Twin Peaks General Hospital
Madeline moves up to the nurses station and puts some patient files down on the
desk that she needs the nurse to file away for her. As she does, she can't help
but remember earlier in the day when she told Will that she needed to take a break
from him because she continued to feel like she is competing with a ghost because
she, once again, overheard him having a dream when he called out to Eva. She just
hopes that she can take the time to get her head on straight because she felt
like she was suffocating before. "Hey, I didn't realize you were
working with me tonight," Will says as he moves up to the Nurses station
and sees his former lover. "Having a good shift?" "So
far," Madeline nods back to him. "How about you?" "Mr.
Johnson put up a fuss taking his medication but what else is new?" Will chuckles
back to her. "Otherwise, it's been pretty uneventful." "That's
not a bad thing considering our line of work." Will chuckles. "Very
true," he tells her. "Look, I know we are at work but I haven't been
able to stop thinking about our conversation earlier, Maddie. Please tell me you've
changed your mind about breaking up? We can get through this, together."
"I'm sorry but I haven't changed my mind," Madeline quickly tells
him. "I need some time and I need you to give that to me, okay?"
"Okay," Will gulps back to her. "Do you know how much time?"
"I don't know," she shakes her head back to him. "But I will
know when I feel better about this situation. It might be tomorrow, it might be
a week from now
it might be never. I can't say that right now."
"Right," Will nods back to her. "Well, I guess I won't wait
around for you then. Glad we cleared that up." Before Madeline can
respond, Will storms off from the nurses station, leaving her to have a heavy
sigh. The Black House; Helen & Dawn's Home
"I
I
don't understand," Helen shakes her head back to Dale as they stand across
from one another in the living room of the house that she lives in. Dale just
admitted to her that he is, in fact, Mallory Cunningham's father, but he didn't
realize Helen's connection to his deceased child until after they were already
involved. Then, Dale told her that he could prove that he never knew about the
connection. "How can you prove to me that you didn't know that Mallory had
kidnapped Dawn and died in my back yard?" Dale runs his hands through
his hair as he takes a deep breath. "I mean, I suppose I can't actually prove
that to you. But I can give you a gesture to show you how much you have meant
to me." "Dale, I don't want any sort of gesture, I just want
the truth." "The truth?" he forces a smile on his face
before he looks back into her eyes. "The truth is, after my daughter died,
just out of those walls," he points to the back of her house. "I was
devastated. I lost the only good thing I had in my life. I was depressed, I wasn't
living anymore. Within a few months, May was cheating on me because I had shut
down on my wife! My life was a mess, Helen! I lost my daughter and my wife in
a 6 month span!" "I'm so sorry, Dale," Helen feels water
fill in her eyes listening to his story. "It wasn't until recently,"
he continues to explain to her. "That I started to feel like I was alive
again; that I was living again." "When was that?" Helen
asks him. "In Cancun, when I met you," Dale looks back at her.
"You have changed me, Helen. You have made me realize that I can't stay living
in that depressive state. And that's why, I have this gesture for you. To prove
to you how much you mean to me." "What are you talking about?"
Helen's eyes open wider in surprise as Dale falls down onto one knee and
pulls out a ring box from his pocket. He opens the box, revealing a large diamond
ring inside. "Marry me Helen? Let me show you how've you changed my life
for the rest of our lives?" The Pier
Greg walks down
the pier trying to clear his head. He has a million things racing in his mind
after the events of the last few days. He recalls how he seemingly caught Traci
looking around in the Lawson estate again; she indicated that she was looking
for a book to read, which he understood. The following day, Traci was very pleasant
and suggested that he pursue Kim; his maid told him that Kim might be waiting
for Greg to make a move on her, so they could take their friendship to the next
level. He took Traci's advice to heart and went to Roboto to talk to Kim; when
he got there, however, he saw her talking to Robbie, and he admitted that he loved
Kim. Based on body language and their conversation, Greg suspected that Kim was
about to admit that she still loved Robbie too, so he left. Now, he is left wondering
what his future with Kim really holds. He is okay being her friend but he would
like nothing more than to be in a relationship with her because he has had feelings
for her for many years. "Greg," Kim's voice calls out from
behind him, causing him to freeze as he knows exactly is behind him. "Hey,
did you hear me calling you?" "Sorry, I guess I didn't,"
he looks over at her as she comes up next to him. "I was lost in thoughts."
"Oh? What were you thinking about?" Greg uneasily chuckles
back to him. "You really want to know?" "Of course,"
Kim smiles back to him. "We are friends, Greg. I want to know what's up with
you." "Well, if I'm honest, I stopped by Roboto the other day
to talk to you," he reveals to her as he stops and looks at her. "And
you were having a conversation with Robbie that seemed
I don't know, intense."
Kim arches her eyebrow. "Oh, I didn't see you? Why didn't you come in?"
"Robbie just said he loved you," Greg tells her. "I didn't
want to interrupt so I left. But, I left thinking that you said you loved him
too." Kim gulps back to him. "Nothing can be further from the
truth," she says back to him. "I told Robbie that we were over and reminded
him of that. A part of me will always love Robbie, but I want to be free. I can't
be with him after he killed my child, or played a part in that. I hope you know
that." "So it was a goodbye?" "I guess so,"
Kim nods back to him. "Robbie doesn't even work there anymore, so I won't
be seeing him that often, Greg. Robbie and I are over, for good."
"I don't know why I needed to hear that but I guess I did," he smiles
back to her. "I'm sorry that you felt uncomfortable," Kim tells
him. "Come on, let's go grab some lunch at the Pink Flamingo? My treat."
"I'd like that." ***
"I don't know
how you are staying so calm," Bryce tells Donovan as they sit on a bench
further up on the pier with some coffees in their hands. Bryce went to Donovan's
mansion earlier to let him know that he is worried about Victoria, whom he hasn't
heard from in a few days. Donovan has encouraged his brother in law to be patient
as Victoria hasn't been away long enough to get the police involved; Bryce wishes
he could be as reserved as Donovan has been. "I am worried about
Vic too," Donovan says before he takes a sip of his coffee. "I am just
trying to be positive about the situation; I am hoping that she comes home before
we have to escalate to the police." "Yea, I hope so too,"
Bryce nods back to him. "I just keep thinking that something bad has happened.
We've been through so much together, I just get this feeling in my stomach when
something isn't right." Before Donovan can reply, Tyler comes up
behind them. "Donovan, Bryce, hi," he announces, causing the two to
turn around and see Tyler. "Hey Tyler, how's it going?" Donovan
asks him quickly. Tyler shrugs his shoulders. "I've been better,
to be honest," he says moving to the other side of the bench. "When
I saw you two together, I had to come over and talk to you." Bryce
arches his eyebrow back to him as he knows he hasn't had that many encounters
with Tyler before. "Really? You had to talk to us? What's up?"
"You're a doctor, right?" Tyler as Bryce, who nods back to him. "I
thought so. I
I might need your help with something. It's about my mother,
Felicia, she's
she's had a long history of mental illness and I think that
she's unstable again." "I see," Bryce uneasily replies
to him. "My father and I, we spoke about admitting Felicia to Raven's
Meadow, but we need to ensure a specific doctor doesn't treat her."
Bryce arches his eyebrow back to him. "Which doctor? And why don't you want
him or her to treat your mother?" "Frederick Richardson,"
Tyler quickly says Bryce gulps hearing that name. "And, it's a long story,
but needless to say he's obsessed with her. So, what do you think, Bryce? Do you
think you could help my mother?" Bryce uneasily looks back at him
and wonders what he should do; he knows that if Frederick found out that he was
helping Felicia, all hell could break loose. He can't help but think back to the
last thing Frederick told him: that he knows that Bryce switched Abby's baby and
gave him to Donovan and Lukas to raise. If that ever was revealed, his life would
be over as he knew it. "I
I will think about it," Bryce
finds himself saying back to him. "Great thanks, but don't take
too long, okay? My mother needs help and she needs it now." The
Davenport House; Trenyce & Chris' Home
"These plans for your
wedding look incredible," Cheresa tells her mother as they sit at the kitchen
table, with various wedding ideas scattered across the surface. "It is making
me want to plan more with Dawn about our own wedding." Trenyce chuckles
back to her. "I will be the proudest mother the day you and Dawn finally
decide to get married," she tells her daughter. "Do you like that pink
dress on the tablet screen?" "I do, the cut is very interesting."
"Do you think that you could wear it?" Trenyce gets a sly grin
on her face. "While standing next to me at the altar?" Cheresa
looks back at her in surprise. "Are you asking me to stand up for you?"
"I am," Trenyce chuckles back to her. "Is that a bad thing?"
"Not at all," Cheresa replies to her quickly. "I just assumed
you'd ask Daisy, that's all. But yea, I'd be honored to stand up for you, Mom."
Trenyce leans over and hugs her daughter while getting tears in her eyes.
"Thank you baby," she whispers to her. "There were so many years,
I never thought moments like this would happen; I am so glad that we found you
and we have you in our lives." "Me too," Cheresa wipes
her eyes dry. "Oh boy, here we go with the tears." Trenyce
chuckles again. "I know, I can blame the pregnancy!" "This
family stuff is emotional," she tells her mother. "Speaking of, do you
think Andrew will come to the wedding?" Trenyce sighs back to her
heavily. "I don't know," she tells her. "I have expressed my concern
with his involvement with that damn blackjack table at the casino, but he doesn't
seem to listen to me." "Dawn and I saw him there again yesterday,"
Cheresa reveals to her mother. "So, I am on the same page as you, I am worried
that he's getting in over his head. I just don't know what will happen when he's
drowning." "We will have to be there for him," Trenyce
nods back to her. "And I'll tell you what, I'll talk to him again. I won't
give up on him, not now, not ever." The River Rock Casino
Andrew slowly moves through the hallway on the fourth level of the hotel that
is attached to the casino. His mind is racing about how earlier he saw Antonio
taking Daisy to the back wall of the casino, where there were multiple women all
glammed up. He has no idea what Daisy was doing with the women, but he is intrigued
to say the least because normally Daisy isn't dressed that well. He knows that
she always looks good, but she rarely puts on a dress, high heels and with a full
face of makeup. He reaches her suite door and knocks on it quickly. He
waits for her to open the door, which seemingly takes a few minutes. Eventually,
the door opens, and Daisy sees Andrew standing in the hallway. "Andrew?
What are you doing here?" she asks with heavy eyes. "Can I
come in?" he asks her as she moves to let him in her suite. He immediately
sees a bottle of vodka open on the small table and her bed is unkept. "What
happened in here? Did you have a party?" he chuckles back to her.
Daisy closes her eyes as she recalls how she started drinking once she had her
gentlemen caller in her room. She needed to feel a tad numb in order to have sex
with him, which she did. Once it was over, he left her a wad of cash and he left.
Now, she is just trying to regain her composure. "Something like
that," she replies to him. "Why, you want to have a drink with me?"
"I don't think that's a good idea," he winks back to her. "It
looks like you've enough." "You're probably right," Daisy
laughs to him. "But I like this feeling, you know? It helps me
it helps
me escape." "Why do you need an escape?" Andrew asks her
quickly. "What are you running from?" "It's not important,"
Daisy waves her hand back to him. "If it's any consolation, I am
also trying to escape something myself," he reveals to her. "So, never
feel like you are alone, okay?" "Thanks Andrew," Daisy
forces a smile on her face ."I guess we all have our own ways of coping,
right?" "Exactly," he nods to her. "You know what?
One more drink wouldn't hurt, right? I'll pour?" "Yes please,"
Daisy chuckles back to him as she moves over to the sofa and falls into it. Andrew
comes back around with a vodka for her, but he sets it on the table when he sees
that Daisy has fallen asleep. "What are you running from Daisy,"
he whispers to himself. "And what happened in this room tonight?"
***
Meanwhile, downstairs in the Pink Flamingo restaurant,
Max and Isabelle sit across from one another in the restaurant with a bottle of
wine on the table and some crab cakes. "I can't tell you how happy
I was to hear from you to go on this date," Max chuckles back to her before
he takes a bite of his crab cake that he has in his hand. He knows that earlier
he got a call from the young model asking him to go out on another date with him.
He wasn't sure that she would be interested in another date so soon because she
had indicated to him that she didn't want anything serious because she had an
attraction to someone else. Max is smart enough to know that her attraction is
to Jacob because he saw them flirting with each other, but he also knows that
Jacob has been growing closer to Cassie. Isabelle slowly takes a sip
of her wine while she thinks about how she saw Jacob give Cassie a kiss on her
cheek the previous day, which is why she asked Max out on the date. She hasn't
been able to get the image of Jacob out of her mind, however. She realizes that
she does like Jacob but if he is moving on with Cassie, she doesn't want to dwell
on it. "I guess I didn't want to have a drink alone tonight,"
she finally replies to him. "And we did have a nice time on our last date,
at least I thought." Max chuckles. "I'm pretty sure you know
that I had a good time," he winks back to her. "Based on those kisses
we shared." Isabelle blushes back to him. "Yea, I guess you
did make it clear, didn't you?" "I know that you said you wanted
to go slow but I am enjoying our time together, Isabelle." Isabelle
looks back at Max and, for a split second, thinks that she sees Jacob sitting
across from her with a dashing smile on his face. She, then, comes back to reality
and sees Max across from her. "Yea, me too Max. Me too." The
Calimo Mansion
"Sorry that I am here so late, but I had to see
you," Shane explains to Natasha as they move into the living room of the
Calimo mansion. After Shane met with Cassie earlier in the evening, he knew that
he had to come and see his ex-wife to give her the latest update on their plan
to keep Cassie away from Jacob. "It's alright," Natasha replies
to him. "I suspected that this had something to do with our plan for you
to seduce Cassie?" Shane nervously chuckles back to her. "You
know me so well," he tells her quickly. "But yes, it does. I had Cassie
over to my place tonight." "And? How did it go? Did you sleep
with the barracuda?" Shane gulps before he looks into Natasha's
eyes. "I kissed her," he reveals to her. "And it lasted a moment
but as soon as I tried to take it further, she stopped me and told me she had
no interest in me anymore." "Damn, I'm sorry to hear that,"
Natasha shakes her head back to him in surprise. "I guess she really does
have feelings for Jacob?" "I don't know Nat," Shane shrugs
back to her. "She might? She has been obsessed with him for a while now.
I
I just don't know what we are going to do now that she has rejected me."
Natasha arches her eyebrow back to him. "Don't worry about that,"
she says as a sly grin comes across her face. "I have a new idea, but I will
need your help with it Shane. If we are going to execute this, you're going to
have to stand behind me all the way." Next on One Day at a Time
