Twin Peaks Law Courts

"I am not amused right now," Judge Franklin Ross announces to the court room as Abby just recounted how she regained her memory and that she is the one, not Greg, killed Brooke in self-defense. Franklin is now left feeling that Lawson family has wasted the courts time completely. "For you, Abigail Lawson, to suddenly have these memories return at the eleventh hour and claim to have killed your mother in self-defense is completely unacceptable. Mr. Lawson, I'm going to ask you, again, why did you claim to be the one to have killed your wife?"

Greg gulps heavily as he looks at Josh. He slowly stands up and looks at the Judge. "I am so sorry, your honor," Greg finally replies to him. "I … I did lie but you have to understand!"

"I understand that you were under oath in my court room and you admitted to killing your wife! And now, you're standing here and telling me that you lied!" Franklin grits his teeth together as he feels his blood boil.

"I did it for my child," Greg replies to him quickly. "Abby, she's been to hell and back the last few months. You see, last November, her son Sonny died; then we dealt with the death's of Shelley and Brad; Abby was also the one that found Albertinah's dead body. I didn't want her to suffer with another painful moment in her life. So, in the morning when Abby had clearly blocked out the memories of killing Brooke from her mind, I lied to protect her. Surely, as a father yourself, you can understand why I did what I did?"

Abby looks at her father and lets another tear fall down her cheek as she listens to why Greg lied to everyone. "Oh Daddy," she rushes up to him and hugs him. "Thank you. But, I have to take responsibility for my actions. I have too."

"Enough!" Franklin yells in the court room. "This is my court room and I will decide how this will end, is that understood?"

Twin Peaks General Hospital

"I didn't realize you got a job here," Trenyce says as she sits in a hospital room waiting for some of her test results to come back. She looks over at Madeline, who is reviewing her chart. "It's nice to have a friendly face as my doctor."

Madeline looks back at her. "I actually just got the position," she reveals to her. "I thought since I am staying in Twin Peaks for a while longer, I should get a job and work. While I was away, I went to medical school. Shane was happy to give me position here."

"That's great to hear," Trenyce nods back to her. "So, please tell me that my test results came back okay? There's nothing wrong with the baby?"

"I need you to stay calm," Madeline replies to her quickly. "The baby is fine."

"Why do I get the feeling that there is a but coming?"

"But," Madeline smiles back to her. "Your blood pressure is higher than it should be. This can be a sign that the second half of your pregnancy could be higher risk."

"What does that mean? What do I have to do?" Trenyce asks her putting her hand on her stomach.

"Try to consume less sweets, no chocolate, stuff like that," Madeline tells her. "And, above else, avoid stress. We don't need your blood pressure to spike at all."

"Okay," Trenyce nods back to her. "Noted, I will do all of that because nothing can happen to my baby."

"Stick with me and I'll make sure you deliver a happy and healthy little one," Madeline smiles back to her.

The Calimo Mansion

"I can't believe that Clayton is really Olivia and Preston's long lost son," Kim shakes her head back to Andy as she moves to the terrace with a pitcher of iced tea. She sets the jug down on the patio table that overlooks the rose garden on the estate of the Calimo mansion. She pours two glasses and passes one over to her brother, as he just finished telling her that Clayton is really a Wilkins. "How did Madeline take the news? How did Clayton? And more importantly, how are you taking the news?"

Andy sighs before he picks up the iced tea and takes a sip of it. "I am still reeling from this news," Andy admits to her. "I can't believe that Reese and Madeline have a triplet and he is a dead ringer for Reese."

"Does it feel like Reese is back in your life now?"

Andy shrugs back to her. "Clayton admitted to me that he is gay too," he reveals to Kim. "He says it is why it was so hard for him to pretend to be Reese last year; he felt an attraction to me."

"This just keeps getting wilder," Kim takes a sip of her iced tea. "Reese has a twin brother and he is also gay? What are the odds of all this? What are you going to do now, Andy?"

"The only thing I can do," Andy looks back at her. "Support Clayton in any way that I can. He just found out he has this family, most of whom have died. His mind is probably racing and I just want to help him."

"Do you think you can that is a good idea? You loved Reese with every fiber of your being Andy and now his brother is in town and admitted he is attracted to you."

"I know it is complicated but I am in love with Nicholas."

Kim sighs back to him. "Please promise me that you'll be careful," Kim looks at her brother. "Because, from where I am sitting, this could get messy Andy, and I don't want you to get hurt."

The Sugarbowl

"Here is your latte," Clayton announces to Nicholas as he approaches the back booth of the coffeehouse and sits the drink down on the table.

"Clayton, thank you," Nicholas looks up from his phone. "Do you have a minute? We could catch up?"

Clayton looks over his shoulder and doesn't see a huge line up waiting for him so he nods and takes a seat across from Nicholas. "Just a minute; I'm the only one on shift right now."

"How are you feeling?" Nicholas asks him before he takes a sip of his latte. "Andy told me about the DNA results."

Clayton get a sly grin on his face. "Honestly, it's a whirlwind right now. I have so many thoughts and feelings that I don't even know how to process them."

"I can understand that," Nicholas looks back at him. "Just remember to breathe, okay? The last thing that you need is to get overwhelmed by this."

"It's too late for that," Clayton admits to him. "I am overwhelmed. I have this instant family that I knew nothing about. And, my brother was married to Andy, who I tormented last year. I… I don't know."

Nicholas reaches over and grabs Clayton's hand. "Don't beat yourself up, okay? You're just as much of a victim in all this as Andy and Madeline. Now, it is the time for everyone to try to heal."

Clayton looks at Nicholas' hand that is resting on his and smiles back to him. "Thanks, I should get back to work."

"Okay, but you're not alone in this, okay? I'm here for you, anything you need."

"I'll keep that in mind."

The Pampa Grill

"Hey, I'm sorry that I am late, I had a last minute appointment at the hospital," Madeline announces to Jeff as she sits across from him at a table in the restaurant.

Jeff looks back at her and smiles. He looks over her shoulder and can see Meggan sitting at another table with Daisy and Will is alone at the bar. He is thrilled that both Meggan and Will are at the restaurant because it means that their plan to try to make them jealous by pretending to be dating one another could start to work.

"It's no worries at all," Jeff replies to her quickly. "I am proud that you have been able to get a job here. I think it's great."

"I see you ordered some wine, that is amazing, I would love a glass."

Jeff starts to pour two glasses of the pinot noir on the table and then looks back at Madeline. "We have to make this moment count," he tells her. "Both Meggan and Will are here tonight."

Madeline smiles back to him. "Really?" she feels excited by his words. "Then why don't you lean over and give me a kiss?"

Jeff chuckles back to her. "You don't think it's too much too soon?"

"Unless you don't want to make them jealous?"

"I do," Jeff licks his lips and leans over and gives Madeline a passionate kiss on the lips.

Will sits alone at the bar with a beer in front of him. He can't stop thinking about Eva and how just when they were going to try to be together, she was ripped away from him. He still feels gutted that she is dead; he can't believe that she is really gone. This entire nightmare still feels surreal to him.

"Somehow, someway, I have to find a way to move on," he whispers to himself as he takes a sip of his beer. "I know that you would want me to do that, Eva."

He pauses and thinks about how Madeline gave him a kiss recently. He knows that he is no way ready to have that type of interaction with another woman but he can't help but think about it. He never thought that he and Madeline would ever get back to a place where they would be kissing again, not after everything that happened with them in the past.

He turns his head and happens to see Jeff and Madeline in a lip lock which stuns him. The last thing he expected to see was the two of them sharing a kiss.

He turns back around and picks up his beer, already wondering if the ship has already sailed with Madeline.

"I haven't been able to think about anything but your hunch," Daisy admits to Meggan as they sit across from one another at another table in the restaurant. Daisy can't help but recall how the last time she saw her half-sister, she suggested that the reason that the reason that Brett isn't acting like himself is because maybe it isn't really Brett at all. Daisy has no idea if this could be true but the idea that Brett is really Vinny scares her to her very core; how could she have been fooled if this is true? "Do you still think that Vinny could be alive and posing as Brett?"

"I have no idea," Meggan takes a sip of her sparkling water, as she notices Jeff and Madeline sitting together at another table. She turns her attention back to Daisy despite feeling some butterflies in her stomach at the sight of Jeff with his ex-girlfriend. "But, it would certainly make sense as to why we believe Brett has been acting weird."

"But, if this is true," Daisy replies to her quickly. "It would mean that Brett actually died in the explosions last year and Vinny has been posing as him ever since."

"And, that would be farfetched? Let's remember that Vinny held you and Brett hostage for months. He would have known that after the explosions that he would be arrested if Vinny lived."

Daisy uneasily nods back to her. "I guess that's true. The only other thing that discredits this theory is that DNA test that was ran at the hospital," Daisy reminds her. "The test proved that Brett was alive and Vinny had died."

"Vinny has so many connections," Meggan reminds her.

"You think the test was altered?"

"I have no idea," Meggan admits to her. "I think we have to figure this out once and for all. We have to know the truth, Daisy. We really have too. Because, if Vinny is alive and well, then we all could be in serious danger."

Daisy slowly picks up her glass of wine and takes a sip. "Okay, I'm in. Let's try to figure this out, Meggan."

Meggan slowly nods back to her but finds her eyes wandering back to Jeff and Madeline's table, where she spies them sharing a heated kiss. She gulps heavily before she looks back at Daisy. "Perfect, let's try to figure out a way to get to the bottom of this."

Raven's Meadow

Victoria slowly paces back and forth in her small room at Raven's Meadow. Her mind is racing about the fact that she has decided to stop taking her medication because she doesn't believe that she has actually split again. Despite Bryce telling her that she has split, this time feels very different for Victoria. She has no memory loss or time lapses anymore; she wonders if she stops taking her medication, if she will be able to tell if Brandy is really back and taking over her life again.

"The last thing I need," she whispers to herself. "Is for Brandy to be back and taking over my life again. I don't feel differently but I did have that breakdown at Mom's memorial service."

She feels her eyes swell with water thinking about her mother's passing. She hates that she can't be with Donovan right now because they are both still grieving the loss of Eva.

"Soon, I will get out of here and try to make sense of everything that has happened," she tells her. "In the meantime, I have to stick with my plan. I have to make sure that I am truly sick. I have no other options."

Before she can say anything else, there's a knock on her door and a young nurse emerges. "Time for your nightly medication," she smiles as she comes up to Victoria with a small paper cup and a cup of water. "I'll be back in a few minutes to collect your waste."

"Thank you," Victoria nods back to her.

As soon as the door is closed again, Victoria empties the pills from the cup and puts them under her pillow. She then drinks all the water. Within a few minutes, the nurse reappears and Victoria passes her the waste.

"Thanks again," Victoria smiles to her. "Have a good night."

"You too, try to get some sleep."

"I will," Victoria replies to her. "I think I will sleep better tonight than I have in a long time."

Twin Peaks Law Courts

"Judge Ross," Lois Kam stands up and looks at Franklin. "Based on these turn of events, I'm asking that the court put both Abigail and Greg Lawson in jail for obstruction of justice and manslaughter. This is being more than fair."

"Sit down Ms. Kam," Franklin snaps at her. "This is my court room, I will make the final decision."

"Yes, your honor," Lois sits down as she puts her tail between her legs. She just hopes that the Judge is fair and sends both of the Lawson's to jail for many months.

"Greg Lawson, please stand up," Franklin demands, as Greg slowly stands up and looks back at him. "You have lied under oath, lied to the court and wasted the courts time," he sternly tells him. "That being said, I understand that you wanted to protect your child. But, I will not allow you to get away with lying to the court. You are sentenced to pay the court $50,000 in fines."

Greg nods back to him before Franklin turns his head to Abby. "And you, young lady," he sternly looks at her, as she tries to control her weeping. "It is very clear that you have had a rough last few months. For you to walk into the scene of your mother about to kill your father; I can only imagine what that would have triggered in you. I am sentencing you to mandatory psychiatric meetings and community service of 100 hours. Court is adjourned!"

The mallet smashes down and Greg rushes up to Abby and pulls her into a hug. "It's over Abby," he whispers in her ear as she continues to weep into his arms. "It's finally over."

Next on One Day at a Time
- Madeline and Clayton have a heart to heart
- Victoria and Bryce continue to grow closer
