Theme song: "Heart of Glass" Mylie Cyrus
"Tell million dollars?" a flabbergasted Natasha stands up from the sofa in the main office of Roboto and moves to the bar to pour herself a stiff drink. She and Kim were silent while Robbie called Tara, the woman who has kidnapped Cheresa, and she suggested that she wanted 10 million dollars in order to have Cheresa returned safely. In Natasha's mind, this mess keeps getting worse as she knows that company can't afford to lose 10 million dollars but they all want Cheresa returned home safely, and as quickly as possible. "I can't believe this woman wants that much money."
"I don't know what other option we have," Robbie sighs back to her as he stands up from behind the desk. "If we don't give Tara what she wants, I don't know what she will do to Cheresa. We can't risk anything bad happening to her."
"You have really gotten us into a mess this time, Robbie," Natasha glares back at him as she takes a sip of her scotch. "Where in the hell are we going to get 10 million dollars? We certainly can't take it from the company; we are already pressed for capital since Cassie stole that money from us last year!"
"I will take it from various personal accounts," Robbie tells her. "I'm the one that started this, I'm the one that will finish it."
Natasha looks back at the sofa where Kim is sitting quietly. She looks at her sister in law, who appears to be deep in thought. "Kim, what's on your mind? You're pretty quiet."
Kim looks back at her sister in law and then at her husband before she slowly stands up and puts her hand on her growing stomach. "I was just thinking about the phone call with Tara," she admits to her. "There is something that I can't get out of my head."
Robbie arches his eyebrow. "What is it Kim? Did you hear something that might be a giveaway as to where Cheresa is?"
"You know where Cheresa is?" a stunned Greg asks as he opens the door to the office and moves inside. "Where is my daughter? Tell me everything right you know, right now!"
The Pampa Grill
Meggan moves into the restaurant as she has ordered some takeout for herself. She still has a million things to do at the office, and she is awaiting a call from Daisy for an update on the Vinny situation, so she is going to take her dinner back to MWI and work away. As she moves to the bar to pick up her order, she notices Will sitting by himself with a beer in front of him. Immediately, she thinks back to overhearing Will and Madeline agree to date one another, which was odd to her because she recently witnessed Jeff and Madeline sharing a kiss. When confronted Jeff about this, he admitted to her that he was dating Madeline to try to make her jealous. Meggan was livid and threw him out of her office.
"Evening Will," Meggan says as she moves up to the bar. "How are you tonight?"
"Meggan, hey," Will looks back at her. "I haven't seen you in a long time."
"That is very true," Meggan replies to him. "I know losing Eva must not have been easy for you. How are you coping?"
"It has been incredibly hard," Will nods back to her. "But you know, time heals all wounds. I am starting to feel like I can move on with my life."
"Does that mean that someone special is in your life?"
"Funny you should ask that," Will chuckles back to her. "Madeline and I just agreed to go out with one another. So, there might be someone special. It is still pretty new, but I am excited by the idea."
Meggan uneasily nods back to him. "You know, that's interesting," she tells him. "Because, a few weeks ago, I saw her and Jeff kissing one another."
"Yea, I happen to see that too. I guess they weren't serious?"
"No, they weren't," Meggan replies to him as she grabs her order from the bartender. "Because Jeff told me that they were pretending to date one another to make me jealous. If Madeline wanted to be with you the entire time, maybe their plan was to impact you as well? Something to think about, Will. I'm just telling you this because I don't want you to be hurt by Madeline before your relationship has even started."
Will watches as Meggan exits the restaurant and wonders if she is right: was Madeline trying to make him jealous by kissing Jeff?
Peaks General Hospital
"You still can't feel your legs?" a concerned Andy asks Donovan as he sits next to his friend in his hospital room. Andy came to visit his friend because he was concerned when he heard that Donovan was in a car accident with Olly. Now, he just found out that Donovan can't feel his legs, which is very concerning.
"No, and the doctors haven't told me much," Donovan admits to him, still wondering when he will learn what is really going on with him. "They are running more tests and I just have to wait."
"If I can do anything to help, even babysit Olly, you know that I am here for you and Lukas, right?"
"I do," Donovan smiles back to him. "I appreciate that. What is going on with you? How are things with Nicholas?"
Andy sighs back to him. "I I ended things with Nicholas," Andy reveals to him. "It turns out, he and Clayton have shared a few kisses. I actually saw them kissing once."
"Whoa," Donovan replies to him quickly. "I didn't think that Nicholas was that kind of guy?"
"Neither did I," Andy tells him. "But they grew closer because Clayton was confiding in him about how he felt like Maddie and I were wanting him to become Reese. Clayton wanted to leave town, and when I saw him kissing Nicholas, it was a goodbye kiss, apparently."
"He wanted to leave town? What changed?"
Andy shrugs back to him. "Apparently he realized that he shouldn't be running away from his family, meaning Madeline. So, he is living with her now."
"Do you want my advice?" Donovan asks him as Andy shakes his head. "You and Clayton, you should mend fences. Make him realize that you know he isn't Reese. If you two are in a good place, I can't imagine that he would continue to make out with Nicholas. You and Nicholas have been through so much together, don't let this come between you two."
Nicholas sits at his desk typing furiously into his laptop. After he was at dinner with Robin, he returned to work because he has so much to do. As he works though, he can't help but recall about how Robin told him that he was playing with fire by his admission that he was attracted to Clayton and still being in love with Andy. He knows that he is but he can't help how he feels; and with Andy pushing him away, Nicholas is wondering if he should pursue Clayton.
"Burning the midnight oil?" a voice calls out from the doorway of his office.
Nicholas looks up and gets a grin on his face when he sees Clayton standing there. "Clayton, I am, I have a ton to do. What brings you by?"
"I just finished my shift at the coffeehouse and I saw your light on," he admits to him. "Guess I just wanted to say hi."
"Well, hi," Nicholas chuckles back to him. "I appreciate you stopping by."
Clayton looks back at him. "I actually had a question for you," he admits to him as he puts his hands in his pockets.
"Sure? What's going on?"
Clayton chuckles as he tries to hide his nervousness. "I was hoping that you'd want to go out with me. Like on a date, or something."
Nicholas smiles back to him. "Really?"
"I mean, yea," Clayton looks back at him. "We've kissed before and we both enjoy it, so why not see if there's something more there? I get it if you're not up to it though. You and Andy did just break up "
"No, I'd love too," Nicholas replies to him, as Clayton smiles back to him. "I'd accept your invite to have a date."
Davenport House; Trenyce & Andrew's Home
"Has there been any updates from Greg or Dawn?" Chris asks Trenyce, who is sitting on the sofa in the living room of her home and is biting her nails. She is still worried about Cheresa, who is seemingly missing. Once she and Andrew heard from Dawn that Cheresa was missing, Trenyce called Chris to tell him know about their daughter.
"No, nothing yet," Trenyce nervously replies to him. She knows that it is not like Cheresa to not get back to people right away; the fact that no one has heard from her in hours is very unsettling to her. "Greg did text me to say that Simona Lopez was going to open a file despite Cheresa not being missed for at least 24 hours."
"Well, that's good news," Chris comes up to the sofa and sits next to her. "I know that you're having a high risk pregnancy, how are you feeling with all of this? Are you staying calm?"
"I have been trying to stay calm," Trenyce admits to him. "I am worried but I have been practicing some breathing techniques that the doctor gave me when I spent the night in the hospital."
"Good," Chris nods back to her. "I know things have been strained between us, but I have always cared for you, Trey. I still do, and I always will."
Trenyce gets tears in her eyes at his words as she thinks about how she and Andrew have shared a few kisses lately. Now hearing that Chris does still care about her, she feels even more conflicted then before.
"I've waited a long time to hear that," she admits to him. "You know that I have always cared about you too, Chris. I never stopped."
"Then let's put this behind us?" Chris looks at her. "Cheresa needs us; let's be a united front in all of this?"
Trenyce hugs him and smiles to him. "I want nothing more than to be with you on this. Thank you for giving us this, Chris. We need to be together right now."
"I still can't believe that Jacob dropped the charges against Cassie," Paige tells Max as they sit across from one another in the restaurant. Cassie was with Max at the restaurant as she wanted to have a celebratory drink, but after the drink she wanted to head home as she was tired. Max decided to stay to have one more drink and that's when Paige arrived.
"Well, he wants to meet his child," Max looks back at her before he takes a sip of his beer. "I don't blame him for doing whatever he could to do that."
Paige uneasily nods back to him. "Did you ask you Mom if she is telling the truth? Do you think she gave birth to Jacob's child?"
"I did ask her," he admits to her as he looks into her eyes. "My mom told me that she gave birth to Jacob's son. I believe her, I don't think she lied."
Paige picks up her cocktail and takes a hearty drink of it. "So, Jacob is a father," she sighs back to him. "I wonder how he's going to deal with that because his life is going to change forever moving forward."
Cascade Apartments; Cassie & Max's Home
Cassie pours herself a glass of red wine as she stands in the kitchen of the apartment she shares with her son. She is only wearing a silk robe as she wants one glass of wine and then she wants to go to sleep; having been in jail for the last few days, she wants nothing more than to have a good nights rest in a real bed.
She takes a sip of her wine before she hears a knock on her door. She moves up to the door and opens it, seeing Jacob standing in the hallway.
"Jacob, this is a surprise," Cassie tells him as she lets him into her apartment. "What brings you by?"
"You know damn well why I am here," Jacob replies to her quickly. "You told me that if I drop the charges against you, I would get to meet my son, my child. So, I'm here to meet him. Where is he?"
"I've already asked for him to be brought to Twin Peaks," Cassie informs him. "But come here, I'll show you something."
Jacob moves up to Cassie, who grabs her phone. She opens the photo album and shows him a picture of a baby boy. "This is your son, Jacob. This is our child."
Jacob takes the phone and looks at the picture. He feels his heart warm at the sight of the baby; he still can't believe that he has a child, but the picture in front of him is a baby boy.
"My son?" he asks as he looks at the picture again. "Wow, I can't believe it. I'm a father," he says as he and Cassie lock eyes.
She puts her hand on his shoulder. "Our son," she says as she purses her lips together. "We have a beautiful baby boy together, Jacob. We are bonded together, forever."
"Did you two miss me?" a cackling Vinny asks as he moves into the Calimo cabin, interrupting Bryce and Victoria's intense conversation. He is so glad that he thought of the Cabin as a place that Bryce could have taken Victoria because both he and Frederick have been worried about Bryce exposing all of their secrets, including the fact that Frederick is alive and Vinny's plan to switch Abby's baby with baby Olly. "I am glad that I figured out where you were hiding."
"Brett?" Victoria gasps back to him, wondering what he is doing here. She and Bryce were just in the middle of a conversation where he was going to announce why he told her that Brandy returned when she had never split. "What the hell are you doing here?"
"The truth is out, actually," Vinny moves up to them. "I'm not Brett. I am Vinny. Brett is dead."
Victoria shakes her head in confusion. "What? How did this happen?"
"Last year, the explosions at the mansion," Vinny looks back at her. "Brett is the one that was killed, not me."
"We we had a DNA test after the explosions last year?" a confused Victoria continues to be unsure of what is happening.
"My buddy, Bryce, here," Vinny tells her quickly as Victoria shoots him a look of shock and awe. "I had him switch the test results."
Victoria looks at Bryce in confusion. "Vinny? He was the person that was blackmailing you?"
Bryce nods back to her but doesn't say anything. "That's enough of that!" Vinny yells at them. "This conversation is over, do you both of you understand?"
"I don't understand any of this," Victoria looks back at Bryce and then at Vinny. "Why were you blackmailing Bryce into telling me that I split again? What the hell is going on here?"
Vinny glares back at Victoria. He knows that he has to shut her up because he can't afford any more of his secrets to come out and be exposed. The more that she knows, the more dangerous she becomes, he realizes.
"I said this conversation is over," Vinny tells her as he pulls out the hand gun that Frederick gave him, which causes Bryce and Victoria to gasp. "And, I damn well meant it."
Dockside Storage Lockers
"I am glad that you're not hurt," Tara tells Cheresa as she lifts the fallen chair that the model is still tied too. When Tara returned to the Lawson storage locker, she found Cheresa collapsed on the floor and she realizes that Cheresa must have been trying to escape. "You know, I'm going to be a rich woman if I get you home safely."
Cheresa tries to respond to her captor but she still has the gag in her mouth. Tara looks at her and realizes that she must be thirsty.
"Okay, I'll give you some water," Tara tells her as she grabs the water bottle, "Just like the last time, any loud noises and I will kill you."
Tara removes the gag from Cheresa's mouth and puts the water bottle to her lips. A parched Cheresa drinks as much water as she can before she stops and looks at Tara.
"Please," Cheresa pleads with her. "If it is money you're after, I can get you money. My family we have millions. Just let me go?"
"I've heard that your family has connections," Tara winks back to her. "Let me put that into my connections orbit and I'll get back to you. In the meantime, don't try to escape because you won't get away from me, okay?"
With that, Tara puts the gag back on Cheresa's mouth, who squirms in the chair, desperate to try to get away from this woman who has kidnapped her.
"Greg, what are you doing here?" a startled Kim asks him as she moves up to her friend. The last thing any of them needed is for Greg to overhear them discussing their plan to get Cheresa home safely, but now they might not have a choice in the matter.
"I came to see you," Greg replies to her. "After we ran into one another at the coffeehouse, I wanted to take you up on your offer to talk to you if I needed anything. I was feeling, I don't know, helpless, and I thought I'd come to see my friend. Imagine my surprise to hear that you three know where my daughter is! So, start talking, where the hell is she and how did you all get involved?"
Kim uneasily gulps as she looks over at Robbie. "It's a long story," Robbie replies to him, not sure he can lie to Greg over this. "And, this is completely my fault."
"What the hell did you do to my daughter?" Greg asks as he grits his teeth and moves up to Robbie. "Start talking because I'm not leaving here until you tell me every last detail!"
