It was different for me too," he tells her.

"Really?"

Vinny nods back to her with a sly grin on his face. "I just chalked it up to the fact that we are free now. Last time, we were being held hostage. I think this time was better because we were just being us, not being held against our will."

Daisy sighs back to him. "Yea, I guess that makes sense. That must be it."

"Dad, I am so sorry," Tyler moves up to Dominick and immediately pulls him into a hug. Tyler knows that he and Dominick haven't been seeing eye to eye lately because of his relationship with Natasha but in Tyler's mind, none of that matters today. He can only imagine what Dominick is going through today. "Can I do anything?"

"I wish I could say that there was something that you could do," Dominick whispers back to his son. "But the sad fact is, there is nothing no one can do. I am just glad that Brooke Lawson is dead because otherwise I would have killed her myself."

They exit their embrace and Tyler looks at his father, who looks exhausted. "I can't believe that Greg killed her in self-defense. She must have really lost it. And, just know that I am here, Dad. I'm not going to let you go through this alone."

Dominick manages to put a smile on his face at his sons' words. "I appreciate that son," Dominick tells him, as he looks over to the entry way of the church and sees Natasha, Robbie, Kim and Jacob moving inside. Dominick looks back at Tyler immediately. "You know, I think I might have been too hard on you for seeing Natasha. Life is so short, son. If she makes you happy, then be with her. I just want you to be happy."

Tyler gets tears in his eyes as he looks back and sees Natasha. "Do you mind if I go see her?"

"Of course not," Dominick gets water in his eyes. "Like I said, be happy Tyler. That's all I want for my children."

"Wow, the church does look beautiful," Natasha gasps as she moves inside and sees the altar set up for the upcoming service.

"I agree, they did a wonderful job," Robbie moves up behind his sister. "Are you going to be okay, sis?"

"I'm trying," Natasha turns to him with tears in her eyes. "I don't know how I am going to say goodbye to my Mom, but I don't have a choice. It is also difficult knowing that Brooke Lawson won't spend any time in jail."

Robbie looks back at her, knowing how stunned he was to find out that Brooke was the killer. He spent so much time with her, including in her bed, he can't believe that she snapped and started killing multiple people, including Eva. He thought he knew her so well but obviously he didn't; he can't help but feel like a fool for trusting her for so long. "We are all stunned by Brooke being revealed as the killer, that's for sure."

"We are right here for you," Kim tells her as she grabs her hand. "You're not alone in this, Natasha. Remember that, okay?"

Natasha lets a tear fall down her cheek as she looks back at Robbie and Kim. "I am so sorry for everything I did leading up to your wedding," she gasps back to them. "I was wrong and you guys are proving to me what family is all about, so thank you."

"Of course, Nat," Robbie pulls her into a hug. "We are here for you, now and always."

"Jacob," a voice calls out to the younger man, who stands up from taking a sip of water from the water fountain. He turns around and sees Paige moving towards him, putting a piece of hair behind her ear. He looks at his former fiancé and feels his heart skip a beat at the sight of her; she still takes his breath away, even though they aren't together right now.

"Paige, hi," he manages to say back to her.

"I just wanted to come up and tell you how sorry I am about your Grandma," Paige tells him. "I know that I ended things with us but don't think I don't care."

"I never thought that Paige," he quickly replies to her. "I know why you ended things. In any event, I really appreciate you stopping by. Today will be tough for my family and I, so I thank you for wishing us well."

"Of course," Paige grabs his hand and squeezes it. "I'll always be here for you."

Jacob looks over her shoulder and sighs heavily. Paige turns and sees Abby walking into the church. "I still can't believe that Brooke was the killer," Paige tells him. "I feel so bad for Abby."

Jacob shakes his head back to her. "I can't deal with that today," he admits to her. "I have to stay strong for my Mom and my family. But yea, I can't believe Brooke snapped like that. She's a monster and she hurt so many people."

Donovan stands on the altar reading out his speech about Eva into the crowd. He peers into the crowd and can see Natasha, who has already spoke and Victoria, who is crying. Next to his sister is Lukas, who is nodding back in support of his husband.

"The thing about my mother," Donovan says as he gets choked up. "Is that she loved everyone. She didn't have a mean bone in her body. She just wanted her family to be loved and safe. And, the worst part is, I was her son and I didn't keep her safe. Instead, she was brutally," he gasps for some air as he thinks about how Brooke stabbed his mother multiple times. "Killed. And, I did nothing to save her. God, how can she ever forgive me?"

In the pew, Victoria continues to weep as she listens to her brother speak. She looks up and suddenly she gasps out loud as she can see Brandy standing behind Donovan! In her hand, there is a long, sharp knife.

Victoria shakes her head back and forth in horror. "No!" she suddenly screams out loud, as everyone in the audience looks at her surprise. "She, she has a knife! Donovan please, look out!"

Donovan turns around and doesn't see anything or anyone standing behind him. He looks back and rushes towards Victoria, who has more tears flowing from her eyes.

"Vic, hey, are you okay?" Donovan asks him, as Vinny looks on with a sly grin on his face as he knows he recently increased the dose of the drugs he has been giving her.

A shaky Victoria looks back at Donovan and shakes her head back to him. "Bbbbrandy," she stutters. "She was standing behind you, she was going to stab you!"

"Vic, Brandy isn't here. You have to believe me, okay?" Donovan tries to calm her down, as Natasha and Kim look at one another in concern. "Come on, let's get out of here, okay?"

Victoria tries to stand up, but she sees everyone in attendance looking at her in concern. "Stop looking at me like that!" she screams out in horror. "I am fine! I am perfectly fine!"

Donovan continues to move Victoria through the pews, as people watch her have a mental break down.

In the last pew of the church, Abby sits and watches everything unfold in front of her. She wasn't going to come to the church today, but she felt like she owed it to Eva's family to show up out of respect. She has felt the citizens eyes on her as she knows that the Sun ran an article about Brooke being the killer this morning; still, she feels like she owed it to everyone to make an appearance.

She turns and sees a distraught Donovan helping Victoria out of the church and suddenly she closes her eyes. In front of her she can see Brooke laying on the ground in foyer of the Lawson estate, with a large ice pick in her back.

Suddenly, she opens her eyes again and gasps out loud. "What was that?" she asks herself, confused by what she just seemingly remembered.
