Previously on One Day at a Time
- Chris delivered Trenyce's baby in a blackout; after the delivery, Trenyce fainted and Chris was able to call for help when the power returned
- Lukas confronted Jasper about giving Donovan a massage and Jasper told him he was the only man he wanted
- Robbie and Kim mourned the loss of their baby. Cheresa, meanwhile, told Simona that Robbie arranged her kidnapping
- Nicholas and Clayton shared a second date while Andy confessed his affair with Clayton to Madeline
- Adam arrived at Shane's to tell Robin the truth about Shane and Helen plotting against them

Twin Peaks General Hospital

Chris paces back and forth in the waiting room of the hospital, while Andy sits and waits for news on Trenyce. Chris called Andy for more support while they waited to hear how Trenyce and her new child are doing. He has also left voicemails for Andrew and Daisy; he still can't believe that Trenyce fainted while giving birth; he was able to get her to wake up so she could finish the delivery but once the child was out, she passed out again. He knows that she has been dealing with a high-risk pregnancy and she was having panic attacks; he just hopes that he got her in time.

"You're going to wear a hole in the floor," Andy stands up and looks over at Chris.

"I know," Chris looks back at him. "I just hate this waiting. I need to know that Trenyce and the baby are okay."

"I'm so glad that you were with her last night," Andy tells him quickly. "Could you imagine if she had been alone?"

"I don't even want to think about that."

"Do you know what caused her to get so worked up?" Andy asks him next. "I know that she was having panic attacks but usually they are triggered by something?"

Chris shrugs back to him as he recalls the last attack that Trenyce had was seemingly set off by him telling her he wanted to talk to her; he had planned on proposing, but for some reason, this made her have an attack.

"I just wanted to talk to her," Chris reveals to him. "I know that sounds crazy, but it is true. The two of us, we had reunited and admitted that we still loved one another. I was going to propose to her, Andy. But for some reason, she had this attack."

Before Andy can reply, Greg moves into the waiting room and looks at the men. "Doctor, how is she? How is Trenyce?" Chris asks him quickly.

"She will be fine," Greg replies to her. "I have sedated her so she can calm down. She might be out of it for a while, but she will make a full recovery. You saved her life, Chris."

"I'm so relieved," Andy tells him as he looks at Chris.

"And the baby? How is Trenyce's son?" Chris asks the doctor next.

"He is also doing well," Greg nods back to him. "He's sleeping and will be able to meet his mother when she wakes up."

"Thank you," Chris breathes a sigh of relief. "Do you mind if I go see her?"

"Of course not," Greg replies to him. "Just make sure that she gets some rest. She's been through a lot."

"Noted," Chris nods back to him. "Andy, thanks so much, I'll keep you posted."

Andy watches as Chris scurries away and then looks back at Greg. "You have a grandson," Andy tells him, remembering that Brad is the father of Trenyce's son. "Congratulations."

Greg chuckles back to him. "Thanks Andy. I am just glad everyone is going to be okay."

Twin Peaks General Hospital

A short time later, Andy is walking through the hospital towards the elevators. He wants to head to the Sun so he can start working on the story for tomorrow's paper. He is just glad that Trenyce, and her new son, will be okay. Because she will likely be out of it for some time, Andy realizes that he will come back later to see his friend.

"Andy, how is Trenyce?" Madeline asks him as she walks up to him. She can't help but recall how they were having breakfast together when Andy got the call from Chris that Trenyce was at the hospital. Of course, Andy rushed over to see his friend and Madeline was on her way to work anyways.

"She should be fine," Andy informs her. "Her and the baby are doing good."

"What a relief."

"I know, how I can try to focus on work and think about what I am going to do about Nicholas and Clayton."

Madeline arches her eyebrow back to him. "What? Did you hear from your brother?" Andy asks her quickly, realizing that she knew more than she did when they were at the Pampa Grill together.

Madeline uneasily nods back to him. "He sent me a text," Madeline replies to him quickly. "He and Nicholas are having a breakfast date today. So, right now, they are probably together Andy."

Andy feels a large lump grow in his throat so he gulps heavily. He has no idea what is happening with Nicholas and Clayton but the fact that he slept with Clayton the previous night is weighting on him; is Clayton about to, also, sleep with Nicholas? Andy has no idea but he doesn't like this situation, not one bit.

The Young Mansion; Nicholas' Home

"I really did enjoy this breakfast date," Nicholas tells Clayton as he starts to pack some of the containers that breakfast came in and he moves to the rubbish bin. "This was a nice idea."

"I'm glad you think so," Clayton comes up behind Nicholas and looks into his eyes. He is very attracted to Nicholas, which is why he surprised him with a breakfast date today. Clayton knows that the previous evening he and Andy slept together but he is trying to put that behind him. "I am trying to impress you."

Nicholas chuckles back to him. "Well, it is working. And, for the record, I am enjoying this too, Clayton."

Clayton leans into him and gives him a kiss on his lips. They part ways and look at one another again before Clayton kisses him again.

When they part ways, Clayton smiles back to Nicholas. "Let's take this breakfast date to the next level," he whispers to Nicholas. "Let's go upstairs?"

Nicholas looks back at him in surprise; he hasn't been with anyone other than Andy for so long, now Clayton is suggesting they go upstairs and have sex. He finds himself nodding back to Clayton, who grabs Nicholas' hand and they start to move upstairs.

Twin Peaks General Hospital

"I hope you don't mind that Robbie told me last night what happened," Natasha tells Kim as she sits next to her in the hospital room that her sister-in-law is laying in. Natasha is still unnerved to learn that Kim miscarried her unborn child the previous night after being involved in an accident at the Lawson storage locker. She can only imagine the pain that Kim is going through, considering everything that went through after Blake died. "How are you doing today?"

Kim looks back at her with red eyes. She barely slept the night before because of the pain that she is feeling. She feels completely emotionally drained as losing another child has devastated her.

"I don't mind that Robbie told you," Kim finally replies to her. "You were going to find out eventually. As for how I am? I don't know, Natasha. I…I feel numb."

"I just want you to know," Natasha looks back at her. "That I am truly sorry, Kim. I know that we haven't been close these last few years, but I never wanted this to happen to you."

Kim uneasily nods back to her. "Thank you. That actually means a lot to me."

Before Natasha can say anything else, Greg opens the door and moves into the hospital room. "Kim, morning, how are you feeling today?"

Kim shrugs back to her doctor and friend. "As well as to be expected, I suppose. Can you please tell me if I can leave here today?"

Greg nods back to her. "As soon as the tests I ran this morning come back all good, you can be discharged. But I have to ask, do you really want to go back to the mansion?"

"Why wouldn't I go home?" Kim asks him back quickly. "That's the only place that I want to be. I want the comfort of my house, Greg."

"Because," Greg looks back at her and then over at Natasha. "Robbie is there, and after what that son of a bitch did to my daughter, I don't know why you'd want to be around him! He put all of this into motion."

"I think we all just need to remain calm," Natasha interjects to them. "What happened was all a huge misunderstanding."

"No, Greg is right," Kim looks back at her. "Robbie did put this all into motion. Robbie is the reason that Cheresa was kidnapped and the reason my baby is dead. And, he has to pay for what he has done. I don't know how or when, but Robbie will pay for all of this."

The Calimo Mansion

Robbie finishes the coffee in his cup before he puts it down on the small table in the living room. He then collects some of his belongings and puts them into his briefcase. He wants to go to the hospital to see Kim and, hopefully, bring his wife home. He knows that she is devastated by the loss of their unborn child, he is too, but the sooner he can bring her home, the sooner they can start to heal together, he believes. He has to make her realize that everything that happened last night was an accident; he hates that she is blaming him for the miscarriage; he has to make her realize that he is just as upset as she is about the loss.

He finishes packing his things and moves towards the front door of the mansion. He grabs his coat and opens the door, only to see Simona standing on the other side, about to ring the doorbell.

"Mr. Calimo, just the man I wanted to see," Simona looks at Robbie with intent.

"Detective," Robbie replies to her. "I am afraid that I can't speak right now. I am on my way to the hospital to see my wife."

"You're going to have to make time," Simona informs him. "Because I am here to truly understand how and why you had Cheresa Lawson kidnapped."

Robbie freezes and looks back at her in surprise. "I see I have your attention," Simona moves into the foyer of the mansion. "Now, start speaking. Tell me every last detail, I want to know everything."

The Richardson Estate; Meggan, Lukas & Donovan's Home

Lukas looks back at Jasper, who is running his hand over his toned chest and can't help but feel his attraction to the man in front of him build. Jasper just admitted to him that he is still very attracted to Lukas and he would love to have sex with him again, especially because they are home alone right now.

"Jasper," Lukas whispers back to him. "We … can't … do … this…"

"I know, you're right," Jasper replies to him as he moves away from his lover. "I know you're married, but I can't stop thinking about you. And, with Donovan's health issues, it's not like…damn, never mind."

"You're making this next to impossible," Lukas looks back at him. "I … I should go."

Jasper grabs his hand to prevent him from walking away and he leans up and kisses him on the lips. "If you have too…"

Lukas responds to the kiss and grabs Jasper passionately. "God help me, I want you too," Lukas says as he starts to unzip Jasper's pants. "But this has to be the last time, Jasper."

"It will be," Jasper moans out in pleasure. "It absolutely will be."

The Glubbs Home; Shane & Robin's Home

"Well, are you going to answer me?" Robin looks over at Adam and Shane, both of whom are standing with her in the living room of the house that she lives in with her baby and husband. Moments before Adam arrived, Shane told his wife that he had something to tell her and that he wanted to be honest with her. Right before he could tell her what he meant, Adam arrived and just told Robin that it was time she knew the truth. She feels like everyone around her knows a secret and she doesn't like it. "What is going on? Why are you both saying that there is something that I need to know?"

Adam looks back at Shane and grits his teeth, furious with him for working with Helen to ensure that he and Robin broke up. He knows that, despite Robin marrying Shane, she has to know the truth because it could change everything.

"What were you going to tell her?" Adam asks Shane, curious about Robin's comment. "Were you actually going to tell her the truth?"

"What I was going to discuss with my wife is none of your damn business, Adam," Shane huffs back to him. "In fact, I think you should leave so I can finish talking to Robin alone."

"I don't think so," Adam shakes his head back to him. "I'm not going to give you, or Helen, any more chances to ruin my life. Those days are over."

"What the hell are you two going on about?" Robin moves up to them. "I want to know what you two are talking about and I want to know now!"

Adam looks back at Robin. "You're going to learn everything," he nods back to her before he looks at Shane, who rolls his eyes back to him. "So, Shane, are you going to tell Robin what you did, or am I?"

Twin Peaks General Hospital

Chris sits next to Trenyce as she rests in her hospital room and grabs her hand. He kisses it before he looks at her resting. He continues to be relieved that she, and her new baby, will be fine. He doesn't know what would he would have done if anything happened to Trenyce or her son.

"You gave me a scare Trey," he whispers to her as he looks into her eyes. "But that is all behind us now, okay? You're going to be fine, and so is your son. He can't wait to meet his Mom."

Trenyce tosses a little in the bed and groans. Chris looks at her and wonders if she is going to come too so he can talk to her.

"I'm right here Trey," he tells her, encouraging her to wake up. "When you open your eyes, I'll be the first person you see."

"Annnndrewwwww," Trenyce moans as she continues to slowly regain consciousness. Chris freezes when he realizes that Trenyce is calling out for Andrew. He has no idea why she would be calling out for him, but he feels his throat close a little as she continues to mumble Andrew's name over and over again.
