The Lawson Estate; Greg, Abby & Cheresa's Home

Abby rushes into the foyer of the mansion of the Lawson estate and immediately feels confused by what she sees: Greg is laying on the ground with a large, bleeding, wound on his head and Brooke is standing over him with a paper weight in her hand.

"Mom?" Abby asks her, unaware of what is happening. Abby is already feeling distraught as Donovan just finished telling her that he and Lukas want her to stay away from Olly; she feels completely gutted by their decision as Olly brings her such a sense of comfort and stability. Now, she sees her mother standing over her father, looking like she just attacked him. "What the hell is going on?"

Abby looks over to her left and sees the ice pick on the ground. She looks back at Brooke, who is slowly walking towards her with a wicked desperation in her eyes.

The next thing Abby knows, she is waking up on the sofa in the living room and Greg is with her. "I killed Brooke in self-defense," he tells his daughter, who gasps back at him in shock and horror at the words that keep replaying over and over.

"I don't understand any of this," Abby cries back to Greg. "I don't understand what is happening!"

Suddenly, Abby sits up straight in her bed with fresh beads of sweat on her forehead. She looks around as she tries to catch her breath, coming out of her dream state. She realizes that she is back in her bedroom before she falls back into her pillows.

"What do these dreams mean?" she asks herself as she tries to get her heartrate back under control. "Why am I dreaming about this?"

Robertson Enterprises

"I'm glad you could all make it this morning," Tyler stands up from behind the main desk in Dominick's office and sees Robin, Leah, Jeff, Donovan and Trenyce all in his office. He is about to announce that he is taking over as CEO for Dominick, who wants to step down in the wake of Eva's passing. Tyler, however, also wants to start quickly by putting his own stamp on the company. "We have a couple of announcements to make this morning."

Leah uneasily takes a sip of her coffee as she can't believe that Dominick put Tyler in charge of the company over her; she had hoped that when her father finally stepped down, he would appoint her as the CEO of the company since she is the oldest child and she has working at the company the longest. The fact that he overlooked her for Tyler is a low blow.

"My father has decided to step down from CEO of the company," Tyler reveals to everyone as the crowd starts to murmur in shock at the news. "He has appointment me the new CEO; he will still be a part of the company, but I will oversee the day to day."

"Congratulations," Trenyce comes up and hugs her friend. "I know how hard you've worked for this."

"Yes, congratulations Tyler," Donovan shakes his hand next.

"Thank you everyone," Tyler smiles back to them. "That is just the first news I have this morning."

"What else do you want to share?" Jeff asks him next.

"The next chapter of Robertson Enterprises," Tyler tells everyone. "It is about to start with me leading this company and I want it to be bigger and bolder than ever before. I want each of you to put your thinking caps on and come back to me with some new ideas and concepts that will really push Robertson into the future and into this new era."

"That sounds exciting," Trenyce looks over at her team. "I like this!"

"Good," Tyler chuckles back to her. "Because, I am expecting great things from this team. Anything else would be unacceptable."

Roboto

"I saw Greg yesterday morning," Kim reveals to Robbie as they sit next to one another on the sofa in the main office of Roboto. Kim recalls how she visited her former lover who has been arrested for killing Brooke; she wanted to tell her husband before he found out from someone else.

"How is he doing?" Robbie turns and asks his wife. "I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that Brooke was the Rose Peddle killer. I spent so much time with her; part of me thinks that I should have known something was off with her."

"You had no idea," Kim puts her hand on his leg. "By the time she had her mental snap, you and her were long over. None of this is your fault."

"I appreciate that," Robbie smiles back to her. "I just wish there was something I could have done. It could have prevented so much hurt and pain. Now, Cheresa, Abby and Greg are dealing with the fallout, not to mention everyone mourning from the victims that Brooke killed."

"I know this is a crazy change of conversation," Kim uneasily chuckles back to him. "But I also saw Cheresa yesterday. Like you said, she is going through a difficult time. But…"

"But?" Robbie asks her back. "What are you thinking, Kim?"

"Just when I was talking to her I couldn't help but notice how beautiful she actually is," Kim notes back to him. "I know that she doesn't have any experience as a model, but I couldn't help but think she might be perfect for Roboto; she could be the model that gives us that fresh look that I think we so desperately need."

Robbie arches his eyebrow back to her. "That's interesting," he agrees with her. "Do you think she'd be interested?"

Kim chuckles back to him. "I have no idea but there's only way to find out?"

The Pampa Grill

"Well, when you said you wanted to have another date soon, I certainly didn't think it was going to be for breakfast today," Paige giggles back to Max as they sit across from one another at a table in the corner of the restaurant. She was pleasantly surprised to wake up to a text from Max asking her to join him for breakfast this morning; at first, she was skeptical to go because she knows that they are supposed to be just friends but she found herself agreeing to the breakfast meeting and Leah agreed to fill her in on the meeting that is happening at Robertson Enterprises.

"I hope you're not complaining about it?" Max asks as he takes a sip of his coffee and looks back at her.

"Of course not," Paige replies to him. "I actually had a really good time the other night. I was looking forward to spending more time with you."

"I'm glad," Max winks back to her. "Because, you know that I never stopped caring about you, Paige. I am hoping that by spending time together you realize that."

Paige smiles back to him. "I know how you feel," she nods back to him. "I am just hoping that you won't push pressure on me; I am still getting over this separation from Jacob and I am just looking to enjoy myself."

"I completely understand," he reaches over and grabs her hand. "I am here for you, in any way that you need, Paige. Just know that I care, very much."

At the entry way of the restaurant, Jacob stands looking at Max holding Paige's hand and feels his blood boil. He hates that Paige is spending so much time with Max; first he saw them share a kiss and now they are holding hands; he still feels like Max knew about Cassie stealing money from Roboto and Robertson Enterprises, he just has to prove it.

"If he's here with Paige, I could get back to his place and look around some more. I know he has something on Cassie; I just have to find it," he whispers to himself as he quickly leaves the restaurant, knowing that he has to prove that Max is up to no good to get Paige back.

At another table, Chris sits with Andrew and Daisy as he just finished telling them about how Trenyce revealed to him that she slept with Brad while he was in jail and now, she is pregnant with his child. Chris is stunned that Trenyce was unfaithful with Brad, again, and is now carrying his child. He doesn't know what to do but he feels gutted by her revelation.

"I could tell that something else was going on with my niece," Daisy tells the men that she is sitting with, thinking about some of her recent conversations with Trenyce. "I still had no idea that she was pregnant with Brad's child."

"She only confessed this to me recently," Andrew reveals to Daisy and Chris. "I told her that she had to tell you, Chris, sooner than later. I know that she has been struggling with the fact that Brad died and now she is carrying his child."

"It just sucks," Chris admits to them. "Before I went to jail, I proposed to her thinking that we were back on solid ground. To know that she slept with him, again, while I was away…man, I don't know what to do."

"I think there's only one thing you can do," Andrew looks back at him with intent. "And that is to put the baby first. Trenyce made a mistake but this baby is still a gift; trust me when I say I learned my lesson about that the hard way."

"You mean Sonny?" Daisy asks him as Andrew nods back to her. "I agree with Andrew," she looks back at Chris. "Trenyce is about to be a single Mom. We have to help her and put the baby first."

Chris uneasily nods back to them, wondering if he can put another man's child in front of his own, selfish needs.

The Dockside Storage Lockers

"So, what exactly are we looking for?" Andy asks Madeline as he opens another box that is in the Lawson storage locker. He recalls how Madeline told him that she found Reese's birth certificate and it showed that Olivia's delivery doctor was Frederick Richardson; since she knows that Frederick was an evil man, she has since been wondering if he did something do to Clayton once he was born. Madeline knows that it is a long shot, but she can't help but wonder if Olivia gave birth to a third baby and did something to prevent him from being raised with her and Reese. If this is the case, then she has another brother in Clayton and she needs to know for sure if this is true or not.

"I don't know," Madeline looks up from another box of items that she is going through. "But, when I see it, I will know it."

"I thought you said Will was going to help us with the search?" Andy chuckles back to her. "There are so many boxes here, we could use the extra help."

"He is going to come," Madeline nods back to him. "He wanted to stop by Eva's gravesite and leave some flowers."

"That makes sense," Andy tells her as he removes an old leather casing. "What is this?"

Madeline looks over at the leather casing. "It looks like my Mom's old note pad," Madeline moves over to him. She takes the object from him and opens it. She looks at some of the paper work and then gasps out loud. "Look at this," Madeline shows Andy. "This is from the 80's, before Reese and I were born."

"What is it?"

"A newspaper clipping showing that my Mom got the head physiatrist position at Saint Francis memorial hospital in San Francisco," Madeline shows him the clipping. "And look, she points to some of the wording: among some of the doctors she beat out for the position was none other than Frederick Richardson."

Andy and Madeline look at one another one surprise. "So, this is the connection that you were looking for? You think that Frederick was upset with Olivia because she got this job over?"

Madeline shrugs her shoulders back to him. "I don't know, but it certainly is a possibility. Given what we know about Frederick, I'd say anything is possible."

One Day House

Nicholas looks at the stack of paper work on his desk and takes a deep breath as he pulls the first file closer to him. While he enjoys his work at the One Day House, he can't help but realize there is a lot on his plate at any given time. And, he also knows that his mind is currently not on the work. He can't stop thinking about the previous day when he and Andy seemingly shared a kiss at the coffeehouse and now, he hopes, that they can get back together since they have been estranged since he kept the fact that Clayton wasstaying at the One Day House for so long.

"I hope you can forgive me Andy," Nicholas whispers to himself. "Because, I would like nothing more but to get back in your good graces."

"I hope I'm not interrupting," a voice calls out the doorway to his office. Nicholas looks up and is surprised to see Clayton standing there.

"Clayton," Nicholas stands up from his chair behind his desk. "This is a surprise, what brings you by?"

"I hope you don't mind me stopping by," Clayton moves closer to him. "But I just got offered the job at the Sugarbowl and I wanted someone to tell."

"You did?" Nicholas smiles back to him. "That is great news, congratulations!"

"Thank you," Clayton smiles to him. "I took your advice and thought that it would be a good way for me to make some money while Madeline looks into my connection with her brother."

"Yea, I couldn't agree more," Nicholas moves closer to him. "Like I said, I'm really happy for you. Congratulations, again, Clayton."

"You're such a nice guy," Clayton replies to him immediately. "Andy is lucky to have you."

Nicholas chuckles back to him. "Well, that's a long story but thank you."

"Oh, do you want to talk about it?"

"Nah, it's okay," Nicholas looks back at him. "I appreciate your kindness."

Clayton moves up to him and rests his hand on Nicholas' chest. "Anytime," he licks his lips. "And for the record, if Andy isn't interested anymore, I would be happy to take over," he says before he leans up and kisses Nicholas on the lips.

The kiss only lasts for a moment before Nicholas pulls back. "Clayton…I…"

"No, I get it," Clayton tells him quickly. "You're with Andy. I am sorry that I overstepped."

Robertson Enterprises

"So, the rumors are true," Felicia smiles as she moves into the main office at Robertson Enterprises and sees Tyler sitting behind the desk. Felicia moves in and feels a sense of pride at the sight of her son behind the desk of the major corporation. As she places her purse on the sofa, she notices her shaking hand but tries to keep it under control; the last thing she needs is for Tyler to be worried about her and her shaking hand.

"Yes, they are," Tyler stands up and moves over to hug his mother. "Dad made me the CEO yesterday."

"Congratulations darling," Felicia tells him as she kisses his cheek. "I am so proud of you."

"Thank you," Tyler replies to her quickly. "I must admit, I was surprised. His decision to step down came out of no-where."

"I think Eva's death is hitting him harder than he is letting on," Felicia says back to him. "I stopped by the townhouse the other day to see him and he told me to leave him alone."

"He told me about that," Tyler looks back at her. "How are you feeling about that? He was worried he hurt your feelings."

"My feelings don't matter right now," Felicia tells him. "I am worried about Dominick; we have to make sure he pulls through this dark time."

"I couldn't agree more," Tyler agrees with his mother. "We will pull together and get through this, I know we will."

"I hope so," Felicia moves up and hugs her son again, looking at her shaking hand as she does so. "We have to get this family under control before anything else can happen to us."

The Park

Dominick slowly walks through the park trying to clear his head from everything that has happened lately. He still is having a difficult time accepting that Eva is truly gone; he can't believe that Brooke Lawson stabbed his precious wife multiple times that resulted in her death. The fact that he and Eva were at odds when she passed away is making Dominick feel like he was not a good husband; he wishes that he would have made up with his wife before she died. Now, he will never get to tell her that, despite everything, he still cared very much for her. How could he not, considering how long they were together and everything they went through to be together.

"Oh Eva," Dominick whispers to himself. "How am I going to move on without you? How am I going to forgive myself for being so cold to you these last few months?"

As he continues to walk through the park, he realizes that he was as much to blame for Eva's affair with Will as she was; he was putting a lot of attention on Felicia and his company. It is no wonder Eva looked for attention elsewhere, he wasn't giving her everything she needed.

"That is something I will have to come to terms with," he sighs back to himself. "And, I've at least stepped down from Robertson now. That was the best decision I could have made; I can't go back and change the past, but I can change my future."

He pauses on the trail and looks at the bench that is overlooking the river, seeing Abby sit by herself watching the water rush by her. He recalls how he recently had a drink with the younger woman at the Pampa Grill and they seemingly shared a nice moment because he told her that he didn't hold it against her for Brooke's actions towards ending Eva's life. Dominick realizes that he could be made at the entire Lawson family, but that wouldn't be fair to anyone.

He finds himself moving closer to the bench. "Abigail? What are you doing out here all by yourself?"

Abby turns and looks at Dominick with tears in her eyes. "Oh my, why the tears?" Dominick asks as he sits next to her and Abby immediately puts her arms around him and starts to weep. "It's okay, let it out. Let the tears out," he whispers to her as he holds the younger woman, who is finally releasing all the emotions that she has had inside her since last November when Sonny died.
