One Day House

Andy slowly walks up towards the door to Nicholas' office at the One Day House. He hasn't been able to stop thinking about the conversation he shared with Clayton the previous day when Clayton warned Andy that he will never be Reese. Andy, since then, has felt like he was sucker punched as he never believed that he was protecting his desire to have Reese back onto Clayton. He has wondered why Clayton looks like Reese, but he has always understood that they are two different people.

As he moves into the office, hopes that Nicholas can help make sense of everything that has happened. After getting Clayton to return to Twin Peaks from Nashville, Andy had hoped that they would be able to get answers: since then, they realized that Clayton is a member of the Wilkins family but it seems like it has become even more complicated than before.

"You look super busy," Andy finally says something to his boyfriend. "I can come back later."

"Don't you move a muscle," Nicholas stands up from his desk and moves up to Andy. He gives him a quick peck on the lips. "It is not every day that I get a visit from my boyfriend, what brings you by?"

"I guess we are back on the boyfriend labels, hey?" Andy chuckles back to him. "I'm glad we made it through that tough period."

"We don't have to put a label on it if you don't want too. But, anyways, what brings you by? I am surprised you're not at the paper."

Andy sighs back to him. "I needed a break," he reveals to him. "I couldn't focus on my story for tomorrow's edition."

"Why? What's going on?" Nicholas asks him quickly. "I hope you're okay?"

"I don't know what I am," Andy admits to him. "I saw Clayton yesterday and he really said some harsh things to me. He accused me of wanting him to be Reese, which I don't think I've ever indicated that I believe he is Reese."

Nicholas quickly recalls how he had breakfast with Clayton and he revealed that wants everyone to remember that he is his own man; he feels like since he got involved with Melissa, the only thing people notice about Clayton is that he looks like Reese.

"If you want my honest opinion," Nicholas looks back at him. "It's that all three of you need some adjustment time. This has been such a journey for all of you, from first realizing that Clayton wasn't a ghost, to now uncovering that he is Reese and Madeline's brother; you all just need time to breathe."

"I don't disagree with that," Andy replies to him. "But, I know he isn't Reese. My husband is dead and nothing will ever bring him back."

"I just think Clayton wants everyone to remember that he is his own man."

Andy looks back at Nicholas quickly. "Wait, have you talked to him about this? Did you and Clayton discuss this situation?"

Nicholas runs his hands through his hair. "We might have spoken about it at breakfast, yes."

"What did he say? Why is he acting like this?"

"Andy," Nicholas turns back to face his boyfriend. "I spoke to Clayton as a friend; I am not going to betray his confidence and tell yo uwhat he said to me. That wouldn't be fair to him."

"Oh, so I get to sit here and feel like the bad guy but Clayton can and cry on your shoulder?" Andy huffs back to him. "Why do I get the feeling that you're playing both sides in this?"

"I'm just trying to keep the peace, Andy. I am not taking sides, I want everyone to find peace and a solution."

"Well, it damn well doesn't feel that way!" Andy replies to him quickly. "You know what? Coming here today, it was a mistake. See you around, Nicholas."

Nicholas sighs as Andy storms out of the office. He runs his hands through his hair as wonders if there ever will be a solution in this situation that is quickly escalating into a mess.

Robertson Enterprises

"I was rather excited to hear from you this morning," Tyler tells Cheresa as he welcomes her into his office at Robertson Enterprises. He has been waiting to hear from the younger woman since he presented her with the contract that he offered her to join the company as a model. He realizes that Roboto also offered a similar position, which means he has competition to get her on board. He just hopes that she has made the decision to join Robertson over Roboto. "I have been thinking about our last meeting non-stop."

Cheresa moves inside the office and sits in the chair across from Tyler's desk. "I have a meeting with Roboto as soon I am done here," she reveals to him. "The last thing I wanted was to keep both you and the team at Roboto waiting for an answer."

"That's very nice of you," Tyler replies to her. "I trust that your lawyer reviewed the contracts? He didn't find anything out of the ordinary?"

"No, he didn't," Cheresa says back to him. "Both contracts were really great," she admits to him. "But, after both meetings, I had a gut feeling about which contract I wanted to take. And, after my meeting with Josh, it sort of sealed the deal for me."

Tyler uneasily smiles back to her. "Okay, well, don't keep me waiting," Tyler looks back at her. "Have you decided to join Robertson? Or are you here to let me down gently?"

The Richardson Estate; Meggan, Lukas & Donovan's Home

Donovan moves into the laundry room of the large house that he shares with his husband and sister-in-law and their children. He had to come home early from the office because he spilled coffee on his shirt at work and wanted to change before his next meeting. He stripes off his shirt and moves to put it in the washing machine when he notices some clothing already in the machine. He pulls out a shirt and notices that it is the same work out shirt that Lukas was wearing earlier in the day. He bends down to pull out the next piece of clothing and notices another athletic shirt that he hasn't before. He arches his eyebrow wondering what it is. He starts his laundry before he leaves the room.

He heads back to his room so he can grab a new shirt. Once inside the room, he notices Lukas getting dressed for the day.

"Hey," Donovan says as he closes the door behind himself.

"You're home early?" Lukas turns and smiles at him. "What is the occasion?"

"I spilled coffee all over my shirt," Donovan shakes his head back. "I came home to change, I have to head back because I have a meeting soon."

"I'm sorry to hear that," Lukas replies to him. "I hope your shirt doesn't stain."

"Me too but if it does, it will be my own fault," Donovan pulls out another shirt from closet and takes it off the hanger. "Hey, when I was putting my laundry on, I noticed a different athletic shirt and shorts in the washer. Did you get some new workout gear?"

"No, they are Jasper's," Lukas quickly back to his husband.

Donovan stops buttoning up his shirt and looks back at him in surprise. "Jasper? As in our nanny, Jasper?"

"Yea," Lukas turns and looks at him. "Olly was sleeping and I needed someone to spot me this morning, so we worked out together."

"Is something going on with you and our nanny that I should know about?"

Lukas chuckles back to him before he comes up and runs his hand over Donovan's chest. "Not a single thing," he tells him. "But it's cute that you're jealous."

"I'm not jealous, I'm just surprised, that's all. We hired him to look after our child, not workout with us."

"It's easier to lift weights with a second person, that's all. It's nothing," Lukas tells him.

Donovan arches his eyebrow back to him. "Okay, I'll drop it," Donovan replies to him.

"Since you're home…" Lukas continues to rub Donovan's chest and then kisses him. "Do you have time?"

Donovan kisses him back and grabs Lukas' waist. "I have time to give my husband what he needs."

The Lawson Estate; Greg, Abby & Cheresa's Home

"So, how was your first shift at Raven's Meadow?" Greg asks Abby as they sit together in the living room of their home. He knows that she had her first community service session at the hospital and he is curious about how it went.

"It was alright, I guess," Abby admits to him before she takes a sip of her sparkling water. "I met one of the doctor's there, Bryce Barty. He seems like a nice guy."

Greg arches his eyebrow back to her. "You didn't meet the chief of staff?" he asks her back.

"No, Dr. Barty told me that they are too busy to meet me," Abby reveals to him. "Apparently, I will never meet the Chief of Staff. Dr. Barty told me he would talk to the parole officer about this."

"That's interesting," Greg tells his daughter. "When I ran the hospital, I made sure that I knew everyone that was coming in the hospital. It is apart of running a tight ship."

"I gather that the chief of staff trusts Dr. Barty to handle most of the day to day," Abby says back to him. "Anyways, I thought it was good. I think I will learn a lot while I am there."

"That's really great to hear Abby," Greg smiles back to her. "You know, this is the start of us putting this last year behind us. We have to find a way to move on."

"I know that," Abby nods back to her father. "I haven't been able to stop thinking about our financial situation, though, Dad. I don't want us to go broke. We have worked too hard for that to happen."

"I don't want you to worry about that," Greg tells her. "I will find a new job and go back to work; being a doctor, I'll make a good living."

"It's not the same," Abby sighs back to him. "We've always had this cushion, we've always known that we can handle anything at any time. I don't want that to go away."

"I'm afraid it will once the final payment to the IRS goes through," Greg replies to her. "We just have to make some adjustments. It will be different for us, but we can survive."

Abby shakes her head back to him. "I have an idea," she reveals to him, thinking about her casual run-in with Dominick the day before. They have seemingly had a few run-in's lately and they have gotten along well. She hasn't been able to get those out of mind. "I might have a way for us to keep our financial stability."

"Abby," Greg looks back at her sternly. "Do not do anything crazy, okay? The last thing we need is to get caught up in a crazy scheme. We have all been through enough these last few months."

Abby uneasily chuckles back to him. "Don't worry Dad," she smiles back to him. "It isn't anything crazy. Just trust me, okay?"

The Glubbs House; Shane & Robin's Home

Robin quickly moves up to the front door of the house that she shares with Shane when she hears the doorbell go off. She opens the door and sees her half-brother standing on the other side of it.

"Nicholas, hi," Robin says as she welcomes him into the foyer.

"Sorry I'm late," he tells her as he moves inside. "I got caught up with something at work."

"It's nothing serious, I hope?" Robin asks him.

Nicholas shakes his head, not wanting to get back into the drama he is going through with Andy and Clayton right now. He knows that he has more important things to discuss with his sister right now.

"Nothing that I can't handle," he smiles back to her. "Besides, you and I have to talk. I can't believe that you are marrying Shane! What the heck is going on?"

Robin uneasily chuckles back to him. "Do you want a glass of wine? I feel like this conversation might need that."

"I'd love one," Nicholas says as they move into the living room. "Is Shane here?"

"He had to work at the hospital," Robin tells him as she pours two glasses of white wine. "And yes, I am marrying Shane, Nicholas. I am doing what I think is best for Dominique."

"I know you Robin," Nicholas takes his wine and then takes a sip of it. "You are in love with Adam. Are you sure that you're ready to put your own feelings aside for Dominique?"

Robin takes a sip of her wine and nods back to him. "This is what is best," she tells him. "My daughter, she almost died when she was born. I have to do everything I can to give her the best life, possible. Shane, he is a good man. He will give me a good life, Nicholas."

"But you don't love him," Nicholas says back to her. "You love Adam, you have for years now."

"And look what happens? Every time Adam and I seem to get back on track, something bad happens. I don't know, Nicholas, I think that Adam and I were cursed from the get go."

"So that's it?" Nicholas asks her in surprise. "You're going to marry Shane despite your feelings for Adam?"

"Yes, I have made my decision," Robin tells him. "I just need you to support me, okay?"

Nicholas grabs her hand. "Of course I support you," he looks into her eyes. "I just want to make sure you know what you're doing because once you take this step, Robin, there is no going back."

The Black House; Helen & Dawn's Home

"It is nice that I get to see you two days in a row," Helen tells Adam as they move into the living room of the house that they lived in for many years. "I hope you took some of what I said to heart?"

Adam sighs back to her and thinks about how she told him that Robin deciding to marry Shane was a sign that they were never meant to be together. He knows that Helen is just trying to help him get through everything, but he is still having a difficult time adjusting to the idea that Robin is going to marry Shane.

"I heard what you said," Adam nods back to her. "I guess it doesn't make this transition period any easier, you know?"

"I can appreciate that," Helen says back to him. "You and Robin were together for a long time, it is only natural to feel that way, Adam."

"I can't tell you how much I appreciate your support, Helen. I just hope that I am not leaning on you too much."

Helen arches her eyebrow back to him. "That's impossible," she tells him. "I am always going to be here for you, Adam, no matter what. You were my husband, the love of my life, you will always have me in your corner."

Adam moves up to her and pulls her into a hug. "I don't deserve you, Helen. You're too good to me."

Helen smiles at his embrace ."Like I said, I'm always here for you Adam. Never, ever forget that."

Roboto

"Cheresa, please come in," Natasha greets the younger woman as she moves into the office and spies Kim and Robbie standing inside. "Can we offer you something to drink? Water, coffee, tea?"

"Oh no, I am okay," Cheresa says back to Natasha. "I am sorry that I am a tad tardy, I was actually meeting with Robertson Enterprises before you guys."

Natasha shoots her brother and his wife a look of concern. "I see."

"I wanted to see you all on the same day since you both offered me positions," Cheresa explains to the Roboto team.

"We are glad that you took some time to review both offers," Robbie tells her. "We wanted you to ensure you could look at both and see which one is best suited for you."

"I really appreciate you guys giving me that time," Cheresa replies to them. "But, I had made my decision."

"Okay," Kim clasps her hands together. "Please, tell us what you've decided? Tell us that you are going to join Roboto?"

"I'm sorry," Cheresa shakes her head back to them. "I truly appreciate that you guys saw something in me, but I have decided to accept the job with Robertson Enterprises. Tyler Robertson accepted my signed contract just a short time ago."

Robbie, Kim and Natasha look at one another in shock and awe as they didn't expect Cheresa to turn them down.

"I don't want to make this anymore awkward than it already is," Cheresa tells everyone as she moves to the door. "So, thank you again. And I hope you find someone else that can fill this role for you."

As soon as the door closes behind Cheresa, Natasha looks at her brother and Kim trying to find the answers about what happened.

"What the hell are we going to do now?" she asks as she puts her hand on her hip. "We were banking on Cheresa helping give Roboto a fresh new look!"

"I have no clue," Robbie sighs as he moves to the bar and pours himself a scotch. "But this is not what I was expecting this morning. Damn Robertson, damn them straight to hell!"

Robertson Enterprises

Tyler moves to the bar and pours himself a brandy. He takes a long sip of it and gets a smile on his face.

"Cheresa is going to help me take Robertson to the next level," he whispers to himself. He is beyond thrilled that Cheresa accepted his contract earlier in the day. He knows that she is about to deliver the bad news to the Roboto team, including Natasha but he can't worry about his girlfriend's reaction right now. He is too happy that he secured the contract.

"Sorry Roboto, but Robertson wins again."

Meanwhile, down in the studio, Jacob looks back at Paige and , who were just embracing in the room. He can't believe that Max has seemingly been able tMaxo talk his way out of knowing Cassie is alive with Paige; the fact that Paige has forgiven him for lying about Cassie being alive, especially considering she tried to kill them both last year, is something he can't even comprend.

"I have made sure that you will pay for what you've done," Jacob grits his teeth back to Max. "You won't get away for lying about your mother being alive. That psycho tried to kill me, she will pay for that!"

"You need to go to a therapist man," Max rolls his eyes back to him. "You harbouring these feelings isn't good for you."

"Stop bickering!" Paige yells at them in frustration. "You two are relentless, you know that? Jacob, what do you mean that Max will pay? What did you do?"

Jacob gets a sly grin on his face. "I thought you'd never ask," he reveals to them. "Someone is here to see you, Max. And, you're going to be thrilled to see her."

Before Max or Paige can reply, the door to the studio opens and Simona enters the room.

"Detective Lopez," Max nervously says to the police officer. "What are you doing here?"

"Hello," Simona smiles back to everyone. "I am here because Jacob gave me some very interesting information."

"You went the police?" Paige gasps as she looks at Jacob in shock. "Jacob, what were you thinking?"

"Mr. Black, I believe you and I need to have a discussion," Simona looks at Max. "Do you have any idea where your mother is? You lead us and everyone to believe that she was dead."

Max gulps heavily. "I…uh…I don't know where she is," he tells her. "But, yes, she is alive."

Simona uneasily nods back to him. "That's what I thought," she says as she moves up to him.

"Simona, what's going on? What are you going to do?" Paige asks her as Jacob watches in glee.

"Max Black," Simona approaches Max. "You're under arrest for harbouring a fugitive," she continues as she puts handcuffs on his wrists and Paige covers her mouth in shock. "Anything you say can and will be used you in a court of law."
