The Victors Mansion; Frederick's Lair

"Well," Eva looks back at Frederick in her bedroom of the Victors mansion. Frederick just came into her room to give her some breakfast when she asked him if today would be the day that she regains her memory. She has no idea where she is or even what her name is. All she knows is that she woke up at the mansion months ago feeling like she was in a lot of pain; Frederick, since then, has been taking care of her and helping her heal. While she has been feeling better, she still has no memory of her past, which is growing more and more frustrating for her. "Do you think today will be the day that I get my memory back?"

Frederick gives her a sly grin as he recalls how he got Bryce to inject Eva with a drug to make her appear dead after she was stabbed by Brooke last year. Once her family had identified her, he whisked her body away to the mansion and has been helping her recover from her stab wound injuries. He was pleasantly surprised when she woke up from her coma with amnesia; that's when he realized that he could use Eva as a part of his plan to get Felicia back. What she doesn't know is that he has been drugging her to ensure she doesn't get her memory back. If he is going to use Eva in his plan, she can't remember who she is.

"Once you finish breakfast, we will go outside for a walk. It's still a bit brisk out but the fresh air might do you some good," Frederick finally replies to her. "Like I told you, we can't rush the process of your memory coming back. It might come back today, it might come back tomorrow, there is just no time frame on this."

Eva sighs heavily back to him. "I wish I could say that is good news, but I am so tired of this Frederick," she admits to him. "What if I have a family out there that is wondering where I am? What if I am married?"

"Don't worry about that," Frederick tells her quickly. "You have to focus on getting better. Worrying about your memory may actually harm you and prevent it from coming back. Remember, we must practice patience. I do believe your memory will come back one day, but in the meantime, we must stay calm, cool and collected. Now, I'm going to leave you to eat and when I get back, we will take that walk?"

Eva uneasily nods back to him as she starts to look at the food on the cart Frederick provided her. She is hungry, she realizes so she picks up a fork and takes a bite of the waffle that is on the plate.

Frederick slowly leaves the room, but he peers inside the small window on the door and looks at Eva eating the food that is drugged. He gets a grin on his face as he realizes that at this rate, Eva won't get her memory back anytime soon.

"Good girl," he whispers to himself. "Keep eating Eva because it will prevent your memory from returning. I can't let that happen until my plan has been fully executed."

Roboto

"We are making great headway with the auction ball plans," Natasha looks over at Robbie as she sits behind the main desk of Roboto. She is surprised by how much she, Robbie and Kim have accomplished with the planning of the launch of their new perfume, Queen of the Night, at an auction ball at the River Rock Casino. When Kim came up with the idea a few days earlier, Natasha assumed that it would take them weeks to put everything together, but it is coming together nicely.

"Yes, we certainly are," Robbie looks back at her as he sits on the sofa that is in the office. "I think we only need a few more items and our auction list will be complete, so if you can think of anything, let me know."

"What about some of the original prints from Dad's first campaign with Roboto?" Natasha suggests to him. "We could sign them, and they'd probably sell for a lot considering the legend Bob Calimo was."

"That's a great idea," Robbie smiles back to her. "And, have you seen these test shots for the Queen of the Night? I think they are good, but something is missing."

"I thought the same thing," Natasha replies to him quickly. "I think the model, Raquel is beautiful, but this is the third campaign in a row we've used her. We need to hire a new model for the next campaign."

"We tried that, remember?" Robbie uneasily says back to her. "And we got in over our heads with Cheresa."

"We won't hire Cheresa and we will not compete with Robertson for our next model. I will see to that."

Robbie chuckles back to her. "Okay, well, how about you handle the hiring of the new model and I'll just stay out of it?"

"That can be arranged," Natasha winks back over to her brother.

The Pampa Grill

Kim is moving towards the exit of the restaurant when she happens to see Will sitting at a table by himself. She hasn't seen him for a few months and wonders how he is doing. She finds herself stopping at his table.

"Good morning Will," she says as she moves up to his table. "It's been a while since I've seen you, how are you doing?"

"Kim, hi," Will replies to her quickly. "I'm alright. I'm meeting my friend Lukas for breakfast, actually. It's been a while since he and I were able to catch up, so we thought it was time."

"That's great to hear," Kim sits across from him. "I've been meaning to see how you've been coping since Eva's death last year. I know firsthand what it is like to lose someone you love."

Will nods back to her uneasily as he thinks about how he has been having dreams of Eva lately. He has no idea why after so long he is dreaming of her, but he confided in Donovan, Victoria and Natasha that he has still been having these visions of their mother lately.

"It is the hardest thing I've ever had to go through," he reveals to her. "I still think of her so often."

"Just know that it is very common and natural to do this," Kim replies to him quickly. "After I lost Bob, I thought of him all the time."

"Can I ask you a question?"

"Of course," Kim tells him. "I'm happy to talk about this with you, Will."

"Thanks," he puts a smile on his face. "Did you ever see Bob after he passed? Like, did he come to you in visions or dreams?"

"All the time," Kim admits to him. "He still does, if I am honest. I take it as a sign that he is looking out for me and trying to guide me in the right direction. Are you seeing Eva?"

"I dream about her," Will informs her. "I wasn't sure what it meant at first, but your explanation makes a lot of sense."

"Just know that she will always be with you," Kim smiles back to him. "Dreaming about her is perfectly normal, just embrace it, okay?"

The Sugarbowl

Andy grabs his coffee from the barista and moves to the coffee bar to add some sugar and cream to his beverage. As he does, he thinks back to the previous evening when he had dinner with Madeline and she revealed that she is upset with Nicholas for his delivery in ending things with Clayton; in her mind, Nicholas insensitivity is what caused Clayton to leave town suddenly. He just hopes that Madeline is able to move past this because the last thing he wants is for Madeline to be upset with Nicholas.

He turns to leave as he must get to the Sun, but he spots Madeline walking into the coffeehouse. He finds himself moving up to his sister in law.

"Morning," Andy says approaching her. "Long time no see, " he chuckles to her.

"Morning," she smiles back to him. "Looks like we both needed another coffee today, huh?"

"Yea, it was a pretty late night," Andy replies to her. "After our dinner, I went home and talked to Nicholas for a bit before bed. I kinda mentioned to him that you were feeling upset with him for his delivery with Clayton."

"It's just a shitty situation all around," Madeline tells him quickly. "It's like I said at dinner, I just hope Nicholas learns something from this mess. Actually, I hope all of you learn something."

"I guess that's all we can do," Andy uneasily nods back to her. "We just have to learn and grow from this and hopefully Clayton comes home soon."

"I hope for that," Madeline says. "But the longer he is away the more I think he will never come back."

At the back booth of the coffeehouse, Meggan, Jeff, Cory and Leah all sit together with coffees, latte's and pastries in front of them. They have gathered this morning to discuss the fact that Jeff had the idea to return to the Riverbench winery in Santa Barbara in hopes of uncovering some information about Leah and Jeff's long-lost child that she remembered giving birth to last year. They all agreed that it was a good idea, now they are just trying to put together the finishing touches on their plans.

"I got an invitation from Natasha to attend a ball at the River Rock Casino," Cory announces to the group. "Apparently, it will be the launch of Roboto's latest perfume but there will be an auction at the ball. She would be pretty upset if I missed that event."

"Actually," Jeff looks over at Leah. "I got an email from Tyler this morning stating he wanted us to be at the ball too. He wants to know everything that Roboto is up too since we are working at the competitor."

"I saw that email," Leah replies to him. "I guess that means we are all going to this gala?"

"It seems that way," Meggan looks back at her half-sister. "How about we make plans to head to the winery after the ball then?"

"I think that works with my schedule," Cory tells the group. "It gives us a couple weeks to get everything sorted out too."

"I can let the staff know the dates and they can have the property ready for us," Meggan explains to everyone. "Leah, Jeff, this really impacts you two the most? How does this sound? Do you want to head to the winery after the ball?"

"I do," Leah quickly says. "The sooner we get to Santa Barbara, the sooner we might get some of the answers that we are so desperate to get."

"Great, then it's settled," Jeff tells everyone. "We will all head to the winery after the ball."

The Cascade Apartments; Cassie, Max & Carter's Home

"Hang on, I'm coming," Cassie calls out as she hears a knock on her front door of her apartment. She sets Carter down in his playpen before she rushes over to the door. She gets a smile on her face when she sees Jacob standing in the hallway. "Jacob, this is a surprise."

"Do you mind if I come in?" Jacob asks her as he keeps his hands in his pockets.

"Of course," Cassie moves to let him into the apartment. "I was just giving Carter his breakfast."

"How's he doing today?"

"He's getting bigger each and every day," Cassie chuckles back to him. "And, he's eating like a horse. But I guess that's healthy for a young baby boy."

Jacob smirks at the sight of his son in the playpen with a bottle in his hands. "He is getting big," he observes before he looks back at Cassie.

"So," she looks back at him. "What brings you by? I haven't seen you since we got the paternity test results back."

"I know," he nods back to her. "I guess I just needed some time to wrap my head around everything that happened. But I've done that now."

Cassie arches her eyebrow back to him. "Alright, and what have you decided to do know that you know the truth? What is that you're going to do with the confirmation that you are Carter's father?"

"I," Jacob nervously begins to tell her. "I want to be here as much as possible, Cassie. I want to be a father to my son. If that's okay with you?"

Cassie gets a smile across her face. All she has ever wanted was for Jacob to be a part of Carter's life and now she believes that it will happen. "That is more than okay," she tells him. "You can spend as much time with our son as you want or need too. I will never keep you from him, Jacob. We can be a family, for the first time in Carter's life, he can finally have a mother and a father in his life."

Dominick's Townhouse; Dominick & Abby's Home

"I don't know how you do it," Abby tells Dominick as they sit across from each other at the small table in the living room of the house that they share together. Abby takes a sip of her coffee before she looks over at her husband.

"Do what my darling?" Dominick asks her before he takes a bite of his cinnamon bun that are freshly made from his staff at that morning.

"Be retired," Abby chuckles back to him. "I mean, I know you and I have been spending a lot of time together since you made that decision, but I'm starting to wonder how to fill my days."

Dominick looks back at her in surprise. He wasn't expecting her to reveal this to him this morning. "Are you saying that you're bored, Abigail?"

Abby shrugs back to him as she thinks about her meeting with Ethan the previous night. The younger lawyer reviewed Dominick's updated will to ensure that her interests were protected; the passion that she saw in Ethan's eyes when he was discussing the legal matters has made her realize that she is missing that in her life. She wants something that drives her and keeps her motivated on a daily basis.

"I'm saying I feel like I need more of a purpose," she takes another sip of her coffee. "I love being your wife, don't get me wrong, but I'm young. I should be doing something, don't you think?"

"You were going to school a few years ago," Dominick reminds her of that time of her life when she went to school in hopes of getting together with Andrew. "Do you want to take more classes, or do you think you want to find a profession?"

"Well," Abby looks back at him. "Most of your family works at Robertson Enterprises," she tells him. "Maybe I could have a position at the family company since I am family now?"

Dominick chuckles back to her. "I think that's a wonderful idea," he nods back to her. "It would show the rest of the family how dedicated you are to me and our marriage. However, I'm afraid I'm not the one to ask about a position."

Abby pouts a little. "But, it's your company. Who else would I have to talk to about this?"

"Tyler," Dominick informs her. "I made him CEO, so the decision would be up to him."

"Great," Abby rolls her eyes back to him. "Your family hates me, Dominick. There's no way in hell that he'll give me a job."

"Why don't you make an appointment to talk to him about this?" Dominick suggests to her. "Tyler might just end up surprising you."

The Lawson Estate; Greg & Cheresa's Home

"It's nice that you came over to check up on me, Chris, but I'm telling you that I am doing fine," Cheresa tells her biological father as he sits on the sofa in the lavish estate that she lives in with Greg. Cheresa, who is sitting next to Dawn, just finished telling him that her therapy sessions are going extremely well and helping her cope with the aftermath of being kidnapped the previous year.

"You can't blame a Dad for being worried about his daughter," Chris smiles back to her quickly. "And, Dawn, I can't thank you enough for taking such good care of Cheresa."

"She is my number one priority," Dawn nods back to him. "And, I can tell you that she is doing better. She isn't having nearly as many nightmares as before."

"That's great to hear," Chris looks back at his daughter. "By the way, Trenyce told me about the secret you two are keeping from me."

Cheresa feels the blood drain from her face. She can't believe that Trenyce actually told Chris about her few kisses with Andrew; the last time she saw her mother, she agreed not to tell Chris about the kisses because Trenyce told her that whatever she and Andrew had was long over. Now, Chris is telling her that Trenyce told him the truth.

"I…I, uh, I can explain about why I didn't say anything," Cheresa finally replies to him.

"No, it's fine," Chris tells her. "Trenyce explained everything. You know, she wanted to make sure about asking Andrew to move out before she told me. I get that. It makes total sense."

"Andrew is moving out?" Cheresa asks him in confusion.

"Yea, that's what she told you right?" Chris asks her quickly. "She asked you not to say anything to me until she had decided firmly or not."

Cheresa quickly realizes that this is the story that Trenyce came up with as a cover. She hates that Trenyce is escalating this lie, but she finds herself nodding back to her father.

"Right, of course," Cheresa uneasily looks back at him. "I'm glad that Trenyce finally made her decision and told you everything. I told her that you would be okay with it; she just had to be honest."

"Honesty is always the best possibility," Dawn looks at her girlfriend, not realizing that Cheresa is harbouring another secret from her and Chris.

"That is it," Chris nods back to her. "I'm glad we are all on the same page, finally," he says as Cheresa gulps heavily.

The Davenport House; Trenyce, Chris & Andrew's Home

"Before you head out for the day, I really need to have a talk with you," Trenyce says as she comes up to Andrew, who is about to leave the house for the day. Trenyce knows that after she told Chris that the secret that she was keeping from him is that she wanted Andrew to move out of the house now that she and Chris are engaged. The sooner she tells Andrew this, the better because she can tell Chris that she followed up with him.

"Ah, okay," Andrew turns and looks at her. As soon as he sees her, the feelings that he has been trying to suppress coming flooding back to him. He still wishes that they could explore whatever it was that was growing between them, but he knows that Trenyce has made her decision to marry Chris. "What's up?"

"Chris overheard Cheresa and I talking about you and I kissing," she reveals to him quickly. "Don't worry, he just heard that Cheresa was agreeing to keep my secret. Cheresa said that she won't say anything."

"Well that's a relief?" Andrew shrugs his shoulders back to her. "But what did Chris think the secret was?"

"That's what I need to talk to you about," Trenyce looks back at him. "I kinda told him that I was wrestling with a decision about you living here. I told him that I decided to ask you to move out since Chris and I are engaged."

"I see," Andrew nervously nods back to him. "So, you want me to find my own place?"

"I'm sorry that I am just springing this on you," Trenyce replies to him quickly. "I just thought the sooner I tell you, the sooner Chris will drop this entire secret thing."

"Right, well I'll start hunting for an apartment and be out of here as soon as I can."

"Andrew," Trenyce grabs his arm to prevent him from leaving. "I'm sorry that this is happening this way. I never meant for things to get to this far."

"Neither of us did," Andrew looks back at her. "And to be honest, this will be good for me. Because if I am honest, Trey, I still have feelings for you. So, moving out might be the best thing for us."

"What do you mean, you still have feelings for me?"

"I mean," Andrew looks back at her. "Even just standing here, I can't stop thinking about kissing you. I don't know what it means but the feelings are there."

Trenyce nervously looks back at him and licks her lips. "The way you're looking at me," Andrew continues to tell her. "I can tell you that you're thinking about it too."

Before Trenyce can say anything, Andrew leans in and softly kisses her on the lips. It only lasts for a moment before they part ways.

"Like I said, I'll move out as soon as I can," Andrew locks eyes with her. "And I can try to move on from this."

Trenyce doesn't say anything as Andrew leaves the house. Once the door is closed, she slowly moves her hand up to her lips and touches them thinking about the kiss she just shared with Andrew. She shuts her eyes and tries to forget what just happened, but she knows that it will be with her for weeks.
