The Pampa Grill

Andrew sits at the bar of the restaurant with a beer in front of him. He's already had three beers and the one in front of him is still not doing the trick. He is at the restaurant drinking because he is trying to forget the fact that Trenyce and Chris are engaged. He knew that they were getting closer again since Chris was released from jail, but he can't deny that he had hoped that Trenyce would realize that something was going on between the two of them. Since they shared a few kisses, Andrew hasn't been able to stop thinking about Trenyce, even though he knows that they could never be together.

"What the hell am I going to do?" he asks himself quickly before he takes another sip of his beer. "I can't stop thinking about her and she's with Chris."

He shakes his head quickly before he sighs. "I have to figure out how to move on from this," he tells himself. "I have to move on from Trenyce, she is going to marry Chris."

"Andrew, hey," a voice calls out from behind him. Andrew turns in the bar stool and sees Max standing there.

"Max, how were your holidays?"

Max sits next to him and orders a beer. "I can't complain, how were yours? You look like you've already had a few beers."

Andrew chuckles as he takes another sip of the beer. "I've had a few drinks already."

"Are you okay?" Max asks his friend. "Are you drowning your sorrows?"

"You know," Andrew looks over at him. "Women lead us guys to drink sometimes."

Max laughs back to him. "I hear ya on that," Max agrees with him. "Look, I won't pry, just know that this will all work out. Whatever it is, you will find happiness, whether it's with this girl or another one."

Andrew chuckles. "Well, thanks. I feel far away from that now, but I will keep that in mind, Max."

"How about a toast," Max suggests to him quickly. "To not letting women lead us to drink moving forward?"

Andrew picks up his beer and chuckles as he toasts Max. "I can't make any promises but cheers."

The Lawson Estate; Greg & Cheresa's Home

"There you are," Dawn says as Cheresa moves into the living room of the Lawson estate. "When I got here, you were still sleeping. It seems late to still be in bed, are you okay?"

Cheresa moves to the bar in the living room and pours herself a cup of coffee before she looks back at her girlfriend. "I'm afraid I didn't sleep well last night."

Dawn arches her eyebrow back to her. "Was it another nightmare? Did you dream that you were being held hostage by Tara?"

Cheresa takes another sip of her coffee. "Yes, I had another dream. I don't know what it will take to stop having these nightmares."

Dawn nervously looks back at her. She has been trying to be as supportive as she can but she has to admit that the nightmares that Cheresa has been having are troublesome to her; she just hopes that in time, she will stop having the nightmares.

"Can I do anything to help?" Dawn asks back.

Cheresa chuckles back to her. "Yea, you can. You can stop worrying about me, okay? I am fine. And secondly, you can finally answer my question on New Year's Eve. You know, when I suggested that we get married?"

Dawn moves up to her and kisses her cheek. "You know that I'd love to marry you, Cheresa. I want to be with you for the rest of my life. I think we can plan and discuss something, but right now, my main focus is on you and making sure you're mentally okay from everything you went through last year. It was more than just your kidnapping, you know. You're still dealing with the loss of baby Sonny, Shelley and Brad's deaths and the revelation that Brooke was the killer. You've had a hell of a last year or so."

"I have, we have," Cheresa nods back to her. "But that's why I want to plan a wedding, Dawn. I think something positive to focus on is exactly what I need right now."

"Okay," Dawn smiles back to her. "Finish your coffee and we can go get some food and start formulating ideas."

"That sounds great, thanks babe."

The Tower's; Floor One; Andy's Condo

Nicholas and Andy lay next to one another in the king size bed that is in the bedroom of Andy's condo. Both men have a light shimmer of sweat on their bare, toned chests as they lay next to one another.

"That was amazing," Nicholas grins back over to his lover, thinking about how great the sex just had with each other. "I had forgotten how good we are together, Andy."

Andy chuckles back to him as he rolls over to his side to look at his lover. "I never forgot about it, but it was great. I am just so glad we found our way back to one another. I really thought that I had lost you forever."

Nicholas leans in and kisses Andy on the lips. "I never stopped loving you, Andy. I hope you know that."

"I do now," Andy looks back into his eyes. "And, I never stopped loving you. I hope that we can put this last year behind us."

"We will, we are," Nicholas nods back to him.

"I just hope that Clayton can do the same," Andy sighs back to him. "He wasn't happy when we got back together."

"He will just have to deal with it," Nicholas replies to him. "After all, we never meant to hurt him. But, we belong together, and he will have to realize that sooner or later."

"You're right," Andy forces a smile on his face. "He will have to deal with this because you and I, we are never going to be apart again."

The Sugarbowl

"How was your New Year's Eve?" Madeline asks her brother as they sit across from each other in the back booth of the coffeehouse. Madeline knows that Clayton has been upset by the fact that Andy and Nicholas reunited just before the holiday season. She just hopes that he has been able to accept that and start to move on.

Clayton finishes swallowing the piece of the blueberry muffin he was chewing before he looks back at his sister as he quickly recalls how Melissa Young called him and suggested that he play his next card in order to get Nicholas back. He isn't sure that is the best option just yet but it has been on his mind since his phone call with her. "It was pretty quiet. I went to the Pampa Grill but I didn't stay long."

"I know, I was there with Will," Madeline reminds him. "Did you not stay long because Andy and Nicholas were there?"

"Just seeing them together made me sick," Clayton huffs back to her. "I still can't believe that they got back together. I feel like they played me."

"Don't say that," Madeline tells him quickly. "The fact is, Andy and Nicholas have been through a lot together. I'm sure they never meant to hurt you."

"Right," Clayton rolls his eyes.

"I know that you said before that you were going to do whatever you could to get Nicholas back," she reminds him. "But, I'm hoping that you can just let this go, Nicholas. Just try to move on from this mess?"

Clayton picks up his latte and takes a sip of it. "I do love Nicholas," he tells his sister. "I think if I love him, I should fight for him, don't you?"

Madeline uneasily shrugs back to him. "I just don't want anyone else to get hurt by this Clayton, and that's you included."

"Don't worry Maddie," Clayton says with a sly grin on his face. "I have no intention of getting hurt again but I do intend to get Nicholas back. It is just a question of when and how."

Tyler grabs his coffee from the barista and moves to the coffee bar to put some cream and sugar into his beverage. He has a million things to do at Robertson Enterprises today but he wanted to grab a coffee before he into the office.

He puts a lid on his drink and is about to leave when he sees a red headed fellow sitting alone at the window bar. He arches his eyebrow as he thinks that he recognizes the young man.

"Ethan, is that you?" Tyler asks as he moves up to the guy.

The young man turns around and immediately gets a smile on his face. "Tyler Robertson? Wow, man, it has been, what, years since we've seen each other?" Ethan Alexander replies to him quickly.

"I think it was graduation from Stanford," Tyler nods back to him, thinking about their college days together. "We had some crazy times together in school."

"That we did," Ethan chuckles back to him. "I heard that you're now working at your family company?"

"You heard correct," Tyler smiles back to him. "My Dad recently stepped down so I am the CEO."

"Wow, that's awesome," Ethan replies to him. "I am a corporate lawyer, so if you ever need anything, let me know."

Tyler arches his eyebrow. "I'll keep that in mind, although I try to avoid lawsuits."

Ethan chuckles back to him. "That's fair but maybe you will need to sue someone? Just putting it out there, if you ever need anything, hit me up."

"That's a lot Ethan," Tyler replies to him. "It's good to see you, we should catch up later?"

"Yea, that sounds good," Ethan tells him. "It will be good to reconnect."

Roboto

"You won't believe what I found out," Robbie announces to Natasha as he opens the door to the main office at Roboto and storms inside.

Natasha looks up from typing into her laptop and looks at her brother. "Hello to you too," Natasha quips back to him. "I hope that this is good news? I don't think I could handle any more bad news right now."

Robbie sighs as he pours himself a glass of water. "Kim went to Aspen with Greg Lawson over Christmas. Can you believe that? She went away with the son of a bitch who has wanted her since before Dad passed away."

Natasha sighs as she slowly stands up from behind the desk. She folds her arms over her chest and looks at her brother. "I know that it hurts Robbie," she replies to him quickly. "But, maybe this is a sign that your marriage is truly over?"

"I don't want to think about that! I want my marriage to work."

"No one wants their marriage to end," Natasha replies to him. "But, sometimes these things just happen. Look at Cory and I?"

"What were you working on when I came in?" Robbie asks her, ignoring her comments about his marriage. The last thing Robbie wants to do is think that he is headed back to divorce court. He is hoping that Roboto is the thing that he needs to help take his mind off his personal life failing.

"I'm trying to come up with a new idea for Roboto," Natasha admits to him. "We have to put this company first. We have to get it back on the top."

"I couldn't agree more," Robbie nods back to her. "Let's get back on top and make Dad proud, Nat."

The Richardson Estate; Meggan, Lukas & Donovan's Home

"I just put Olly down for his nap," Jasper announces to Lukas as he moves into the living room of the Richardson estate. Jasper pauses and looks over at Lukas and is unable to stop himself from thinking about the kiss that they shared on New Years Eve. He knows that he said it was a goodbye kiss but he can't help but still want Lukas with every fiber of his being. "He was pretty exhausted today."

"Oh great," Lukas looks up from his computer and over at his nanny. "I appreciate that update. And, I'm glad that we have a moment alone."

Jasper kicks his lips a little as he moves closer to Lukas. "You are, huh?"

"Don't you dare get any ideas," Lukas chuckles back to him. "I wanted to tell you that I meant what I said, we are over, Jasper. I have to focus on being the best husband and father to Donovan and Olly."

Jasper uneasily nods back to him. "I guess I had hoped that after our kiss…"

Lukas shakes his head back to him. "No, we are over. I have to commit myself to being a better husband to Donovan. He deserves that."

"Okay."

"I don't want to hurt you Jasper," Lukas tells him. "But whatever we had, it is over, for good this time."

***

Meanwhile, in the bedroom his shares with Lukas, Donovan slowly walks back and forth in front of the king size bed. His mind is racing on the fact that he went to surprise Lukas with the fact that he is walking again on New Year's Eve and he happened to see his husband kissing Jasper in the living room. His blood has been boiling ever since he witnessed the kiss between the two men. He has no idea how long this has been going on, but the fact that it has been going on under his nose has made his furious. After he saw the kiss, he quickly returned to his bedroom and, still, hasn't revealed to anyone that he can walk again.

"You son of a bitch," Donovan grits his teeth together thinking about Lukas kissing another man. "You are sleeping with the man taking care of our son? And, while I've been recovering from the car accident? Where the hell do you get off?"

Donovan picks up a picture that is on the dresser of the day he and Lukas got married. "You cried on Christmas Day telling me how much I meant to you, how much our family meant to you and you do this?"

He puts the picture back down before he smashes it. He knows that he has to keep his cool until he knows what he is going to do next.

"All I know is that I'm going to make you pay," Donovan whispers to himself. "You and Jasper will never know what hit you when I'm done."

Robertson Enterprises

"This sounds serious," Tyler says as he sits behind the desk in the CEO's office at Robertson Enterprises while Felicia, Leah, Robin and Paige all sit on the sofas in the room.

"It is very serious," Felicia moves some of her big red hair out of her face. "It is about Dominick."

"Grandpa isn't sick, is he?" Paige asks in concern.

"Not exactly," Leah looks back at her daughter. "You see, on Christmas Day, he presented Abby with a present."

"That's not unusual," Tyler says back to his sister. "They are married after all?"

"Yes," Robin looks back at him. "But, it was an updated version of his will. Dominick has updated his will to leave Abby with almost everything that he has."

Paige gasps back in shock. "What? How can he do that? They've only been together for, like, two minutes?"

"I tried to explain that to him before he made the changes," Felicia explains to everyone. "But, he wouldn't listen to him. He has it in his head that this is for the best."

"What are we going to do?" Tyler asks his family. "I don't think Dad will change the will back?"

"I don't know," Leah admits to everyone. "But, I have a bad feeling about this. I have a very bad feeling about it."

"I agree," Tyler echoes her statement. "We have to do something to make Dominick realize that this is a huge mistake. Abby Lawson has to be stopped, no matter what the cost."

Next on One Day at a Time
" Abby and Dominick grow closer
" Madeline is stunned by Clayton's next move
" Robin ponders her future
